⚫ Opposite to the stereotype of Leo being a narcissist, its the Aquarians who are more narcissist than ANY other zodiac. Esp its the Dhanishta naks out of the Aqua naks who are so.

⚫ I have seen 3 Aquarian moons (of Dhanishta nak) who had a poverty stricken first half of life (childhood, teenage years) but then they become well off like rlly very well off in their second half (esp after marriage). Overthinking is a realisation when you have added a thought on what is already there and now you are constantly having a 360 sight to makeout one simple assurance that it is not what it seems as, but what if it is ?

Has been already scaring you isn't so? Yes fears do fuel overthinking but driving your mind nuts behind everything, and seeing your thoughts manifesting can be dangerous because when the outcomes arrives it is not the best experience you would like to have.

Have you ever manifested pain? Where you kept thinking you would fail, fail, or resisting you don't know, don't know, but you did failed and you did know about things.

Feeling guilty and outside the crowd can make you feel being called out but why are you hiding behind your head and hoping life to spot on you and the way it does drives you crazy like hell.

Calm down, I see this as a parental exchange like someone in your family overthinks a lot too probably your mother or granny, still easy, sometimes you may hallucinate heating stuffs, and feelings dizzy seriously relax, snap at yourself out of the head and move with anything real time.

Any thoughts about your Hello Es AU?🎤

Thank you ooh -- this was so fun to think about! (I did some art earlier here :)) Spoiler warning for all three episodes of Hello Charlotte 🧸👁️🩸

So, out there in the real world somewhere, there exists “real Es”, (the Charles of the story) who has created Es as his perfect protagonist/ideal identity. Real Es ends up killing someone, and undergoing some kind of psychotic break that creates The House (now known as The Prison). Various people from his life appear there, each with their own murder, reflecting Real Es’ complex feelings about their own crime.

Es/Charlotte – A puppet at the whims of the audience. They have many forms along with conflicting thoughts and motivations. As lax as they may get about their own safety, they always take their duty to the tenets very seriously. They have a little Magalope pet :3 I know in canon the characters are separate, but I’m still picturing them as some combination of Q84 and Ep1/2 Charlotte. 

Fuuta/Felix – The fiery friend who's all bark and no bite. He’s the most openly aggressive out of everyone, but still ends up trying to help people around him. Through his attempts to do something helpful, his recklessness, and need to be treated as an adult, he can find himself in pretty significant danger.

Kazui/Aiden – Calm and quiet, but you get a sense he's very observant to the current situation in his silence. Just because he prefers to do his tailoring/piano hobbies doesn't mean he doesn’t have that underlying demon strength. The most parental over Es, even if they're not always receptive.

Shidou/Huxley – A doctor/scientist with a desire to help save the most (alien) lives that he can, even if it means living on the run as a criminal, as well as an odd coolness when it comes to unethical medical procedures.

Mikoto and John/Bennett – when he’s high on soap, he’s as cheery as always :) Just a normal working guy, you probably won’t even remember his face under the hazmat suit, very normal :) When the effects wear off and the stress gets to him, though, John fronts and isn't afraid to defend himself from any perceived threat.

Yuno/Florence – Puts up a cheery front and is happy to work when she's having fun. After a bit of prodding, she reveals a much more serious and jaded side. She gets along with everyone, but isn't afraid to tell her real feelings to Es when the time is right.

Haruka and Muu /Anri – I’m kind of splitting Anri to make two characters, still capturing her fluctuating status in school and attitude of give-and-receive in friendships. They're caring but clingy, they can be protective but also aggressive. Both of them go back and forth between the personalities we see from her in all three episodes. 

Amane/Frei – (I know in canon Frei is another Charlotte, so I think that works well given how close they are in age and stubbornness.) She sees things through a view of gods/religion, even if not everyone sees the situation that way. She's a bit at odds with Es, trying to persuade them to join in her mindset, but genuinely cares for their well-being while doing it.

Mahiru/Vincent – The new friend with some strange delusions of a perfect “heavenly” world, a hobby of literature, and suicidal intentions. Es takes pity on her after she receives serious injuries from people who reject her. Real Es developed some kind of attachment to her real counterpart (like Charles' idolization of Vincent), and this manifests into Mahiru crazy about relationships and love.

