started a new job recently as a research assistant for a gay Latinx professor in my grad program, and while I definitely don't have the time to be doing my own research, working with this professor on his book projects has been so affirming and healing. i'm working on a book he hopes to publish soon that is full of interviews of gay and trans Latine men...and it is so fucking awesome. I feel so seen by the words I am reading, and I feel tears spring to my eyes looking at the photographs of these men. They look like family members, distant cousins, and family friends. They look so happy and full of confidence. I see myself in their eyes, recognizing the "fish" shape in our eyes that is so distinctly tied to Latines. One of the men in the book is a pup! And it is so beautiful seeing his smile as he holds his pup mask.

I have met very few queer latines. I don't know what it's like to have the tio or tia that has some secret aura to them, that "no se habla" vibes where everyone knows they're queer but just won't acknowledge it. Hell, this professor I'm working with is the first gay Latine man I've ever spoken to. I wish I had a community of gay Latines. I hope I am able to access that one day :)

cloud haetae cookie for who knows how long just living in beast yeast alone beacouse reamber that whole temple they went to in episode three was a trick and not real so before that cloud haetae cookie was just alone a cookie that failed at there job but now they get a second chance to help mystic flour cookie! And in the end cloud haetae cookie gets to beacome flour like everyone else cause they finally did what they where supposed to do.

@cloud-based-and-rainpilled That is such a perfect description and you are honestly not at all wrong...

I think we're so used to Michael being so loud about being thirsty and wanting David so enthusiastically that we forget there are other ways of expressing those emotions. That things like fondness, adoration, and lust can all be conveyed just as loudly in actions as they can in words.

David is so damn soft when it comes to Michael; in how he talks about him in a way he doesn't talk about any other co-stars, the way he brings him up completely unprompted, and how he looks away like you said, looks down and to the side as if he's remembering something. And let's remember that this was in May of last year and he was in Cardiff (despite Georgia trying to convince everyone otherwise), so it's highly likely that he and Michael saw each other during that time.

For me, though, it's especially the other thing you said, which is how serious David is when he says this and "Maybe I should've married Michael Sheen." A lot of folks want to keep saying that he's joking, but the thing is, David jokes about so many things...but Michael is someone and something he seems to take incredibly seriously.

In both of these instances, he doesn't awkwardly laugh off his comments, or qualify them by saying "Just kidding" immediately after. Whatever their relationship may be--whether they've been intimate or not--it's clear that Michael takes up a good part of David's mind and his heart, and David is unafraid to show that now more than ever before...
