I love you, but not like that
Love doesn't always have to be romantic, and Misako knew that. Somehow it seemed to her that Wu didn't agree with that.
Misako and Wu relationship in the past (if you want I will add one with Garmadon later)
@46674332-Thank you for the request and patience.Hope you have more requests! I would love to write them!
Misako stood in the waiting room of Ninjago City Hospital.
Opposite her was Wu, with his innocent face expression and blue hair. He was staring at something behind her.
She could confidently say that she liked Wu at first sight. But not in that way.
She was attracted to his childlike innocence and naiveté in many things. Without hesitation, she could say he was her favorite among friends.
But recently, things had started to change in their relationship...
"Are you okay?" she asked when she saw him nervously shifting from one side of the chair to the other.
"I'm a little scared," he looked at her with the gaze of a wounded animal.
That was Wu. A man who could jump into any battle against anyone but couldn't receive an injection at the hospital without someone holding his hand.
It only attracted her to him even more.
"It will be okay," she comforted him. "You'll see."
He looked at her again.
Those looks were the reason why she began to feel unsure in their relationship.
Until a few months ago, they were just friends and nothing more. Then he started looking at her like that, and everything changed.
Almost as if he liked her?
That's when she began to doubt her feelings towards him.
Was it really just friendship, or did she not see something more?
"Garmadon...he teased me again today..."
And every time he mentioned Garmadon. She had a good relationship with him, but not as good as with Wu.
He was someone she could easily argue with, someone she could get mad at more easily. She could also confidently say that she really liked him.
Although Wu was more her type, Garmadon attracted her much more. Whenever she thought of him, she could say for sure that Wu didn't like her in that way.
"Don't worry, I won't tease you," she said when she remembered what Wu had said.
He looked at her again.
"But I'm embarrassed."
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about. For example, I'm afraid of spiders and I can't even kill the tiniest one. We all have those fears."
"Garmadon is rude," Wu sighed. "He doesn't know how much his teasing hurts me. He's just...a bad person."
"Don't say that," Misako said, surprised at herself. She felt no hatred towards Garmadon for teasing Wu. She felt only understanding.
"Why do you always defend him?" Wu asked angrily.
"I'm not defending him," Misako defended herself, and Wu looked at her skeptically.
"I sympathize with him. I also enjoy teasing people. Just tell him that it hurts you. I'll tell him if you want."
Wu looked at her as if he wasn't happy about talking to Garmadon about it.
As if he wasn't happy that she and Garmadon were getting closer.
"I don't like doing these things..."
"I know, Wu," Misako said with tenderness. "That's why everyone loves you, because you're a good person."
******
"See, it wasn't scary," Misako said as they were leaving the doctor's office.
He was still ashamed that she had to see him scared like a little child.
"It wasn't", he said quietly, still stealing glances at her.
"Thank you for coming with me." As he looked at her, he wondered if she felt anything towards him like what he felt towards her.
"No problem," she said as she turned to leave. Wu could only watch as she walked away.
"And Wu.."She started unsurly."I love you.i really do,but not like that."
He didn't need to say anything; she read him herself. He was just afraid that he had jeopardized their friendship.
He truly loved her and wanted her to be happy.
He just hoped that they could still spend time together.
He was just afraid that it wouldn't happen for a long time.
He had created a gap between them, he knew.
He would be alone because he would never be able to love anyone else the way he loved her.
And she didn't love him; she had told him that herself. At least not like that.
But maybe there is still a hope?(If dose thing that he started to see between her and Garmadon stop)
Garmadon and Misako talk is coming soon

The color green is cursed /j

[ID: A drawing of Jonathan Sims from the Magnus Archives and Lloyd Garmadon from Lego Ninjago interacting. Jon is a brown man with greying hair, wearing an olive green sweater. Lloyd is a white skinned young adult with blond hair and a green gi.
Jon says to Lloyd, "You're rather persistent for one whose seen so many attempted rituals." To which Lloyd says, "That's because ninja never quit!" Jon responds unamused, "Yes, you've mentioned..." I'll tell you what's up with that! (In my humble opinion of course)
Back in seasons 1 and 2, the serpentine war was SUPPOSED to be ancient Ninjago history. I would say a sort of midway point between the First Spinjitsu Master and nowadays, like 300-500 years ago.
Then, them being forgotten (especially, if that was the goal of the winners) would be believable, and reasonable. Then season 7 waltzes it's inconsistent rear onto the stage like "sike, it was actually forty years ago" fucking up the lore and timeline, magnificently.
Which is hilarious, because the HoT storyline doesn't even require this massive shift. The betrayal still could've been 40 years ago, while leaving the serpentine war alone gee. Especially with Krux being in control of the only museum this city somehow (seriously what is up with THAT.)
The only reason this happened was so Ray and Maya (and all the parents, which is like, what even happened to those dudes, lol. Especially Jay's mom) could be involved in the war. But instead of making Elemental Masters just... have longevity, they fucked up the timeline spectacularly... le sigh.
Even Chen could've been like, using snake venom and dark magic to stay alive or smthing, I dunno...
The timeline I came up with sorta:
1000~ years ago = The era of young ninjago, First Spinjitsu Master and his sons born.
800~500 years ago = Slowly elemental masters, starting with the elements of creation appear.
400~300 years ago = At this point all elements has at least one master, and the Serpentine Wars happen.
200~ years ago = The serpentine wars end
40~ years ago = The Time Twins betray the alliance (for whatever reason lol)
Ofc this would mean that people DO know about the alliance at least, even if the serpentine wars are meticulously erased. That would mean they are only known as keepers of peace, but it would still be a name to live up to I guess. Idk, I'm just throwing ideas at the wall by now I guess.
Also, side question to anyone who has a guess, but when did Morro happen? Before the war and alliance? During? I somehow don't think it was after.
Okay, as far as the serpentine being a myth, the only person who suggested that was Kai, who probably doesn't have much of an education, Zane pushed back on that immediately, so, that might just be Kai, the ask about the Time Twin's being covered up was... semi unrelated(and, considering it was two people vs. the entire species that was the serpentine, believing that the twin's could've been forgotten is a bit more believable)
Was it only Kai? It’s been a minute since I watched season 1. But yeah I could see the EA covering it up about the twins. Especially considering Wu’s EXTREMELY bad habit of keeping secrets for no real reason at all beyond not wanting to look like an ass.
The point about everybody in ninjago treating recent history as ancient still stands though, what is UP with that.
#ninjago#ninjago theory#ninjago thoughts#ninjago hands of time#ninjago serpentine#serpentine wars#ninjago chen#not to mention#this makes a serious hole in history#between the young wu & garmadon era stuff#around a thousand years ago#the fsm era if you will#and the serpentine wars 40 years ago#what happened in that 800-900 years????

ive mentioned before but in terms of age hc the more i think about it the more i really like the idea that lloyd was already technically the same age as / maybe even older than the rest of the ninja when he drank the tomorrow's tea, it's just that his oni/dragon heritage makes him physically age slower than humans, and he continued to age rather slowly after the tea. i like this bc it explains a LOT of things that don't make sense in canon otherwise like
inconsistency in the timeline as to when exactly misako concieved lloyd / when garmadon was cast into the underworld
the fact that misako seems rather old for someone with such a (seemingly) young child
why lloyd's voice didn't drop until s8 and why he STILL struggles to grow facial hair as of DR, despite the tommorow's tea and the length of time likely passing between these events
why his social development wasn't really as hindered as it seems like it should have been due to arteficial ageing (basically, why he seemingly takes ageing up a few years in an instant like a champ)
there's also some details that aren't inconsistencies, but just add some depth to canon with this interpretation
this read would mean that not only was he at darkley's for a lot longer than it would seem, he would have been developmentally out of sync with his peers, isolating him further
it makes his decision to take the tomorrow's tea more complex, bc an extra motivating factor would be to finally be seen as an equal to those his actual age, esp the ninja
adds an extra reason as to why he hesitates in acknowledging his nonhuman heritage
gives further explaination as to why he seeks to emulate wu so much in dragons rising as well. since he hardly got to know his father before his abnormal death and resurrection, wu is the only other oni/dragon hybrid he has as a model for his own socal development
idk there's like a whole slew of ways i can imagine this hc enhances the read and just makes the whole age situation make more sense
#lloyd garmadon#ninjago#its just become a more appealing read 2 me i honestly am shocked i didn't think of it sooner

Having Children With Their Fem! S/O
Characters: Aku, Father, Vilgax and Lord Garmadon Inspired By: Random Thoughts A/N: I know that a couple of these characters either don't like kids or just feel basically nothing for them, but this is just something I had to write! ⚠️ Spoilers/Trigger Warnings for: Operation Zero and the Lego Ninjago Series and mentions of abandonment and divorce ⚠️

