la maledizione degli Addams²
Tumblr media
Pairing: wednesday Addams X reader
Wednesday had been avoiding you, deliberately ignoring the itch she felt every time you were near, focusing solely on her investigation. Though it pained her to avoid the deep connection with her soulmate, her determination to solve the mysteries surrounding her took precedence over any emotion. Her investigations had paid off: she had discovered a secret library that led her to the book with the missing page about Rowan (luckily after the Poe Cup), and she had followed her leads into the woods during Outreach Day, finding the lair of the monster and planning to visit it with Eugene.
But unfortunately Enid had dragged her to the Raven.
Wednesday had chosen to use Tyler as a scapegoat. The normal boy, attracted to her, represented a useful resource for her goals. She knew she could exploit his interest to focus on her investigations while distancing herself from Galpin.
But when she saw Eugene with his backpack ready for their excursion, a pressure tightened in her chest. The disappointment on Eugene’s face was palpable, an expression that struck Wednesday in an unexpected way.
"Don’t go into the woods," she told him, her black eyes fixed on him with an intensity that sent chills down his spine.
"We'll go after the party. Stay close" she added.
At the entrance to the ballroom, the itch she had felt grew more intense. Without thinking her eyes began to search for you among the crowd. There you were. A burning fire ignited inside her and in an involuntary gesture she clenched her jaw, producing a crack that revealed her growing frustration. The sight of Yoko, your dance partner, only fueled her irritation.
Damn curse.
The Addams curse that she had always considered both a blessing and a burden now amplified her feelings, making each moment even more painful.
The image of Y/N laughing and enjoying herself with Yoko struck her like a blow to the heart. A pang of pain spread through her chest as if her soul was being torn apart. Every smile from Y/N, every glance exchanged with Yoko felt like a mortal wound.
Wednesday found herself caught in a tearing conflict: on one side was her untamed nature pushing her to keep her distance; on the other an overwhelming desire to get closer, to reconnect with you even if it meant facing vulnerability.
Her gaze involuntarily shifted to Yoko.
The vampire with her charming smile and relaxed demeanor only amplified Wednesday's frustration.
"Damn it," she thought as her hands tightened around Tyler's arm. She wanted to run away but she knew she couldn’t. Her soulmate was there and despite everything, the urge to move closer was undeniable.
Yoko chuckled softly as she noticed how sparks were crackling around your body. You could control lightning. Likely due to the intensity of Wednesday’s gaze, Y/N turned away from Yoko and directed her eyes in Wednesday's direction. By some twist of fate, you were the only two girls in the entire school wearing black dresses at a party where white was the required attire.
Enid's figure suddenly appeared at the entrance, blocking Wednesday’s view of you.
Damn.
"Wednesday! Oh my God, you look amazing!" the blonde exclaimed, bubbling with excitement. Enid was wearing a beautiful white dress with a touch of purple makeup on her face.
Strange.
Wednesday’s gaze shifted to the girl’s date.
"Strange choice for your date," she murmured in a flat voice. Her eyes shot a cold glare at the mayor's son, the leader of the trio that had tried to attack her twice.
The boy shuddered.
"Oh... he came to make his ex jealous, and I wanted to make Ajax jealous," Enid said with a shrug.
Her eyes darted to Tyler.
"Tyler! Are you Wednesday's date?" she asked in surprise, her blue eyes studying her roommate with intensity. "Yeah," the normal boy scratched his head, clearly embarrassed.
"I’m going to get a drink," the curly-haired boy added, leaving her alone with Enid.
"You know, I thought you’d come with Y/N," the blonde said casually, "You two... I don’t know... have great chemistry," she added with a small smile.
A shiver ran down Wednesday’s spine at the mention of your name.
"It seems to me she's having fun with Yoko," Addams murmured with venom, her eyes scanning toward your figure.
Despite the discomfort that enveloped her Wednesday launched into the dance. Her movements were distinct, rigid yet fluid, her hands tracing sinuous precise gestures, her steps seemingly defying the rhythm of the music itself. But during one of those turns her hand accidentally brushed against another’s.
As soon as the fingers touched a jolt of energy shot through her body like thousands of electric shocks sliding across her skin, like invisible spiders crawling in her stomach leaving her paralyzed for a moment. Her breath caught in her throat and her head tilted back in an almost unnatural movement, her eyes wide open toward the ceiling.
A vision struck her with the force of lightning.
The world shattered around her, the party lights vanishing and transforming into blinding flashes. Screams and distant voices echoed in her ears overlapping in an indistinguishable chaos. Among the flashes she glimpsed Crackstone, his menacing figure looming like an impending shadow. Then, like a distorted image, a wedding: black dahlias, a black dress, hands united in an eternal bond all enveloped in a disturbing aura.
Wednesday's body was as rigid as a tightly drawn string, her hands stiff by her sides, every muscle tensed under her pale skin. Her face was twisted in an expression of pure terror as her breath came out in ragged gasps.
And then, everything faded.
The vision dissolved leaving her shaken and trembling, her head still thrown back. Slowly, she tilted forward again as her eyes refocused on the ballroom now again wrapped in the dim lights and chaotic movements of their schoolmates. But the sensation of disorientation persisted, like an echo of the vision that still throbbed in her temples.
She felt something warm on her shoulders and realized it was your hands, steady and sure, supporting her. You had moved closer during her moment of weakness, your Y/C eyes fixed on her with a mixture of concern and alarm. Your expression was tense, your breath quick.
The curse.
Her body seemed unresponsive for a moment, her legs still unsteady. She felt a strange, dark current flowing between the two of you, as if physical contact had been the catalyst for a force that had awakened within her.
