i had a dream last night that i organized a tumblr meetup and we all agreed to go to a local bar together. so i go to the bar but it was a really busy night and i didn't want to ask every stranger "are u here for tumblr reasons" bc that's embarrassing and i'm shy. so i just got a drink and felt very awkward & hoped someone would approach me. tried to look inviting and like i was from tumblr but not like i was "from tumblr". when i left some girl stopped me to ask if i was there for the meetup but i was too shy and asked what's tumblr?

in the dream i went home to make a post about how nobody showed up to the tumblr meetup but my entire dash was people saying they'd gone to the bar but were too fucking shy to admit to being on tumblr so we'd all just had a drink and gone home

just envisioning Jason riding home to you from patrol but getting caught in the rain.

Water beads on his helmet and cascades down his collared suit as he dismounts. His soaking suit clings to him deliciously as both his squeaking boots are planted on the ground next to his glistening bike.

His bruised hands reach up to remove his helmet, which reveals his supple, moistened cheeks shadowed by his drenched curls. He's definitely a welcome sight, as you watch him from your bedroom window, neglecting to feel any remorse for the way your thighs are rubbing together. He's cold and wet, and this is how you feel about it?

The familiar sound of his key in the lock sends shivers up your spine as his heavy footsteps grow closer. He needs to shower, you think, and maybe dry off with a towel. But how could you resist his wet hair, broad shoulders and tapered waist?

Thinking about when Ponyboy wakes up after passing out after Dally’s death, and it’s just him and Darry in the room, and he probably was all wrapped up in blankets and one of his brothers’ sweatshirts, and looking so young and terrified asking Darry if he was going to get taken away, and Darry just saying “I don’t know, baby”, because he doesn’t know, and things are so uncertain that he can’t help but fall back onto the pet name their mother used so often for all her sons, but also i thought about those videos of older siblings calling their little siblings their baby, and thought about that in association with Darry and Ponyboy, and just…

Darry finding out that his baby had been jumped and immediately running to the abandoned lot to find him

Darry seeing his baby in the hospital, and realizing that he was okay

Darry having to put on a smile and reassure his baby that they wouldn’t get separated, and Ponyboy looking up at his oldest brother who gave up everything just to keep them all together, and in that moment, despite everything that had happened, and every unsaid conversation, having complete and utter trust in his big brother.
