Sorry to hijack this ask that was asked over 4-5 years ago. And sorry to the anon who asked this. They probably forgot all about it...sorry again. ;;; To everyone who still follows this blog. Hi! Honestly, Yuu and Mitsuba had the great foundations to make a great connection! Platonic or romantic!

I don’t ship yuumitsu but I still think about this panel from time to time and wonder about what were Kagami’s intentions at the earlier stages of the manga. Like, the way Yuu is left looking at her at the end of her debut chapter, ignoring the conversation happening next to him and all that white background…it just heavily hinted to a future relationship between them. I wonder if he dropped the idea once he saw mikayuu vs yuunoa was more popular, and maybe that’s why Mitsuba experienced a massive drop in screentime since she lost her original purpose?

Owari no Seraph Gift Exchange: Autumn 2019

That’s right, the next Owari no Seraph Gift Exchange is already here! People seemed to really like the last one, so I’d like to keep this project going!

If you don’t know what the OnS Gift Exchange is, it’s essentially a Secret Santa type thing, where you fill out a form about your basic interests and things you like and dislike in OnS fanmade content, and based on that I personally assign everyone someone to make content for, and someone to receive content from. As it is supposed to be a secret, you won’t know the person assigned to you until the posting date, though you will know the person you’re assigned to so that you can better create content for them.

Any and all ships are allowed! So, if you’re a shipper of one of the more obscure pairings, feel free to join! If it’s a super rare ship, I might have difficulty finding someone to pair with you, so if you know other people who love that ship, encourage them to sign up as well!

The deadline to sign up for the Gift Exchange, meaning the date that signups will close, is August 20th. So, as long as you sign up at some point before then, and establish a reliable method of communication with me, you’re golden.

The deadline to have your project completed is October 20th. This round, I will be far less lenient with extensions than I was with the previous exchange, as last time I had nearly a third of the gift exchange turn their stuff in way past the deadline. That was partially my fault for not checking in with people as I intended to do, but please if you guys could get your projects to me as soon as you complete them that would be fantastic.

The posting date will be October 30th (Yes, the day before Halloween. Though that’s not the official theme of this Exchange, if you’d like to take advantage of the date to create some spooky content, have fun with it and  feel free.) So, though you will have your project completed at least 10 days before this point, no one is posting anything until the 30th. 

If you’re new to the Owari no Seraph Gift Exchange (i.e. if you did not participate in the Summer Gift Exchange that just happened on the 20th) this is the form that you need to fill out.

I think one important thing that everyone in this fandom forgets is why everyone is drawn to Yuu?

It’s because he’s honest about his feelings and has a high emotional intelligence which helped him understand his friends and therefore assist them when they needed him emotionally.

He helped Kimizuki decide to see his sister instead of continuing with their exam, helped Yoichi overcome his fears and dropped his weapon even though he was possessed, made Mitsuba feel better when she cried in front of him, etc. Everyone loves him, as stated by Kagami, because he is honest and kind despite everything.

He doesn’t even have to try, because it comes natural to him to be nice. He doesn’t hide the way he feels and that makes people trust him. They know he doesn’t hide any ill intentions and is always true to what his heart tells him.

It’s that genuine aspect of him that made Mika want to protect his smile even when he was a kid. 

Yuu can’t hide his feelings. He’s an open book.

And, in a destroyed world where you don’t know who the enemy is, that honesty makes people feel safe alongside him.

W.I.P. Week: Day 3- Canonverse or Au

I'm new to this W.I.P. Week but this seems legit like a good thing to get feedback on some things and I like it.

Posting the WIP here rather than my art blog though haha ;;;

Anyway. Here is a fanart I am still working on of Yuu and Mitsuba in canonverse where Yuu is in angel form and is holding onto Mitsuba to prevent her from falling.

I'm entering this for YuuMitsu Week, on the King and Queen day.

Since Yuu is the king of Salt.

Bonus Question: Do you prefer canonverse or AU fics in your favorite fandom?

AU but with the canon personality of the characters. It's a bit tricky since you would have to adjust but if the character still feels like the character then amazing.

Also, feedback would be welcome because I still feel like it's incomplete as is. Please message or comment me about some improvements I can do to the fanart. Thanks in advance!

Did you guys do anything for valentine's?

Mitsuba had a blush creep on her cheeks as she thought back to Valentine’s day: Well, we didn’t do anything special really. Thinking back on it now, it was really just Yuu giving me a card and me giving Yuu some chocolates.

Yuu looked at his partner and had a small smirk on his face when he noticed the blush dusting her cheeks: You say that but you’re blushing alot. Are you thinking about what I wrote on the card?

Mitsuba looked down, the tips of her ears now turning red showing how embarrass she was getting under Yuu’s gleeful smirk. Yuu placed a hand under Mitsuba’s chin and gave her a small peck on the lips and kissed her forehead: I meant every word of it Mitsuba. 

Mitsuba’s blush darken as a smile began to spread on her lips: I know. I just- I just can’t believe how cheesy you can be sometimes.

Mitsuba thought back to the card Yuu gave her and recalled the words on it.

Really. Such a stupid cheesy thing to say.