»»—————————————- Aku —————————————-««
👹 Aku prided himself on being a heartless being made of consistent darkness. But, when it came to you, his longtime wife who was created by a similar amount of energy, he was fairly fair
👹 He has always been focused on furthering his rule of the pathetic mortals in which he despised to the point where it led to him having seven girls with a woman called the High Priestess, though it was with his magic, he did not do anything disgusting in his opinion with her
👹 Despite knowing he felt nothing towards the woman and only viewed the girls as his personal soldiers, you couldn't help but feel inferior to the Priestess, she has done something that you possibly never could with Aku. Though, you did treat the girls as your own, since their mother seemingly could care less
👹 The one thing that made Aku think of having children with you was seeing you pick up a small group of baby aliens from a clan that wished to be relocated to Earth and begin to tickle them with one of your long claw-shaped fingers
👹 As the aliens left after hearing their conditions of living on his and your planet, Aku looked to you and motioned for you both to return to your personal chambers, which you did willingly and without fear
"My yang, I noticed how you looked at those young Vadaquians with a... warm and wholesome stare. That is completely unlike the lovingly evil woman I married and pledged loyalty too. So, if I may question, what is your issue?"
👹 You sighed and lowered your shoulders before shifting into a tortoise and hiding yourself inside of your shell before announcing it was dumb and he could just not bother himself with your issues
"Y/N, you're my wife of hundreds of years. I decided myself if I wanted to handle your thoughts and worries when I laid that shadow-bonding ring around your finger. Now, what is it your worried about?"
"It's just... you know the girls. I just... I want something like that."
"And that can be arranged with swift ease."
"Wait- really? You'd do that for me?"
"I would do anything for the woman who allows me to feel something other than hatred."
»--•--«
👹 And that he did. Just 9 months after the events of Samurai Jack's return and renewing the top-hunted foe to be the time-traveled man, you welcomed a young boy, whom Aku named Oni
👹 You smiled and lightly ran your hands against the baby's long trio set of horns that matched his fathers as his large pure-white eyes opened with tiny specks of white fire erupting from them. When it came to appearance, he took after his father, though your color scheme popped more than the Shogun of Sorrow's
"Ah, there is my little boy and woman!"
"And there is my stubborn husband."
"Hey now! Don't get me wrong, I wanted to be here for the special event, but I needed to get that Samurai fool out of my way again. He almost found the portal back to his time, and if he does..."
"Oni doesn't live..."
"Correct. This is all for him, and us, and I suppose his sisters and their mother."
👹 Chuckling as your baby began to shift his way to his father, the demonic being allow him to sit on his horns, giggling as he acted like the man he has observed for the past few weeks over the small portal that showed him and Jack's fight, but mainly him
"He will be the perfect next generational heir, don't you think?"
"Yes. I do, Aku."

»»———————- Benedict 'Father' Wigglestein ———————-««
🔥 It was no secret that your husband was far from a child-guy. He constantly provided evidence that he hated kids beyond any kind of recognition. He even hated the children that you two were forced to adopt
🔥 When Benedict married you, he laid it out plain as day that he never planned on having children, and you wholeheartedly accepted that
🔥 But, ever since the Delightful Children from Down the Lane joined your family and therefore home, you began to crave having an actual family. One not bounded by a Delightfulization-Chamber, but by blood and the love you two shared for one another
🔥 And while it was easy to think this all without saying it out-loud, even beginning to wonder about how he would reply was enough to make you want to curl up into a ball and stay there forever
🔥 Thankfully the sound of a five-way synchronized knock allowed you to be free of your thoughts. And you merely sat up from your desk and called to the children to come on inside
"Good afternoon, Mother. Father wishes your presence in his office."
🔥 You smiled at the kids and gave them each a pat on their heads before allowing them to walk to their rooms and get ready for bed. Once each of their doors closed you grabbed your husband's notebook, suspecting that was what he needed
🔥 He has a bad habit of leaving stuff in your room. Honestly he needs a better sleep schedule (not me scolding him when I barely sleep😐)
🔥 While the door to his office opened, you took a deep breath and readied yourself, hoping that his day wasn't filled with a ton of disappointments. You may be his wife, but his anger was something not even you could escape
🔥 You noticed that there was a lack of anything on fire, so, you took the chance to make some small chit-chat while your husband worked away on some papers and beckoned with his hand for you to hand him his notes
"My dear, I've been wondering how your day's been."
"It's been decent, better than normal thankfully."
"Well... there is one thing I've been meaning to speak to you about, if you don't mind-"
"If the children have done something, I swear to-"
"No! No, no! The children have done perfectly well since the last incident. It's just... oh nevermind, it's nothing that important."
🔥 Benedict went from staring intently at his paperwork to looking at your seemingly guilt-ridden face and his yellow eyes narrowed, which was prominent from the darkness of his suit
"Y/N, everything you say is important to me. Well, as long as it has nothing to do with random cravings, because those have been getting worse and worse over the past few days."
"Yeah, about that..."
"I mean, you're acting like how Monty would call and describe his wife when she was pregnant with his boy."
🔥 Oh this was pointless. Reaching into the pocket of your black hoodie that Ben gifted you for your birthday just days prior, you pulled out a small box and laid it down in front of him
"What's this for?"
"Just- open it, please."
"Is this a... pregnancy test? Oh sweet sasperilla, you're pregnant?! But I- we..."
"I understand that you aren't fond of children, so we don't have to have them if you don't want to."
"Do... you want the child?"
"I would prefer to give them a shot at life than to not."
"Then... okay. We can have the child... if you want too. This shouldn't only be my choice, it should also be yours. I may hate children to a degree but, I cannot hate you and your choices."
"Thank you."
"Yeah, yeah. Now, if it's a boy, can we name it Benedict Wigglestein III?"
"No."
»--•--«
🔥 The sound of the collected family in the hospital's main room rung freely as the members of the Uno Family and the Wigglestein Family all wondered how you were doing in the delivery room. Ever since your screams stopped, Monty couldn't help but fear you were hurt to the point of possible surgery
🔥 All of a sudden, his brother walked out of the doors with a mixture of both traumatized and happiness written on his face, though it was mainly in his eyes
"Ben? How's Y/N and the baby?"
"I... I have twins..."
"Wait- twins?! Aw! A boy and a girl?"
🔥 Monty smiled at his wife before ushering his brother back into your room and patting his shoulder in assurance. And he couldn't help but chuckle as his brother walked into the room where you and your children no doubt were
🔥 He couldn't be anymore proud of him

»»—————————————- Vilgax —————————————-««
🐙 While living for many years as a Warlord was something that many only viewed your husband as being, it was his closest allies and people that saw who he was outside of his work; a loyal and caring husband
🐙 As a member of the Chimera Sui Generis species, training for battle was a big part of your childhood. And when you first met your future spouse by training to be top-servers of your planet, he was smitten
🐙 Overtime you witnessed the destruction and new colonization of planets. And since you serves as his right-hand, Vilgax and you would see many types of families, the most common being fathers, mothers and their children
🐙 And seeing the male and female members of the army grow and expand with their families adding more members, you couldn't help but wonder; would this ever happen for you and Vilgax?
🐙 Normally he was busy with his work, so getting a decent time to speak one-on-one with your husband was hard. Nonetheless trying to talk about something so important to both you and your lives together
🐙 You were beginning to lose faith in actually talking to him, but when one of Vilgax's best men came inside of the control room you turned around and recognized him to be the one who always guarded the emergency medic and doctor's zone of the ship
"What is it you need, Soldier Axiomar?"
"Doctor Xiliv has requested her for a quick check-up, since she has been complaining of some stomach issues as of late."
"Alright. Would you like me to accompany you, Y/N?"
"I think I'll be alright... really."
🐙 Giving you a kiss on the forehead, Vilgax focused back on the coordinates of their way to Earth. You just nodded to Axiomar as he lead you to the medical room where Xiliv was waiting
🐙 Deep inside as you sat on the frequently cleaned chair, you knew what the Doctor and Medic were going to say
"Your highness, it appears that you- well."
"I know."
"Do you want us to tell Lord Vilgax or not?"
"He'll find out either way, but I'll tell him, it just makes it easier for me."
"Understood."
🐙 As the large alien walked through the halls to his and your shared quarters, he wondered why you had been acting far more nervous and weary throughout the rest of the day. Maybe you had some kind of illness?
🐙 The sound of the doors opening and closing behind your form made you spin around quick. And Vilgax merely chuckled, from calm and composed to having their guard-up in no time. You really were a soldier by heart
"Y/N. What is it you needed to speak about? It better not be something I cannot fix. Because that would be near impossible. I would destroy the galaxy for you."
"It's no illness. Unless you consider a child an illness."
"Pardon, a what?"
»--•--«
🐙 Despite his initial hesitation in being a father and raising a young Chimera Sui Generis, but after gaining advice from some of his closest allies, some would say friends, he gained the extra bravery to face the next step in life with you
🐙 He stood beside your bed as you chuckled at the sight of your baby girl. Long tentacles in the shape of elongated human hair, a small, pink wrap being around her as her tiny red eyes blinked while giggles rang through the room
"She's beautiful."
"Just like you, love."
"What should we name her?" Doctor Xiliv asked.
"How about Shaviv? It means ray of life."
"It's perfect."

