going through a herpes flare-up, which comes about every 6 months give or take. it feels more shameful than it should.

it was my first serious boyfriend who gave it to me, right as we started dating. i dont remember if he straight up didnt tell me he had it, or if he minimized how contagious it was when i didnt know any better. either way…it makes me feel marked. by a life ive left behind since coming out. by the expectations forced upon me.

and when i look in the mirror and those two sores on my lower lip look back, what i see is a spiderbite kiss of spiritual death. a remnant of a time when i treated my true self as an inconvenience - now a battle scar i wish i never had to get in the first place

There will be a continuation of the story! It’s already drawn, but I don’t know when we’ll post it. But now that I think about it, I don’t think I touched upon how others would be affected by it… Ultimately, it’s not that important to this particular AU? But I feel like poor Epel would probably get in some trouble, but after some questioning, tests and investigation he would be considered innocent. 

For now we’re not planning on drawing anything with the other boys, but like I already said, we love bad endings and we love What Ifs, so anything is possible! What made me want to play around with this particular scenario is the idea of Vil’s life changing drastically after he does that irreversible deed. This, plus I really love seeing him depressed and broken lol

Thank you so much, Anon! <3 Rook is absolutely Vil’s ride or die, he wouldn’t leave him alone in such a difficult situation. Of course that doesn’t mean he isn’t heartbroken because of what happened to Neige… but Rook’s mind is an interesting place, isn’t it? Hehe. I am happy you’re enjoying the comic.

As for vice versa, I can absolutely see Vil potentionally covering Rook’s misdeeds too! There was a short comic on pixiv about Vil seeing Rook covered in blood and not asking any questions, immediately telling Rook not to move so he won’t stain the carpet… I really like this vibe for them as well; maybe we’ll play around with this theme too at some point.

I'm a big nerd. Like, a very big nerd. I do math for fun and I am not ashamed at all when I interrupt someone to correct them (I have autism and ADHD, how could you tell?)

I'm relatively closed off, and most of the time, insecure. I'm shy and I barely ever make the first move (unless I've had a couple of drinks or a lot of eyeliner). I think what people most define me as is the "old soul, young body). I'm like the mom of the group, though I am absolutely reckless when there's another mom in the group, since it takes the responsibility away from me.

I hate going out, and it's really hard to get me to go to the beach, for example. I think my best quality personality-wise is that I'm down to earth and realistic about my goals. A problem is probably how much self-doubt I have, since people constantly tell me I am capable of achieving more than I think I can. I don't settle for seconds, but I'm not too excited when I rech first, because there's always a new competition.

Oh yeah, I'm competitive. Very.

I'm a pessimist, though I like to say it's realism, because why be positive, hype myself up, only for it to go wrong and the disappointment hurt me? As I said, emotionally closed off.

My personality is the infamous black cat, and I think (though I'm not sure), that a golden retriever boy is what would fit me best. (even though I simp for other black cat guys)

For hobbies, I'm boring, though I do have many. I play the guitar, do martial arts (krav maga), draw, sing, write absolutely filthy smut, and, most important of all: do math and study. Yeah, my main hobby is studying.

I'm not sure how I show my love? I don't, usually. I can love someone unconditionally and be absolutely lovesick, but only after a very heavy emotional session, may it be a fight or drinks, will I tell soemone how much they mean to me. I spent the last four years with my best friend, and only after a day's worth of drinking and crying did I tell her how much she meant to me.

I'm a bit icky with physical touch, but if I trust them, I'll let them cling to me. Initially push people away and only after knowing them do I let them hug me, kiss me, cuddle me. I am awful when dealing with compliments, and I cannot take a gift. So probably quality time is my love-receiving language when generally speaking. A boyfriend/husband would probably work with physical touch and words of affirmation, though.

I dont think there's any big turn-off or turn-on in relationships? Maybe not giving me enough attention and helping me emotionally, because I'm easily falling into insecurity, feeling like I'm not enough.

I have like medium curly dark hair and dark eyes. Eyebags, and a lot of moles all over my face. My body is relatively fit? I have a bit of fat ngl but I also have muscles. A bit of a tummy and thicc thighs (they do, in fact, save lives) that double the size when I sit (insecurity alert!) I'm pale, though I am a mixed baby. The students went crazy, not expecting such two different colors: dark and light. Such opposite personalities too, dating. It was odd, yet it intrigued them.

Of course, [Your Name] felt highly embarrassed doing this in public, smacking Changbin's arm. But he couldn't help but smile, even though those two were already dating.

Changbin couldn't help himself, being all extra just for him.

"I don't plan on changing, my love!" He shouts, hugging his boyfriend.

It was honestly cute; people had already gotten used to it and called them the colorful couple. Everyone knows them by that, and I hope someday those two stay together forever.

Sashisu Composite Charts: an Experiment

First of all, this is an experiment..like for real, I am just reaching at straws. Also since as far as I know there are no ways to calculate a composite chart with more than two people, I am doing these analyses in pairs. All three of the charts are very much aspected, but in this case I am only discussing about very tight aspects that have an orb of around 1° or less.

I am ofc approximating the data and I am probably going to make references to my other analyses, so check them out to know more.

ONE THING TO NOTICE: it appears that all three of the composite birth charts lack air placements, which I think is really interesting.

1. Shoko and Gojo

Since they already had any planets after Venus in the same signs and that their other three were just one signs away from each other it was pretty easy to figure out how their composite chart would turn out to be, plus most of the planets fall in the same houses as their personal birth charts anyway.

Ngl I am kinda obsessed with how gloomy and emo it looks, and then there’s that random Sagittarius Mercury...it kinda feels like a joke cracked in the middle of a funeral.

The first aspect here is Pisces Moon squaring Mercury...it feels like them covering their empathetic and emo sides with actual humor. Then there’s that sextile between Capricorn Venus and Scorpio Pluto, which could make them a bit more closed-off and mistrustful against others. Another sextile is between Capricorn Saturn and Scorpio Mars, so let’s just say that if they are going to do something together logic and righteousness may be on their side. 

What really caught my eye is the Cancer Jupiter/Capricorn Neptune opposition. I think it’s a difficult aspect to decipher because I tend to consider Jupiter and Neptune as complementary parts...To make things clear, I think we have to look at what houses they are in. Capricorn Neptune is in the 2nd house, while Cancer Jupiter is in the 8th. Since in the 2nd house there’s also Saturn and Uranus, we could say that maybe they possess (2nd house) innovative ideas (Neptune + Uranus and Saturn), but the means to make them real and successful (Jupiter) come only by joining forces with others (8th house), maybe even by doing so off the books.