"Are you okay? It looked like a vision," you asked, your voice filled with genuine concern. Your tone was low, meant only for her, as you tried to understand what had happened.
Wednesday took a deep breath trying to regain control over the turmoil inside her, but she clearly felt the effects of the curse coursing through her veins. An invisible tension tightened her chest, pulling her forward, almost as if she were compelled to move closer to you. She took a step forward closing the distance between you and her gaze locked determinedly onto yours.
"Yes... I was dancing with Tyler... then I had a vision," Wednesday said in a flat tone, her dark eyes tracing every detail of your face trying to grasp something she couldn’t quite understand.
"Tyler left," you responded, your voice breaking slightly as if admitting that truth cost you more than you wanted to show. Then you clenched your jaw, your expression hardening and in that moment Wednesday swore she saw a flash behind your irises, a reflection that seemed to conceal a storm.
A question crossed her mind like lightning: were you jealous?
Without thinking Wednesday’s hands moved sliding from your shoulders to encircle your neck. The skin beneath her fingers was warm and she felt a shiver that shook her from within like a fire igniting in her chest and consuming her from the inside. She felt... overwhelmed, as if the tide of sensations enveloping her was pulling her underwater leaving her breathless. Her heart pounded in a way she had never experienced before, a frantic and unfamiliar rhythm that muddled her thoughts.
The itch that had overwhelmed her before was gone.
Instead a heat consumed her and pushed her closer to you, as if the simple touch of her hands on your skin was the only thing keeping her upright.
Maybe it's because we touched? she thought for a moment, her mind tangled between logic and instinct searching for an explanation.
"Wednesday, I..." you began, your voice hesitant, almost fearful, as if you were afraid of the reaction you might provoke.
At the mention of her name on your lips Wednesday barely stifled a moan, a low sound escaping from her throat and echoing deeply in her chest. It was as if the sound of her name spoken by you held a different weight, an intensity that made her bones vibrate and burned inside her. Every fiber of her being sensed that this was different, that there was something strange and unstoppable between the two of you, a force she couldn’t fully understand but could not ignore.
"Cara mia" Wednesday whispered, her words almost too intimate, laced with a subtle darkness that sent a shiver through you. Her hands around your neck tightened pulling you closer with a determined hungry strength.
Your cheeks flushed red, a blush that Wednesday watched with hungry eyes.
For a moment the world around you seems to disappear, dissolving into the silence that exists only between the heavy breaths that bind you together. Her mind is overtaken by a primal desire and all she wants is to taste your lips, to feel the warmth of your mouth on hers. She realizes that she wants to consume you whole as if that were the only way to quell the fire burning inside her, as if that were the only way to make you hers.
For the first time she understands what drove her parents toward each other with such intensity. Why Gomez could never stay away from Morticia, why every gesture between them seemed to almost defy the rules of propriety with their passion. But that thought blends with something else, a deep disgust for herself, for how quickly she has yielded to this impulse abandoning her rigidity and her ideals just because of a single touch from you.
Just as this internal struggle rages, a cold drop hits your cheek followed by another that slides down your nose tracing a scarlet path. The sensation of something wet and viscous on your face breaks the moment and when you look up, a red rain begins to fall, like blood pouring from the ceiling, staining your faces and clothes.
Chaos erupts around you.
The other students begin to scream, pushing against each other in a desperate attempt to escape the ballroom. Bodies collide and stumble in a frantic rush, slipping on the floor now covered in blood. The lights flicker on and off in a pulsing rhythm amplifying the panic.
But you remain still, trapped under Wednesday's gaze, her lips curling into a wicked smile. The urge to run her tongue along your cheek to taste you mixed with the blood overwhelms her.
Suddenly a body crashes into her, shoving her violently to the side. Wednesday whirls around, muscles tense, fists clenched ready to retaliate against the intruder. But right in that moment her gaze goes lank and another vision seizes her, ragging her into a spiral of confused and painful images.
She sees red boots stepping on the ground, staining themselves with the dark red that flows like a river. And then a familiar face distorted by the pain caused by the beast's attack:
Eugene.

Wenclair - One Shot -
"I get paid in Favours"
I could not get this idea out of my head, I must have seen a prompt or something somewhere and it's been floating around in my subconscious every since. So thought I'd write a little one-shot to get it out ... Hope you enjoy 😋
"WEDNESDAY ADDAMS?!" Enid screamed causing a few heads to turn including the referred to Wednesday Addams who just scrunch her eyebrows from across the corridor and turned her attention back to her conversation.
"Shhhhh shhh" Yoko hushed her loud friend, darting her eyes around in a small panic "Shut up" she whispered in a harsh tone pushing Enid into the closet behind them away from the prying ears of nevermore students.
"Are you crazy?!" Enid squeaked out in pure fear "Like did somebody spike your blood bag today with crazy juice!" She asked scared, serious and suspicious of her best friends motives.
"Girl chill it was just a suggestion." She gritted her fangs and rolled her eyes at her over frantic bestie.
"Listen I know I need help but that girl is severely unstable and strangely enough the most sought after girl in the school if I ask her for a favour do you know what kind of debt I would need to repay?" Enid panicked all flustered just from the mere mention of the raven haired goddess that plagued the halls of Nevermore.
"She's not all bad" Yoko refutes, a certain knowing smile spreading across her face.
Wednesday Addams was the newest of the Nevermore bunch to be admitted to the school grounds as an outcast and Enid had taken it upon herself to try and get to know everything about her.
She was a force to be reckoned with. And to Enid she was A monotone little ball of madness and mystery that had put the entire school under some kind of witchy spell, she was sure of it.
