This show is PHENOMENAL. Starts as a fairy tale show, slowly starts to discuss fate vs free will and the archetypes that fairy tale characters have to play and what would happen if they could fight the narrative. Also has one of the most perfect endings to Duck's arc that any protagonist could ever have.

The scriptwriter for Kuroshitsuji / Black Butler’s seventh episode is the series composition writer of the baseball series, “Oblivion Battery,” which also airs this season.

No wonder the moves, the know-how’s are there.

Yana T’s editor dubbed this episode “Cowardly Cricket.”

The script was written by Michiko Yokote, who also wrote the series composition for "Oblivion Battery" ⚾️

The Grimm Variations Trailer

Brother Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm collected fairy tales and wrote them into a book. One day, the brothers where telling a fairy tale to their younger beloved sister Charlotte. With a melancholy looks she asked "Do you suppose they really lived happily ever after?" Charlotte's versions of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Town Musicians of Bremen, and The Pied Piper of Hamelin turn out to be quite different than her brothers'.

The Grimm Variations features a screenplay by Michiko Yokote, animation by WIT Studios, music by Akira Miyagawa, and character concepts by CLAMP.

The Grimm Variations hit Netflix on April 17, 2024.

Commissions Open I have a Ko-Fi Social Medias Art © CentaurWorks Character: Lucia Nanami © Pink Hanamori, Michiko Yokote This was an idea I've had for YEARS, ever since I saw promo art featuring Kaito on his board and Luchia, as well as the surfboard she would or was suppose to get. So, I decided to just create it and finally make it into a reality! I was worried at first more so getting the colors and the design right. Getting the water and wave right was also so important to me as without it the feel would be so off. This was also the first one where I went back and forth with using the PC and my new tablet, making the process go a little bit fasterand helping out a LOT to reach the overall finish line.

Good Night World Trailer

The online game "Planet" is home to a powerful team of players going by the name "The Akabane Family," with its members making up a pseudo-family that only exists in-game. Unbeknownst to the players, though, the four are actually all members of a broken, real-life family: a shut-in older brother, a high-achieving younger brother, an un-respected father, and a mother neglecting her household. In the game, The Akabane Family deals with monsters, guild clashes, and the machinations of "Black Bird," the game's final objective. "The tale takes a major turn as it entangles the real world and this real family." (Netflix)

Based on the manga by Uru Okabe, Good Night World is directed by Katsuya Kikuchi from a screenplay by Michiko Yokote. I hope you watch the video and think, ``Wow, this is a CLAMP work.'' There are also characters that don't often appear in CLAMP works, so I hope you enjoy that as well.