It’s also curious how these Capricorn planets in the 2nd house are connected to their Scorpio Mars and Pluto in the 12th, and how then that Jupiter in the 8th house may come into the scene. As I said, planets like Saturn, Uranus and Neptune may make them have the skills (2nd house) to organize a plan, but they may know that if they try to act them out they may risk being exposed/rejected (Mars/Pluto/12th house), so they may prefer to wait until someone gives them support (Jupiter/8th house).

2. Geto and Gojo

The first thing you notice is those six (6) Capricorn planets are at it again, lol.

Also look at that Sagittarius Mars in the 10th, basically unaspected...when I said that Sag Mars gives me big “florida man” energy I am not lying, is it a surprise that the two annoying idiots who broke up in front of a fast food branch have it in their composite chart???

Jokes aside, here I see two important aspects:

- the first one is the opposition between Cancer Jupiter and Capricorn Uranus, which is interesting since these two planets are the rulers of their Sun signs (Sagittarius and Aquarius respectively). And this aspect also happens with Jupiter in the 5th house and Uranus in the 11th...actually, all their Capricorn planets are in the 11th house so we can consider it like a single big opposition...we could say that they had and wanted to have fun and be free-spirited (Jupiter/5th house) BUT society (11th house) got in the way, or it is them that are gonna have a big impact on society.

- the second aspect is the sextile between Scorpio Pluto in the 9th and Capricorn Saturn in the 11th...maybe we can interpret it as both of them trying to change, or better re-start, the fundamental beliefs of how the world (Pluto/9th house) so that society can have new, fairer footings (Saturn/11th house).

3. Shoko and Geto

This is probably the most tricky to analyse because is the one where we have the least material, but let’s do it anyway.

First of all, it’s interesting how it seems to be the most funky since there are the most fire placements. They have a trine between the Aries Moon and the Sagittarius Mars and honestly I’d pay gold to see what this could have been. These are also respectively in the 8th and 4th house (in the latter there’s also Pluto), so maybe that energic bond may have been kept private, heck with the Moon in the 8th they may as well have kept a secret together and I wouldn’t be surprised.

The opposition between Cancer Jupiter and Capricorn Uranus is still very tight, but here it is reversed compared to Gojo and Geto’s. Jupiter here is in the 11th house while Uranus (and all the other Capricorn Placements, and even their Sagittarius Sun and Mercury) is in the 5th. Tbh it looks like a very very complicated situation. A lot of placements in the 5th house can tend to make people childish and self-centered while the 11th house asks us to behave ourselves for the sake of the group...it feels like it’s calling them out for being selfish when they could have done a lot of good.

And then we have a curious aspect, which is the conjunction of their Capricorn Venus and Neptune. You know that when mixing the planet of harmony with the planet of dreams you most probably get idealization...maybe people thought that Shoko and Geto got along easily...but where they, really?

Anyway here is my little experiment, I tried my best even though I acknowledge I barely got any knowledge about composite charts.

Final Ep. Thoughts: Kdeoksjdjsjs, this one really needed to be thirty minutes long, but my god, did they pull off a perfect last few minutes. 

Final Future Thoughts: I might write more on this later, but overall, not only do I think Future was an amazing installment in the series, but it was essential for the incredible work it did in showing the consequences of deep, lasting childhood trauma. That’s not a storyline you often see in media, especially as laid bare as the Crewniverse did with Steven’s story. I think it was a little rushed at times—I would have loved to see some more fallout from the bigger arcs (the shattering/Greg and Steven’s fight/more of Steven’s recovery), but I absolutely understand that the Crewniverse was working with time constraints. It’s an imperfect work, but as our very own Greg Universe said, if every porkchop were perfect... then we wouldn’t have hot dogs.

AN: a request from anon. i feel ive treated this more seriously (and focused perhaps more on the confessions themselves, bc i interpreted ‘crush’ subconsciously as ‘having long-term-feelings for’) than you meant in your request but i hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

Sungjin

“hyuuun, i’m in love please make it stop.” “only way that’s going to happen is if you go tell him.” “...i hate you.”

sungjin... i picture is going to date to marry (or an equivalent if marriage is not for you, as though i get the vibe he’s quite traditional, for the right person he would be very easily convinced), so he takes crushes and confessions quite seriously

probably would feel bad for eavesdropping

then would feel happy that you felt the same way

but then more serious issue of now having to confess would take over

would spend a long time thinking of the best way to do it

would probably settle on a classic walk or cinema/theatre depending on what’s showing

would make damn sure he and you would be alone while confessing—so to save both parties from pressure and embarrassment should things go wrong 

also he’s quite a private guy and would want to let others know on his own and your terms

ngl probably wouldn’t admit he’d overheard you until like... a long time later

it would be under the initial reasoning that he would wait until you were stable so it wouldn’t have too big of an effect

but then he would forget

until it randomly came up in conversation

that would be when he stops himself bc hes like oh shit i didn’t tell her and now two very curious sets of eyes are like staring at him and he’s 98% sure he can’t backtrack at all

and he would just sigh “when i overheard you telling younghyun that you liked me”

and there’d be a moment of silence, followed by laughter 

youngk would be confused, probably, having a surprisingly better recollection that you perhaps would “wait i remember that—how did it take you two months to work out what to do next?!”

and you end up just laughing harder, before noticing the the mix of emotions on sungjins face and reassure him “it doesn’t matter how long it took, we’re together now”

anyway overall sungjin is probably quite serious about it, but it will have a happy ending, you’ve just got to be patient lmao 

Jae

“dowoon, what do i do?” 

jae would be playful about it

after hearing you ask dowoon for advice since hes good friends with him he would be ecstatic, but would try and keep it lowkey

he’d hide out of sight of the doorway he’d passed by to have his little moment

and then he wouldn’t be able to stop smiling

his eyes would keep glancing to you for the rest of the day, even more than usual

but i think he would want to make things more official as soon as possible, as he doesn’t want to waste any time when he could do it sooner and be with you

and so he’d ask if you had a spare moment on the day or so, and take you some place quiet

not necessarily his room, more likely just outside the front door in the warm summer air

and ngl i think he would totally pull the “i think you know why i summoned you here today”

of course, yall have no idea, but you’re used to his occasional crackheadery—otherwise why would you crush on him so hard? “not a bit, but if its a trip to get snacks you don’t even have to ask, i’m in”

“well, that is a plan for later... depending on how this goes”

that’s the point where you would get confused and begin to wonder if something is up, but hel’l continue “i found out something really cool today yn.”

he would laugh but shake his head, “nah even better” and that would give you the heads up that this was serious, and it would occur to you that he might have overheard something

but it becomes obvious when he follows with “a little bird... told me that someone, likes someone else, in our group. our friendship group.”

you briefly consider panicking, as the whole thing could still be construed as him not liking you back, but you put on a brave face and push through, “oh really? who?”

