Once Upon a Studio Frozen!!!! | Analysis
I'm screaminggg! The teaser trailer for the ' Once Upon a Studio' short looks so amazing, especially with the glimpse of Elsa, Anna and Hans! Okay I knew Elsa and Anna (and Olaf too of course) were gonna be in this but Hans to make even a cameo, I did not expect. It didn't cross my mind at all!
“Do you think all the villains will show up? - Anna
“Not all.” - Elsa [Freezes Hans in the frame]
Haha I love this! This definitely is a hint to something. I mean is it really just a coincidence that Hans makes another cameo and that too with Elsa showing her "despise" for him? I think not! Disney clearly is aware some of us want Hans back and as redeemed, so then why bring him back each time as a reminder of his crimes and how much he's despised by Frohana, especially Elsa? Well my friends, this is deliberate. They want the love - hate relationship dynamic between them because it is the most obvious but perfect dynamic between them. I'm sure some of you have seen movies where this dynamic plays out between couples and it's loved by some so why not use that for Elsa and Hans? I mean think about it, why would they keep showing Elsa showing Hans more hate than Anna has ever seen be showing? Of course Hans actions to Anna, leaving her to die with a frozen heart, would have got to Elsa personally and Elsa can't take him killing her personally because she wanted to die but then you say "it's been more than 3 years, if Anna's gotten over it, why can't Elsa?". Well sometimes when you don't understand why you hate someone more than necessary, it's because it means something else - in particular love.
So imagine if Hans does come back in Frozen 3 and whenever, however, he shows up to the sisters, Elsa would be the first one to make a movie and get her ice powers ready (just like she was when she was just about to attack Bruni), but Anna stops her because well obviously freezing him wouldn't be the right thing to do as it has been a while anyways. Just like how Kristoff was going to deal with Hans but Anna stopped him and punched him herself, though this time I don't think she'll punch him. I mean you would think it's Anna but I'm sure she's well over Hans and all the things he did (not saying she has forgiven him yet) but given the recent Elsa attacks on Hans (in Frozen Fever and now, though non cannon, in the 'Once Upon a Studio' short).
But yeah point being, with all the Elsa Hans content going on, I have a feeling Disney's going for the love hate dynamic between Elsa and Hans. A bond that is urns from hate to love. I have a whole long post, about how Hans could be redeemed and why they need each other, coming up and another one on Hans' role as in 'The Snow Queen'.
I'm secretly hoping for Hans to escape that ice and come out through a different frame but I don't think it'll happen - but then again you never know! 🫣

The global sensation has warmed the hearts of all ages, and both Frozen and its 2019 sequel, Frozen 2, are among the biggest animated films of all time.

Disney Park: World of Frozen update
With just over a month of the opening of the gates of World of Frozen, Disney Parks has released a guide to the World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland.
1. The World of Frozen is split up into two sections
Arendelle Village and Arendelle Forest. The village is where the citizens live and where Frozen Ever After*, Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles, Golden Crocus Inn and Northern Delights. Here is a map of it:
Some landmarks are, Arendelle Castle, Friendship Fountain, Clock Tower Square, the North Mountain with Elsa’s Ice Palace and King Agnarr Bridge (which is named after Anna and Elsa’s father and “Arendelle’s one-time king” and it connects the village to the forest side where Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, Playhouse in the Woods, Forest Fare and Traveling Traders are).
2. Attractions
Some of the attractions are Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs and Frozen Ever after (which in other Disney parks, I think, had Frozen Fever puppets of Elsa and Anna but now they're the iconic Frozen version puppets).
3. Place to eat
Places to eat are the Golden Crocus Inn, Northern Delights and Forest Faire
4. Meeting the characters
Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff (and Sven I assume) and Oaken can be found in the Playhouse in the Woods. This activity is the ”first-of-its-kind” engaging theatrical experience which is located in Arendelle Forest. It features singing, projection mapped content, special effects and sensory elements.
5. Merchandise
A “centuries-old” toy shop in the village has all the goodies to collect and take home, from headbands to Nordic inspired sweaters. There's even a post office called Royal Post of Arendelle, located right outside the shop.
There even is another shop that features key chains, plushies and more.
Summary
This was all the attraction side of stuff so no new lore yet. But to summarize all of what we know so far, the world of Frozen will open its gates on the 20th November this year. The storyline that goes through the park is set a year after the events of Frozen which is called “Summer Snow Day”. Once this opens no doubt I'm sure people will be making posts and reels of this and we must keep our eyes peeled on the story and most importantly hints for Frozen 3. We know from a previous promotional video that Elsa invited Hans' family to make peace with them but Hans was unable to attend due to injuries from the giant snowball in Frozen Fever.

