I am curious now, why do you call Teldryn "Josh"?

Hi anon! It was a nickname that came from a conversation I was having with a friend who also writes Nerevarine Teldryn Sero. I was still fleshing out his character at the time and started talking about Dunmer names. We kinda started joking that, with the introduction of ESO Teldryn is a more common name. We were comparing it with the super popular names that were around when we were kids and how you always know how they'd act the moment you knew their name. (It's the Kyle punches dry wall and drinks Monster Energy drinks concept essentially). Guys named Josh, we agreed act exactly how I was starting to characterise my Nerevarine Teldryn Sero. It's a Kyle but like he feels bad about it. I started using the tag Danger!Josh to differentiate what I was concepting from the vanilla Skyrim design. There's a small discord server I frequent that started using the name to refer to my specific version around the same time and honestly it just fits him.

Because he's not really the Vanilla NPC anymore, he's something else entirely. I usually say he's inspired by both the vanilla NPC and the Nerevarine since he's a hybrid of the two at this point.

It's also serving as a bit of short hand when I post about him because he's actually got a really long name and several aliases. I usually just write *version*Josh to differentiate what part of his timeline I'm referring to.

Zepotha will never be Goncharov because when it comes down to it, tumblr culture is collaborative, while tiktok culture is merely iterative, and those are not the same thing.