“that’s the problem, i don’t know, but i was wondering if you did.”

the chance was clear for anyone to see, and seeing the glimmer of hope, you seize it “well, i know someone who likes you... but i’m not sure if its mutual, so that might be why they haven’t said”

“if it’s who i think it is, then it definitely is... mutual” he would admit

and that would be the closest the two of you ever got to literally word-for-word confessing, because out of nerves neither of you would probably be able to admit it at the crux of the moment

however, like in all the movies idc if its cliche you would gravitate towards each other, and that would be the moment where you both recognised your feelings as well as shared your first kiss together

ok i’m going to stop before i combust 

anyway as for whether he’d admit he’d overheard you, he would probably be quite quick to the chase on that one too, probably right after the kiss and you’ve spoken about it a bit more, he’ll probably just say “i kind of accidentally overheard you telling dowoon, please don’t be mad at me”

but how could you be, you’d gotten what you wanted after all

in conclusion, jae is lighthearted about it and woudn’t waste any time

Younghyun

right off the bat our youngk is a songwriter

he probably finds a lot of inspiration out of love

and so his feelings for you coalesce to create love songs that he may or may not use in the future

anyhow, it means that to cope with his feelings he’s probably half composed something small where he admits them 

with little intention of you probably ever hearing it at all

or at least, not without big chunks edited and names changed/cut

but when he overhears you rambling to wonpil who doesn’t mind the sappiness a characteristic you probably got off our brian anyway with his occasional borderline emo-ness

he’s grateful to his past-self for starting it, and realises that maybe its time to finish it

so it’ll take a week or so for him to finally confess

bc even though hes a bit of a flirt, i don’t see him wanting to tarnish love, since he owes it so much and its not fun to play with someone’s heart, especially not yours

walking straight in when he accidentally overhears you to ask right there and then

like, you’re probably pestering talking to sungjin in the kitchen or another equally frequented place, so it was likely that someone was going to overhear anyway 

and maybe that was part of sungjins plan dont put it past him

but also it meant wonpil got further into the room the hunt for sustenance spurring him on, you know how it is before he caught onto what was being said, thus making it harder to back out

thus sungjin knew he’d overheard, but you with your back to the door were still clueless

and would’ve stayed that way had wonpil not continued and straight up asked or sungjin not said anything, which lets face it by this point he was really considering doing

he would be really excited about hearing that the feelings were mutual, and you were right there so what harm was really being done if he did just straight up waltz in?

as soon as you heard his small “you like me too?” you would whip around 

aaand that would be sungjin’s cue to leave

the words you would exchange would be in a soft flurry of emotion tbh, out of disbelief but excitement for the future

would feel guilty over accidentally eavesdropping, and this would reflect in his shyness later

however, he decides to run with the silver lining of having the chance to be prepared for tomorrow

and so he would not say a word and try and act natural

especially when you ask him if he wants to go out somewhere with you the next day

he’s not sure how he did, he tried to hide his ears as best he could but he was also well aware you knew him too well

when the next morning rolls around, he’s up early, getting ready in nice clothes that he hopes aren’t suspiciously too nice

and then he waits, trying to calm is nerves, before realising that maybe ignorance is bliss

when the time comes and you make your way to the cafe, he finds it difficult to act surprised, but also to try and keep his breath steady

finally, near the end, after asking if he had a good time and wanted to come back, you confess you liked him and it’s as if a weight lifts off his shoulders

he would kiss your cheek soon after, without much warning, out of relief and joy and nerves and a whole lot of else

and you’d probably pull him in for a proper kiss by his collar as soon as you’re sure he’s ok with it

and then the fact he eavesdropped would be a secret that he would die with

I’m a proud leftie! 🖐 I don’t know about other places, but over here, they used to call it “skew handed” and kids were forced to learn writing with their right hand at school or face punishment. One of my pet agendas is correcting everyone who still calls it “skew handed” lol. “Skewed” means something isn’t as it should be, but lefties aren’t wrong, just different.

Style... I suppose everyone has a style, but my knee-jerk reaction is still to say I don’t. “I don’t spend much time/effort on it” is probably more correct to say. As with so many other things, I like a myriad of styles and could honestly go for (a good bunch of) anything. But it ends up being necessity-based. Whatever costs little and serves a purpose (like the homeless-gloves I bought at 14, with cut off finger tips. They don’t do me any favors what adult integrity is concerned, but they keep my hands warm while I also can use my phone). I keep thinking “when I look good enough, I’ll invest in something stylish that lasts”. But that day ain’t today. I was an edgy teen, though, ngl. I tried dressing frilly for a bit but then Megaming came along and reminded me of the emo king I was meant to be 😂 Don’t judge.

I don’t have any pets. My dad is allergic to fur in general so all I had as a kid was goldfish (which I loved a bunch). The plan was always to get a cat when I moved out and felt ready. And I thought I was going to be last year, but then I babysat my best friend’s cat for the summer and I realized even a cat is too much stress for me (I’ve got mental health boo-boos). So I had to accept that I don’t have the strength to take care of anyone other than myself yet. Maybe some day? The idea was: step 1 - cat. Step 2 - advance to dog. Training complete. Now ready for step 3 - baby adoption. I love kids and I want to give some a good home some day. But I have to wait until it’s responsible to do so.

In the meantime, Armin’s my only son :’)

me watching Free! Eternal Summer

Okay okay okay I know I should be sleeping because we're driving to the beach in the morning but I really wanted to check out the first episode of Free! Season 2 and OMG sooooo the intro theme song showed this new guy who seems to be on Rin's team and, ahem... He's rather very good looking 👀 Best looking boy so far, and that's saying something because you got Haru and Rin and even lowkey Rin's ex-team captain so...yeah. Welp I'm looking forward to this season 😁

So I believe I've watched up to Episode 4 now, and I know I haven't been commenting recently but sometimes I just wanna watch without any journaling interruption :P But okay so far OMG, so Rin's friend Sousuke (the big tall buff good-looking guy) is kind of a jerk, I mean I get that he was friends with Rin first back in elementary and ngl, I'd feel slighted too of my old best friend abandoned me for some new kids. But he doesn't have to be such a...jerk about it.