At the weekend, Louis took a walk to the small park near the house to sit down by the frozen creek that was winding its way around the neighbourhood. His father's reaction in the morning about his dance with the nutcracker was still on his mind. He was unsure why he had seemed so disappointed by the story. To Louis, it was one of the most fun things he could have imagined, how could there be anything wrong about it?
His thoughts were interrupted, when he heard voices coming from not too far away. A small family had entered the park on a day out in the snow. Their son was a boy who Louis recognised from school. The boy, who introduced himself as Dayton, was very talkative, even more so than Louis usually was, but it was a welcome distraction.
The kids quickly learned to get along with each other, as they played in the snow, with Dayton's parents watching from nearby. Although the snow made their hands freeze a little, they did not mind. They were simply having too much fun.
Especially Louis was glad to have made a friend. While he liked socialising, he often found himself lost in his dream world, so he would be too distracted pay attention to meet people. The other children at school did not tend to introduce themselves to him, but this boy had, which made things a lot easier.
[TRANSCRIPT]
Louis: *sighs*
(child): "Mummy, Daddy! Look, I'm a pigeon!"
Louis: "?"
(mother): "You make an adorable pigeon, love! Just be careful not to scare the real ones."
(child): "How could I? They're my friends!"
*shuffling through snow*
(child): "Oh, hey! You there!"
Louis: "Do you mean me?"
(child): "I know you! You're Louis, right?"
Louis: "Yep, that's me."
(child): "My name's Dayton. We go to the same school. I'm a year above you, you know?"
Louis: "Right! I've seen you before."
Dayton: "And I know your dad from the cinema, he's famous!"
Louis: "Is he?"
Dayton: "Yep! My parents aren't famous, I don't think. They took me out on this boring walk today. Can I play with you instead?"
Louis: "Sure! D'you wanna build a snowman?"
Dayton: "Absolutely!"

Jason Todd being sold out and lured to his death by his mother, still dying trying to protect her
&
Annabeth Wayne Chase being conscripted by her mother into a quest that her siblings have never once survived in a thousand years, succeeding only to fall into hell anyway as a result.
#I'm just saying between Athena and Bruce#and Bruce and Catherine/Sheila#Jason Todd#is going to be doing a LOT of projecting while he wraps his head around what happened to#Annabeth Wayne#in that AU#like I think it would intensify his desire to step back into her life actually#especially since I generally HC that as like a 6-7 age gap so he would have seen her as a little kid at the manor#but I would be shocked if his own personal issues don't actually hinder him and get in the way once the parallels sink in#his perception of her has been frozen in time as a dead seven year old for a little less than a decade and THEN all of this???#pjo x dc#dc x pjo#Annabeth Chase

immortals whose body did not Quite adapt to the immortality evenly or whose immortality did not take into account everything there is to take.
Immortals with fake teeth, with completely shot sense of taste because tongue cells are fragile and lose sensitivity within a few decades. Immortals whose eyesight's kinda shit. Immortals with bad joints and strain injuries. Immortals with replacement hips. Immortals with so so many surgery scars. Immortals that can't hear as well anymore or at all. Immortals whose immune system hasn't quite held on the entire time, with bone problems, broken noses, worn out or even replaced livers and other organs. immortals subject to time anyway despite being denied the grace of really aging.
Bodies that were not built to go on forever being forced to anyway.
#idk total frozen in time body immortality is not as interesting to me. theres gotta be quirks#especially with ones that were canonically from pre industrialization#you can only hand knead dough and do that one stitch for So Long mr werewolf from the 1400s something's gotta give#imo it also helps define your immortals as a Distinct Age from just 'adult' or even 'regular human old' the anachronism of it all#at least make your immortal sailor man farsighted from staring at the horizon so much idk it adds some much needed texture#its usually hard to truly 'sell' an immortal as one in narrative without copious flashbacks and it's one of those things that really helps#and is sure less research intensive than looking up slang from specific decades lets be real#plus like. if your guy made it through two world wars and no safe surgery unscathed without a Single disability... press x to doubt you kno#also im disabled and i want to see it described like at all in any form because it's dire out there chief esp in genres i actually like