»»——————————- Lord Garmadon ——————————-««
🌋 This guy has never seen himself as an ideal parent. I mean, he literally was bitten by a serpent that made him an evil tyrant in the end and he didn't take a part in his son growing up due to his unfortunate incident
🌋 And while he praises himself on not being the man he once was before, there was always a lingering bit in his heart that stayed away from being corrupted. A piece of the old Garmadon in there. Hidden away
🌋 Over time he switched from evil to good, and that was how he met you
🌋 You were the sister of Ray, the previous Master of Fire before Kai took up the mantle. Growing up with Ray meant you were also trained in the art of being a ninja, though it was with the element of light that you controlled and not fire
🌋 Over the time of them being missing, you raised your niece, Nya, and nephew, Kai, and helped Garmadon's brother, Wu, train them and their friends. And as the serpent-bitten male grew into darker habits, you remained a beckon that he couldn't help but admire
🌋 Once he redeemed himself and helped fight against many enemies alongside you and the kids, he began to get close to both you and your old friend/next-door neighbor, Vinny Folson. And let's just say that the closeness evolved beyond simple friendship
🌋 While Misako was reluctant to accept Garmadon had another lover, she noticed just how caring you were and she began to bond with you with her ex-husband and son. In fact, she was the one to ask if you two were planning on taking the next step from just marriage to having children, much to you and his fluster
🌋 After the incident of the question with Misako. Garmadon told Vinny that you two would be out for a few days and that if he needed something, he could call. And as you two began to travel to a remote and well-taken-care-of cabin just outside of Ninjago, he began to let out a small amount of chit-chat
"Hey, Y/N... I have a question."
"What is it?"
"With what Misako said yesterday... at dinner. I was wondering if- you know."
"If I wanted kids?"
"Yeah... and I understand if you wouldn't! I'm not the best guy to have children with, just ask my ex-wife."
"Garmadon!"
🌋 Spinning his head to look at you, Garmadon watched you with observant eyes as you smiled gently and held his hand with one of yours and his face with the other. And he smiled as you nodded, small tears pricking his eyes as you laid your forehead upon one another's
»--•--«
🌋 The sound of cries erupting from a woman's hands made the people sitting in the waiting room look up in surprise and slight glee. Seven of the large group looked at the nurse and she took them all back, warning them that you would probably need some space
"Is that..."
"It is. Everyone, meet Nisshoku."
"Aw! I have a nephew now! Let's go!"
"Shut it, Ray."

#3 What if...
Garmadon becomes aware that Misako abandoned Lloyd when he was still at Darkly's?
Lloyd knew from a young age that he wasn’t normal. That glowing red eyes and long, sharp canines were inhuman, but they also brought him close to his father.
After all, it was the skulkins that worked at Darkly’s School for Bad Boys that told him (well in not so quiet whispers he happened to overhear) that they thought Lord Garmadon was looking at them when Lloyd peered at them with his red eyes. However, that’s where much the similarities ended, for no evil warlord was a short eight year old boy with a bowl-cut. However much he tried to imitate his father from the terrified rumors he heard of him, he always fell short. He couldn’t be an evil genius, or a merciless warrior, or a cruel warlord because he was too good, but what could they know? He was going to rule by his father’s side and they would bow before him someday.
“Muwahahahaha,” Lloyd laughs evilly.
‘Then, the other students and teachers would fear me for my power and respect me as my father’s son. They would stop calling me a monster, or else they would pay!’ Lloyd thinks practicing his evil laugh some more.
‘But then if I hurt others would I finally be a monster on the inside too if I did that?’ Lloyd thinks. ‘No, thinking of others is bad! That’s how I failed my Bad Ethics 101 class!’
‘Ugh, that’s not important, what’s important is delivering this letter, no message, to my dad.’
Lloyd scrambles down the hallway quickly trying to avoid the other students, lest he’ll be on the bad end of a vicious prank. Lloyd had burning questions, no missives, he needed answered! Missives he hoped would get answered on this letter:
Dear Lord Garmadon,
This is Lloyd Garmadon your son and future right hand man to your dark empire! I was just wondr wand thinking if I could skip school and come work with you now. Now I no I am only 8, but I have a lot of pott potanc potencial, and would love like to start working with you!
Oh and I have your red eyes! And fangs! Does your skin ever feel really itchy too? Like your um too big or is it too small? I don’t now but I think you get it, cause you now every thing.
But if you no every thing why didn't you ever come see me?
I’m sure whoever my mom is left me here so I could work with you when I gradate, but I want to start now and I am ready. I was left here at 3 so I had lots more time to learn and prak practa practice being evil than the others. So please please let me work with you!
Love From Lloyd Garmadon,
Son of the Super Evil Lord Garmadon
and Future Dark Ruler
Lloyd spent the whole day in the library perfecting his letter. He wanted it to be perfect. Thankfully, he knew how to read and spell somewhat well, but the teachers never thought learning how to read or write beyond the minimum was that important.
But Lloyd finished his letter, and it was finally ready to be delivered to his dad. He just hoped that his dad would answer, and even better if he could get out of this school and work with his father!
Lloyd clutched the letter carefully as if it was his most prized possession, and hurried to the mailroom. After all, even evil kids have parents and guardians and need a way of sending things to and from the school.
Notes:
The letter has grammar and spelling mistakes on purpose, but I felt it necessary to include, as I feel that Lloyd hasn’t had the most well-rounded education, not to mention that I sure didn’t spell too well when I was 8 either.
Needless to say, this letter does reach Garmadon, and he is furious with Misako. He will do whatever it takes to take care of his son since apparently no one else will!

Back to Ninjago ✨
I was drawing this. For 72 full hours (spread out trough like-3 months)
It doesn't look like I put 72 hours into this... (I swear my confidence went like a drunk rollecoaster while making this piece)
But alas, it is done, and I worked too hard not to share it. Behold the elemental alliance. (I can't draw armor. So the design changes are mostly because of that)
I totally got the Masters of Sound and Gravity the first few times, which is quite hilarious cause the Master of Gravity spends quite some of his screentime flying, but oh well.
Also, I tought they were related (for no particular reason) hence the positioning on the picture.
The guy on the left side of the picture was literally listed as "unknown elemental master" and I literally only added him so the proportions were more balanced (also so noone could argue it isn't finished)
I feel like his power was supposed to be lightning (based on the outfit) but then season 6 happened, and he was quietly retconned to make way for libber. I hesitated making it a father daughter situation, with him passing his powers on faster than Cole's grandfather to Lilly, but in the end, settled for making him a Master of Light.
Lilly and her father joined together, but neither of them are sure why it took so long for the power to pass down (probably after or at the very end of the First Serpentine War). They were both the type to understand it's war, and those rarely have a happy ending (in general, these people were kinda forced into this role because of their powers, some of them pretty young) Maybe the late heritance caused issues with Lilly's immune system leading to an early death? 👀🥺
I like to think the old Master of Earth was a mother hen of sons just as Lilly (it's genetic a this point). The above picture happened sometime after Garmadon's banishment.
Libber (or whatever they call the previous Master of Lightning) turned out really cute, I'm probably most satisfied with her (also gave her freckles to match Jay). I feel like we massively missed out on having her be the one to make/power Prime Empire. I mean, I get they wanted to save the mom storyline for MotM, but I'm sure you can write two separate stories revolving around parents. I also believe she joined really young, probably the youngest (and she was a menace. Also imagine if she was friends with the twins, the tragedy)
Wu and Garmadon pretty much have their canon designs (I like that they are dressed the most "traditional" out of everyone) except I added a bit more purple and gold respectively. Also, I'll mention it here, every active elemental masters have eye colours matching their elements, and their pupils are light (giving way to theories about them not even being human). The spinjitzu bros have "rings" around their pupils in the opposite color (purple for Wu, gold for Garmadon) showing the link between them and their powers.
When Garmadon is banished, Wu's eyes become completely gold, affected by their severed connection (and Garm has red eyes, but normally his would have become purple as well) Also, I kinda traced the text on their gi, cause I'm not drawing that from memory 😅
Master of Shadow was one of the first to join the Alliance, but is not the youngest member, she wanted a peaceful solution at the start, and like most of the earlier members, have a more nuanced view on the war, probably even had serpentine acquitances, which is why she looks so sad a lot of the time.
I see Ray and Maya as a kinda golden retriever, black cat dynamic. Maya was incredibly skilled, cold and precise, and one of the deadliest elemental masters (I was cooking up some story about a warrior clan she grew up in, but it's up for interpretation).
Ray meanwhile lives by the principle of "They can't know my next step... if I don't know my next step." Runs in, swords blazing, most people fighting him are just sort of. Perplexed at first.
And of course Maya didn't like him at first, but it's really hard to dislike Ray long term. (Which is how he also became Wu's best friend, despite him trying to hold a 'polite acquitances' type of relationship with the Ems. Ray is just like that) But she fell first.
Either this happened, or he went ahead of the trouble and asked him first.
Anyways, back to the topic at hand (working a lot on this means I had a lot of time to microwave these dudes, this post is looong)
Master of Ice is just that one kind of slightly creepy wise old man, who just... knows stuff. Everyone just sort of accepted that you don't ask him how or why he knows stuff, he just does. Wu and Garmadon have a tendency to follow him around (cause he's pretty similar to their father in a way), which kinda translates to everyone following him around like little ducks (even when he barely socialises with anyone lol).
Design for Master of Ice is inspired by @maydayissleepy, go check out their art!
And I already made a bunch of posts about Hands of Time and the time twins, but design wise, I just made a new one (to avoid the complex armor). When in battle, it's basically impossible to tell the two of them apart. Also, they have heterochromia because they both have two powers technically. The murky brown we see in the show is because they lost the power, but are still technically the Masters of Time, since it never passed on (if the blades broke somehow it would go back to them)
I feel like they joined later (even way later, which is why they clashed so much with the alliance) which is why they aren't mentioned in the early flashbacks (and also cause they didn't exist yet), and went kinda gungho on the war, not really knowing (or caring) for it's nuances.
Anyways, let me know what you think!