Since arriving, Wednesday Addams had been hunted, haunted and the victim of an attempted murder... Twice. And even so everyone at Nevermore turned a blind eye allowing her to run a riot across her perfectly protected school. She even had people swooning over her like she was some perverse prize to be one.
You see Enid was the eyes and ears of Nevermore, the go to girl for all the gossip and she always knew everything. But Wednesday Addams remained this silent, closed book of nothingness and that didn't sit right with the blonde girl.
Since being here Enid hadn't avoided the sinister girl at all costs like others originally had. Instead, after every advance she made towards Wednesday had been promptly shut down and her last attempt landing her in the infirmary she made a point of staying as far away from her as possible. This would go unnoticed by Wednesday as she just wasn't interested in thrusting herself into a drama filled void.
There was a thin line between charming and just plain rude, and Enid began to make the distinction easily after only a few weeks.
"I can't ask her for help Yoko" she deflected once again her eyes flicking across her surroundings in a panicked manner "It's suicide!" She whispered again her eyes glazed stepping towards Yoko.
"You need her Enid" Yoko shrugged. "I don't know what else to tell you" she placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and half smiled at the werewolf before, turning around, opening the door and leaving Enid alone with her chaotic mess of a mind buzzing with all the terrifying situations she was about to doom herself too.
....
Later on that day Enid was sat about 3 tables across from the infamous Wednesday Addams trying to muster up the courage to go and talk to her.
She had spent the better part of 2 hours trying to figure out a solution to her little problem but had been unsuccessful and finally accepted that she needed help from the enemy. After noticing her retreat to the library for her free period she had followed her silently, getting ready to ask for a favour.
She looked towards Wednesday who was sat comfortable reading a novel, enjoying the sweet solitude of silence. Then she looked away frustrated, then looked back hopefully before again giving into her anxiety and abandoning her task.
She stared at the ground "Come on Enid don't be an idiot just go and TALK to her" she scolded, whispering to herself. She took a deep breath squeezed her eyes shut and then looked back at Wednesday.
But she wasn't there.
It was as if she had vanished into thin air and in her place an empty chair sat.
"Talk to who?" She heard a voice from behind her and she immediately went into defense mode, her claws retracting and her fangs making an unwanted appearance.
She had recognised the voice and froze unable to peel her eyes away from table to turn and address the girl.
Wednesday,it seemed had freaking teleported behind her because how else, just stood there expectantly waiting for a response.
"Oh have I intruded in a private conversation between you and the invisible man I wasn't aware he was a part of the Nevermore student body" Wednesday remarked a little irritated that the wolf girl had ignored her.
Sure, it wasn't like she was invited into this conversation but Wednesday enjoyed the feeling of being unwanted and making a situation unnecessarily uncomfortable. It amused her to no end especially when she watched the werewolf bite back.
"What's it to you!" She barked out, placing her hand on the back of her chair and turning to shoot daggers at the rude student.
"ooo she barks but does she bite?" Wednesday smirked. It almost felt like she was flirting which only sent Enid's brain into panic mode, doomed never to return back to normal.
"I-uhh" she stuttered out, mentally screaming at herself for sounding so stupid.
"You've been staring at me for the last 20 minutes I would like to know why" Wednesday raised an eyebrow. She had felt the unnerving sense of someone watching her and had immediately recognised it to be Enid after no longer than 30 seconds of her continual staring.
Enid stood up, straightening out her soft striped sleek jumper nervously.
"H-how did you even know that?" She questioned. She was under the impression that she had remained elusive but clearly she was wrong. Or Wednesday just had these incredible witchy senses that helped her be astonishingly perceptive of her environment.
"An eye for an eye?" Wednesday negotiated "You answer my question I'll answer yours" she explained further with a slight nod.
"I was just- I kind of-I just needed to ask" she attempted to begin a few times before mentally face-palming and giving up completely.
"Interesting" Wednesday placed her hand on her chin contemplating the possibilities for Enid's nervousness. This was the first she had ever spoken to her without malicious intent but she had always been rather intrigued by the bubbly creature. And not just because she was the only one in this wretched place who didn't actively avoid her or admire her from afar when she first arrived at the school... Well usually, today being the obvious exception.
"Listen I just- I need your help okay I was told you were the one to go to for ummm certain items" Enid managed to mutter out.
Wednesday understood now but was still encapsulated by the reaction she was getting from the half turned wolf in front of her.
"Come with me" Wednesday tilted her head to direct the girl and wandered into the library stacks, smirking to herself when she heard Enid behind her emit a low growl but still follow her anyway.
"What do you need?" She asked unbothered.
"Suppressants" Enid said, finally a normal conversation she breathed out relaxing. "The full moon is tomorrow" she needlessly explained.
"You don't have any?" Wednesday asked, perplexed.
"No" Enid shrugged.
"But you're a werewolf" Wednesday had to suppress the chuckle that bubbled in the back of her throat like acid.
"I've never fully turned so I've never needed them before but it feels different this time" she explained annoyed "Listen can you get me some or not? I was told you could" she snapped a little bit, discontented once again. This conversation was becoming more difficult by the millisecond and Enid was becoming increasingly more discouraged.
"Don't believe everything you hear" Wednesday mocked, making an obvious jab at Enid's tendency to gossip.
"So that's a No" she sighed in annoyance. So she had risked her sanity for absolutely nothing.
"I didn't say that" Wednesday spoke and Enid perked up noticeably.
"So you can?" she didn't even care that her little outburst of emotions caused Wednesday to wince, she was just happy that she would finally get a good night's rest.
"Yes but you know everything has a price" Wednesday told her plainly.
"Name it" Enid made no attempt to hide her eagerness and reached out to Wednesday who politely stepped back.
"I get paid in favours when I need you I'll let you know" Wednesday explained, waiting for Enid to agree to her conditions before acknowledging the authenticity of the deal.
