What an unusual home! 1910 house in Nashville, Tennessee looks like it was an Arts & Crafts style, but it's really been altered. 4bds, 3ba, and I can't believe they're asking $2.5M. I mean, it's not being sold w/the decor, so you're left with the altered walls and architecture. You have to see it for yourself.
As soon as you enter, you can see that they've put a flagstone floor in the entrance hall and what looks like an old cement fountain with a cover.
Check out the newel posts on the stairs.
In the living room you can see the Arts & Crafts fireplace with the typically glass door shelves. They're painted black, but the tile surround is still there.
Interestingly, the dining room is done in Country French.
The kitchen is another situation entirely. But, if you're a homebuyer and you like the style, you have to visualize what it will look like w/o all this stuff. Like, do you have these sorts of things to replicate the look?
The guest powder room has a galvanized trough as a sink, and a long shower type faucet. I'm confused.
In the 2nd floor hallway.
The first bedroom must be the primary. It's got a fireplace and it's nice.
The primary bedroom has an en-suite. It's very nice, but I don't like what they did with the tub, I would repaint that.
In this hall outside of the bath, there's a door to a deck.
A big closet. Did you ever notice that most of the expensive homes have only men's clothing in the closets?

One of the bedrooms is a cozy library.
The attic is finished and has a sitting area and a work desk.
Plus a little Zen area.
Down on the ground floor is a sort of den with doors that open to the patio.
The patio is lovely. There's a beautiful fireplace out here.
This is a very cozy yard with lots of seating, but it's so close to the neighbors.
There's more patio and gardens alongside the house.
There are gardens in the front of the house, also, and as you can see, they've painted the brick black.
I love the front garden, ii's so unique and much better than a common lawn.

AMD Ryzen 7 8700G APU Zen 4 & Polaris Wonders!
AMD Ryzen 7 8700G APU The company formidable main processing unit (APU) with Zen 4 framework and Polaris designs, the AMD Ryzen 7 processor 8700G
The conclusions of the assessments for the Ryzen 5 processor from AMD 8600G had previously revealed this morning, and now some of the most recent measurements from the Ryzen 7 8700G APU graph G have been released made public. A Radeon 780M based on RDNA 3 with 12 compute units and a clock speed of 2.9 GHz is included in the integrated graphics processing unit (GPU). In spite of the fact that the 760M integrated graphics processing unit (iGPU) has faster DDR5 6000 memory, performance does not seem to rise linearly whenever there are fifty percent more cores. It would seem that this is the maximum performance that the Radeon IGPs are capable of. The results of future testing, particularly those involving overclocking, will be fascinating. However, the Meteor Lake integrated graphics processing units (iGPUs) might be improved with better quality memory configurations (LPDDR5x).
With the debut of the AM5 “Hawk Point” APUs at the end of January, it is anticipated that the RDNA 3 chips would provide increased performance for the integrated graphics processing unit (iGPU). At AMD’s next CES 2024 event, it is anticipated that further details will be discussed and revealed.

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw
Oh my god anything inorganic, but especially like, architecture, or vehicles. Two very useful things to have in artwork that I HATE DOING but man I love seeing it pulled off well. I absolutely drool all over Oda's gorgeous architecture, for instance, especially in arcs like Fishman Island - it's a big part of why I love One Piece. Also a big part of why I actually read a bunch of old Batman comics for a while a few years back, since Gotham itself may as well be a character with how it can loom and almost express emotion and not just simply set a scene. People who can really illustrate buildings and make them part of the worldbuilding and storytelling blow me away.
20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy
Wings! Feathers! I think the absolute popularity of that feather illustration post I put together shows how desperate people are for helpful material and how goddamn hard feathers and wings are for most everyone, but for me it's like the most soothing part of an image to do. Birds are my zen. Always draw birds. Forever.
26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended
I really can't think of anything for this. I think most of what I do is pretty literal. Paintings of birds, or landscapes I've visited, or characters I like. I don't do nearly enough storytelling with my images, I guess, but on the plus side, people generally see my art and know what they're looking at. I guess that's a good thing!

I don't understand- This house is listed as a new build, yet the listing says that it was built in 2021. Has it been sitting vacant for 2 yrs.? It's located in Mc Lean, Virginia, has 4bds, 6ba, and has just had a price increase of $1.2M! And, now they're asking $6.2M, up from $5M. Look at this one.
I'm thinking that this is an entrance hall or hidden mud room area b/c there's a bench and hooks for hanging coats. Plus, it's right around the corner from the living room fireplace.
You come around the corner by this large window and that's the fireplace on the right. Kind of a weird layout.
And, here we are in the living room. That's a very large fireplace, very dramatic, and to the right are stairs to a lower level.
The open concept living room/kitchen includes these massive spiral stairs for a stunning focal point. The house is said to showcase avant-garde architecture with asymmetrical lines.
The stairs kind of encroach on the kitchen.
Double ovens here behind the stairs.
The backsplash is a textured-look tile that resembles stone.
I could be wrong, but the island looks like a laminate. It's nice though, and seats 5.
Bath with nice tile and interesting modern pedestal sinks.
Plus, it has a beautiful shower.
The home is supposed to be an immersive journey thru art, sustainability and luxury.
Hallway has a room at the end where they actually built one of those tree bookshelves. That's a cool feature and it must be a bedroom or den, but they aren't showing the other rooms.
I'm quoting the description here: "The artistic touch continues with Shou Sugi Ban siding, seamlessly blending ancient Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics."
So, I'm guessing that these wood walls are the Shou Sugi Ban siding. Looks like a piece of marble or quartz simulating a fish tank.
Also in the basement is a large sauna.
And, a wavy Zen shower.
"Retreat to a luxurious primary bathroom for daily serenity."
I can't be sure, b/c they really aren't showing any of the bedrooms, but maybe this is the primary suite.
It has a terrace, but I'm wondering what those handles on the railing are for.
And, finally, there's a very artsy shaped pool with a large patio. The home is on a .51 acre lot.