As much as i like writing the tempest duo (Garmadon and Morro) as two menaces to society filled with sarcasm,
(TW: mentions of death, large insecurities in ones self worth)
I also like to imagine Morro sobbing desperately as he finally breaks down after accepting he no longer has to try, wailing as he tries to contain it when he screams “Everyone lied to me.” As he stares up at a blank faced Garmadon.
I imagine him screeching from everything crashing down again, because he has been a teenager for far too long, that “they filled me with hope, Garmadon. Hope they shouldn’t give to someone who is hopeless.”
And as he keeps screeching in sorrow, from the snap that was long coming (and has not and will not be the last time), as he punches the immovable chest in front of him, as he yells and yells about how he just wanted to be worth it, about how he was told he could be someone important, when he was never important. About how he wishes he had simply died on the streets so he wouldn’t be plagued by the guilt and horrors he had faced and caused,
He feels arms tightly wrap around him as they trap him against the immovable chest, and he struggles and yells at the other, insults tumbling out.
And as Garmadon wraps his arms securely around the boy who had no one secure in his life, he refuses to let this damn teenager fall into the same despair of loneliness and misunderstanding as he did.
At one point, Garmadon used to ignore Morro’s ‘tantrums’. It took him time to truly listen, and understand the boy in front of him was nothing like Wu, and completely and utterly like Garmadon.
(Like how his own son was so much like Wu)
It terrified the man, knowing the cycle had continued. Wu and Garmadon, Lloyd and Morro. He can’t let go of Morro because then he would be letting go of the little oni and dragon hybrid destined for evil yet so tiny and innocent.
He won’t ever let go of Morro because he sees a little brown haired boy who fell down a path they never wished for, and he will never let go of that boy.
He will never let go of Morro, like how Wu never let go of Lloyd.
And as the teenager who has been so young for so long loses the fight against the immovable arms, the once four armed oni feels tears drench his shirt as sobs echo across the field.
Morro will never be a good person. He will never run away from his past.
But he doesn’t have to do it alone, and it would be too much effort to get rid of someone who gets it even better than he does.
Garmadon will never let go. He won’t ever let go of someone he loves (?) again when he can save them.

Hi!
I was wondering if you can do headcanons for Sensei G and the reader who was his friend's daughter who he treats like his own.
Kinda like the reader was his student when she was younger (before the venom took control) and is his student now.
Sorry if this is confusing
Of course! I hope I did this request some justice, it's super cute!! ^^
Ninjago - Being Garmadon's Pupil Before and After He Was Evil
Before the venom, Garmadon loved teaching you
At first he'd only taken you in as a favor for a friend
He had his doubts, mainly about you
But you were just a bright young spirit, eager to learn, full of passion
The second he realized this, he decided there'd be no greater honor than being your teacher
He only hoped that he could do right by you
He sometimes wondered if he was a good teacher, but your unending admiration of him reassured him that he must be doing something right
He liked to push you hard, which often made you irritated
He knew that in the end you'd be thanking him; that's what he told himself so that he could endure your (temporary) hatred of him
But when the venom started to take control...
He pushed you even harder, starting to enjoy your suffering more than he enjoyed the prospect of teaching you
You started to sense this, but you didn't have any proof until he pushed you way too hard one day
You were hurt so badly during a training session that you were knocked unconscious; more than that, you were knocked off a cliffside
That was the last time you saw Garmadon for a long time
Your final memory of him was his seething eyes as he struck you ruthlessly one last time, sending you toppling over a cliff's edge and into the icy ocean
His last memory of you was that terrified look on your face, not from the fact that you'd just fallen off a cliff, but from the realization that you no longer recognized the man before you
In the moment he was too enthralled by your failure, but that face would come to haunt him in later years
Actually, it was one of the things that helped him decide to reform himself
He had hoped to do right by you, and he had failed
You spent years out on your own as a nomad, too depressed to return home
You couldn't believe that your master would betray you like that, and you had to do some soul-searching
It broke your heart to hear that Garmadon had turned evil, and you always turned your head distastefully whenever you heard someone mention his name
But one day, you heard that he had been reformed
Instead of turning your head away, you turned towards the speaker
It was... a younger version of Garmadon?
He came over to introduce himself, and you were shocked to learn that this was Garmadon's son
He was just as shocked when he heard your name; he said that his father had told him your story
He insisted that you come back with him to the monastery, and though you were hesitant, you eventually agreed
Garmadon just about cried when he saw your face
He threw his arms around you, apologizing endlessly
You were both crying, just hugging each other for a while
When you pulled apart, he asked with teary eyes if you'd become his student once again
You nodded vigorously; after all these years, you'd wanted nothing more than just that
You became his star pupil once more, and Lloyd became a friendly rival of yours
You guys kind of have an older sister/younger brother relationship, complete with immature teasing and competition
(Garmadon never tells you this, but you were actually the reason he wanted to have a kid in the first place)
Sorry this turned out kinda long, but thanks for your request! And thank you for reading, take care lovely duckies <33