"Okay but like I don't do anything criminal" Enid made a disgusted face and shuddered even at the thought.
"How utterly dull" Wednesday cocked an eyebrow, unable to understand why this girl was not enticed by the idea of doing something bad.
"Excuse you do I look dull to you" she gestured to her incredibly colourful outfit and distinct features. She had never been so offended by someone before. The audacity!
"No you look rather..." Wednesday flicked her eyes up and down Enid's body "enticing actually" she decided, her lip twitching quietly.
"Umm...Thanks" Enid was taken aback by the compliment and had to force her guard to remain in place rather than create a fortress around her thoughts. This was confusing.
"You know there are other ways to surpress your animalistic urges" Wednesday wiggled her eyebrows and Enids eyes went wide. Was she flirting? Wednesday can flirt? What was happening?! Enid began to lose it, she wasn't sure how to process what she had just heard.
Her brain went into overdrive. Listen. Everyone at Nevermore knew Enid was a raging homo and having an intimidating yet oddly attractive girl flirt with her only ever forcibly sent into her gay panic mode. Naturally.
But Wednesday Addams? Nooo she wasn't... She couldn't be. And even if she was why would she pursue Enid? Surely a girl whose hobbies included witchcraft, grave digging and murder had no business in Enid's innocent unicorn and rainbow filled world... Right?
She must just be misreading her, its not like she's amazing at reading signals from normal people let alone the bluntest girl she had ever met.
"Like what?" Enid found herself asking and absolutely slapped herself for being so stupid and playing into it. She hadn't even realised she had said it until it came spilling out of her mouth like an untamed river.
"Wouldn't you like to know" Wednesday let a deviant smile dance its way across her lips proudly before walking past Enid leaving her in a flustered and confused state.
She stopped just before passing her, shoulder to shoulder, and spoke "Would you?" She asked and Enid turned her head hesitantly. Looking at Wednesday she suddenly felt her knees go weak as she asked
"Would I what?" smiling nervously.
"Like to know" Wednesday spoke as if what she was talking about was insanely obvious. She stared into her soul for a moment before swallowing hard.
"Ummm" Enid gritted her teeth and extensively avoided the attempted eye contact from Wednesday
"I'll let you think about it" she smirked again, knowing exactly the effect she was having on Enid and relishing in it all.
She then left taking long strides, only stopping to turn back and say " Either way I'll have whatever suppressant you need waiting for you in my dorm tonight, remember you have options" Wednesday fought the urge to wink but commended herself on a beautifully played out flirtatious scene she was sure to write about later.
"8' O'Clock okay?" Enid mumbled out nervously, swallowing the anxious lump that had formed in her now extremely dry throat.
"I look forward to seeing if your bark is worse than your bite" Wednesday teased before leaving Enid all hot and bothered and confused and flustered and all of the words and feelings basically.
Enid just stood there, blinked slowly before throwing herself back into the stack of books for support, closing her eyes and lightly hitting her head off of it in pure embarrassment on how she had handled that situation.
"What the f-" she whispered sliding down into a seated position and letting her thoughts drift to what the night may bring with Wednesday Addams. WEDNESDAY FREAKING ADDAMS.

Run, Yoko, run! - Nirn_Aranei - Wednesday (TV 2022) [Archive of Our Own]
Another masterpiece, I really appreciate this new forms of view of switch bodies issues, like this had more sense for me, love it. Sooo funny.
--
Sneak peek:
"Enid, honey... I know you're in love with her!"
The werewolf froze for a moment and dropped the phone from her hands in surprise, the screen showing a new manicure master class.
"What?! No! How could you think such a thing?! I'm not in love with Wednesday!"
"I didn't say anything about Wednesday..." - Yoko grinned even wider, revealing her fangs, and Divina choked on the juice she was drinking at that moment. An awkward silence hung over the tables, and only Enid, realizing what she had just said, gasped silently, growing redder by the second. The Thing frozen in place, mindlessly fiddling with its fingers until it finally slid under the table in horror. Sinclair blue eyes widened and she panicked, gathering her things and running away, looking over her shoulder. Divina giggled stifled and Yoko smiled, not understanding what exactly had happened. True, just a second later, the vampire felt an icy chill run down her spine from a voice that instantly silenced everyone around her.
"I've always wondered... Can you turn into a bat?" - The voice of Wednesday Addams, who appeared not far from Yoko, sent a chill through her nerves

Warning: Angst?? Bad thoughts fluff at the end
Word count: 1.9k
A/N: IM SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG!!! I was sick and I couldn't write :(( this was also kinda rushed I'm sorry 😞
-
Many people couldn't tell the difference between you and Enid. You and your sister were practically twins. Had the same personality, the same humor, and the same behavior. And there was one student that had to deal with the both of you on a daily.
Wednesday Addams.
Both you and Enid would always bug her. But especially you, it seemed you just couldn't stop bothering Wednesday. Or that's what Wednesday would say. Somehow you always stuck with Wednesday without losing a limb. Thing said it was impressive how long you lasted.
After thing said that you swore you felt chills run down your spine. You couldn't put your finger on it but you liked Wednesday's dark personality.
Today was getting on Wednesday's nerves more than usual. She was trying to investigate more about the hyde but principal Weems has been keeping a closer eye on Wednesday.
You were walking down the school hall when the sight of a particular braided ravenette caught your eye. You were to catch up with the ravenette.
"Hey, Wednesday! What's up?"
The playful voice that Wednesday's very familiar with made her eye twitch. "Nothing." She replied with that cold tone of hers.
Your eyes wandered down seeing the papers that were in Wednesday's grasp.
She's definitely up to something.
