Today my mother made me go to the beach. And while I was there I let myself enjoy the water and sand between my toes.
After a little while I felt like crying.
I felt like crying because remembered the videos I had seen of Palestinian children playing in the water of their beaches, of parents chasing children around while they laughed, of people enjoying the water and feeling the sand between their toes.
Then I thought about how these people don't get to enjoy their beaches anymore. Because Israel won't let them, because Israel is bombing the families who used to play in the sand.
When we got in the car my mum rolled all the windows down, said something about the fresh air. And as we drove I felt the cool wind against my face, in my hair.
And I wanted to cry.
Because the people in Gaza don't get to just enjoy the fresh air. Because all they're breathing in is debris from destroyed buildings and white phosphorus, and the smell of the dead.
I looked out my window and saw my old school as we passed. And I felt guilty, because I dropped out. But their are children in Palestine who are crying and begging to go back to school and they can't.
The children in Gaza can't go back to school because Israel has destroyed and bombed them.
And I think about the displaced people taking refuge in those very schools while Israel attacked them. I think about how unfair and cruel that is.
And then I see the trees. My favourite trees, Gum trees that are native to my land. And I think about how the native trees in Gaza are being destroyed and bulldozed, very important trees that mean a lot to the Palestinian people. And those trees are being taken away by Israel.
Then there are houses, homes and people going about their day. I watch them from my car window and I want to cry still. Because the people in Gaza have no homes, they don't get to go about their day.
I think about the displaced people in Gaza, who are lucky to have a tent to sleep in. Because Israel has bombed their homes, rained white phosphorus above their homes, bulldozed over their homes, forced the Palestinian people to flee from their homes.
I'm barely holding in my tears, because I'm in the car on the way to my own home and the people in Gaza don't get to do that.
We pass the shops, and my throat starts to close up because there's people buying ice cream and groceries for their families. And the people in Gaza are being starved by Israel.
The people in Gaza don't get to have ice cream, they can't do their grocery shopping. They don't even have enough food for their own children because Israel refuses to let any aid trucks in, because they control all the borders and entries into Gaza.
We pass by a chemist in particular and I think about all the children in Gaza not being able to receive medical care. Because the hospitals are being attacked by Israel. Because no medical aid can get in. Because they have doctors being killed.
And then we pass by the park. The park is empty. And I think about the empty parks in Gaza. Because there are no children to play on the swings, no children to run and laugh. Because the children are crying instead. The children have no legs to play because they've been bombed. They can't laugh because white phosphorus has burned through their faces. They can't do anything because they are frozen in fear.
Theses children who should be filling up empty parks are holding their baby siblings, trying to keep them alive because their parents, aunt's and uncles, have all been slaughtered by the IDF. These children who should be laughing are screaming out for help because members of the IDF are raping them.
These children who should be having fun at the park are prisoners of Israel for throwing rocks at tanks like the boy David who threw a rock at the giant Goliath to save his people. And these children are being tortured in these prisons because they were hopeful and brave.
These children who should be with their families at the park are dying. Are dead. A lying beneath the ruble. Are cold and limp with no air in their lungs. These children are in pieces scattered across the blood drenched ground.
They should have been at the park today.
I can hear a man talking on the radio, and he's talking about unimportant nonsense things and I feel angry. I feel frustrated. Because why is no one else talking about this!? Why is no one talking about what's happening to these people!??
We pass by the fresh water creak right before my house and I want to scream! Because I know there's no fresh water in Gaza. I know there are Palestinians dying of dehydration and yet there is fresh, drinkable water running right there! But the water in Palestine has been polluted by blood and disease, and the seawater Israel has flooded their water supply with.
And when I get to my bed I finally scream and cry and punch my mattress to get all my emotions out.
Now I'm numb and writing this so that someone will see it, hoping that someone will understand, hoping that someone will fight even harder for the people of Palestine.
I'm hoping that they can enjoy their beaches again. I hope that's sometime soon.