Kotoko/Scarlett – Has a close mindset to Es (close enough to stem more directly from them) but her intensity and drive for perfection/justice turn them into enemies in some timelines. She gets the closest look at the “real” situation compared to the others, seeing behind the scenes and criticizing Es and the Prison as a whole. She's determined she could do better herself, and Es takes her up on that…

I’m not going to make a whole post, but for a reverse au I think it’d be fun to see The House tenants featured in Charles’ milgram mv – as the focal character, the audience/Warden would probably assume Charlotte was his victim. Only later would they realize that Charlotte is the stand-in for himself, and that truly he feels responsible for not stopping Vincent’s suicide.

Prepare for some SERIOUS yappin' hejdhekdudodyd like masters in yapology level yapping omg why did dumping my thoughts end up this long HHHHHHHHHGGGG. Imma be so real, writing for Ichigo was the easy part. What took so long was writing about myself osenuikjfrdiknbtikfj. I am psychoanalyzing him and exposing myself here frfr skjrbfiyerbdikeidj. But I hope you enjoy :3.

With Ichigo, there are 3 perceivable levels of stress. I've come to learn this the longer we've been together.

The first stage is him being quieter than usual. Like it isn't unlike him to be quiet and doing his own thing; to have content silence. But there's a slight tension in the silence that I can feel when he's bothered. Typically, whenever I ask him at this stage if everything is okay, he will tell me what's going on. Normally, it isn't anything too big or serious, but he'll get my thoughts on things concerning whatever the situation or feeling is.

The second stage is when the silence is more loud. He's more distant and often needs some space to himself to introspect (what he would call it) or brood (what I would call it). His natural scowl will seem to get a bit deeper at these times. Sometimes, I'll brush my thumb between his brows to smooth the wrinkles and advise him to breathe. Even to breathe with me in a short exercise sometimes. Just as a reminder that I don't know what's going on, but I'm here for him when I think I see him getting a little too deep. Because at this second stage, I'm not getting anything out of him until he's ready to tell me or our friends that know exactly what's going on force it out of him in a way I can't.

The third stage of stress is when I believe him to be at his peak. He's physically restless and fidgety, which is really unlike him. I KNOW something is heavy on his mind that he either feels powerless or doesn't know what to do about. But he doesn't want to bring me into anything or worry me, so he remains tight-lipped. He wants to figure things out on his own. Obviously, I hate to see him this way, so my move is to comfort him how I can, given the circumstances.

I will come to him, place my hands on both his cheeks and look into his eyes. I see storms raging in them as he looks back at me. We take a moment and freeze. Just to focus on one another for a bit. Then I will gently tilt his head down and kiss his forehead, before bringing him into my arms. I'll hold him and speak softly. Tell him that I know something is bothering him, but i won't ask him to tell me anything. Tell him that we need to find a more productive way to release this energy in his body, and ask him how he wants to proceed. Sometimes we'll go out on a walk. Sometimes we'll lift weights. Sometimes we'll play a video game. Sometimes we'll draw. Sometimes we'll cook. Just something to get his body moving and his mind on something else for a while.

At times, he won't know how he wants to proceed. He can't think of anything he'd want to do. That is when I offer up myself. If he wants, he can have me. 9 times out of 10 in that situation he will say yes. (The other 1 of 10 times we will just end up cuddling for a while.)

It is at this point that once we are in the bedroom (our stress relief sex is always in the bedroom where we are safest and coziest <3) that I gently usher him through everything. I'm readying our bed while I have him go splash his face in the bathroom. When the bed is done and he comes out, I am undressing him; removing all but his shirt (more on that soon). I will dress down to either just my bra or full nudity depending on the vibe. I'm getting him on the bed, kissing his body, hitting all his sensitive spots, caressing his hips, whispering sweet nothings to him. Doing basically everything but touching him in that spot bc he's more slow to warm up in these times. I just focus on loving on him gently. I don't start touching him there until he either moves my hand to it, or asks me to. Usually by then it is a solid pole and it's hot 🌡. I'll stroke him for a little bit and we'll kiss until he's ready to flip us over.