"Yeah? What are those papers then?" You asked with a raised eyebrow, Wednesday suddenly took a sharp turn to her right. You almost bumped into a wall because of that.
"It's just homework."
You still didn't believe her. Something was definitely up, and you were determined to find out.
While you were unaware of Wednesday's feelings, she needed to be somewhere else. She really didn't need you. As much as Wednesday can... Tolerate you, the last thing she needs is you tagging along with her in the woods. Especially since principal Weems is currently distracted at the moment and she needs to get this done.
"Can I see? Just out of-" Wednesday suddenly stopped in her tracks. Making you stop as well. She turned around to face you with a glare.
"Y/N don't you have anything else better to do? I'd rather you not burden me with your presence."
Her reply caught you off guard. Wednesday has said many mean things to you but this time... It really got to you.
You only clenched your jaw, before walking away from Wednesday. She watched you leave but the sight of your expression when she made that comment stuck to her for some reason.
While walking through the woods thing crawled out of her jacket and dropped down to the ground. Wednesday stopped and looked down to look at thing with a raised eyebrow. He signed that her comment towards you was a bit harsh. Wednesday only scoffed.
"Thing it's just the truth it doesn't matter."
She was quick to dismiss it and continued to her destination. Thing couldn't do anything more so he only followed Wednesday.
-
Once Wednesday arrived back at her dorm she was greeted with an angry Enid.
"Wednesday what the hell?! Why would you say that to Y/N?"
Wednesday only stood like a statue watching her frustrated roommate pace around the room.
"Say what to Y/N?" Enid snapped her head towards Wednesday. "Don't act clueless Wednesday! You know exactly what I mean."
Wednesday thought about it, then it came to mind.
"What? When I called her a burden?"
Enid stopped pacing around the room to look directly on Wednesday. "Yes! Wednesday, she just... Doesn't like being called that, no one does!" Enid was exasperated.
"I do." Wednesday simply stated. Enid groaned in annoyance. "Of course you do." Enid walked past Wednesday and stormed out of their shared room.
Wednesday stood there for a moment, thinking about what Enid had said.
'she just doesn't like being called that.'
Wednesday heard the hesitance in Enid's voice. Like she almost said something else. What was she supposed to say? What did it mean?
Did it bother you that much?
Thing dropping down from Wednesday made her snap out of her train of thought. She quickly walked to her desk. She has better things to do than think about that.
-
It was a new day, and Wednesday needed something from you. She needed some information about something and you knew a thing or two about that. Wednesday looked around the sea of students trying to spot you in the crowd. Finally, she found you and walked her way toward you.
"Y/N"
The cold voice made you tense up. You haven't seen Wednesday since yesterday. And you weren't planning to see her anytime soon. But it seemed she ruined your planning.
You only looked at her with a straight face. "Yes?" Wednesday caught the hint of hesitance in your voice.
"I need you to look at this. You know things about these right?"
She handed you the paper but you weren't interested. You avoided eye contact. "Look Wednesday I can't help you right now- I have to go sorry." You left in a hurry.
Wednesday stood there slightly taken aback. You had never rejected her requests before.
Once she had given you a task you would finish it in a heartbeat. The rejection made her feel something she wasn't familiar with. It made her feel an ache in her chest. She didn't like it all.
She needed to get rid of it.
The rest of the day Wednesday didn't see anymore. Not even a glimpse. You weren't following her like a lost puppy anymore. She didn't know why but without you she felt a sense of... Loneliness? No, she refused to believe it.
Meanwhile, you were avoiding her like the plague. You couldn't face her now. What she said to you still hurts. You were staying at the library. What she had said loomed around your mind.
Burden.
You hated that word. It always made you feel horrible. You've heard people call you that much too many times. Especially from your own family.
This went on for another day. Wednesday didn't see you. And those feelings were getting to her. She couldn't focus on her investigation without thinking about the expression you made when she said that comment.
That hurt expression. How your lips frowned the moment she said that. It made her stomach turn in a way. And not in a good way.
-
Finally, nighttime approached. Wednesday was typing away for her novel while Enid was laying down on her bed using her phone.
But unfortunately for Wednesday, she couldn't focus on her novel. She couldn't think of what else to put. This was new. Her movements would falter too much. She couldn't come up with something fast.
It was all because of you.
She thought about it again. Finally realizing that what she had said was too hurtful for you. It made her clench her jaw. She didn't like to admit she was wrong. But this feeling wasn't right whatsoever. She needed you to forgive her. But she didn't know how. This was foreign to her. But there was one person that knew. Your sister, Enid.
She turned to the blonde. Enid was giggling while typing on her phone. She honestly couldn't believe she was asking for help from Enid so that you could forgive her. She sighed, she had to get this done.
She stood up and walked towards Enid's side of the room. Crossing the line she stood directly in front of Enid.
Enid put down her phone to look up on Wednesday.
"Um, can I help you Wednesday?"
Wednesday clenched her jaw. "I'm in a situation and I..." Enid raised her eyebrow. "...need your help." That raised Enid's curiosity. She sat up and listened more.
"What do you need help with exactly?" Wednesday looked away, "Y/N, I need her to talk to me again." Wednesday almost said it through gritted teeth.
Enid's eyes widen in surprise. Never would she think Wednesday wanted you to forgive her. But this was a big deal for her too. You were her sister after all.
Enid grinned patting down beside her signaling Wednesday to sit. Wednesday listened and sat down.
"And why exactly do you want Y/N to forgive you?" Enid wanted to know why. This was something she wasn't expecting from Wednesday. Wednesday looked down coming up with the words to describe what she was feeling.
"I don't know why but I feel this stupid feeling in my chest whenever she ignores me. It feels like some odd ache and I despise it."