genuine question coming from someone who is trying their best to support palestine but can't stomach condoning hamas's actions. how can you justify the murder of civilians and sexual violence that happened on october 7th? i know the fight for palestinian liberation is more important but they said orders to rape israeli women came from higher up in hamas. how can we support these people?
I will not be debating people in the notes of this post or in followup asks. I am not an authority on this subject, I am an individual giving commentary as I see it.
Do not attempt to follow this discourse up with intent to own me. You will waste your time and look stupid, I promise. Just unfollow and block me.
If your intent is genuine, and you are sincerely confused, then I will tell you that the first thing you must do is understand that your perspective of what happened on October 7th was not your own. It was made by a committee of communications officials and sold to you by news organizations to implant within you a version of what happened so that you would feel this precise feeling of hesitation, discomfort, and desire to withdraw yourself from the discussion. And that version is often full of blatant, contradictory, and easily fact-checkable lies. Israel knows that it doesn't have to make everyone support its cause to get away with it: if they can make enough people look away while they commit genocide, this too is a victory.
The sexual violence against Israeli women by Hamas has been vastly unsubstantiated, especially in comparison to the verifiable claims of IDF soldiers using sexual violence against Palestinian women. Go to any news articles and you will see "Claims of [number] of Israeli women raped by Hamas". You don't see firsthand reports, and you don't see consistent numbers, just people speaking for this group of unnamed and uncounted women. Further, many of the photos and videos of violence happening to women you see typically attached to these articles have turned out to be verified as Israeli soldiers assaulting Palestinian women during previous conflicts.
And that's another important note: previous conflicts. The date on everyone's mind has been October 7th, because that's when Hamas made an attack on the concert. Make no mistake, this was not the beginning of this conflict. And Palestine was not the aggressor.
Here is a graph of people killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine from 2002 to 2014. Notice, if you will, the yellow vs the pale blue. Can you guess which color represents which group? Just kidding you don't have to guess, the graph tells you.
After WW2, the European-Jewish population (which was 90% of the Jewish population at the time) emigrated to their holy land after over 1000 years. This land, now Palestine, had been under control by Muslim kingdoms since around 640 AD. The UN created a proposition following the Holocaust, submitted to create 2 states within Palestine: 54% would go to the Jewish population, and 46% would go to the Arab population. The Palestinian representatives rejected this proposal, but the Jewish representatives agreed, and over the next few years there would be a massive displacement of Muslims during what was called the Nakba; a cataclysmic event that saw 700,000 Palestinians (80% of them) displaced from the territory that the Israeli occupying force had claimed.
Since then there has been an ongoing pushing and cleansing of Palestinians over time. The remaining land that was not stolen during the 1948 mandate has been shrinking as Israel tightens its grip on the land and the people, exerting the force given to it by the United States to completely absorb the area. The process of which has been torturous and extraordinarily traumatic on the Palestinian population.

This map represents generations of murder, rape, and torture of Palestinians. A people who had their land forcefully taken from them, and have been made to be unwilling neighbors with their aggressors ever since. There are countless articles of IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens alike abusing Palestinians. Stealing their homes, starving their children, mocking their faith. This form of violent nationalism is born from Zionism, which was created by secular men, and has existed for less than a single century. The ideals of Zionism can only be seen out with the COMPLETE annihilation of the Palestinian people, something the terroristic Israeli force sees to go through with.
Hamas, at the moment, is fighting for the unconditional freedom of Palestine from their colonizers. We are seeing, in real time, the furious spirit of Palestine resisting what some of the worlds strongest military forces are trying to make to be their final death. In that impossible fight, they are seeing victories in urban warfare, and extreme coordination in guerilla tactics that we haven't seen since the Vietnam war. And during all of that, it has still been verifiably reported that they've been treating hostages well, many of them speaking positively about their time in captivity and expressing extreme dissatisfaction with Netanyahu's cabinet, something reflected in the staggering lack of direct interviews with hostages released.
Let's not mince words here, Hamas is absolutely killing people. Hamas is killing as many IDF soldiers as they possibly can, and yes, even some Israeli civilians have died. While it's true that these number significantly fewer than Palestinian civilian casualties, I'm not bold as to claim that that is not horrible. But this too is the fault of purposeful abuse of civilian population centers by the Israeli government. Ask yourself for a moment:
Why would Israel, being so aware of the horrifying whims of the savage Palestinians, allow a massive open-air concert to happen DIRECTLY on an unpatrolled border between Israel and Palestine? Why too does Israel insist on housing Civilian populations as close to Palestine as possible? They've already showed us: the military uses the deaths of their civilians as warrant to punish Palestinians in any way and to any extent they see fit.
Even if we're discounting the murderous occupier civilians shooting at Palestinian families and forcing them out of their life-long homes, it's still horrible to see otherwise incidentally innocent Israeli civilians die. Innocent death is inherently horrible. But even in a world where what happened on October 7th didn't happen, Israel intended to ensure the death, innocent or not, of all Palestinians who resist giving up their land. Hamas, Palestinian resistance groups, and now other Arab states have chosen to fight against this. Millions of people around the globe have chosen to unite and fight for them for this reason as well. It is why I support Palestine.
When a society lets mass atrocities happen in slow motion over decades, those atrocities become normal. And when those experiencing these atrocities fight back with economical blows of violence, it becomes a shocking disruption to the normal for those who haven't been paying attention, or were born into it; something the west relies on, and has packaged and sold as "terrorism" in the past few decades.
The modern Zionistic body of Israel has been a terroristic, murderous entity since its inception less than 100 years ago.
Do not let yourself be swayed into believing that murder, if done slowly enough, is not murder.