Not everything is as it seems
Thanks Sophie for the request!!Sorry for waiting.
Lord Ras tries to prevent Lloyd from being born by traveling to the past. He plans to do this by preventing Garmadon from signing Wu's love letter for Misako.
"Soon..." Lord Ras hissed through clenched teeth. "I will rid myself of you forever, green ninja!"
"I wouldn't count on that," Lloyd replied with a grin. "I have far too many good ninjas on my side!"
"That won't help you," Lord Ras retorted, his eyes flashing."Not if I travel to the past!"
"What will you do there?" Nya inquired. "Stop him from being born?"
"Precisely!" Lord Ras declared. "And I know exactly how."
"We must stop him!" Kai shouted.
"But how?" Sora asked desperately. "He’s already creating a portal!"
"Everyone, attack!" Lloyd shouted and bolted toward Lord Ras, attempting to strike him, but Ras threw him to the ground.
"How do you plan to prevent my very existence?" Lloyd panted.
"You remember that love letter, right?" Lord Ras whispered into his ear. "If that letter never reaches your father..."
"No!" Lloyd screamed. "Mom said that it isn't"
"I'm not saying she will marry Wu," Lord Ras grinned. "But she definitely will not marry Garmadon!"
"You can't know that." Lloyd shoved him back with his powers.
"Then let's find out!" Lord Ras yelled as he leaped into the portal.
"No..." Lloyd cried as he jumped in after him.
"Lloyd, wait!" Nya shouted, running after him. At that moment, the portal closed behind them.
"Nya?" Lloyd whispered quietly.
"Shh!" Nya gestured for Lloyd to be silent as they looked around.
"Wow," Lloyd breathed. "Ninjago looks so different 40 years ago... luminous."
"It really does," Nya agreed, helping Lloyd to his feet. "We need to find some different clothes... No one must see us."
"I agree," Lloyd said and rushed after Nya. ~~~~~~
"Aha, there you are." Lord Ras smirked as he took hold of the letter. "You're finished, green ninja..."
Saying this, he redirected the letter to Misako’s address.
~~~~~~
"We look a little strange," Lloyd swallowed as he observed what they had donned.
"It doesn't matter," Nya shot back with determination. "We will do our best to stay out of sight. If only we knew what Ras was planning."
"I know," Lloyd said sadly. "He plans to prevent Dad from ever signing Master Wu's love letter to Mom."
"Oh," Nya sighed. "Then we must intercept him!"
"Wait!" Lloyd called out to Nya. "I’m not sure..."
"What?" Nya looked at him with confusion.
"Mom has said multiple times that that letter is not the reason she married Dad..."Lloyd started, "And that’s not fair."
"I'm not saying they will never marry each other," Nya whispered. "But that letter brought them together...
The past is changing, the future is changing. Who knows, maybe Garmadon writes something of his own."
"I don't believe it," Lloyd said sadly. "If we must..."
"No," Nya said in a panic, grabbing Lloyd's arm.
"What?"Then Lloyd noticed.
"The portal..."Nya frowned."Let's hope you’re right and nothing really changes.
Lord Ras has certainly expedited his work."
~~~~~~
Misako frowned as she read the letter.
She didn’t know... Well, until now she hadn’t known Wu had feelings for her.
If only Garmadon felt the same. She sighed and placed the letter on the table.
If only it were from Garmadon...
She hadn’t heard a single word from him since he left to train under Chen.
~~~~~~
"Did you fix everything?" Kai panted as Nya and Lloyd returned.
"No..." Nya said sadly. "It was..."
"Lloyd, where is your hand ?" Arin shouted in alarm.
~~~~~~
"Misako," Garmadon pleaded. "I just want to talk."
"About what?" Misako shot back, avoiding his gaze.
"You know what about," Garmadon said softly. "About us."
"And now you want to talk about it?" Misako sighed. "You left to train under Chen for far too long and didn’t even send a word.
Now you show up when the war has begun and expect everything to be the same as before?"
"I... uh..." Garmadon swallowed hard. "I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to disappear. I just didn’t know how..."
"Fine." Misako shrugged and turned to walk into the house.
"No!" Garmadon shouted, gently catching her arm.
Misako stopped and looked him in the eye this time.
"I truly thought about you every day," he confessed. "I didn’t have the courage to say this before... but I love you."
"Save that for when the war is over," Misako finally softened.
"Who knows when that will be?"Garmadon frowned.
"Soon."Misako looked at him thoughtfully. "When you're here, right? At least that’s what the others say about the element..."
"Don’t listen to what they say," Garmadon said sadly. "Right now, it’s not going well for us."
Misako fell silent, gazing off into the distance.
"I didn’t just come back for that at first..." Garmadon began after a while.
"And for what?" Misako asked, curiosity piqued.
"I wanted to ensure you were safe," Garmadon took her hand.
"Don’t worry about me," Misako told him.
"...And that you won’t get too close to Serpentine."Garmadon added,
"We’ll see about that."Misako replied, frowning,
"Please take care of yourself.Take care of yourself and others if we don’t succeed at every moment."Garmadon finished.
"I will," Misako affirmed, standing on her toes to kiss him on the cheek.
"And you take care. Finish this as soon as possible." Garmadon smiled.
She hadn’t said she loved him, but he knew that kiss was more than just brotherly affection.
"Do you want to come in?" Misako interrupted his thoughts as she opened the door.
"Of course," Garmadon replied softly, stepping in after her.
~~~~~~
"Well, it’s good," Arin sighed. "I haven’t seen her beacouse of the rock.."
"How did you not succeed then?" Sora asked, puzzled.
Lloyd and Nya exchanged glances and smiled.
"Let’s just say that Lord Ras doesn’t quite understand the past like he thinks he does," Lloyd said to the others.
"You will tell us all about it later," Kai said. "For now, we need to deal with Lord Ras."
~~~~~~
"How are you still here?!" Lord Ras exclaimed in disbelief as he spotted Lloyd. "How did you stop me?"
"We didn't,” Nya shrugged. “You’re simply not as clever as you think you are."
"And you don’t know my parents," Lloyd added. "And now you’re over. Let’s go, Ninja-go!"

Garmadon Family Headcanons
☆ That night, after the fight with the overlord (the 1st time) and Garmadon returned to the side of good him, Misako and Lloyd embraced eachother and cried (happy tears dw) Wu isn't much of a hugger so he put his hand on his brother's shoulder and squeezed it tightly. His big brother had returned.
☆ (he isn't part of the Garmadon family but I wanted to add this) Garmadon spoke with Kai and apologised for his childish behaviour when he was staying on the Bounty with them as Lord Garmadon he also thanked him for looking after Lloyd. Kai pulled the ol' "it was nothing don't mention it" and the two shook hands. Their rivalry was put to rest, and an allyship had been formed.
☆ Garmadon had a serious talk with his wife (it was long overdue), and Misako admitted her complicated feelings towards Wu. It stung to hear, but he sat, held her hands in his, and listened attentively, not once taking his eyes off her. Once she was finished, the two decided that they wanted to give their relationship another chance and start fresh.
☆ While Lloyd was training, Garmadon and Misako spent a lot of time together catching up, drinking tea, and reminiscing. Sometimes, Wu would join them, and he'd tell them stories about Lloyd as a rebellious young child.
☆Garmadon and Lloyd paint/draw together outside when the weather is nice. Misako would bring them out some lunch, and they'd eat as a family.