Enid processed her words. Ache in the chest when you ignore her... Enid figured it out. She couldn't believe it. She felt giddy. "Wednesday, I think you like my sister!" She said with a big smile.
Wednesday only stared at her in shock. Was that even possible? Does she really like you? She thought about it more. It made sense much to her dismay.
Enid was still celebrating this discovery before Wednesday stopped her. "Are you going to help me or not?" Enid quickly stopped and thought about it for a moment. "Wednesday I think you should just apologize to her. Tell her how you truly feel."
Tell you how she felt? She thought about it for a moment, maybe Enid is right. This could be exactly what she needs to do, tell you how she felt. Wednesday agreed to it and Enid told her she'll get you to stay in an empty classroom so that you and Wednesday can have some privacy.
-
It was the next day and Wednesday was somewhat ready. Enid gave her the green light to go to the classroom where you were at. Once she entered you sat in one of the chairs waiting for whatever Enid told you was a 'surprise.'
The sound of the door opening made you look at whoever was there and made your heart drop. You wanted to leave but Wednesday stopped you.
"Y/N I need to talk to you, it's urgent."
This time there was no room for argument. You only nodded and she closed the door. She made her way toward you, standing directly in front of you. There was an awkward silence. Wednesday was finding the right words to tell you while you shifted uncomfortably in your seat.
"Y/N I realized what I had said to you was a bit too harsh. And I..." You tilted your head listening to what she was saying. "... Apologize for saying something like that. I wasn't aware it made you sensitive. And it seems I realized while you were gone I have these feelings for you. I'm not sure how to deal with it."
You stared at her for a moment. Letting what she had said sink in. Wednesday apologizing? That was something you'd never let down. And her having feelings? For you? Made you feel confident in a way.
You stood up and made your way to her. "Feelings?" You asked, "Yes, Enid told me." You smiled. Wednesday felt some sort of warmth when she saw you smile. She didn't know what to do. "I'll forgive you, but you have to do something." Wednesday raised her eyebrow listening to what you were gonna say.
"You have to give me a kiss."
That made Wednesday glare at you, "You don't deserve it." you frowned and Wednesday walked towards the exit but stopped beside you. She gave you a peck on your cheek. "This is all you get for now."
The feeling of her cold lips on your cheek made you feel giddy. You were quick to follow Wednesday leaving while Wednesday felt a bit satisfied.

Wenclay Tingz: Obsession Edition
Wednesday is wholehearted mind, body, soul obsessed with Bianca and will admit it
Bianca will deny it but she's just as obsessed with Wednesday (if not more)
Bianca tries to hide her obsession (passing it off as "She's my rival of course I pay attention to her" but she's doing a terrible job
Divina is scared for life because she has woken up multiple times to find Wednesday standing over Bianca's sleeping form. (Divina, clutching her pearls: Jesus Christ its the middle of the night what the fuck are you doing in our room.)
Wednesday's definitely the one who is more outright stalker-ish
Bianca just silently gathers all information she can find on Wednesday and the Addams family as a whole (Gotta know your enemies or something like that. Yoko: That's.....not......)
Bianca definitely doesn't have a folder in her photo of a bunch of Stalker-esque photos of Wednesday. (Yoko stop trying to go through my phone there's nothing there)
Wednesday has a vial of Bianca's blood she wears around her neck (Enid: How'd you even get that cause I know she didn't give it to you.)
They both keep notes of all the others little habits and quirks and if anyone sees it and asks about it the only reply they get is: Know thy enemy
Everybody else is rightfully concerned at first until they realize that they are mutually obsessed (still very concerned)
Enid: Aw they match eachothers freaks. It's kinda cute. -Divina: Eh -Yoko: It's really... not
Bianca definitely doesn't get violent urges when idiots try to talk to Wednesday (Yoko: B chill I can see your chompers)
Wednesday has infact maimed someone for flirting with Bianca (Her being a siren doesn't warrant nor excuse unwanted advances. Enid stop looking at me like that, he's still alive. -Enid: Barely)
If Xaviers prescence at Nevermore is suddenly scarce and Gabrielle disappears off the face of the earth no one really questions either of them.

Wednesday: yes I had friends before Enid all though we haven't talked much
Enid: YOU HAVE FRIENDS!

Wednesday: ok ok I will tell you chill
My first...friend...I had was Lynda gleets
Then there was Lyla and Kyla
After that there was Joel Glicker
Then the final friend I had before here was Sam Sedgwick

Enid: you'll see them all here tomorrow mark my words
Wednesday: Enid I have no way to contact them I doubt you do
Enid: oh don't worry I have my ways.
Wednesday: sure Enid sure
Bianca: you'd be surprised what Enid can do
Wednesday: any other person I would honestly write off but your the most sane one here not like it's a challenge though but anyways the fact that it's you saying that has me worried
Divina: Damn even Wednesday is on the train of when Bianca says something happened it almost certainly did
Yoko: that has to be the most shocking revelation yet, and Wednesday said she had friends before us
Enid: wait us, as in She considers us friends
Everyone (some very demeaning): Aww Wednesday
Wednesday (blushing glaring): I'm leaving goodbye
Everyone:

Ok, hear me out on this. Enid gets kicked out during the break for something stupid, so she packs a bag, gets some money from her brothers, and she's gone. Now she's 16 and homeless. She would go to Yoko's, but she's probably doing some weird mafia princess stuff, and Wednesday doesn't really cross her mind either. She really doesn't want to intrude, so she does the next best thing: she goes to Greece to chill with her grandpa.