It's quite disheartening to hear Mosab Abu Toha talk about the humiliation and fear he experienced completely one-sidedly when being detained by the IDF and have the interviewer still ask "this incredible cycle of violence is benefiting no one so—"
Cycle of violence? Palestinians did nothing to start this. Nothing. They can't even live their lives without fear and humiliation. We're killed, raped, starved, tortured no matter what. You live in constant fear of that happening to you because you see it happening to your family, your neighbors, your friends. Everyday! Everyday they are exposed to violence! They've never experienced a world without that violence!
So how can it be a cycle of violence benefiting no one when one group inflicts such terrible cruelty on another every single day?

I’m a Palestinian American. Here’s Why I Can’t Support the Anti-Israel Protesters. By Elizabeth Gillanders. August 16, 2024
Walking past Union Station in the nation’s capital, I recently was met with a heartbreaking sight. Vandals had defaced the Columbus Memorial Fountain with spray paint, writing the words “Hamas is coming” in big red letters.
Trash and signs discarded by anti-Israel protesters littered the ground. A burnt shopping cart stood off to one side with piles of ash beneath it.
Most depressing, however, were the three bare flag poles that had been robbed of their American flags. Protesters had burned the flags, the only remnant a charred piece of fabric atop another pile of ash.
This was the aftermath of the July 24 “pro-Palestinian” protests in Washington, D.C., organized in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address that day to a joint meeting of Congress.
As an American of Palestinian heritage, some expect me to cheer on these people. They expect me to condemn the U.S., hate Israel, and support Hamas, a terrorist organization dedicated to wiping out the Jewish state.
But these expectations don’t represent me, nor my family.
I inherit my Palestinian background from my mother’s side of the family; her parents emigrated to America from the Middle East. My grandma was born in Israel and later moved to Ramallah in the West Bank and eventually to Jordan.
After arriving in America in her 20s, my grandma worked hard to become a U.S. citizen. She learned the English language while raising my mother and uncle. She opened a restaurant with my grandpa, lovingly named the Chicken Pantry, in Hamtramck, Michigan. When that business closed, my grandma worked as a real estate agent before eventually retiring in the land of prosperity.
America brought my family prosperity. My grandparents taught my mother to “kiss the ground you walk on” because they knew what a blessing America is.
They passed this lesson on to me.
Although many seem to think that my Palestinian heritage should cause me to align with protests that supposedly are “pro-Palestinian,” it’s precisely because of my heritage that I cannot do that.
Israel went to war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip only after Hamas terrorists slaughtered 1,200 and kidnapped about 250 in a rampage of rape, torture, and murder Oct. 7 in southern Israel.
About 10 months later, as pro-Hamas protesters march in this country to “free Palestine,” they call for the death of America. As they burn the American flag, they burn all that my family has worked to achieve.
As the protesters pledge their allegiance to Hamas, they encourage a group that my grandmother wouldn’t hesitate to call a terrorist organization that operates with a strategy of human sacrifice.
Think about it. Why are there no Hamas military bases in the Gaza Strip adjoining Israel? Because the terrorists hide behind their own people.
They dress like noncombatants in Gaza. They establish bunkers in hospitals. They commandeer ambulances for transportation.
These actions are all in direct violation of Article 18 of the Geneva Conventions, the international pacts that set minimum standards during armed conflict for the treatment of civilians, soldiers, and prisoners of war.
One example is Hamas’ use of Gaza’s most important hospital, Al-Shifa. According to the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Hamas uses a bunker under the hospital as a base for military operations. This not only makes the hospital a target, but takes medical resources needed for the sick.
In contrast, the Israel Defense Forces have given civilians in Gaza opportunities to evacuate and warned of impending attacks. No other nation goes this far to protect enemy civilians.
How can I support pro-Hamas demonstrators who wish to end the nation that brought my family so much? How can I back a terrorist group that uses its own people as human shields? How can I hate Israel, when the IDF has worked to keep Palestinian civilians out of harm’s way?
I believe it’s important to point out that, contrary to popular belief, not all Arabs think the same. Some of us do see this conflict differently. And our thoughts and beliefs should not be snuffed out because they go against the “narrative.”
To some, perhaps our stance makes us walking oxymorons. But we are proud ones, nonetheless.