AND HE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ALL POSSESSIVE EITHER 👀 👀 👀 👀

Hahahahaha yeaaahhh, so there's legit like this friend-triangle going on where Sousuke is acting all possessive over Rin and then there's Haru who's just happy to have his Rin back in his life and there's Rin who's just the It boy it seems who cares for both friends and is totally oblivious to the battle going on over him 😏😆 And am I loving it?? Absolutely yes.

I just...ugh I just love the dynamic between Rin and Haru, and though high-school Rin isn't my favorite anime character, elementary-school Rin IS and idk why but I love the idea of everyone loving and wanting him and just ugh I love that aloof, expressionless Haru gets all emo over Rin like Rin is his bestest friend without him actually ever being his bestest friend, like Haru secretly admired Rin so much and was inspired by him and came to love him though Haru, being the non-emotional-don't-show-feelings guy and kid he is, never indicated how he felt about Rin and UGHHH the feels in this show are too much.

Elementary school-Rin literally is one of my most favorite characters ever in anime, I love him so much; he's like a shining light to the world.

Anyways, gonna check out the next ep! (aaaaand I'm actually really exhausted and have to run errands tomorrow, so maybe I'll just be going to sleep, idk :P)

Episode 6

OMG...is Makoto starting to question whether he's Haru's best friend anymore in comparison to Rin???!?! I'm like sad but also like eeeeeeek because I literally love RinHaru so much but I also love Makoto and don't want him to be sad :(((( He hinted at it when Nagisa asked him why he competed against Haru, and Mako said that he just wanted to try a serious race against Haru...but then, while watching Rin and Haru standing next to each other chatting after their race, with wistful eyes added, "I’m not sure. Was I jealous of Rin?" ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

And then Sousuke had a similar look in his eyes when Rin was talking about Haru beating him in their race. Methinks these friends are feeling like Haru and Rin have this special bond/connection with each other, and like they're being left out in a way.

Idk, this is just my initial impression without thinking too deeply into it.

I have some things to say but I'm too tired and wanna figure out what the heck season 3 is all about (and my eyes are about to fall out of my head because yet again, I pretty much binged the entire season yet again 😵💀💤)

IN SUMMARY...

Okay, so let me talk a little bit about Season 2.

So yeah, I enjoyed it, and I absolutely LOVE my bois so much <333, but I'll admit, it wasn't as emotionally intense as Season 1. Yeah, Haru had a couple of meltdowns with his whole "I don't know what I want to do in the future so stop trying to force me to choose a dream" personal drama, but outside of that there wasn't too much interpersonal drama, not like in Season 1 :( And honestly, that’s what sucked me into this anime, as I was livinggg for all the emo drama between Haru and Rin lol.

But it felt like this season lacked in that department. Of course, it makes sense since Rin has already reconciled with the others, but I guess I expected to see more of elementary-school Rin in high-school Rin, but there were only hints of little Rin in older Rin :/ Still love Rin ofc (my boyyyy) but he wasn't as charismatic, as outgoing and idealistic and happy and shining as his elementary-school self :( And I guess I was expecting that, so maybe in a way I set my own self up.

But back to the RinHaru lack, like don't get me wrong there was a ton of RinHaru-ness (I mean, Australia) but it wasn't as emo and intense as last season's. I wanted Rin and Haru to spend more time together, to see more of that need they had for each other that they had in Season 1. But it just…lacked. And not gonna lie, I'm sad about it :( I want Haru to need Rin and Rin to need Haru, and yeah we already know they do, but I want them to show it. I want HARU to show it.

(I want to indulge in my feels some more lol.)

And now that they're in totally different countries in Season 3, my RinHaru heart is so frustrated, like there better be some texting/skype calls/letter writing/something between these two because y’all can’t just give us all that emo angsty “YOU WILL SWIM FOR ME” “I WANT TO SWIM WITH YOU” “I KNOW WHO I SWIM FOR” “LET ME SHOW YOU A SIGHT YOU’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE” drama and then separate the two after you spent an entire season telling us how much they need each other like, come on KyoAni! You’re killing me here!

I wonder if this means we won’t be getting much RinHaru in season 3?? Rin is in Australia while Haru is going to college in Tokyo (as well as Makoto, so happy for you babe!). If Rin is the one who lights a fire in Haru when swimming and vice versa...how're they supposed to do that 4k+ miles away from each other? I’m hoping KyoAni’s got something up their sleeve because RinHaru was the very reason I fell for this anime, please don’t deprive me now!

Season 3 also has some old-but-new characters come in: Haru and Makoto’s old middle school swim teammates. And apparently there will be drama there, while some new character comes into Rin's life and there's a story there, too. Not to be such a fangirl, but…I don't want them only interacting with new characters and then having separate stories from each other; call me greedy (because when it comes to RinHaru, I totally am, no shame) but I want RinHaru, not Rin in his own world and Haru in his.

Anyways, I'm going to watch the OVAs and then the middle school movie before starting Season 3. Maybe those "new" characters in Season 3 will be in the middle school movie, and then we'll get some story set up for Season 3. Also, I think it's absolutely hilarifreakinous that at the beginning of all this I literally was like, “Meh, gonna check this anime out, don't expect to fall for these characters like I did with Haikyuu*" and yet here I am with elementary-school Rin as my best boi after Levi and my first ever anime ship ahahahaha funny how the cookie crumbles 🙂

*note: I still love Haikyuu more overall, for I fell hard for the entire friggin volleyball team, not just two three characters (Gou is best girl, Gou >>>> Haikyuu girls), but I definitely feel more emo towards Rin and RinHaru and I really like Gou. I don't think I'd even really consider Free! one my top animes in regards to overall story 'cause it's honestly not all that remarkable, but the characters; I just love and little Rin is definitely one of my favorite anime characters ever, GAH I LOVE HIM SO MUCH 😭   edit 8/20/20 - pfftskdjkkklds wow how naive I was lollllll (I still love Karasuno OFC, but as of now I've been more emotionally involved by and absolutely obsessed with RinHaru than I have with Karasuno, but it doesn't necessarily mean I love one over the other. its wild how they didnt really delve into the whole ‘war crimes’ thing w/the hunter association lmao. idk if this movie is canon so that might be why....they just brushed over the fact that the HA was like, running concentration camps and murdering entire groups of people. wild 

this movie was fun!! it felt more like hxh than the last movie, which v much felt like a generic anime movie. this one felt more in character. it did fall into typical anime movie tropes sometimes but the characters felt more like themselves here, espec w/the point of the story this seems to be set at 

like gons anger and all that - while it obvs comes from a place of love and kindness, he can get carried away sometimes...i feel like we’re gonna rlly delve into the negative impact of this in the CA arc and i am both so ready and not ready at all