I created lore for this shit, so just listen. Murray's dad was kicked out of their original pack, so they're by themselves for a while. Murray meets Esther, she marries him, he takes her last name, and he's adopted into his wife's pack. His father, however, decides he doesn't like the pack and what they stand for, so he stays alone in Greece, only sometimes getting phone calls from his grandchildren (mainly Enid). Where's the grandma? We don't know. It's always just been Murray and his dad.
So she buys a plane ticket I'm gonna say she could get it the same day for convenience, and that's that. So she shows up at, like, 4 in the morning, knocking on his door. She memorized his address, and taxis can get you a long way, he’s kinda shocked at first who wouldn’t be but he recovers quickly and invites her in, she explains her situation, and he's like, "Ok, cool. You just shifted and almost died. Let's get you trained so you don't almost die next time." He also trash talks her parents for a while cause who kicks out their daughter for any reason. (Ok, he needs a name, so for now, he's "Mani." I know it's kinda lame. Give me a suggestion if you want.)
So every day, they go out and, I don't know, do cool werewolf stuff. But unfortunately, that means Enid's been unintentionally ghosting her friends. So the werewolf has essentially disappeared off the face of the earth. Nobody's heard from her in who knows how long, but she's not thinking about it. Cool werewolf stuff is way more important, obviously. But when she does finally pick up her phone, she's got hundreds of messages. Most of them are from Wednesday, and the rest are from Yoko and Kent. It's kinda surprising, but she sends an "I'm alive, stop worrying" text with a picture attached, and I guess that calms them down a bit.
So they continue getting "Hey, I'm alive, don't freak out" type texts during their break, and once they can come back to school, Enid and grandpa Mani pull up in matching cloud-shaped sunglasses. And from then on, she now lives with a grandpa that kinda looks like Zeus and has a bunch of new physical abilities so she doesn't almost die next time.
(Part of this was the fact I just think Enid should have a godly grandparent she deserves it and I also have a very very overactive imagination so here we are)

Marked By Fate
Pt 1
Chapter 1: Unseen Connection
It was a dreary autumn rainy day, the sky grey. Puddles formed on the side walks as people hustle to get to their jobs, appointments. The rain falls, steadily, creating a rhythmic patter against the windows and the rooftops. The vibrant fall foliage, rich with hues of red, orange, yellow and green. Appears muted and subdued under the overcast sky. The air is thick with the earthy scent of wet leaves and soil. The chill in the air, prompting people to bundle up in cozy sweaters and in raincoats. The rain providing a soothing scene for a day spent indoors with a warm drink and a good book. Which somehow seemed to set the mood for Enid, this morning. As she got ready to go to a coffee shop herself.
It was Enid's first day, at her brand new job. "The Blackbird Cafe". She was nervous as shit. The bell above the door jingled softly as Enid Sinclair stepped into the coffee shop. It was tucked away in the quieter, darker corners in Jericho. It looked as if it belonged in some type of gothic novel. It had a shadowy interior illuminated by flickering of candlelight, miss matched colored chairs and wooden tables that creaked with every touch. It definitely had character, but not the kind of character that Enid Sinclair was used to.
She walked towards the back office, placed her keys down in her little locker for the employes. She grabbed an apron off the shelf, as she adjusted her apron, Enid took a deep breath. She could do this, "I got this!" She mumbled as she took another deep breath. Trying to swallow her nerves. She had just moved to the town of Jericho for college. And this job was meant to cover the bills, still she felt out of place in a shop that practically screamed "Bleak". Hopefully, this job would only be temporary. She just knew her bright pink and blue streaks in her blonde hair, and her floral pins stood out like a sore thumb. Screaming like fireworks, landing against the coffee shop's dark walls.
"Hey Kiddo!" called out her boss, Yoko. Yoko was a vampire, and an exotic beauty. She was standing behind the counter, cleaning the espresso machine. "You ready for your first shift?" She asked with casual indifference.
"Totally." Enid replied, flashing her signature wide grin. Fangs showing off in the candlelight cafe. Though the butterflies in her stomach told a different story.
"You know that I can hear your heart beat right?" Yoko stayed with a slight grin at the were wolf girl.
"I forgot, I don't know why I'm so nervous. This place seems so... cozy?" Enid remarked to the vampire.
Yoko snorted. "Cozy? More like haunted, but you'll get used to it. And hey, you might even meet our regular customer. She's a bit of a legend around these parts." Yoko said as she took a break wiping off the espresso machine. She winked at Enid, and grinned.
Enid's curiosity piqued. She was intrigued to say the least.
"Legend? What's that supposed to mean?" Enid asked the grinning vampire.
"I should let you find out for yourself, but fuck. It's a slow day. And this bitch needs some entertainment." Yoko paused, "Wednesday Addams. She's here almost every day, orders the same thing: black coffee, no cream, no sugar. She doesn't talk, doesn't smile. Just... stares. You'll know her as soon as you lay eyes on her. She's definitely quirky and spooky. That's for sure. " Yoko, said as she turned back around to finish her task.
"Says the dark, brooding vampire!" Enid remarked with a nervous chuckle. "Sounds like fun." But inside, she couldn't quite shake the feeling of anticipation. Something about this place felt important. Though she couldn't quite put her finger on the "why?" just yet.
Across town, Wednesday Addams stood in the stark fluorescent lighting of the coroner's office, her black gloves on as she examined the body before her. Death had always been such a comforting constant in her life. A puzzle, that she understood deeply. The sterile scent of formaldehyde filled the room as she methodically dissected the corpse that was laying on the table in front of her.
"Time of death, approximately four days ago," she muttered to herself, her voice calm and clinical. She felt more at home here among the dead than she ever dreamed about being among the living. Emotions, attachments, friendships, and worse romantic entanglements were just well, they were messy. And unpredictable, and pointless. Things she had no time for.