While I acknowledge why the ICC issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu is a historic monument since it is the first time this has happened to an Israeli criminal and an ally to the US, which I'm sure is baby steps to stripping that rogue colony from their impunity of international law, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't change the fact that for the most part, Netanyahu isn't doing anything previous PM and presidents before him did regarding ethnic-cleansing and maintain the occupation and apartheid over Palestine.
And I only saying this because I'm noticing a lot of Zionists back-pedaling from "Israel isn't doing anything wrong!" to "ok fine maybe Israel did some things wrong…….however it's all the fault of Bibi! Just him though!" and basically using Netanyahu as their scapegoat who's entirely responsible for all the crimes Israel has committed, while every single Israeli in existence (including the rest of the government, every IDF terrorist in the army and every criminal-settler in occupied Palestine) are 100% innocent and not responsible for their own crimes and the blood on their own hands.
An ongoing genocide with hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians being killed in cold blood with many more being tortured and raped in concentration camps (in some cases being filmed by their torturers) and all of their homes being reduced to rubble while going through a famine and apparently only one Israeli, just one Israeli, should be held accountable for their crimes and asking for any more would be anti-semitic? Needless to say, those same people will turn around and demand that the entire government of Hamas and any type of resistance should be completely eradicated with every single member, from the literal leader to a simple janitor, must be arrested and imprisoned if not outright have them brutally killed at the spot.
In short, even if he dropped dead today, Netanyahu will simply be replaced by another fascist ruler who reflects the nature of their fascist colony and Israel's crimes against Palestinians will continue, because the issue here isn't the current leader of a murderous rogue settler-colony, but the existence of the said murderous rogue settler-colony and the impunity + unconditional support that it receives from the US, regardless of what terrorist is the current head of the government.

I still will never forget this one zionist comment I saw sometime ago that was something along the lines of:
"If Hamas hadn't of attacked, Israel wouldn't be doing this right now"
Like are you fucking kidding me? Do you have soggy peanuts and cashews for brain cells?
Putting aside the obliviousness to the near 8 decades (yk.. over 75 years? over 27,375 days?) of the Genocide over Palestine. One day of an attack should never under ANY circumstance make over eight months of pure torture, bombing and despair the right thing to do or the right way to respond.
Hamas' attack was only one (1) day
Israel's attack (Genocide) on Palestine has been, since October 7th 2023, going on for 262 days, almost 9 months. This does not account for the 27,113 other days of unheard of and unspoken horror that Israel has been putting on Palestine.
That comment has not left my brain since I saw it, I think about it everytime I see another Zionist come out of the woodworks.
The SINGULAR DAY that Hamas attacked should not warrant illegalization of Palestinians marrying Israelians, should not warrant raping, torturing and humiliating Palestinian Hostages, should not warrant Military (IDF) posting tiktoks and videos about Palestine, should not warrant killing children, girls and boys under the age of 18, under the age of 12, under the age of 6, under the age of 3, under the age of 1, babies who are barely a month old. This should not warrant taking over supply trucks, should not warrant destroying various means of transporting necessities to Palestinians, should not warrant IDF Soldiers standing around and monitoring Palestinians, should not warrant putting Palestinians in concentration camps. This should not warrant Palestinians getting brutally [and physically] harassed in public spaces, should not warrant removing or tampering with a Hijabi's Hijab or anything of the sort, should not warrant name-calling or berating Palestinians. This should not warrant the displacement of Palestinians. That singular day should not warrant ANY OF THE BEHAVIOR shown towards Palestinians, their homes, their families, and their land.
If you genuinely believe that October 7th, 2023 should've warranted any of the aforementioned and unmentioned (because there is still so, so much more to what's happening, I did not list everything) behavior, I hope you one day will feel the anger and pain and sorrow and hurt and frustration and desperation that Palestinians have felt for almost a Century.
This is not propaganda, it's reality, and it's happening. Palestine is being washed out by Israel. This is not a "Well you're anti-israel that's not cool," situation, this is literally looking at the Genocide going on and realizing that what the IDF, Israel and most other countries are supporting is WRONG.
#palestine#free palestine#from the river to the sea palestine will be free#it just makes me sick reading the Little Ms Sam screenshot. who gives a fuck if its “anti-israel” THEYRE BOMBING DEFENSELESS PEOPLE#DO YOU NOT SEE THAT. HEAR ABOUT IT. UNDERSTAND THAT.#BOMBING DEFENSELESS PEOPLE. PEOPLE WHO CANT FIGHT BACK. WHO HAVE BEEN DISPLACED.#lets also not fucking forget all the times Hamas has proposed a ceasefire offer and Israel DECLINED THE OFFER.#jesus fucking christ.