vita mutatur, non tollitur
"vita mutatur, non tollitur" - life is changed, not taken away.
Morro builds a new life for himself, starting with a cat.
Warnings: Mental health issues, self-indulgent fic, possibly ooc Morro?
Extra: I wanted to give Morro a redemption arc and a cat, and decided that the Ninja and Wu will not be there to cause drama until after Morro's redemption arc. I've been working on this for so long-
Morro is revived alongside Garmadon not Garmadon, his unc- the man he knew was kind and would never hurt his son. That... thing is a monster in the crude shape of Garmadon's husk. He's given a choice, but instead of picking a side with the Ninja or Garmadon, he goes into hiding, stalking the grimy, abandoned streets of Ninjago.
Wu and most of the Ninja are presumed dead, the remaining Water Ninja and Green Ninja hate him, and Garmadon is not the same man he met 40-some years ago.
Where does he go? What does he do? What purpose does he have?
The wind doesn't seem to respond as much anymore. As expected, why would such a powerful, amazing element be wasted on a good-for-nothing like Morro?
The wind master wanders the streets, barely convincing himself each morning to keep on living.
The human body is very finicky; needs sleep, needs food, needs water, it's so needy.
He finds a small cat. A little, skinny but fluffy black cat with crusty green eyes and the saddest meow you've ever heard.
He shouldn't take in the cat. He can barely take care of himself, not to mention he'd just forget about feeding it. He'll probably end up hurting it like he hurts everyone else around him, so he really shouldn't take it in.
...but feeding it sometimes wouldn't be horrible. Eating with it makes Morro feel just a little less alone.
But nothing else.
—
He feeds her it every day. He eats with it, so, if just out of convenience, he's always near the scrawny kitten whenever he decides to eat, he pretends he doesn't notice. She might be growing on him.
He lets her- it sleep with him. The thing is so small, it shivers itself to sleep. The poor kitten will die in the winter. He curls around her protectively to stave off the elements. His element is kind enough to avoid blasting them with sharp gales of frozen air.
Morro is never seen without her. The locals call him "Black Cat Man", as she's always visible peering curiously out of his hood, resting on his shoulders. She's gained weight, and is looking more healthy, rather than emaciated.
—
Maybe she should have a name.
"Shadow?" No.
"Midnight?" No.
"Ash?" No. Light nip on the ear.
"...Violet?" Purring and a nuzzle to the cheek.
When Lloyd and the Ninja liberate the city, Morro helps.
Not much, but he helps. He guides crowds of escapees to safe locations, escorts people out of unstable buildings, finds people trapped in rubble; he helps.
Violet cheers up some siblings that got separated from their parents. The family reunites, and the children ask for a black cat.
Wu is alive. He looks strangely young, but he is alive.
Morro cries in an alleyway when he is finally alone. With Violet, of course. He missed his Sensei.
Part of him considered trying to return. Arriving one day to the monastery, the doors wide open and Wu waiting for him. To apologize for everything he did and just be his student again.
But, he can't. He's hurt too many people, hurt those his sensei care for. Hurt Lloyd.
He cannot return.
He will imagine anyways.
Morro got a job. Apparently, he fit the "emo-punk vibe" the store was going for. He doesn't know exactly what they mean by that, but at least he doesn't have to steal food anymore.
He also got an apartment. It is quite small, but enough space for him and Violet. The place came with furniture and appliances, so he bought cat supplies and clothes. The wind elemental was told by a worker that he had an outdated style – she pushed him over to a store that had, in her words, "alternative clothing", which "fit his vibe" more.
He thinks she's right after trying on a few outfits.
Her name is Eryn. She gives him her phone number, the nickname "Stripes", and tells him, "Once you get a phone, call me up, 'kay Stripes?"
—
Morro thinks Eryn's pretty cool. Likes her... "vibe". Is he using that word correctly?
New slang is so weird.
He's saving up for a phone, which is easy because the place he works at, Skreeming Skullz, pays a good amount of money. As long as rent doesn't raise too high.
He meet two of his neighbors; Acid and Maggie. They're dating, and live together. Acid is something they call "non-binary", which means they aren't male or female.
Morro understands, he feels the same way. He tells Acid this, and they introduce him to all of the different "genders" and "pronouns". He thinks he may be agender.
It doesn't matter to him; he's still Morro.
Whenever their landlord tries to bring up rent, the three of them do things like break windows, yell loudly, graffiti walls, and generally make living suck a little more. Some of their other neighbors do the same thing.
He asks Maggie why. "We're rebellin'," she says. "We're tellin' 'em that we won' pay more to live here, n' no one else'll wanna live in a buildin' with broken windows and rowdy ass neighb'rs."
Violet has gotten much bigger. Morro uses to be able to hold her with one hand, now she fits into his arms, provided he cradles her like a baby.
He also brought her to the veterinarian, got her vaccinated, tested, and given a check up. She is perfectly healthy, surprising considering she grew up on the streets. The vet said Violet looks like a Maine Coon, which means she'll get much bigger. They think she's about 7 months old.
His powers are slowly returning. It reminds him of when he first unlocked his powers. He had to focus to even shift around leaves.
He works to become better. Not like he did with Wu; to become the Green Ninja. He practices because he loves his element. He tentatively told Eryn, Acid, and Maggie about his powers. He thinks they may have made the connection that he's the ghost from the Stiix Incident.
They don't act differently.
—
Morro is... happy. He has a purpose. He's friends with Eryn, they made friendship bracelets and she promised that, no matter how "kooky" or "messed up" he is, she is his friend. He's Violet's caretaker. He's Maggie and Acid's neighbor. He's the Master of Wind.
...
He still misses Sensei Wu.
Most times, Morro's happy. He goes on walks with Violet, catches up on history at the library, texts Eryn modern slang questions, and hikes to the top of hills to feel the breeze.
Sometimes, Morro's sad. He sits around with the old, rickety blinds as shut as possible. He eats cold leftovers from three days ago. He questions if he deserved any of this. On those days, Violet carries over her brush and purrs contentedly as Morro grooms her dark fur. She always makes him feel a bit better. Makes the bad days not as bad.
Sometimes, Morro's angry. He soaks in the silence of his internal fuming. He yells incoherently. He repeatedly hits the wooden table. He complains to Violet about destiny's unfairness.
He isn't angry as often anymore. He has another worth, another purpose, he doesn't need to be the Green Ninja; doesn't need to be Lloyd.
—
The Ninja aren't in Ninjago City much. According to rumors, they're finally rebuilding the monastery.
Ninjago City is rebuilding as well. Morro volunteers around the city, when he can.
It's good that the Ninja aren't often there anymore. His throat seizes and his heart bangs against his ribcage like it's imprisoned whenever he sees the Green Ninja, or the Water Ninja, or Sensei Wu. He cannot be caught.
Morro helps people from getting attacked by fiery snakes, and watches the Prime Empire attack happen through NGTV News at home with Acid, Eryn, and Maggie.
He ventures out more when the Ninja leave to Shintaro.
He finds a nice, serene coffee shop with decent prices. There's a kind barista there, they smell of lavender and coffee, and have a bunch of piercings in their face. Their name is Salem. They used to go to college with Eryn.
Morro's powers are going crazy. He doesn't often use them, unless it's a "rot day", as Maggie calls them. Apparently, when Morro doesn't feel like doing anything because he's done too much, that's normal for some people, and he shouldn't be chastised or forced to work more. He was a bit shocked by this, as that was always Wu's first go-to solution. Then again, that old fool was quite outdated. Morro mostly use them to check for people or to get things out of reach.
He shatters a plate, which scares Violet. Acid and Maggie bursts in to make sure he's okay, and helps him clean up the broken plate. He also sees on the news that the Water Ninja's powers are acting up too; she conjured a water spout and lost control of it. He knows the history of Wojira and their powers connection, but Morro brushes it off.
It's probably fine.
—
A few days later, he scolds himself for brushing that off as he barely keeps Violet and himself afloat. She mewls quietly, clearly upset at this situation.
Morro tries one more time to rocket them out of the water, and this time it works. He uses his now-under-control powers to dry Violet and himself off.
He sets her down, and dives back in to find Acid and Maggie, who are trapped in their apartment. He manages to break a window to get in, causing water to gush in and fill any spaces that haven't been flooded yet. He grabs their hands and they swim like hell to the surface, landing of the rooftop where Violet is.
His phone miraculously works, so he dials up Eryn, who is out of town to visit family. She and her family are luckily okay, as they live up on a mountain. He also checks on Salem, who is saved by one of the Ninja.
They see the Wa- Nya merge with the sea, and a part of Morro nags to join her. He watches as she left her family and friends. He quietly stands near the back of her sort-of funeral.
Morro knows she isn't gone, he had a gut feeling... or is it more his elemental power knowing? His connection with Nya is strange.
He wonders if she could feel it too.
The Ninja seem to disappear along with her.
Kai leaves to teach kids martial arts. Jay leaves. Zane stops expressing emotion. Lloyd completely quit to become a window washer. Cole was the only one that seems to continue semi-normally, but it was obvious Nya's absence affects him too. He has no clue what Sensei Wu is up to. He worries about him, Wu never handles loss well.
While Morro learns about the other Ninja through the news, social media, or rumors around his complex, he discovers Lloyd's fate himself. Hell, he shows up at his window.
To clean it.
Luckily, Morro could tell it's him before he sees into the window, so Morro has a chance to dash into hiding. He doesn't clean windows on Morro's complex often, but Morro makes an effort to never be home when Lloyd's cleaning.

Genuinely hate what they did with the Serpentine Lore in s4 if I can be honest and ramble my frustrations here? (I go and talk about other Serpentine too)
The Anacondrai, both the dead tribe and the cultists, have very obviously a different shade of purple scales and a severe lack of black/yellow markings and crystals that Pythor has as well as the very different neck and head shape which are all very valid reasons to be disappointed in their designs, I am too. But it gets worse.
S1 shows us how Scales became the Hypnobrai general- he got different markings, got a tail and was the only one who held the staff. There was a second in command (which was Scales' previous rank in the tribe) and each member of the tribe that wasn't the general had legs. Plus, there's about four to five different designs per tribe (depends if you count the leader/general with their clearly shown special markings and tail). There is only one general per tribe.
The s4 Anacondrai lack all of that. All of them have a tail, even Garmadon and Skylor recieve snake tails despite clearly not being the Anacondrai general. This season mentions there's multiple generals in the Anacondrai tribe, yet we're only shown Anacondrai with the tail. Not a single one with legs or distinct designs. The lack of a resemblance to Pythor's markings, colors and head/neck shape is enraging enough but the absolute lack of diversity in their designs is so painful to watch as someone who literally has a degree in media design. They make it look like Pythor, even pre-bleach, like a completely different type of Serpentine while all the others are the same bland carbon copies of each other. They're literally my least favorite tribe because of this and I don't even have any Serpentine minifigures yet (except Crystalized Aspheera, but I'm getting to her later anyway) but even if I did, I wouldn't want to display them. I'd willingly display any Serpentine tribe except the Anacondrai. And that's saying something for someone who finds the designs of the Vermillion reminiscent of guts and thus dislikes them.
On the topic of the Vermillion, why not briefly discuss why there's not a single one of those with a Serpentine tail? Easy: they're the tiny baby snakes that just somehow through Ninjago logic can form human-sized Serpentine that can talk and do everything perfectly. They're basically just the little baby snakes though, and last I checked babies can't take over leadership positions.
Now, a brief look at Aspheera because people don't like that she has the ghost tail in sets instead of the Serpentine tail. And that's also really easy to answer: she's not a general, she's a sorceress. Not a general. Yes, she has a tail in the show but she has a completely different rank from the other Hypnobrai of her time that we know of (btw, I love that Char is in the flashbacks with her (except when she frees Wu and Garmadon), that's so cute imo). Speaking of Hypnobrai, did you pay attention to her in the flashbacks vs. her when she's released from the pyramid? When she's young she has Hypnobrai markings on her head but when she is free she doesn't. Why? I'd say it's like the earlier mention of markings, like how the general has their own distinct markings for whoever takes that spot & that exiled Serpentine (remember, she was to be magically entombed for her crime of overthrowing the king) just lose their markings altogether so you can easier identify those that are no longer a part of the tribe. There, problem solved. And for the question on how she could absorb fire and crystal powers? Simple: sorceress. She ccould've probably used Nya's water in crystalized too, if not for the New Ninja and police coming to lock the ninja up.
Also.. The pyro vipers? They're mummies. I assume they've been long dead even before Aspheera and the pyramids lava 'ignited'/revived them. I've no guess what tribe they could've been from but I definitely doubt that it would be a fire-related one. However, the Hypnobrai evolved physically and changed into the type that we've known since 2012 some time after Aspheera got locked in the pyramid. I also like that we got to see the Hypnobrai no longer being purely blue/grey with some yellow but that there's also some pink and purple ones now. That is, what I would say, a result of the four Serpentine tribes being locked under Ninjago city and uniting in more ways than just "we're all friends now".