Frozen 3 update from Jennifer Lee | Latest update
Cover created by me
Jennifer Lee made an appearance at the BFI London Film Festival and she gave us an update on Frozen 3, reveals who came up with the idea for Frozen 3 and also teased future Frozen movies and content!! I'm even more excited now!
Here's what she said:
“Every morning last week they carved out space for me to work with the creative team on it, and I am blown away and I am so excited. I don’t know what I’m doing on it yet — I’m not doing nothing — except doing what I do now, which is we work on every project as as team and I’m in there with creative. But with ‘Frozen,’ just a little bit more.”
Jen Lee isn't directing this but instead is working with the creative team on it but doesn't have a specific role yet. She says that she is “blown away” by the work that she does. So clearly she's really excited about Frozen 3, seemingly more than the first two projects. With Frozen 2 we all saw how stressed Jen was in the "Into the unknown: Making of Frozen 2" 6 - part documentary on Disney plus but it seems like Frozen 3 's production is going smoothly and definitely better than the second movie's productions.
“Our philosophy is this, and it won’t change: If there is more story to tell, the filmmakers have to drive it. And I’ll say with ‘Frozen,’ Marc Smith, who was our director of story on ‘Frozen 2,’ came with an incredible idea for more ‘Frozen,’ and it’s worth it.”
“All our stories are driven by the artists in the studio. Where we’re going with Frozen did not come from me. It came from an incredible person. That’s a new piece, I’ve told no one. And it has blown away me and I’m just having a blast with that team."
She also talks about more Frozen and who gave her the idea of expanding the franchise. She and the team make a concept that they'll stick to that if there's more to tell of the story then they'll get the filmmakers to work on it and create another project of Frozen. She reveals that the “incredible idea” for Frozen 3 came from Marc Smith, the story director of Frozen 2, as seen in the documentary, and she says “it's worth it”. So it looks like Jennifer is listening to others ideas and let's them take the lead which is good.
It definitely sounds worth it! She sounds more enthusiastic which is a really good sign and if she believes this will get the story evolving and franchise growing, I'm all in! More Frozen, more me! Frozen 3 sounds big! Bare in mind that is the first trilogy in Disney animation studios. Other Disney trilogies in animation weren't produced by Disney Animation studios themselves.
I'm jumping up at how Frozen 3 is sounding! 😭🥹 I just can't wait! It's definitely living up to its potential. Jen Lee is really excited and bright and so I'm hopeful for the future of the franchise and not looking too much at the context yet as that spoils the excitement. Plus with Frozen's 10th anniversary, Frozen content is confirmed to drop with the run-up to it, so who knows what awaits us.
Here's the link to a couple of the articles that feature Jennifer Lee's quotes:

Absolutely. That's why I'm excited for the movie movies. Jen Lee hasn't been this enthusiastic and excited for Frozen 1 and 2 then about 3. Frozen's concept was entirely changed last minute because of "Let it go", I think, and Frozen 2 had many concept changes with the songs and the story which got Jen stressed. But this time she seems calm and sure about it.
And I know some dislike Jen and I understand why but let's remember that she's not directing. She's going to be involved with it of course because she created the characters in the first place and created the Frozen we know and love. So we are yet to find out who This new director of Frozen 3 and probably 4 will be as they are the one who gave Jen and the team the idea for Frozen 3.
Disney is noticing how much we love the franchise and the potential it has and I want to believe that's why Bob Iger has ordered more Frozen.
We still have so many questions yet to be answered. Who were Kristoff's parents? Is he from the Northuldrian tribe? Will Hans ever return and be redeemed? What's the origin of Troll magic? Are the trolls somehow connected to the Spirits? Etc....
More frozen, more answers (and questions lol) but more happy me. ❄️
About the Frozen IV announcement (cont'd)
Considering that Jennifer Lee commented earlier that she was "blown away" by the concept for the sequel, if that included splitting it in two parts for a more fleshed out story and Disney actually *agreeing* to go forward with it, then it has to be a story that both the studio and the company really believe in 💜