LMFAO another debunked claim. you mean the Hind Rajab blood libel?
troops were not even in this area when this “happened.” troops weren’t in the area in GENERAL, so it is likely hamas and PIJ were fighting as usual, killed this family, and they decided to blame the EvOl JeWs.
but the jews are always lying right?
if you care so much about kids, surely you’ll care about:

thank g-d amina recovered, but i doubt you give a shit about her and what she went through due to palestinian terrorism.
and Mila Cohen, the ten month old murdered by hamas with her father and grandmother?

or shahar, arbel, and omer siman tov, who were murdered by hamas with their parents?
or surely then, you care about ariel and kfir bibas, who were kidnapped by hamas and are still held in captivity?

i could go on? including the children murdered by palestinian terrorists in other attacks through the years? the pregnant women? the kindergartens targeted? the rape and torture and mutilation hamas did on oct 7?
the disabled kids killed by hamas on oct 7?
want the videos of them murdering family dogs just because they could? of them stabbing dead bodies and posing with them? the call made by a palestinian terrorist telling his parents he murdered 10 jews? of crowds of palestinians cheering while hostages were driven in? or the crowds of civilians kidnapping hostages?
you all say the idf loves killing kids while you quote fake ass numbers and fake stories in an attempt to bolster your claims. including videos with fake blood. meanwhile the disgusting nazis you support are the ones who murdered and kidnapped children with absolute PLEASURE.
🖕 fuck you, hamas supporting scum. you can’t gotcha me with blood libel.
also? sky news is a notorious antisemitic outlet. their reporting of oct 7?
https://honestreporting.com/hamas-offered-hope-sky-news-absurd-analysis-of-the-october-7-attacks/

yes mass murder is “hope.”
lmao you are all pathetic.
my friend @scartale-an-undertale-au replied to these claims months ago btw. and brilliantly.

there's still 134 innocent people held as hamas hostages including two babies and their mother and 20 year old girls who are currently going through ongoing rape and sexual assaults. good to know where you stand on that. have a nice life from the comfort of you safe home.
israel rejects hamas' hostage deal (feb 9 2024)
netanyahu rejected ceasefire-for-hostages deal in gaza (nov 2023)
so it doesnt seem like israel is in much of a hurry to bring their hostages home or free them. but surely theyre treating their hostages and the palestinians they encounter much better?
un experts demand investigation into idf abuse of women and girls in gaza
videos appear to show israeli soldiers abusing bound and blindfolded palestinian detainees
"they brought israeli citizens to watch our nude torture"
palestinian boys and men detained without charge by israeli military describe 5 days of alleged abuse
stripped, beaten and blindfolded: new research reveals ongoing violence and abuse of palestinian children by israeli military
egregious acts of torture, abuse committed by israel army against palestinian civilians in the west bank
israel: security forces abuse palestinian children (this is from 2015 btw)
excessive force: human rights violations during idf actions in area a (2001 btw)
so.. idk dawg. were you expecting me to read that, armed with the knowledge of the idf treatment of palestinians for many decades and be like "ohhh okay i forgive the genocide happening then. hundreds of thousands of dead palestinians but i draw the line at 134 hostages that israel isnt even trying to free"