Missionary is his chosen position just about every time he's using my body for stress relief. He wants to see me. He wants to see into me. He wants me to see him. He wants me to see something in him. To show me something he cant find the strength to say in words.

At any other time in missionary we are very close quarters. Most of our bodies are touching. It is very intimate.

Not to say this is not intimate, but there is a marked level of tension in the air that is not sexual. Like, his state of mind manifests itself physically in that missionary at these times is at arms length as he is above me.

He'll start with a slow grind as he feels things out; his brows furrowing upwards as he tries to focus on the good sensations, grunting here and there. When he starts feeling it is when he'll take the hem of his shirt and put it in his mouth. He needs to bite on something. The grinding becomes more of a deep ramming, and he goes from grunting here and there to a bit more whiny/whimpery.

And its like AUGH. Cus the visual AND him whimpering is so HOT but I hate it has to come from circumstances that bother him. Bc I can still see it in his eyes.

Between my own mewls here and there i am murmuring to him, affirming him, complimenting him, reassuring him, just being present with him.

When he's getting close, his eyes will flutter closed. And I want nothing more than to pull him close. But I leave him where he desires to be until his eyes clench and he spills inside me.

I don't always get to finish with these sessions, but that's okay. He'll apologize for it in those instances, but I shush him. I just wanna support him fr. I'm happy to hold him again at the end of it all.

With me, it’s not so much progressive stages of stress, but more so 3 differing kinds. Different ways I instinctively deal with a given situation.

Type 1: Head full

I can’t stop thinking about whatever is bothering me. I'm getting in my head; overthinking about the occurrence that disturbs me, replaying it over and over, pondering how it could have gone differently, having realizations after the fact, wishing i would have said something different to better get my point across, drowning in the crippling ordeal of being perceived the wrong way, knowing I should not be this affected and yet continuing to feel. My face feels like stone and my head begins to hurt. I am increasingly aware of the tension in my brows, trying to make sure I don't look mad or something. I feel warmer the longer I think. Especially in the face. I feel my pulse more.

Similarly to Ichigo in his first stage, if he asks me about whatever bothers me, I am more likely to tell him about it in this type of stress response. We can talk it out. Maybe there will be some reassurance, some criticism, some advice, etc. He is there to make me feel heard so I can get the racing thoughts out of my head. So I can move on with my daily life frfr and not be trapped in this simmering emotion.

Type 2: Head empty

Stress is weighing on me. I am frustrated, but whatever situation I was put in is something I am still actively navigating; perhaps by obligation. I have no choice but to continue to try to push through it. But because I don't have the space to overthink, I instead shut down and just go through motions trying to get through to the other side. Until I can breathe again. And by that time I am just tired. Too tired to begin to overthink even then. A little relieved things are over but still can't quite believe I was put under that much stress. Especially so if it wasn't because of my doing.

When in this type of stress response, like his second stage, if possible, I tend to be more to myself. I feel like if I try to explain things to someone that they just won't understand my thoughts and be somewhat careless and uncaring with their response. The weight of that possibility is too much for me. The amount of emotional effort it takes to express myself when I'm that bothered is not worth risking. Even just practicing in my head or out loud alone if I feel somewhat resolved to do so will have me shedding tears.

Sometimes when I get like this, I assure Ichigo that I trust him. I see that my being this way is bothering him. I feel that I need to let him know that i'm aware he would never try to hurt me. I just... can't bring myself to talk about whatever is going on. Other times he already knows and is ready to just do what he can to support me.

It can be a long song and dance that pushes me to tears, but he's resolute. If it gets to that point, he will hold my hand to comfort me, but nothing else changes. I will be crying when I cum as I drown in the depths of his pools of brown. Once the waves of orgasm finish washing over me is when he allows me to look away. When I start to squirm a bit and sob shakily; fisting at my eyes.

This is where sometimes he will offer himself up sexually for stress relief. When I am in this type of stress, his typical move is to eat me out. As long as we have been together, I am still shy about this man giving me head. I will be a blushing mess and can barely look at him. Also I feel his view looking up at me is probably so unappealing??? This is all strategic on his part, though.