-oh this poor kid. he has no clue what to do, it sort of hit him out of nowhere one day; that he realised he really REALLY liked you, like a lot!! more than a friend (i think ichiro is the type of person who would only really fall for someone he considers a friend first, so u gotta be his friend before u can suck his dick ok)

-he can’t stop thinking about you, especially when he’s reading those light novels of his. he can’t help picturing the two of you in the same situations as the main love interests and he keeps!! blushing and having to stop reading because it makes his heart so soft but he’s so embarrassed 

-every time he sees you he can feel his heart sort of..squeeze or ache in some way, he finds it hard to hold back his feelings because he’s usually so honest and affectionate but he really doesn’t want to ruin your friendship.

-jiro and saburo notice he’s been acting differently recently, he’s been a little more easily distracted and he seems especially jumpy when you come around…honestly they can probably tell what’s up, i think they’d try to get you two alone but they simultaneously facepalm when ichiro still says nothing and just keeps staring at you when you’re not looking (sometimes you notice but you don’t think much of it)

-he would probably imagine some different romantic confession scenario each night. before he goes to sleep he lies there and he imagines various (impossible) ways his confession to you would go. it’s all really cliche but he’s having the time of his life before he goes to sleep and probably dreams about it too

-bruh ichiro is so whipped like.,he’d drop anything to help you if you needed it. he’s such a sweetie and even you notice he’s been doing more to help than usual lately. please remind him to take care of himself, i feel like he needs someone to do that for him sometimes

-it takes time, a lot of longing glances at you and he probably even sighs wistfully while reading manga, but eventually he’ll gather up the courage to tell you how he feels. he’s planned some impossibly elaborate scenario, but one day when you guys are just hanging out on one of his days off playing video games or something (GOD I WISH THAT WERE ME…THIS BITCH Y/N IS OUT HERE LIVING THEIR BEST LIFE) he just sorta..lets it slip that he really likes you. 

-he would definitely only ever say it in person. he thinks that doing it via message/text is sort of an easy way out and what sort of person would he be if he did that?? he’s gotta gather up the courage just like his favourite main characters have done so many times!!

-so he’d tell you, and if you accept him he’d be SO HAPPY i think he’d almost cry. he’d give you the biggest, softest hug ever and you’d probably have to tell him to stop squeezing so hard but!!! aah!! he’s so so happy that you return his feelings and he doesn’t even care that you guys technically wasted time with all the moments he couldn’t bring himself to say anything

-when dice finds out he has feelings for you, he really doesn’t know what else to do. there’s evidence that he actually doesn’t think that highly of himself (..im lookin at you hypmic manga + stella lyric video), so he would probably be content to be around you in any way, even if it isn’t romantic, because he’s just so happy and kind of astounded you want to be around him as much as you do at all

-he isn’t very obviously like this, though, it’s just thoughts he has sometimes so you don’t notice anything, but they’re still there. he doesn’t think you’d want to date someone like him, after all, he’s a bit of a screw-up, right?(NO HE ISNT..DICE IS BABEY) he’s only 20, and yet he’s already made so many bad decisions…

-and he finds himself enjoying your company even more than usual, he really does love you so much and he isn’t used to feeling this way! his chest hurts when he thinks about you, and he just sees your hand and wants to hoLD IT SO BADLY but he can’t bring himself to say anything

-he’s always been a little clingy towards people who are kind to him, but you notice he’s been like that even more than usual. he doesn’t even beg money from you like usual, he’s just…there, a lot. not that you mind, in fact you welcome his company, you just notice that difference

-he stays with you a lot, and you guys still have just as much fun together as you always did! he’s great to be around, he’s really lighthearted even if he gets riled up easily, and maybe you start to notice this light, fluttery feeling when he’s around too..but you brush it off as just general enjoyment of his presence

-it’s one day, after he’s had a particular lucky streak down at the slot machines, that he feels that wave of dopamine hit and just rushes to your place, excited at all his winnings, and accidentally-on-purpose (he’s aware of what he’s doing, he just can’t really control his mouth lol) tells you how he feels in a big rush of excitement (probably like “AND I THINK I WON CAUSE I’VE BEEN AROUND YOU A LOT!! YOU’RE LIKE MY LUCKY CHARM!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH Y/N!!”

-you’re like “uhh..ok what?? bruh moment” as he keeps going, then he realises what he said and COMPLETELY STOPS, he’s speechless for a good few seconds, before he turns pretty red and starts pacing around the room ranting about how it wasn’t supposed to go like that!!! he wasn’t supposed to say anything because there’s no way you’d wanna be with someone like him!!

-and then you go over to him to calm him down, take his hand in yours and assure him that actually, you do want to be with him. you tell him you’ve liked him for a while now too, but you’d only figured it out recently, and he’s just so shocked that his brain stops working for a moment and he looks like “…” but as a person

-and then he gets the biggest, cheesiest dice-grin on his face and gives you a BIG BIG BONE-CRUSHING HUG, spins you around, and says he loves you over and over while you laugh and cry simultaneously because you think he’s about to snap your spine

-after that’s over, you tell him that he shouldn’t think of himself as trash or anything; sure he’s like the definition of bad decisions, but you don’t care because he’s an honest, kind person whose company you genuinely enjoy, and even if he gambled all his clothes and everything else he owns away, you’d still wanna be with him because you feel the same, you love him

-he’s so happy! he feels luckier than he ever has in his entire life, his day has gone so well and he has the best sleep (by your side, ofc) he’s had in a long time

Doppo

-a nervous wreck..you think he’s bad normally?? he’s 100 times worse now that he’s realised he likes you in a romantic way

-he’s REALLY OBVIOUS!! poor man :^( he stutters while he’s talking to you (more than usual), he blushes BRIGHT RED when asking you anything, he’s fidgeting SO MUCH like his hands are shaking (knees weak palms sweaty mom’s spaghetti), and sometimes he can’t even bring himself to greet you when he sees you because he’s just too afraid of screwing up and making you hate him (as if you could ever..doppo is amazing)