Wanna ramble about a moment/character in ninjago you think people need to talk about more?
I don't know who you are anon, but I'm glad you asked!
I am desperate for people to character-analyze Wu. I'm desperate for a lot of character analysis including Nya but since I got a lot of my Nya feelings out with some lovely folks the other night (edit: the other night was a month ago dw about it. this took a minute) I'm going with Wu this time
Master Wu to me is such an interesting case of a character who it is so easy to ignore the bits of the show that hint at his wider issues and traumas. He is a man defined heavily by his family and by his past. A lot of criticism he gets, I think, is due in part to that.
I've mentioned before that I've been rewatching S1 with a friend of mine and intermittently pausing to infodump on them about interesting character things I notice from that season. A lot of that has been Wu-focused because despite having seen RotS dozens of times throughout my life (watching it on CN, watching it on Netflix when only it and Legacy were around, rewatching it with friends) I have only just started noticing the seeds of character written in.
I might also just be reading too much into things, but hear me out
In S1 (and by extension, the pilots), Wu is characterized as your typical old wise teacher. In the first few minutes of EP1: Rise of the Snakes, he is chewing out the Ninja for playing video games instead of training. The line he uses? "Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today."
It's a line that gets repeated throughout the series. In fact, it gets repeated that very episode when the ninja go (pun not intended) to fight the Hypnobrai and a literal pre-teen. At first, it seems to just be a piece of wisdom. Some old proverb Wu's picked up over the years, possibly one he even coined himself. However, in EP7: Tick Tock, Wu tells the story of who, possibly, first told him this.
(Source: Tick Tock/Transcript | Ninjago Wiki | Fandom, highlight added.)
It was Garmadon. Now, I'm not gonna dwell too long on Garmadon, if you spend five minutes talking to me you'll learn he was the first character whose story I obsessed over and I want this essay to be about Wu, but I think he plays a role in Wu's overall story, as does Wu's family as a whole.
Prior to this, Wu and Garmadon's relationship has been more of a sibling rivalry taken to a good vs. evil extreme. We didn't know why Garmadon was evil and we didn't know about Wu and his relationship as kids. However, this scene establishes the backstory. They were, as Wu puts it, "the best of friends." That is, until Garmadon gets bit by the Devourer going to get the katana Wu lost.
Now, I know the Devourer bite was destined to happen because of the Overlord or some shit, but Wu doesn't. As far as he's concerned, Garmadon getting bit was a direct consequence of both his mistake and his cowardice. He lost the katana. He was too scared to get it. Garmadon went over instead. Garmadon got bit.
The scene goes on to show the FSM tending to Garmadon in the aftermath. Wu is watching from behind the door, likely told to stay back, but concerned. And in his POV, we get this intense moment, where Garmadon turns, looks directly at him (his eyes turning bright red for the first time), and says "It's all Wu's fault!"
(This clip should begin at the start of Wu eavesdropping. If it doesn't, skip to 0:58. I highly recommend also paying attention to Wu's body language during this scene.)
The camerawork does a great job of showing how this probably felt for Wu. It zooms in, Garmadon's voice echoes, and the background blurs. We see in the flashback that this is a moment Wu has etched into his memory. Not to mention, he was likely a very young child when this happened. LEGO characters' ages are weird, but Wu in this scene has the Big Eyes, which always seem to be used for characters under 12. We don't know exactly how much older Garmadon is to my knowledge, but he doesn't have the Big Eyes, so he's probably closer to 12 and a few years older than Wu for sure.
Imagine that. Being in elementary school and your older siblings gets hurt. They're acting strange. They're lashing out at your father. Then, they blame it all on you. They're hurt because of you. Wouldn't you internalize that?
I could go on about Wu's relationship with Garmadon, but again, I think I've spent enough time on it and I don't want to only focus on that. It's an important part, but there are others.
Let's talk about Wu's relationship with his dad.
Now, I have not yet read the Spinjitzu Brothers series. I cannot speak to any development of Wu and the FSM's relationship in there. I have, however, read The Book of Spinjitzu and blogged some of my thoughts on it here, including some of what it says about Wu.
For those who haven't read it, first, there is a Google Drive folder floating around with all of the canon spinoff books/graphic novels in it. Here's the link if you wanna read them!
The FSM is an... intriguing figure. I mean, in the series he's basically god? He made the entire world. That's already a very high bar to live up to. Then, in Book of Spinjitzu, there's a few specific parts that, when I read them, signaled that Wu internalized a specific message when he was young.
(Source: The Book of Spinjitzu, Page 3).
Wu does not want to disappoint his father. It is up to him (and Garmadon until he turns evil) to "uphold the legacy of Spinjitzu" and, by extension, his family. He says he was "very young" when this was explained to him. Considering he seems to already be training at an elementary age, "very young" means VERY young.
(Source: The Book of Spinjitzu, Page 16).
Here, we again see Wu being very aware that he has some large burden to carry. Something else interesting here is that the thought of the Green Ninja Prophecy is already weighing on him too. His considering if he might be the Green Ninja is of extra interest because of how the Green Ninja Prophecy and the--I wouldn't call it obsession, possibly fixation?--with who it is factors into his later actions, but we'll get to that later.
(Source: The Book of Spinjitzu, Page 19).
This one in particular gets me because it comes after Wu mentions Garmadon becoming more evil. It is a statement of power. Wu knows that the legacy of Spinjitzu now rests in his hands alone. He cannot let himself fall the way Garmadon did. He cannot disappoint his father. Whether or not the FSM intended it, Wu always knew the fate of the world rested, at least in part, upon his shoulder. He knew this from the time he was a young boy and it remains in his mind to this day.
Now, these quotes are indirect, but they all point to one clear idea: As a child, Wu internalized the idea that he alone is responsible for keeping Ninjago safe. He will play a pivotal role in its history.
There's not evidence in this book that the FSM's was a bad father, per se. However, just because one doesn't set out to harm their children, doesn't mean they won't. I often say Wu has an "Atlas complex," which I have no idea if it is an actual concept but use it to refer to this idea. Wu feels as though he is responsible for holding up the world, much like Atlas. He must keep the balance, he must solve the Green Ninja prophecy, he must make his father proud.
(Source: The Book of Spinjitzu, page 61).
I'm going to get further into what this means for Wu as a teacher to the current Ninja Team, but for now let's look at Wu's first foray into teaching.
Morro. Wu's Biggest Mistake.
That might seem like an overstatement, but it's not.
(Source: Ghost Story/Transcript | Ninjago Wiki | Fandom)
Okay he says regret, not mistake, but I was paraphrasing.
Let's turn back to his quote about his destiny. Wu writes, "Is my life's mission to be the Green Ninja? Or maybe it will be to find the Green Ninja and protect him (or her)??"
From a very young age, Wu was not only aware of the Green Ninja but prophecy but also thinking about his place in it. We see this again when he takes Morro in and trains him.
(Source: Ghost Story/Transcript | Ninjago Wiki | Fandom, highlight added)
A big thing Wu is criticized for here is making Morro believe he is meant to be more. That he is the Chosen One. And Morro, being a young homeless orphan just now given some semblance of power and protection, latches onto that. And I can see it, but when you take into account the above that he was trained from (likely) a younger age than Morro and given a similar level of responsibility, it becomes more understandable. Wu is just doing what he was taught. He doesn't believe that he is harming Morro until it is too late.
youtube
This is the entire story, but I'm specifically going to be discussing 1:36 onwards here. I also wanted to add that rewatching this scene made me lay down on the floor! What the fuck! But I digress.
There's a lot going on in this scene. For one, Wu washing his hands of Morro in some ways, but not others. He turns his back on Morro when he tells him that destiny has decided, but looks at him again when Morro storms out. He goes to save Morro from the Grundal, but decides that he cannot "teach those who would not listen." Most importantly, when Morro leaves to go find the Tomb of the FSM, Wu leaves the door open. He waits for Morro to return, but never goes after him. And Morro never comes back.
Wu gives Morro's fate a dismissive response at the end of his ghost story ("I am saddened he was banished to the Cursed Realm") but it's clear he still cares deeply about him in the finale of the season.
youtube
Wu's VA in this is phenomenal btw. That "Please Morro!" and "MORRO!" make my heart ache.
Morro believed Wu stopped caring, but he didn't. Even after all he's done, even after trying to destroy all of Ninjago--destroying what Wu had spent his life trying to protect--Wu tries to save him. He begs for Morro to come with him. Morro refuses, Wu watches him perish.
Someone else Wu is close to is gone. Wu again considers himself responsible. Everything is his fault.
And finally, we reach Wu today. A cautious, secretive man. He loves his students, this much is clear. Even as early as the pilots, he drops his wise teacher persona to joke around with them.
youtube
As with Morro, he trains them like his father did him. He even uses the same methods his father used when he trains them.
(Source: The Book of Spinjitzu, page 32)
youtube
While he is hard on the Ninja, wanting them to succeed and training them to help defend the Realm, he lets his guard down more than it seems he did with Morro. He also learned a valuable message from his experience with Morro when he hides the Green Ninja Prophecy from the Ninja, getting angry when they start to push themselves in the same way Morro did upon learning about it. It's clear he doesn't want a repeat.
Now, I can't speak for later seasons (I will eventually) but this fear of repeats, his students going down a dark path because they're tempted by power or greatness, losing someone else, likely drives Wu not telling them other important information. That is just a passing thought though.
Final notes:
I'm currently in the process of rewatching S7: Hands of Time. I actually got this ask right after finishing EP68: Scavengers, which opens with Wu having a nightmare. In it, he and Misako are walking outside of Yang's temple. While walking, Misako delivers this line in response to Wu reminiscing about the time they've spent together:
(Source: Scavengers/Transcript | Ninjago Wiki | Fandom)
This line, to me, is Wu's subconscious trying to tell him something he needs to hear. It's hinting at what might be his greatest flaw. Wu is haunted by his past, by his mistakes. He finds it difficult to tell others because of both his guilt and his desire to not put that worry upon them. In this very season, he makes the mistake of trying to face his past on his own, and he nearly dies for it.
In the same episode, you see Wu trying to make sure Lloyd doesn't make the same mistakes.
(Source: Prev)
Wu stresses the important of the team. It's as if he sees Lloyd blaming himself for what happened to Wu, sees him doing the same thing Wu has, and is trying to prevent him from doing the same thing. This is further emphasized when, after Wu falls asleep (well, fakes falling asleep), Lloyd says "Wu's mistake was going in alone. So was mine."
Master Wu is, like many characters in this show, someone who is more complex than meets the eye. He is not just a wise, old teacher. He is a man who, throughout his life, has made mistakes and carries the weight of each of them on his shoulders. He is a man who tasks himself with making up for those every day. He is a man who wants better for his students, his family.
Until the day he dies, he will guide and protect his students. And possibly? Even after death too.

