Lt. Ronald Hollenbeck states: Cleven buzzed the tower with my airplane with all four engines feathered. That’s the kind of guy Cleven was. I had just gotten a couple engine replacements, and he didn't get to fly too much being squadron CO, so he comes over and says; "Hollenbeck, let me fly your airplane for you, I'll put some slow time on it" and the next thing I knew, is this God d--n B-17 was coming across just about 25 feet off the runway and I looked up and all 4 engines were feathered. He (Cleven) said "I wanted to do that all my life." (x)

Q: You and Paul had this huge falling out. Were there always huge differences between you and Paul, or was there a time when you had a lot in common?

JOHN: Well, Paul always wanted the home life, you see. He liked it with daddy and the brother… and obviously missed his mother. […] So it was always the family thing, you see. If Jane [Asher] was to have a career, then that’s not going to be a cozy family, is it? All the other girls were just groupies mainly. And with Linda not only did he have a ready-made family, but she knows what he wants, obviously, and has given it to him. The complete family life. This is very interesting because John is being asked about his falling out with Paul and the differences that drove them apart, and John just answers that Paul wanted a family life. Why? How could something like this ruin a "friendship"?

I like to think that instead of the hostile side eyeing each other in canon, that initially Allura and Keith just side eye each other cause they’re awkward and don’t know quite what to make of each other

Lurlinalia is a holiday I made up to be an x-mas analog in Oz.

Wicked did a similar thing with "Lurlinemas", but that sounds so forced and awkward to my ears! But more importantly, I don't think "Lurlinemas" is public domain.

Winter solstice is either on December 21st or 22nd, depending on the year and on where you are when it happens. Do a web search to find out what day it is in your city!

In Seattle, WA (aka "the Emerald City"), winter solstice happened on the 21st in 1904 (the year this comic takes place). In Australia (aka Oz), it happened on the 22nd in 1904.