-everyone within a mile radius can tell how he feels. hifumi almost tells you himself before doppo smacks him straight across the face and tells him to shut the hell his mouth before apologizing profusely to you and dragging mr hifoomi away for a severe talking to about Social Boundaries (then apologizes for giving him the smack and pats him on the head. i love their friendship)

-he’d go out of his way to see you at least once a day, even if he can’t always bring himself to talk to you and even if it means he gets home a little later than usual. he feels horribly creepy just watching you, but his heart is fluttering so much and his chest is aching so badly he can’t do much more than that, no matter how much he wants to go over to you

-he will NEVER confess purposely. his self esteem is so cripplingly low he’s convinced you don’t even like him that much anyway, let alone return his feelings, and he thinks him confessing would just make you despise him, so he never says anything and just remains stuck in this horrible loop

-one day, however, he’s had the shittiest day in a while (at least, it stands out compared to others), and you invite him over for dinner (it’s been a while, after all!). he thinks, why not? how could this day get any worse? at least he’ll get to see you, even if he makes a big fool of himself and you end up hating him. at least it’ll all be over in one day

-you’re actually a little nervous yourself. you really like doppo, and you had plans to say something to him yourself this evening. you didn’t want to give him a nervous breakdown, however, so you had this whole thing planned out where you’d give him the most relaxing dinner possible so he’d at least be in a relatively normal state of mind so you could tell him your feelings

-well!! spoiler alert, it doesn’t end up like that. doppo, more anxious than usual, keeps slipping over his words and keeps muttering under his breath, and you can only seem to calm him for a max of 5 minutes at a time before he’s at it again. you manage to get through dinner fine, in fact it’s really pleasant, but after that he doesn’t know what to do and ends up biting his nails on your couch while you tidy up

-he says it accidentally. he didn’t mean for you to hear it, but he says that he loves you and you almost drop the plate you’re holding in shock because!! no way! he feels the same? and you turn around and he’s got this absolutely devastated look on his face because he’s convinced he’s just ruined your entire relationship

-you rush over to him before he can start apologizing and self-deprecating again (he gets a few out before you reach him) and you pull him up off the couch and into your arms because boy does he look like he needs a hug right now. you stroke his hair and reassure him that you feel the same! in fact, you were planning on confessing to him yourself at some point tonight, but he beat you to it! you congratulate him on being brave enough to say it aloud, even if it was an accident

-doppo’s in shock. he doesn’t know what to say, but he loves the feeling of your hand stroking his hair and leans into it, unable to believe his luck. he probably starts crying as soon as his emotions catch up to him because he’s SO RELIEVED, that was so stressful for him, and he’s not sure if he’s felt this happy in a long time

-he calls hifumi and tells him he’ll be out for the night, before he decides to stay over at your place for the night (screw work, he’ll call in sick) and maybe talk to you about nice things while he falls asleep. he’s wanted this for so long and you’re more than happy to have him over to talk things out properly (and also try to lift his spirits a little. poor man needs a break)

-and now u guys r dating and it’s wholesome and pleASE GIVE HIM ALL UR LOVE HE NEEDS IT!!

some of my reactions to/thoughts on the new BNHA OVA (”Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training”) because i was thoroughly amused by it, flaws and all:

now everybody in the condiment trio has latched onto bakugou at one point or another. people in this series just love invading bakugou’s personal space.

:) (*also, totally forgot about that all might statue in the background... subtle...)

thought it was sweet that bakugou was smiling at kirishima here! though, and maybe it’s just me, his smile looks a little uncanny, like it’s something that’s not supposed to occur naturally in nature. poor bakugou—even when he’s trying to smile genuinely it still doesn’t look quite right.

oh my fucking god, he fucking dead. 

gee, i wonder where bakugou is...

ngl, i had to pause the episode here and take a moment to collect myself even though my dumbass knew bakugou was going to be just fine. something about seeing bakugou injured like that (bleeding leg and all) shook me up a bit (i can only imagine my reaction when it happens for real 🙄). i’m wayyy too emotionally invested in this gremlin...

deku: “kacchan! kacchan, wake up! speak to me!!!”

bakugou: (suddenly shoots up awake like he was pretending to be unconscious all along for dramatic effect)

this scene was so melodramatic and i for one was all onboard. the way deku practically crawled on top of bakugou in despair was gold. todoroki standing there with his arms crossed like he’s waiting for them to be finished. bones was well aware of what they were doing here, that’s for sure...

you’re not subtle at all, are you bones?

deku: “come one, kacchan! admit that you care!”

bakugou: “erghh, grumble grumble, it was all for the exercise, harumph.”

when i heard that this OVA was going to be set right before the provisional licensing exam, meaning that it was post-Kamino and pre-DvK2, i was curious to see whether or not we’d see more signs of Bakugou’s affected mental state. turns out, the answer is kinda no, other than Bakugou having a flashback to all might fighting all for one at kamino (and using it to justify going to save the dummy citizen, claiming that all might would go and save it despite it not being a real person and there being REAL people at risk here, a.k.a. bakugou himself, yada yada). i do like how they used this to re-emphasize what bakugou was doing during the actual license exam—trying to focus on saving instead of fighting because he was having doubts about idolizing all might just for his ability to always win (makes it all the more tragic when he still fails...).

and i do think it’s possible that this moment here, where bakugou has to convince himself to be “saved”/helped by deku, is similar to the one at kamino where bakugou decided to grab kirishima’s hand. something about the way he acts in this scene and how he looks here seems more dejected than angry. likes he’s just disappointed in himself. or maybe i’m overthinking it. but i gotta love how u.a. just has to make this training scenario another replication of bakugou’s trauma at kamino (everyone else made it out safely except for one person? hmmmm....). no wonder bakugou wants to save that dummy. doesn’t really explain why aizawa’s okay with it though...

other fun tidbits i enjoyed:

todoroki + tokoyami team-up. such an interesting duo we’ve never really gotten to see before. the quiet emos gotta stick together.

why do i feel like they sat there in silence for ten minutes straight.

bakugou and deku both having the same plan to get out of the mall, despite not even being in the same place, to the point that they finish each other’s sentences/thoughts. bakudeku on the same wavelength. i love to see it.

bakutododeku just being among the smartest in the group. it might annoy people who feel like the other students constantly get shafted for the next big three(?), but considering that they’re among my favs, i can’t complain. also bakutododeku getting endangered and generally being the center of the episode(s). thank you for the food.