Romantic concept for Lloyd Garmadon, please?
Sure! I did my research as I still need to catch up but this takes place later on in the series :) Tried to keep it general still though. Have these too, the bad influences lol;
Yandere! Kai Concept
Yandere! Jay Concept
Yandere! Cole Concept
Yandere! Zane Concept
Yandere! Lloyd Garmadon Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Trauma mention, Lloyd struggles with relationships, The ninja are a bad influence, Obsession, Delusional behavior, Self-destructive/Reckless behavior, Stalking, Jealousy, Paranoia, Overprotective behavior, Slight abuse of popularity, Manipulation, Clingy behavior, Dubious relationship.
Lloyd would be a cute yandere at times.
Even when he accepts his role as Green Ninja and leader, he can still be childish and innocent at times.
He can be serious and calm to shy and awkward at times.
He's honestly very sweet.
Despite the trauma he's encountered when he was growing up... he'd probably be a yandere who confides in his darling.
Being the Green Ninja, an interesting idea to explore would be him sharing yandere traits with the rest of the ninja.
After all... they did train him.
Lloyd has a base yandere personality all on his own but he takes traits from the others to build it, for example;
He can be passionate and intense like Kai, attempting flirting but is admittedly not the best at it.
He's loving, delusional, and reckless like Jay, wanting to be fully dedicated to his darling.
He's overprotective and caring like Cole, sometimes bordering on jealousy.
Lastly, he's naive and obsessive like Zane.
Lloyd learned these traits from the ninja but puts his own spin on them based on his past.
Overall, Lloyd is Passionate, Delusional, Loving/Caring, Reckless, Overprotective, Obsessive, Naive, and Manipulative.
A small HC is the ninja are somewhat yanderes just it's hidden and they ended up accidentally convincing Lloyd that this is normal.
Lloyd really does need someone to rely on.
At a young age he was trained into being the Green Ninja.
Not only that... but he had to fight his own father multiple times.
That can cause him to have trouble with relationships.
As a result, when Lloyd eventually falls for you, he asks the others for help.
Who else does he have to help now, really?
Wu and Nya try to give him advice that would actually be... well... normal?
The usual things, befriend you, treat you with respect, don't rush things.
The ninja undo all of that.
Which leads into his mixed bag of yandere behavior.
Lloyd starts very childish with his attraction.
He gets shy and nervous when he sees you/speaks of you.
He stutters over his words and looks at you with lovestruck eyes.
He becomes head-over-heels for his darling.
Look at him, the Green Ninja himself, a grown adult yet such a nervous teenager when it comes to romance.
He has only ever had this feeling like maybe twice, even so it's never worked out.
He's determined to make a relationship with you, however.
Lloyd starts off trying to be passionate.
Passionate to the point it feels like he's burning you with fire.
He awkwardly stumbles over his words, attempting to flirt or impress you.
It's a bit funny to you at first, the Green Ninja cursing under his breath as he desperately tries to tell you, quote, "You look nice today...?"
He's trying so hard.
Honestly, his attempts at trying to date you are cute and funny at first.
Until it gets overbearing.
It's every. day. with his attempted flirting.
You have to politely tell him to relax.
Lloyd is delusional with his obsession.
He's convinced that you must like him more than a friend.
He thinks you're the best chance he's got for a partner and is dedicated.
Lloyd often talks to himself alone about you, gushing about his crush obsessively to himself and how he's convinced you're meant to be.
Even when you do something as small as care for him when thoughts of his past come up, he takes it as you loving him.
Just friends doesn't register in his mind entirely.
Blame Jay for that.
Lloyd is very loving and caring towards you despite the rest of his obsession being too intense.
He cares deeply for his darling and only wants to give them the purest affection.
Part of it is because he never got such affection all the time, so he wants you to feel special...
You are incredibly special to him.
Lloyd likes to listen to his darling talk and loves to give physical affection.
He's a big one for hand holding and hugs... until you start dating then he loves to pepper you in small kisses and bury his head into your neck.
Lloyd tends to be reckless and self-destructive with his love.
He would sacrifice nearly everything he has for you.
He'd get hurt to protect you and prove he's dedicated to you.
Lloyd is scared if he doesn't always give you his all... he may lose you.
He's often scolded for taking wounds he didn't need to because of you.
He can't help it... as the Green Ninja he has to protect those he loves, right?
He loves you more than anything.
Lloyd is incredibly overprotective.
Think about what he's gone through throughout the show for a moment...
Traumatizing for a kid, right?
As an adult he is still affected by it.
Which leads to him stalking you or following you everywhere.
Hard to be stealthy when he always manages to be caught by some paparazzi due to his popularity.
Sometimes he uses this to his advantage, dragging you beside him to solidify the bond between you in the papers.
Many may think you're dating way before he actually makes it official.
It pressures you to accept his advances in a way.
This makes him manipulative.
Lloyd may not mean to be so manipulative and forceful, but it doesn't excuse anything.
He's just thinking back on the advice the ninja gave...
He's also driven by a desperate craving for affection from you...
Lloyd is very touch starved and yearns for someone to satiate his obsession... unfortunately it happens to be you.
Lloyd often clings to you, not liking the idea of leaving you.
Lloyd is naive... hence, the ninja influencing his obsession.
He just assumes obsessing over his romantic partner is normal.
It's not and it would take a lot of convincing for you to get him to calm down.
Can't guarantee he'll get better, either....
Lloyd isn't really violent.
He gets jealous but it's like... pouty childish jealous?
He'd have a temper but not try to beat anyone up, essentially.
Kidnapping... debatable.
Lloyd knows it's wrong.
He wants you to love him willingly, even if he does use manipulation.
He'd try to avoid the idea of kidnapping for the most part.
He'd do anything to hear you say you love him... he just wants to refuse anything involving shackles.
Overall, Lloyd is a yandere that has a lot going on and wants someone to rely and dote on.
He'd do anything to protect you, care for you, and love you... he wants it to be only you and him... nothing else.