A Year of Empty Threats and a “Smokescreen” Policy: How the State Department Let Israel Get Away With Horrors in Gaza
Current and former diplomats told me that U.S. leaders are fundamentally unwilling to follow through on the Leahy law and cut off units from American-funded weapons. Instead, they have created multiple processes that give the appearance of accountability while simultaneously undermining any potential results, the experts said. In another case considered by the Israel Leahy Vetting Forum, a 15-year-old boy from the West Bank said he was tortured and raped in the Israeli detention facility Al-Mascobiyya, or Russian Compound. For years, the State Department had been told about widespread abuses in that facility and others like it. Military Court Watch, a local nonprofit organization of attorneys, collected testimony from more than 1,100 minors who had been detained between 2013 and 2023. Most said they were strip searched and many said they were beaten. Some teens tried to kill themselves in solitary confinement. IDF soldiers recalled children so scared that they peed themselves during arrests. At the Russian Compound, a 14-year-old said his interrogator shocked and beat him in the legs with sticks to elicit information about a car fire. A 15-year-old said he was handcuffed with another boy. “An Israeli policeman then walked into the room and beat the hell out of me and the other boy,” he said. A 12-year-old girl said she was put into a small cell with cockroaches. Military Court Watch routinely shared its information with the State Department, according to Gerard Horton, one of the group’s co-founders. But nothing ever came of it. “They receive all our reports and we name the facilities,” he told me. “It goes up the food chain and it gets political. Everyone knows what’s going on and obviously no action is taken.” Even the State Department’s own public human rights reports acknowledge widespread allegations of abuse in Israeli prisons. Citing nonprofits, prisoner testimony and media reports, the agency wrote last year that “detainees held by Israel were subjected to physical and sexual violence, threats, intimidation, severely restricted access to food and water.” In the summer of 2021, the State Department reached out to the Israeli government and asked about the 15-year-old who said he was raped at the Russian Compound. The next day, the Israeli government raided the nonprofit that had originally documented the allegation, Defense for Children International — Palestine, and then designated the group a terrorist organization. As a result, U.S. human rights officials said they were prohibited from speaking to DCIP. “A large part of the frustration was that we were unable to access Palestinian civil society because most NGOs” — nongovernmental organizations — “were considered terrorist organizations,” said Mike Casey, a former U.S. diplomat in Jerusalem who resigned last year. “All these groups were essentially the premier human rights organizations, and we were not able to meet with them.” [...] “As you can imagine, it’s been a bit touchy here,” the official said on the call, explaining the months without correspondence. “The Israeli government’s not going to dictate to me who I can talk to, but my superiors can.” The IDF eventually told the State Department it did not find evidence of a sexual assault but reprimanded the guard for kicking a chair during the teenager’s interrogation. To date, the U.S. has not cut off the Russian Compound on Leahy grounds.

if this makes you angry, good. Because it's true. Use that anger to go pressure the democrats to stop funding a fucking genocide. Not only is it the right thing to do and will save thousands if not hundreds of thousands of lives, but it's the #1 way to stop people voting 3rd party.
"it will be worse for palestinians under trump"
worse that genocide? worse that starving, getting polio, being ping-ponged around Gaza while trapped in a death camp, worse than routine horrific torture (including being raped by weapons), psychological terrorism, child abattoirs, sniping children, mass graves? worse that IDF soldiers livestreaming their war crimes with laughing and cheering? Worse than thousands of whole families being struck off the register? Worse than 30 metre craters in the sand where Israel bombed TENTS with bunker-busters, knowing it wouldn't be possible to put bunker busters in that ground? Worse than hearing EVERY SINGLE INTERNATIONAL DOCTOR saying it's the worst thing they've ever seen? Worse that your new born baby dying in your arms x hundreds? Worse than doctors being marched out of hospitals so their critical patients die? Worse than the whole Gaza city being turned into a moonscape? Worse that children literally dying of fright and PTSD? Worse than the horrific war crimes the IDF posts DAILY mocking the Palestinian civilians they've taken as prisoners?
You can see all those things and more ON VIDEO all over the fucking internet, shot by both sides.
"we've got to put our own oxygen mask on first"
You can actually do both things you know. It's not either or. You can plan to vote democrats AND be up in their face 24/7 nagging them for a ceasefire and to stop funding genocide and ethnic cleansing. If you're only voting dems and occasionally saying things like "yeah it's awful about palestine" you're not helping
If you're mocking/harrassing/insulting 3rd party voters because they say they can't vote for a party funding genocide and doing literally nothing to stop the genocide don't you fucking turn around to tell people it's their fault for not voting for a genocide.
It's a genocide. It is not people getting snippy about paying an extra 1.5% tax or 3% pay rises. It's children reduced to mince meat en masse using your tax dollars, and you cannot be fucking serious thinking it's reasonable to mock people for not voting for that.
TL;DR: want people not to vote 3rd party? Use ALL your energy to pressure the Democrats to stop funding genocide. It's the pragmatic and effective way to get the Democrats back in.

