Since everyone is on the topic of food, do you have a favorite food? Or something you tend to snack on a lot?

I like sautéed reindeer a lot, I think it's been my favorite dish for a good while now. With mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam. Creamy salmon soup too. I've eaten roasted moose just a couple of times but it was one of the best things I've tasted. Unfortunately it's expensive, I can't really justify splurging that much on delicacy meats. When I'm getting takeout I tend to default to sushi, Subway or Chinese.

Snacks, uhh... Lately I've been eating various yoghurts on a daily basis I guess? I don't eat tons of candy or salty snacks, if I'm buying a little treat for myself I'm going with a cinnamon roll, voisilmäpulla or some other pastry. I also like trying various seasonal and imported sodas.

#I really love umami and meaty dishes but I eat very little meat these days #especially red meat #but whenever I do I try to go quality over guantity and get something really nice #I get these intense food cravings every now and then #at one point I was putting honey mustard on everything and another time I was obsessed with dill #goopy fried eggs on rye bread #I had a really bad onion/garlic phase a couple of years ago #went temporarily insane and ate an entire raw onion like an apple once #answered #backyard-dog

Me: I really need to start prioritizing my protein intake again since I will be going back to the gym.

Also me: *eats bread for breakfast*

happy easter. im not christian or anything but i did some egg decorating for it with family and the fact that ive been thinking about naq recently caused the two ideas to collide. have a little scene doodle about n&q + celeste doing egg decorating. nova and starstraw are there in spirit (couldnt fit them in)

Finally tried a ramen place I've had my eye on! Delicious soy sauce broth and wonderful noodles, very complex texture. But the real star was the egg; from the first little bite, it was a total holy-shit moment. I could not wait to see what the yolk was like. I mean, just look!

I've eaten a lot of ramen (and made a lot of ramen eggs) but I rarely encounter this intense color, and the mix of semi-solid yolk with liquid oozing out of the center...... I've never seen anything like it!

finally have an actual job so maybe I can stop being a hermit and get officially divorced and feel sort of financially stable and possibly try dating again and get a cat ??? is that allowed? no I probably shouldn't unless I get a bigger place and can have two cats to be friends

downside is when the fuck am I supposed to draw dumb comics if I'm working for hours and hours a day? Hell and suffering on earth. maybe i should get an iPad or a whatthefuck ever and draw on the commute so I don't lose even more of my meager art skills