Since I can't tell him of my stress, this is his way of having me be vulnerable to him in another fashion. He'll give me a minute to process the physical and emotional release before he's caressing me, and moving in to hold me. Telling me how proud he is and that no matter how much i looked away or how stubborn I was that I did good. Reassuring me that he's here and everything is gonna be okay <3.

Type 3: Avoidance

A certain something I do not want to face looms on the horizon, bringing up an anxiety in me that I cannot always place. I keep telling myself I have more time, that I will get to it, and do other things instead that I enjoy, or simply get rest, as a chronic procrastinator does. I've gotten quite a bit better about it over the years I think, but sometimes I do have that nagging itch, to turn my gaze the other way and keep the stress at bay. Slowly letting it creep closer and closer until it is upon me, and more stress inducing than it ever had to be.

The sex that happens for relief in this instance of stress response is usually a while after the fact of the stressing event. My own choice to ignore whatever I didn't want to face leading to a compounding of high stress and being forced into action is not a good time for it lmao.

Ichigo did warn me multiple times about this upcoming stressor, but uh... 🧍🏾‍♀️. My brain said no sibnfkernbikdfd.

It will be a 50/50 on if he decides to help me in the moment or leave me to deal with it myself. Extremely valid of him ngl. A girl needs to learn sometimes ✊🏾😔.

He doesn't take joy in me being stressed though, of course. Once what I needed to get done is all said and done, he will move in to help me decompress. Not always in a sexual way, but when it is, he goes all in. Wants to get me to a point where I'm so blissful I can't even think, stress be condemned to hell.

Ichigo will set up our room. With candles (on candle warmers cus he's safe like that uwu), rose petals, music and all. Will have me undress and lay on the bed on my stomach. Get me nice and oiled up as rubs me down with a full body massage, gently working the tension out of my muscles. Once he's done I'm nearly falling asleep, but he'll have me position myself so there is a pillow under my hips and I am hugging another pillow.

From there, my man will commence hitting it from the back. Again, he isn't really holding me down, but holding me firmly (not that I planned to move much anyway lol).

Also note that when he is doing this he is again at arms length above me; considering that I may still need that space as he does when I let him use my body for stress relief. (what a thoughtful sweetie 🥺)

He will make me cum no less than three times. He will hold me firmly as mentioned before until I cum the first time. Leading up to the second time, his touch is more light; more comforting. What does time feel like to a Time Lord?

This can only ever be educated guesswork, but here's a good starting point if we take each of humanity's five senses and add a little Time Lord flair.

👁️The Senses

Visualising Time

Time Lords can generally perceive 'time particles' in the air, so if they're looking at an individual who has extensively time travelled, they can see a sort of 'slithery mist' around the person.

This perception of 'time particles' probably extends to other forms of time-related visual perception, like seeing a build-up of time particles where a paradox has occurred or other forms of time-related phenomena.

Metaphysical: For them, seeing time could be like watching a never-ending kaleidoscope, where colours and patterns represent different eras and possibilities. They simultaneously perceive layers of what was, what is, and what could be.

Hearing Time

On a practical level, Time Lords have very sensitive hearing and perceive a wider range of frequencies than humans, so they can associate certain sounds with certain eras, and when used enough, this becomes instinctual.

Metaphysical: Maybe they hear time as an ever-changing melody, with the past as a soft echo, the present as a clear note, and the future as a whisper of melodies yet to be played.

Tasting and Smelling Time

Tasting and smelling time involve experiencing the "flavour" or "scent" of different eras - practically, certain tastes and smells will designate certain moments of time, for example, you're not going to smell a burger van in 300AD.

Metaphysical: Moments of joy might taste sweet, while periods of sorrow carry a bitter tang. The scent of an impending event might be sharp and clear, and the aroma of the past lingers faintly, like a perfume fading away.

Touching Time

Metaphysical: More difficult to give a practical version, feeling time could be like touching the texture of reality. They might feel the rough edges of conflict or the smooth serenity of peaceful times. The brush of potential futures might feel like a gentle breeze against their skin, while fixed events are immovable, like standing against a solid wall.