*mall is collapsing and on the brink of potentially killing all the students inside* bakugou: “but the exercise!” aizawa (watching from outside): “eh, they’ll be fine.” me: *don’t think about it don’t think about it don’t think about it*

and you get some ship fuel! and YOU get some ship fuel! everybody gets some ship fuel!!!

as per the usual bnha OVA formula, there were quite a few logical inconsistencies, character flubs, and just plain stupid plot stuff, among other things, scattered throughout this OVA, but that’s just about what i expected, so i don’t care to get into it. i managed to turn off my brain for 40 minutes to enjoy this at least, but i get if other people didn’t like it or were frustrated by it. bones made sure to hit all the major ships and popular characters, which may have satisfied me, but it’s disappointing for fans of anyone who isn’t bakusquad or dekusquad (and iida... poor iida can’t catch a break). all in all, i had fun!

issue #23 made me really heccin’ emo over eggman and sonic. i was prepared for it, but also ?? not prepared??? holy frick im just gonna ramble under the cut.

first of all, i’m just gonna’ idly ramble about some things i noticed.

Eggman, literally 11 issues ago:

he makes these off remarks and then changes his mind whenever it’s convenient for him smh. that or hes a freaking liar and. WELL THAT’S PRETTY TRUE HONESTLY.

i’ma be honest fam starline is a freaking mood rn. it’s ?? so dumb?? LIKE EGGMAN WHERE IS YOUR FUCKING FAILSAFE UR SOLUTION WAS “not touching the robots hurr durr” PL EASE.

In retrospect, though, this is an interesting parallel to Forces because he’d apparently learned from his mistakes. TBF, and it has been brought up elsewhere on tumblr, this is a man recovering from amnesia. He must’ve just not gotten to that part. OR HE’S JUST. DUMB AND ARROGANT. Like, yeah, sure, there’s no vaccine - lol the heroes can’t fix anything & it also means you’re valuable because you’re the one person who can. BUT COME ON EGGMAN.

my friend actually predicted this holy shit. i was rambling abt a discussion we had in the egg cult, where we were talking about the possibility of sonic infecting eggman to blackmail him into getting the cure because he’s reached the point?? hes so done with eggman’s shit??? all his friends are in danger and hes backed into a wall what else is he to do than do the one thing he doesn’t want to: use eggman’s tactics against him?

and my friend was like:

LIKE. IT IS A HUGE RISK, and Sonic went FOR IT. I’M SCREAMING TBH.

THIS CONFRONTATION WAS SO FUCKING RAW YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND. I thought I was ready for it but I really, REALLY wasn’t. I love the little details of Starline bein’ like: “oh fuck” - usually he’s pretty cocky around Sonic but uh. HE’S INFECTED NOW. And the zero remark - idk if that’s intentional on the writer’s part but ZERO TO HERO anyone?

anyway toxi broke down crying at this point. you have no idea how much i was sobbing over my blue son just. pouring out his heart to his nemesis. that’s top tier tearjerking material.  also starline passive aggressively readjusting his outfit lmfao. BITCH IM FABULOUS. but man the usage of ‘ BE’ and ‘LIKE’ - Sonic knows who Eggman is; he’d never ask him to be something he’s not. but it’s also a reiteration of sonic’s want to see good in him; being LIKE tinker is a statement in that he wanted eggman to be who he was, but NOT to go back. to do good for the world. have it be his own decision, because deep deep down:

isn’t that what he really wants?

Also, although there are those sickly sweet descriptions, the usage of ellipses in this narrative really fucks me up because you can practially hear the gradual realization in eggman’s voice. his mockery starts out so !!! but it just eventually gets straight to the point, as a list. as a routine. because he was used to it. and because, some part of him misses it. notice the usage of ‘need’ and ‘use’. they needed him, and yet he used the people that appreciated him sm like puppets.

ALSO I SPENT LIKE, HOURS TRYING TO FIND THIS EXACT DIALOGUE, but Eggman has a conversation in Dark Brotherhood with Sonic and makes this remark:

LIKE??? this isn’t new to his character, actually? Ignoring the ken penders thing bc smh. Going by this game he’s actually kind of okay with that set up. And he just works so well with the others too??? this isn’t even taking into account the other games he’s teamed up with them. I’m sorry but my head just goes back to this line so many times; it’s one of the ones that stick with me, along with ‘complicated guy’ from lost world. HE COULD!! legitimately do good. and he actually doesn’t find it too bad??? IM EMO MAN...

and IMAGINE making super cool things that people genuinely like... eggman has a HUGE ego, that much is very apparent; he’s super big on appreciation as comes with. and with tinker? he had that - he felt appreciated and loved. people LIKED what he made, and he didn’t have to bend over backwards to have that. his work felt included and he didn’t have to take that appreciation by force like he did with his lackeys (which half the time was fake anyway) .

first and foremost - WE SEE THAT OPEN YOUR HEART REFERENCE, IDW. also sonic’s frustration here, in comparison to the lil smile the panel before - he’s just!! “WHY CANT YOU WAKE THE FRICK UP OLD MAN”. the justification here seems a tad bit like DENIAL to me. and the justification seems... kind of odd from him? since when does EGGMAN justify anything he does? He does what he wants and when he wants, because he’s the E.G.G.M.A.N. he doesn’t care what anyone thinks... right?

it’s because - especially with the usage of better - he didn’t like where that train of thought was going. for once, he’s justifying himself - because the alternative is admitting sonic is right. that he did like that life. that he’d want to go back. throw it in a hierachy and it’s all so simple, right?

also the inclusion of open your heart lyrics here. the incident with chaos was just as catastrophic. and these lyrics in context of the previous panel, highlights how sonic and eggman both seek unity and peace but in their own ways; eggman’s is just evil. it seems a little bit of a diversion to me - to antagonise sonic and make him forget about it. what better way to do that than to relate to him? ‘own styles that we won’t change’ highlights a stubbornness in ways, too, especially with the current context of eggman denying his old life. ALSO IT IS LITERALLY TELLING EGGMAN TO OPEN HIS HEART.

and ngl this seems like idle banter to hide the fact he genuinely felt remorse for his actions for a second. because lbr he has a habit of being all talk when a plan goes wrong or suffering inside,

which starline does quite pointedly explain.

As I was saying above, Sonic has no choice in what to do now - he’s reaching his limit. OR ELSE. hes pondering doing the thing he doesnt want to do. and honestly, ‘you can’t stop me. no one can,’ is so hardhitting not just because of its looming threat, but because of how much it solidifies for sonic that he can’t take the chance anymore. if anyone is going to change eggman, it has to be himself.

also can i just cry over how much sonic trusts tails. im getting sa2 flashbacks.

also man i’d like to point out the specific use of ‘lock you away forever’. it coooould be a reference to sonic’s time imprisoned during the events of sonic forces. bitterness?

