I have a question for my fellow Star Wars nerds out there, the kind that really get into the nitty gritty. In particular I’m looking for anyone with knowledge on the Rebel Alliance and what all the symbols on their helmets mean.

For added context I have attached an image of some of the symbols one might find and I’m hoping to know all about these but also more than just what you see here. I have a tiny bit of knowledge about the ones shown but beyond that I’m clueless and really want/need to know more.

I enjoy painting as a hobby. Definitely not a professional. But recently have made a stab at the Enterprise. I wanted to tackle an X-Wing for my nephew as a Christmas present this year.