👽 Beyond Human Senses

Beyond these, Time Lords have their 'chronopsionic' sense/s. This might be like an internal compass, always aware of their position in time, feeling the push and pull of temporal currents and eddies, like swimming in the sea.

⚡Physical Reactions to Time

Heightened Time Awareness: They sense when time is not passing normally and can resist distortions, with a learned skill for 'internal chronometry' to measure time precisely.

Time-Sensitive Species Detection: They can instinctively detect other time-sensitive beings, like recognising someone might like heavy metal because they're wearing a ton of Iron Maiden merch.

Revulsion to Time Anomalies: Confronted with anti-time entities, Time Lords experience a guttural repulsion, like biting into an apple and realising it's full of maggots.

Most people in Ninjago (strangers, especially) tend to perceive Lyra as genuinely small, harmless, and unthreatening—such a sweet girl. Her regular customers, including the ninja, find her short-tempered, witty, and at times a little rude, especially if provoked.

Seeing as Lyra can shape shift into an utterly massive, battle ready demon, I’d say half of their first assumptions are usually correct. She is genuinely kind, she will also just… rip your head off if you pose a threat haha.

(This part is somewhat based off of Japanese folklore, where some Oni can shape shift to seem like human beings for various reasons.)

💝 - How much effort do they put into appearances? Do they have a favorite article of clothing?

I’d say Lyra doesn’t put too much effort into her appearance. She doesn’t wear make up or anything too fancy, and she leans towards clothing that’s practical yet presentable. She usually wears sensible black tops that show off her shoulders, where she has a lot of a freckles. It’s her way of raising a middle finger to her mom, who used to make negative comments about them to Lyra growing up.

If she has a key piece, it’s probably her dangly, butterfly earrings.

Ooh, I never actually figured out a specific date for her. It’s probably a late winter, early spring birthday. (Not that the ninja are quiet because they absolutely would barge in with the whole nine yards worth of a birthday party.)

"Is it on duolingo?" When I tell you I completely lost it. Just for a second I was fully immersed and living in a modern dnd world where learning how to cuss someone out in ancient elvish was a mere phone tap away.

Sadly, no, I don't think it's on fantasy duolingo. Not from lack of effort, believe me the shareholders pulled every string, but elves remain stubborn and have it taken down—especially the high elves are the most vocal about their distaste for their beloved language to be butchered by humans and else.

They're too proud to let learning elvish be easy or accessible, other species must "prove their worth" first before the elves would share their knowledge, and of course, what better way to learn elvish than start with the thickest of books filled to the brim with poetry, prose, and complicated euphemisms.

It's just that... the "dislike/disgust" to "fetishisation" pipeline in some of those elves is far too real, their reclusion is a double-edged sword because now, in the perspective of those lucky few, humans seem to be made for breeding, designed to entice and seduce them, otherwise how would you explain this deep seated attraction and frustration they feel towards your kind? What do you mean it might stem from envy at the freedom humanity tends to overindulge in? What nonsense. They're definitely not jealous of something like that so much that fucking you is the closest thing to freedom they'll ever taste.

Either way, it's a self-fullfilling prophecy. Elves make it harder for others to assimilate into them, whenever someone—elf, human, or else—attempts to bridge the culture gap, it mostly ends in failure, elves really don't like sharing their knowledge, habits, or even language.

The viewers on the forums are another case, they're deliberately requesting that Meluidil makes you say words in elvish because of how sacrilegious it feels, wrapping around to being insanely hot.

Your best bet when it comes to learning elvish is either knowing an elf and harrassing them into teaching you, or browsing sketchy websites full of seedy ads about single hot succubuses near you, and hoping this one doesn't get taken down before the end of the week like all the others.

But you know what you'll find on duolingo? Infernal, oh yes. And it's just 10 straight courses full of misinformation and deliberate mistranslations. Honestly, demons can't believe that they haven't thought of this sooner. The number of overconfident mortals signing binding contracts with them skyrocketing ever since, now they only need to litter the words "duck" and "pineapple" across a contract for your average human to misread them as some get-out-of-jail-free card.

