How you physically like to imagine Draco and Harry? Like, Harry grow muscular or stays on the skinny side, with or without beard, Draco with long or short hair? Im always torn...I only know that Draco needs to be tall and lanky for his short king :D

What a great question, thank you! When reading fic, I’m more than happy for the author to take me wherever they like with the physical descriptions. In my head Drarry are vague enough that I can enjoy them no matter what they look like in the fic and I love the variety of it all.

That being said, let me mention some interpretations in artworks that stole my breath away:

@fairysilk has this STUNNING study of Harry, that might be my favourite thing in the world. I know I said I don’t have a preference but if I had to pick, this is Harry.

You mentioned bearded Harry and YES. @blvnk-art ‘s Harry of course, so so so perfect. As an aside, Bianca also draws my favorite Wolfstar.

Can we also talk about my personal weakness: dad bod Harry? Just look at him, this perfection is of course by @bluebutter-art . I will never be over it.

Speaking of weaknesses - I melt when one (or both!) of them them have tattoos and/or piercings. Nobody will ever be as cool as Draco by @kryptidfox

A Different Way to Make You Pay

“Fuck!”

Malfoy’s head snaps back to hit the wall as Harry spins them, shoves him hard.

“You’re a fucking dick,” Malfoy hisses and Harry grins, pressing his forearm across Malfoy’s chest to hold him in place.

“Oh yeah? Takes one to know one,” he says and Malfoy rolls his eyes.

“Real mature, Potter. Now fucking get off me.”

“No,” Harry says, and presses harder just in case Malfoy is thinking of getting away. “I don’t think I will. Not until you apologise.”

“For what?” Draco shouts and sneaks a hand up to rub at the blood seeping from his nose. “Shit, I’m bleeding. I can’t believe you fucking punched me in class.”

“Technically,” Harry says, “it was after class.”

He isn’t sure but he thinks Malfoy just came perilously close to smiling.

Honestly, Harry is not even entirely sure how things escalated so quickly. It feels like one minute he had been talking to Ron about their weekend plans as they’d headed to the supply cabinet to put away the leftover ingredients from whatever it was they’d been brewing, and the next minute, he and Malfoy were screaming at each other.

Harry winces as he remembers the words he’d hurled at Malfoy. Sure, Malfoy had said some terrible things too, but if Harry’s being honest, he himself is not entirely innocent in this matter. 

Malfoy leans his head back against the wall and Harry takes in the slump of his shoulders, the circles under his eyes. 

‘You’re going to get me expelled,” Malfoy says on a slow exhale and Harry really doesn’t like the sound of defeat in his voice. It’s only fun when Malfoy fights back.

Wait, what?

So, Harry does the only logical thing he can think to do, which is to press harder against Malfoy’s chest.

“It’s just your face is so punchable,” he says and Malfoy doesn’t even lift his head, just rolls his eyes.

“What do you fucking want from me?” Malfoy asks. “I’ve been trying to leave you alone and stay out of your way.”

Harry sees the bob in his throat as he swallows, and finally, Malfoy lowers his chin to meet Harry’s gaze. 

“You’re the one who knocked into me,” Malfoy continues. “You’re the one who started it. You threw the first punch.”

He does, Harry has to admit, have a point.

All of a sudden it hits Harry, the position they’re in. The empty hallway, Harry shoving Malfoy up against the wall, their bodies pressed so close together that the heat of Malfoy’s skin is palpable. Harry takes in the sharp line of Malfoy’s jaw, the curve of his lips, and only then does he understand.

“I fucking hate you,” he whispers and leans in closer, so close that Malfoy’s breath is warm on his lips as they stare at each other.

“Noted,” Malfoy whispers. “Right back at you.”

Then Harry closes the distance.

They lay on a pile of soft pelts, and Draco feels warmer in Harry’s arms than he thinks he should, naked under an enchanted sky in a kingdom of caverns.

Ron/Draco Fest — Better Together 2021

Peach, this gift is for you because you’re an amazing person, my very first (and very best) fandom friend, and are always there when I need someone to bounce ideas off of. I couldn’t have completed my 2021 Wireless without you! (Seriously, Peach beta’d my fic while away on vacation!)

So here’s the thing. I love ALL of Peach’s fics. She brings a certain quality that’s unique to her, a perfect blend of whimsy, fluff and smut, and I can’t get enough. But there’s a special place in my heart for A Weasel in the Hamptons. You see, I had never read Dron before. But I knew with Peach writing it, the story would be fantastic. And lemme tell you, I credit this fic with turning me into a Dron shipper, and it has had me coming back for a reread on many occasions.

AWITH will transport you to the Hamptons, hit you with all the feels, and captivate you with the laugh-out-loud moments and off-the-charts chemistry between two perfectly imperfect individuals finding what they didn’t know they needed.

Naturally, I have been dying for art for this fic since my first read. Honestly, it was hard to pick just one scene because there are so many enticing ones. But I finally decided on the brilliant pool scene, one of my absolute favourite scenes.

I LOVE @kryptidfox Reese’s art, and just knew their style would be perfect for this fic. IT’S SOOOOOO GOOD. I love the colour scheme, the sense of movement, all the little details (the heart beauty mark!!!), and Reese’s idea to show both above and below the water is inspired.