1. Since October 7th, Hamas fired over 10,000 missiles at Israel while purposefully targeting Israeli civilians - a blatant war crime. The EU condemned Hamas for these acts.
2. On October 7th, Hamas terrorists purposefully entered civilians’ homes in Israel and tortured, raped, kidnapped and murdered 1,200 Israelis. 240 were kidnapped, including babies, toddlers and elderly - a blatant war crime. 200 independent and foreign reporters viewed unreleased footage from Hamas’s terrorists body cams that show unspeakable horrors committed against Israeli civilians. Many of the atrocities were live-streamed. Look it up, many of the videos are easily available. Note - Hamas recorded these videos. The terrorists were proud of their actions. Many reporters told about the glee and excitement shown by the terrorists as they tortured and raped Israeli girls and babies
3. Hamas is well known for using schools and hospitals as terror sites - a blatant war crime. The EU officially condemned Hamas’s actions, which endanger both Israelis and Palestinians.
4. IDF footage shows that Israeli hostages, including babies, were held under a Gaza hospital - another blatant war crime.
5. UNRWA tweeted that Hamas stole fuel and food from its warehouses. They later deleted that tweet. Look up the testimonies of Gaza residents, which are easily available here on X.
6. Hamas uses Gaza residents as human shields. There are multiple videos and testimonies indicating that Hamas set up road blocks to prevent Gaza residents from fleeing using the IDF’s humanitarian corridors. There are videos showing IDF soldiers securing that corridor since Hamas fired at its own people. There are videos of Gaza residents complaining about the fact that Hamas hides among civilians.
7. Hamas is a listed terror group per the USA, Britain, Canada and the European Union.
8. Israel is under no obligation to reach a ceasefire with such a murderous terror group - who in fact swore to carry out more of these attacks until Israel is annihilated.
9. Hamas is the elected ruler in Gaza, and Israel has the right and duty to eliminate it.

How can Israel be allowed to exist after citizens literally rioted over the fact that IDF soldiers might be punished for raping a prisoner? And after government officials defended that rape? Not to mention those who repeatedly blocked aid going into Gaza with no punishment.
Hi Nonnie.
Firstly, thanks for actually posing this as a question rather than just hurling abuse at me.
So, having extremists in a country - both civilians and in government - does not mean that a country has no right to exist. We literally have had fascist riots in the UK (caused by the English Defence League) the past few days based around misinformation which have targeted mosques and these are horrific but do not mean the UK should be dissolved. Expecting a country which does things that are bad, or has horrific fascists in government to be dissolved as punishment is not only nonsensical but also never going to happen. It's an ideological purity position which does nothing to help anyone.
Additionally, you never see anyone saying Iran should be dissolved for torturing women to death for wearing the hijab incorrectly, or hanging people who say things the regime doesn't like; you don't see people say the USA should be dissolved because lawmakers tried to stop aid going to Ukraine and ICE were putting children in cages and tormenting asylum seekers and immigrants. You cannot hold Israel to a higher standard than other countries.
In terms of what I've seen about the rape of prisoners, it's fucking horrific. It's unconscionable and must be condemned unequivocally - no ifs, no buts. This is a especially important topic to me personally as a man who has been sexually assaulted. The government ministers protecting them are far right extremists. They are awful people and I hope one day, soon, they will face severe consequences for their actions. The same goes for the civilians who tried to protect the perpetrators.
Those blocking aid should be punished for it. The aid situation is actually really quite complicated despite what a lot of online sources they to portray it as. The Standing Together food convoys being blocked was pretty much a manufactured issue by ST refusing to comply with rules about declaring and clearing aid so it could be sent in. They knew it would be blocked and they did it anyway. (There is a post about this from an ex member of ST which is around somewhere and I'll link back here if I find it).
The nationalist extremist citizens blocking aid are despicable however if they are saying "no aid in until our hostages come out" do you understand why they might take that viewpoint? I do not agree with it but I certainly can see why people might get to that position. I appreciate the whole of Gaza is in crisis however I can understand why people may see this as their only way to protest and try and force Hamas to release hostages (unfortunately it seems like Hamas cares even less about the lives of the average Palestinian than they do about the average Israeli.)
The fact that Hamas also steels aid, there are literal videos of this happening and Hamas attacking starving Gazans trying to get the food, and this goes ignored by so many people does not help. Now I would say that if 90% of the aid is stolen by Hamas, at least 10% gets through and that's better than nothing in my opinion but at the same time, if no one is condemning the aid being stolen and in some cases sold back to Gazans at huge prices to make more money for Hamas, then whats the point in trying to have a civil conversation.
If someone refuses to see that there are Terrible People on both sides, people who really showcase how low humanity can sink, then how can sustainable peace ever be achieved for Israelis and Palestinians.
#jumblr#ask answered#i hope this answers your question#im super tired so i hope it's understandable#the actions of horrific ministers and civilians does not justify the dissolution of a country#and expecting the world's only jewish majority country to be destroyed because of the actions of a few extremists but#not expect the same for any other country is very much an antisemitic belief#i am not calling you an antisemite nonnie just to clarify#i dont know you or your views on the situation atm#but i will say that expecting the one jewish majority state to be punished more severely than all the non jewish states is antisemic#so i hope you dont have that view