NOT SAYING I CALLED IT, BUT I CALLED IT. it still hurts though. and wow, it really is horrifying when eggman fears his own heccin’ creation, huh?

i live for sonic being passive aggressive with eggman. give me more please.

im immensely concerned the direction starline is going, honestly. but it does say a lot about eggman; how he’ll keep trying the same things expecting different results, but failing and never seeing that. because he’s EGGMAN; every plan is brilliant by default!

i love how sonic just !!! SHOT... THE MOMENT HE WAS REMINDED WHAT WAS AT STAKE. son i love you so much you’re doing great sweetie

also, man, can we talk about eggman avoiding his blatant faults, and shoving his failures onto someone else? because this little scene here - eggman ur literally the one who crashed the thing. it had absolutely nothing to do with sonic. i feel as though this is symbolism of his self-destructive nature, honestly. hes always gotta make things harder for himself. (also starline’s face is killing me)

Eggman does what he has to, but technology won’t work every time you kick it. he thinks he can get everything through force but we have several instances in idw where force did NOT work out; you’re not gonna get far, egghead.

MHM, and just who does that sound like, Eggman? honestly the mirrors between these two are seriously destroying me. although sonic is in a horrible position, so is eggman; he likes to think he’s won the war, but hes surpassed his own expectations, and that’s going to backfire on him eventually. hes stubborn to admit he has NO REIGN over this and they’re all doomed, so he’s pinning his failures / loss on Sonic.

is that the amnesia kicking ya in the shin, eggman? or sonic’s reality check? either way, the doc hates emotions. dammit man why you gotta make him emo

future eggman is going to kick past eggman in the kneecaps. it’s times like this ur reminded how much of a kid he is. eugh but that’s work i want my victory and senseless destruction now. honestly if the doc is after success, he is certainly not getting it this way and I AM FEARING FOR EVERYONE’S LIVES. he’ll probably have to work with what’s left of the resistance like the back end of most games at some point.

I’m getting a little burnt out but i can’t forget my son and how much he hurts me.

first of all that third panel terrifies me. the fact it GOT that far does me great concern. the RED EYES? that’s pushing it fam i dont like that. the expressions are also just freaking destroying me; they’ve been PERFECT this issue. and the fact sonic is at his weakest when he feels like he’s failed everyone hurts me deeply. he has SO much on his shoulders and its getting too overwhelming for him.

also man... the whole thing with eggman... just stuff me man. but it hurts all the more because it’s so glaringly clear that there is?? some good in eggman??? he just. doesn’t want to admit it. and unfortunately these aren’t good circumstances to debate on that.

ANYWAY, THAT ISSUE WAS AGONY AND IM STILL REELING AND HAVENT EVEN. TALKED ALL THAT MUCH ABOUT SONIC HERE (on account of this being eggman’s blog) but idk if i’ll write anything on that.

Everyone complains about Dick being mean to Jason (even though canonically it just...didn't happen guys). And we like to conveniently forget that Dick did try and get Tim help (which Tim needed) during Red Robin and Tim pretty much started a physical fight during it (and Tim also punched Damian in the face without physical provocation and no one calls Tim out for it). Also he really really shouldn't be slut shamed. Ever. Period. I raise you, canon reasons we should shame Dick Grayson.

1. Robin War

2. Titans (1999)

He's a hard ass with high expectations, and yeah that is because of trauma and watching his teammates die before, but he needs to work on the delivery. Like right after this, uh this happens.

So yeah...people skills are kinda sus sometimes (depending on author) ngl. Also in same issue...

He's a secretive asshole. Like yeah dude it would have been an awkward conversation (he makes up for this later by breaking a gazillion international laws to get Vic a human body back) but like this right here was an asshole move.

ALSO THE PART IN THIS RUN WHERE HE'S LIKE OKAY GARTH JUST HOLD THE PORTAL OPEN I'LL BE RIGHT BACK AND GARTH IS ACTUALLY DYING FROM THE EFFORT AND DICK AND ROY ARE TAKING THEIR SWEET TIME WANDERING AROUND TITAN TOWER GETTING SUPPLIES DICKKKKKKK WHHHHHHYYYYYYY

3. Outsiders (2003)

This was my bois emo phase, like uh man. This was a time. A very agnsty time. He gets shame for being a god awful team leader in this. Like yes he was traumatized by Donna dying but that doesn't really cut it as an excuse for him being an asshole (at times) in this run. Also the MOST shame for not sucking it up and sleeping with Roy and just leaving all the sexual tension with no conclusion like jeez guys literally get a room.

4. Being a cop and Talia bashing - i don't have screen shots for this one because the first is a long arc (in which he technically doesn't do anything bad but the hero cop mentality of one person can fix an entire system is harmful and the person who wrote it was a right winger so i don't feel like i can blame Dick for being co-opted into copaganda) and the Talia bashing is kinda a joke and i have no idea where it's located comics wise other than Batman and Robin where Talia got character assassinated so yeah. Sucks.

5. The one thing that i pretend doesn't exist and can't hurt me that happened after that one crisis and no i will not be more specific because i don't consider it canon what even is canon anymore.

6. In an AU he did the whole First Order (New Order?) thing so that was sus.

7. In the New Teen Titans/the New Titans the dumbass gets captured by brother blood 3 times because he used the same plan 3 times in a row like does he have 3 brain cells or something?? I know technically (in a retcon i hate) he was brainwashed the second 2 times but still sweetie your plans throughout that series generally suck. Also they all just ignored Raven's problems and hoped they'd go away so uhhh yeah rip her.

*searches brain* I'm sure there's more, but this is what i got rn. The man has flaws and y'all like to pretend he's perfect except for the things with Jason and Tim that like really aren't as bad as people make them out to be (i literally read Red Robin 1 and laughed oop) and if you read the rest of the comic with Jason, Dick turns it around and warms up to the kid (and i think in that continuity it's still canon that Jason chilled with the titans a bit and they were all friends). The only continuity it was suggested he was a bad bro was him commenting on his own behavior and jason being like nah fam you were fine. Give my boy the type of shit he deserves XD I'm sorry i wrote a freaking dissertation i got started and couldn't stop.

It’s time for a good old fashioned shaming.

Jason Todd never should have attacked Tim in titans tower, or have a problem with him in the first place. He’s often overly violent and I think he’s  unnecessarily killed before.
