Never Forget it was Israel that attacked the USA on September 11 2001. There is absolutely no reason why the evil Zionist state still exists today. After 9/11 they forfeited their right to exist. There was and is absolutely no Biblical or Historical reason for a modern state of Israel to exist!

I reblogged it earlier but I'm glad the Something Awful Forums 9/11 thread was archived because it's an incredibly important slice of internet history. For the record I think 9/11 was thousands of personal tragedies for the direct victims of the attacks but one big national farce that led to America's ongoing slide into fascism, and the nationalism and remembrance around it is a joke especially in the wake of the same amount of deaths every fucking day in the US during the height of coronavirus.

Nevertheless I think it's important that if you do not remember because you were too young or just didn't exist on Sept 11, 2001 to read the Something Awful 9/11 forums to get an idea of what the internet was like at the moment when America changed to 24 hour news cycles and renewed hyper-nationalism not seen since WWII.

This all happened before Twitter, Facebook, before Discord. Before smart phones. Before most people had cell phones. When a lot of people still had dial-up internet, even. Some people in the thread were relying on radio because internet and TV weren't keeping up.

It was a live event of internet denizens reacting to the biggest national event (and among the biggest international events) of the past 25 years. It was also a slice of what the internet was like at the turn of the millennium. Not only that, but people accurately calling out who was responsible, and what would result before the attacks even finished.

Keep in mind that the links that follow contain images of the event, lots of Islamophobia, people calling for the Middle East to be nuked, people blaming Palestine, casual racist and homophobic language (this was Something Awful after all), etc etc. They preserved the first 17 pages which spanned about 24 hours during the events. It's the origin of the "WATCH BUSH START A FUCKING WAR" screenshot.

Note the thread was preserved in Pacific Time even though the page says times are Eastern. That's incorrect. As a leftist Jew who believes strongly in the cause of dignity and freedom for the Palestinian people, and that Israel has abused them, I am begging fellow leftists to understand that real life is not a comic book. A government being “the bad guy” in a situation does not automatically make anyone who opposes it “the good guy”.

Hamas denies the Holocaust. Hamas disseminates the Protocols of the Elders of Zion—the conspiracy theory it paints is what they mean by “Zionist”. Hamas forbids foreign aid educators from teaching human rights to Palestinians, and claims that even teaching that the Holocaust happened is a war crime. Hamas has written the aim of annihilating Israel (the country and its people) into its charter—the mass slaughter and violent expulsion of 7 million Jews from the land is written into its laws.

There is no crime any state could ever do that would justify any of that; there is no act of state repression that could ever make it acceptable to side with the organization spreading Nazi pamphlets and Holocaust denial.

Oppose Bibi Netanyahu. Oppose Israel’s far-right, authoritarian government. Oppose Likud’s policies. Oppose its violence against Palestinian civilians. That isn’t antisemitic. But Hamas is—verifiably, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to its core—antisemitic. Its portrayal of Israeli Jews as blood-thirsty, child-killing master manipulators that control international media and finance is antisemitic. Its insistence that Palestinian freedom necessitates the death & expulsion of Jews from the land is antisemitic. Supporting the Palestinian people in their plight is a noble and loving goal; please never stop that. But do not let Hamas co-opt that into excusing or denying their rampant antisemitism and war crimes.

Gallant has admitted, Israel lied about its version of events that took place on 7 October 2023

The surprise confession by former defence minister Yoav Gallant that Israel did enact the Hannibal Directive on 7 October has changed everything.

Right, so the events of 7 October have now been completely and utterly dismantled and it is one Israel own people to have done the dismantling and who better to tell the truth now, than the guy who ordered it.

Former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, now wanted on an international arrest warrant, has finally admitted that so-called Hannibal Directives were ordered on the night of 7 October, orders for the IDF as they are to target their own people, their own civilians in order to prevent them from being taken hostage.

There has been circulatory imagery and videos seeming to bear this explanation out previously, there have been statements from eyewitnesses claiming to have seen these directives being implemented, but now a government official, the guy in charge of defence has admitted they were used and that means every single death from that night can no longer be levied solely at Hamas and an independent investigation must now be carried out to ascertain the truth, because Israel’s entire justification for all of the atrocities they have been committing in Gaza, all justified off the back of what they have claimed to have been an indiscriminate attack by Hamas only on a night where Zionists across the world still to this day claim it to be the biggest slaughter of Jewish people since the holocaust. Well, how many of those Jewish people were actually killed by their own side, under their own nations orders? We must know.

Right, so the world’s biggest open secret has finally been confirmed by former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant in an interview he gave to Israel’s Channel 12, where he admitted to Hannibal Directives having been issued.

He was asked: ‘When you see the convoys crossing the border with Israeli hostages, what crosses your mind? Is the Hannibal Directive something you are thinking about in that moment?’ This term was then clarified by the co-host what said: ‘Just to explain, the Hannibal Directive says to shoot to kill when there is a vehicle containing an Israeli hostage.’

Gallant then went on to answer, saying: ‘I want you to understand that the ability of the defence minister to give timely, operational instructions when everything is happening is very limited.’

But when pressed on the matter of whether or not the Hannibal Directive was given, he went on to say: ‘I think that tactically in various places it was given, and in other places it was not given and that is a problem.’ No, the problem is giving such a barbaric order at all, but having admitted that it was given in some places, but not others, yet the implication of that being it was carried out anyway, the need for a thorough, impartial and independent investigation has bever been clearer and yet Israel have consistently blocked any attempts to do so and it’s pretty obvious why now isn’t it?