Dear anti Zionists
I will try and make this brief and to the point since you often attack me without reading the entirety of my posts :
I’ve seen your recent posts about the trials in Haag, and the mockery you’ve made of the events of October 7th. That’s just disgusting. Freeing Palestine has nothing to do murdering Israeli civilians.
- This war was initiated by Hamas , a terrorist organisation on October 7th.
- You cannot deny that they invaded Israel and then massacred thousands of civilans , raped and mutilated women and children, kidnapped civilians , shot thousands of rockets, destroyed homes ….
There are currently 136 Israeli hostages still held in captivity, for almost 100 days. They’re held in underground tunnels and being withheld medical care and medications. The women are raped and the man tortured.
There are currently also hundreds of thousands of Israelis displaced from their homes due to the war.
-I will say it again: Literally every war or operation in Israel’s history was not initiated by Israel. It is always a matter of retaliation to foreign military invasion or terror attacks .
I’m only 22 and I have personally lived through one intifada, 4 wars and countless military operations.
We are all suffering because of Hamas. Once again- my city is often under attack and people I know are dead. And some of you here have absolute nerve to say that I’m privileged????
-Intifadas aren’t cute civilian uprisings. They’re violent terror attacks against civilians. Children’s Buses blowing up, restaurants blown up, shootings, stabbings, running over people…
read a damn book or something before you chant “Globalise the Intifadas🥹”.
-Have any of you here ever spoken to a Palestinian or an Israeli in your life? Do you even know anyone Jewish?
- Please give me actual example of the apartheid in Israel, I’m waiting. My Druze / Arabic colleagues , friends and I literally frequently joke about this claim.
-No, blockades between the West Bank/Gaza and Israel do not count.
There are ISIS affiliated/ Hamas terrorists in the West Bank and Gaza, territories that are not governed by Israel > there are borders check point. Israel has the right to defend itself against terror.
-by the way, Jordan and Egypt both have those blockades btw- I don’t see any of you attacking them? The hypocrisy…
- While I am not questioning the death and suffering of Palestinians , this has to be said:
The amount of Palestinian casualties during the Hamas-Israel war is estimated by unconfirmed sources , and isn’t corroborated by any neutral official organisation.
It was also proven that most of the casualties are terrorists.
The Gaza ministry of health= Hamas .
Al Jazeera= not credible &has been time and time again proved to be biased and anti-Semitic.
Furthermore, It’s been proven time and time again that Hamas terrorists work at UWNRA, and that Palestinian reporters in both Al Jazeera and western media outlets are in fact Hamas members/ supporters.
One of them literally joined the Al Qasam forces in their attack on October 7th, and was reporting rather enthusiastically on the murder of Israeli civilians. As the massacre continued around them.
You would rather believe terrorists & terrorists sympathisers than Jewish/ Israeli victims’ testimonies and the concrete evidence they provide.
-It seems like you’re ignoring what Gazans are saying in your attempts to “free Palestine”.
If Gazans themselves are saying Hamas are to blame for their terrible living conditions and war , why are you defending Hamas?
Why are you assuming that you know better than the people who are actually living this conflict?
-The IDF has been trying every tactic under the sun to alert civilians from incoming strikes. There are whole unites devoted to texting calling Gazan civilians. They have made millions of calls this war alone.
And yes, even the infamous flyers you joke about are used.
Do you know any other army that does that?
God I am so tired of the misinformation, lies and hatred here. So many of you are showing your true colours- ignorance and antisemitism.