Now, back to our beloved loser elf. If his human was attempting to learn some elvish in secret, it really depends on how you go about it.

Maybe you catch on to some of the words Meluidil has a habit of saying? Elvish is very melodic in nature. It's hard not to be drawn to it, leading you to unconsciously eavesdrop on some of Meluidil's phone calls. Not understanding what he's saying, but finding correlations between certain phrases and subtle changes in his tone and demeanour.

You pick up on the word he hisses under his breath after stubbing his toe against the table's leg.

Then there are the words spoken through breathy whispers against your neck, repeated like a prayer as your insides squeeze around him, making him stutter halfway through his sentences.

It's different from the latin-like words magic tends to adapt. It sounds like the whole language is based on poetry.

Maybe picking up words that way will help make them sound more natural, you still butcher the pronunciation, but his reaction is more giddy and surprised than anything else.

But if you do take the risk and dive in head first into these shady "Elvish 101" online booklets...

There's no guarantee Meluidil won't rush out the room because he's trying so hard not to burst out laughing at what you just said, and he feels so guilty because oh you must have went to such length to learn it, but by Corellon it's the funniest thing he's heard in the past decade.

It's unbelievably endearing. He's getting cuteness aggression and has to cross his arms to restrain himself from hugging you to death because. You shouldn't push a man past his first century into having a heart attack like that.

In the end, no matter which method you start with, both routes lead to the same result of Meluidil offering to teach you some Elvish if you're that curious.

It's definitely not an excuse to uh roleplay teacher student... or maybe private tutor and—Okay he needs to go back on track before his mind wanders further.

👁️: People tend to perceive Cassie as a buff, dumb bruiser. And, in their defense, she is buff and she will fight people. She’s probably actually better at it than most people think - Cassie doesn’t have an action movie build, she’s a bit chubby, but she’s strong. People are wrong in thinking she’s dumb, though. Sure, she’s a bit tactless and she is pretty uneducated but she’s not stupid. She’s very good at improvising and adapting her plans and strategizing for fights and more physical things.

💝: Haha, Cassie basically puts in the minimum amount of effort required by her job. She has a uniform and she wears it, but Belladonna has a constant fight to get her to comb her hair because she’s fine with it being a mess. Her favourite article of clothing is her eye patch, which is actually the only piece of clothing she cares about. It keeps her purple eye from getting noticed which keeps her from getting sent back to Sixth Station to die painfully.

❗️: At the current point in time I’m writing (so beginning of arc 2), Cassie’s number 1 priority is herself and keeping herself safe. Her second priority is protecting Nellie, and a distant third is Belladonna and her actual job. Part of Cassie’s arc is realizing that there are things going on that are greater than her survival and realizing how much she can do if she wants to, but she’s just starting to open up to that, so she hasn’t realized quite yet.

⚡️: I think Cassie is very apprehensive around door control panels in particular, because the last time she messed around with one she cut her arm off. To be fair, she was doing it on purpose and manually disabled the safeties, but still, I think fiddling around with door settings always reminds her how easy it would be and unnerves her a bit.

💛: She’s a bit awkward, but kids tend to like her anyway. They find her funny, are curious about her arm, and want to play and roughhouse with her, which she’s down for. She doesn’t really know how to talk to them or relate to them though, and she’s really bad at not swearing in front of the children.

👁️ How do other people perceive this oc? How close do their first assumptions come to the truth? Most of the time, as a very VIOLENT sort of creature, and an asshole. This is the surface level truth. Deep down, they're first and foremost a child. A very violent jackass of a child, but still a child.

👁️‍🗨️ Eye contact: good or bad for the OC? Oh they love eye contact- they have so many eyes to see you with! (they make too much of it, if anything.)

💙 Describe their bedroom! Is it personalized, unchanged? Messy, neat? If they have a room, they call it "organized chaos". It's just a mess that they know how to navigate, and they don't see a point in cleaning.

🧁 When is their birthday? How do they celebrate it, if at all? Technically it's November 2nd. They don't actually have one most of the time*.

