Wir blenden oder kuttern Paprika, Butter und Zwiebel. Es ist egal, ob aus der Konserve oder frisch. Gewürzt wird mit Salz, Knoblauch und etwas Zucker. Die Flüssigkeit muss sehr kurz gehalten werden. My family basically only had sparkling water and apple juice to drink for us kids (and we weren't allowed to just drink pure juice, you had to mix it 1 to 1 with water) while milk with honey was an occasional evening and cocoa milk an afternoon treat. The first time I visited a friend whose fridge had a bottle of soda inside my mind was blown. How was that even allowed??

Man, if this cake turns out even halfway decent I'll have to consider it a minor miracle...

I'm supposed to beat 6 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 3/4 cup of sugar until "very light" but I dumped the sugar into the other dry ingredients

But they get mixed together in the end so maybe it doesn't matter?

Then after mixing the other dry ingredients I realized I forgot to add the cinnamon, cloves, and baking powder! Mixed it all again...

Hopefully that too, won't matter in the end

Then the egg whites! The egg whites, no matter how long I beat them just would not stiffen. No idea why: this has never happened before so I folded well-beaten (but not stiff) egg whites into the cake batter and then set it to bake as normal

I'll know in an hour after baking, cooling, and mixing up the topping if I'll be alright

Worst part about having any kind of stomach problems is that at some point your appetite and hunger returns but you're still not allowed to eat normally otherwise your stomach goes 'HAH you thought it was good again but you were wrong! 2d8 stomach damage!'

Natürlich mit Früchten und Alkohol. Die seltsamen Krankheiten unserer Gäste zwangen mich manchmal, Dinge zu kochen, die uns weniger bekannt, aber schmackhaft sind. Der Schokopudding gehört dazu.
