The play will run at Tokyo's Theater 1010 from September 14-18, and at Kanagawa's Kanagawa Arts Theatre from September 22-24. Naohiro Ise is directing and writing the play, and Kenta Nitta is in charge of stage combat. Good Night World Trailer

The online game "Planet" is home to a powerful team of players going by the name "The Akabane Family," with its members making up a pseudo-family that only exists in-game. Unbeknownst to the players, though, the four are actually all members of a broken, real-life family: a shut-in older brother, a high-achieving younger brother, an un-respected father, and a mother neglecting her household. In the game, The Akabane Family deals with monsters, guild clashes, and the machinations of "Black Bird," the game's final objective. "The tale takes a major turn as it entangles the real world and this real family." (Netflix)

Based on the manga by Uru Okabe, Good Night World is directed by Katsuya Kikuchi from a screenplay by Michiko Yokote. The anime stars the voice talents of Daisuke Hirose (Ichi / Taichiro Arima), Nobunaga Shimazaki (AAAAA / Asuma Arima), Akio Otsuka (Shiro / Kojiro Arima), Aya Endo (May / Miyabi Arima), Aoi Yuki (Pico), Ryohei Kimura (Leon), Hiroki Nanami (Sasumata), Kenjiro Tsuda (Shigatera), Rie Takahashi (Hana Kamuro), and Inori Minase (Aya Arima)

[DLD] Stage play “Heli-X II - Ammonite Syndrome“ DVD English subtitle

Hello, everyone! As I mentioned in the previous post, here comes the  subtitle for the second stage of the Heli-X series, Heli-X II - Ammonite Syndrome. Hopefully I’ll manage to finish the timing for the 3rd one soon as well.

‘In the near future, the entire world is involved in the Third World War. Yamato, who was already an ally of Unite, will become a complete dominated country by the Unite. We have been given only a loose domination. One of the few recognized freedom is Trans. Thus, people can freely choose their gender, abandoning the gender they were born with. By doing so, they obtained powers that surpass normal human abilities. There are various abilities, but those who commit crimes using them also emerged. Fear, envy, hostility, worship...Having mixed feelings, people call those ability users Heli-X.’

Tokyo Vice Season 2 (Feb 2024)

Shogun, Avatar : The Last Airbender & Tokyo Vice in Feb 2024! 🤩

Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger. Spoilers ahead.

Jin Miyamoto (Hideaki Ito) supposedly died after attempting to infiltrate the Yakuza, headed by Shinzo Tozawa (Ayumi Tanida) who later threatened Hiroto Katagiri (Ken Watanabe) and his family.

Sato (Show Kasamatsu) was stabbed multiple times after bidding farewell to Samantha (Rachel Keller). Jake Adelstein (Ansel Elgort) found a tape with disturbing content which he brought to Katagiri.

I hope they do not kill off Sato and Miyamoto. I love their characters. As if to make up for the the two said characters, two new characters will be entering the game:

Shoko Nagata (Miki Maya), a new detective with a more aggressive approach towards the Yakuza than Katagiri's balanced philosophy. She reminds me of Amami Yuki, known for her badassery in Japanese crime dramas. Looking forward to see this character!

With a more aggressive detective, comes a more ruthless Yakuza, Naoki Hayama (Yosuke Kubozuka). No details about his character have been revealed but I look forward to seeing this one too.

I am a true nerd, and as such, continously seek out new media and their fandoms, and become involved with them, while also cyclically coming back to the ones I already love. I am a romantic, and I love seeing love in general (all types of love, not just romantic!), so I am also a very big shipper!

I don't always have a set ship(s) for every fandom I find myself in, nor do I think it necessary to try and "prove" that mine are better than other ships. I like what I like, and I like seeing what others like as well. So I might have OTPs, but I also like engaging with content for all kinds of ships, even true rarepairs.