🚷 Tell one difference between yourself and this oc! Most of the time, they're inhuman, if they ever were in the first place. They also typically don't care about property damage, ever. As for the one outlier, they have actual consistent pressure to get better and can't squirm out of the responsibility.

Ok!!! Here are some based on old Russian and Serbian tales (I'm Russian):

1. A poroniec is a hostile and malicious demon from Slavic mythology. They were believed to come into existence from stillborn fetuses, but also from improperly buried remains of children who had died during infancy.

Porónce are shapeshifters, immortal and able to take any form, but they're usually seen in the form of a horrifying-looking baby, an adult human, or an owl.

So, maybe a woman named Anastasia (Russian regal name meaning "rebirth") who is found sleeping under the floorboards (if she was buried under the house) or at the bottom of a well (if she was thrown in). She had started there as a stillborn child but grew to a full woman

Signature characteristics:

Horrible posture (from growing to an adult inside a tiny enclosed space)

Hatred for the concept of family (or at least, perceived. Really she is jealous of the love ordinary children recieve)

Tendency to crawl on all fours

Animalistic urges like biting and running away at slight movements

Difficult to befriend at first but warms up like a cat

Loves competition and playfighting (will wrestle you for fun)

Talks in mostly questions

Scraggly, broken voice

Favorite things:

Physical activity

Exploring the house

Dark magic (any characters you have that use dark magic? They could be friends! Anastasia loves to cuddle up and watch the horrors go down.)

Playing in bodies of water (makes her feel so clean!!!! (she's not))

Least favorite things:

Verbal affection ("I love you" and "you're so pretty" are OUT. fist bumps are IN.)

Being a little goody-two-shoes (loosen up a little!! we're still young)

Secrets and dilly-dallying (She's a very curious girl and just wants an answer to her fucking question)

2. Bauk was a creature from Southern Slavic beliefs, especially from Serbian beliefs. Parents used to scare children with him. The word bauljati is used to describe when somebody walks weirdly, which originates from Bauk. Bauk walked weirdly and lived in dark places- in holes or abandoned houses from where he preys upon humans and eats them.

Since "Bauk" is a single figure, I think that would be his full name, but maybe something like Brok or Benzi as a nickname. He's probably found sleeping in MC's bed at first, or in the corner of their bedroom, and their first conversation is waking him up.

Easy to charm, hard to persuade (VERY stubborn)

Favorite things:

Familiar food, familiar places

Darkness or dim light

Edgy animals like black cats and ravens and spiders

Just hanging out and talking

Watching you sleep 👁️

Least favorite things:

Sharing (from EITHER end. You've got your things and he's got his. Unless we're talking about hearts or bedrooms or key to the pantry, then he's got yours.)

Direct light (VERY VERY sensitive to it. This is the only way to get it out of your room (mythologically accurate), but baby will be hurt emotionally. 😔)

thinking very hard about murderbot

All Systems Red was so GOOD!!!! And I immediately started Artifical Condition and I love it more!!!!!

The characterization is so good, 1st Murderbot is relatable (the horrors of being perceived, please let me binge my favorite TV show in peace, too many feelings, nobody look at me, outcast stuck between worlds, on a self discovery quest), also one of my favorite scenes was when Murderbot confesses in front of the science team and is standing in the corner watching their reactions on the security camera feed to avoid eye contact and feel removed from the situation I wish I could do that.

And 2nd it’s written so well that I understand all the incomprehensible parts of existing as a construct android, especially in Artificial Condition where Murderbot interacts with ART. That’s so cool that ART is just an incomprehensibly powerful and gigantic presence Murderbot can feel leaning over their shoulder.

Imagine trying to argue with a super super smart and prying spaceship that is actively researching counterpoints in real time while you are trying to defend yourself, but it won’t leave you alone because it’s nosy and you are literally inside of it and can’t get away. And it bugs you to let it watch TV with you and you have to keep stopping because it’s overly attached to the characters and gets emotional when they die, and when the fictional spaceship gets blown up, your robot watchparty member is so distraught you have to switch shows. And then it ridicules your taste in TV and pries into your life story and calls you a little stupid.👁️👁️ I’m so happy there’s 7 of these books