The scalpel in her hand moved with precision, revealing more of the corpse's deep dark secrets. However as she worked on the body, an odd sensation tugged at the back of her mind. It was faint, almost imperceptible, but it had been growing stronger over the past few weeks. An unusual restlessness. She would have to ask Thing if this continued.
Wednesday prided herself on being in control of her every thought and feeling, but this... This was different. This was something she had never dealt with. It wasn't logical. And it certainly wasn't explainable. And it all seemed to stem from one peculiar place.
The Blackbird Cafe.
No matter how hard she tried to dismiss it, the pull towards that coffee shop lingered. It had started the day she stepped in for a quick drink. A decision she had initially made without much thought. Yet now, it had become a routine. Though she couldn't for the life of her, explain why. She hated routines, detested the mundane things in life. However something about that place. Wednesday huffed, annoyed at herself. She would go again today, if only to prove to herself that it was nothing more than what was becoming an irritating habit.
I wanna hold the hand inside you
I wanna take the breath that's true
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
It was a slow afternoon at The Blackbird Cafe, almost a dreamy atmosphere. Enid was almost lulled to sleep by the soft song, that was playing on the old radio on the counter. The haunting vocals, and gentle guitar strumming acting as a lullaby. Blending in with the quiet conversations and the ambient sounds of clinking cups. Almost ethereal. Yes today was a slow day, when Enid spotted her. The customer who could only be Wednesday Addams.
She was hard to miss, dressed in all black. From head to toe. With raven hair parted in the middle, going off into two separate tight braids. Her expression was unreadable. Eyes dark and piercing, as if she were studying every detail to memory. With a level of scrutiny that would make anyone else uncomfortable. Enid swallowed hard, suddenly aware of how loud her heartbeat felt in the suddenly even more quiet cafe.
"That's her." Yoko whispered as she walked past, nudging Enid with her elbow. "Good luck. You'll need it."
You live your life, you go in shadows
You'll come apart and you'll go blind
Some kind of night into your darkness
Colored your eyes with what's not there
Fade into you
Enid's palms were sweating as she made her way to the counter, where Wednesday stood waiting. She tried to summon her usual cheeriness, but the strange cold aura around Wednesday made it harder than it usually was. "Hi! What can I get for you today?"Enid asked, her voice a touch too bright. Wednesday didn't respond right away. She glanced at the bubbly blonde girl, with the pink and blue streaks in her hair. Her expression unreadable, before finally speaking. "Black coffee. No cream, no sugar."
"Coming right up!" The werewolf girl said as she moved quickly, her hands were slightly shaking as she poured the coffee. When she turned to hand it to the dark haired goth girl, their fingers brushed for the briefest moment, and that's when it happened.
A sharp burning sensation shot through Enid's hand, like a spark of electricity. She gasped, nearly dropping the cup. Wednesday's eyes flickered down to her wrist, and Enid's eyes followed her gaze. There on her skin, was the faintest outline of a tattoo. It was small, no bigger than that of a coin, but it was in the shape of a raven. Enid blinked, confused but before she could say anything, Wednesday had snatched the coffee and turned to leave. Her face set in stone.
"Wait! Did you?", Enid began, but Wednesday was already gone, the door swinging shut behind her with a soft jingle of the bell. She looked down at her wrist again, heart pounding. The tattoo was still there, growing clearer by the second. "What the hell?" Enid whispered, rubbing at her skin. No matter how hard she tried, the mark wouldn't fade.
Outside the coffee shop, Wednesday gripped her wrist tightly, her heartbeat loud in her ears. This wasn't possible. It wasn't logical. And yet, the werewolf shaped mark on her skin was there. As real as the cold autumn air biting at her face. A soulmate mark. Wednesday had heard of such things of course. A quaint myth, passed down through generations about destined lovers. She had always dismissed it as nonsense, a fairy tale meant to pacify those who feared loneliness. However, now standing in the alley behind The Blackbird Cafe, Wednesday couldn't dismiss the burning mark on her wrist. It was an irrational phenomenon, something that defied all logic, and she loathed it.
She loathed the idea that her fate, that her life could be tied to someone else's in such an arbitrary, mystical way. She flexed her hand, trying to will the mark away, but no matter, it stayed. Darkening with each passing second. "No." Wednesday muttered under her breath. "I won't let this happen." Without a second glance back at the coffee shop, she made a decision. She would never go there ever again.

What r some wenclair headcanons you have or things you’d want to see in S2
Ooh, let's see, Wenclair headcanons:
Enid speaking Greek, and Wednesday going feral over it because of a dormant Addams gene that makes them absolutely weak for languages they don't know.
The Gomezification of Wednesday Addams once she's fallen in love with Enid, because I personally find the idea that in her determination not to become her mother she accidentally becomes her father, which is made evident when she falls in love with Enid, too hilarious not to love.
Wednesday doing creepy Addams-type things while attempting to court (ask out) Enid, who doesn't get the message and thinks Wednesday's threatening to kill her. (Gets me every time).
Thing, Eugene, and/or Yoko being the biggest Wenclair shipper(s) in-universe.
Wednesday keeping the majority of their dating relationship relatively chill in public (some light hand-holding, a pet name or two, maybe even a kiss on the cheek every once in a while), but then going all out with grand romantic gestures and midnight serenades and adoring kisses when it's just the two of them.
All this amongst a plethora of others, but since this is already getting a bit wordy, I'll move along to the next bit.
As for things I want to see in Season 2, literally the first and major thing that comes to mind is PLEASE NO MORE FORCED ROMANCES OR LOVE TRIANGLES.
The only thing that made the boring love triangle from Season 1 at all bearable was from how clearly Wednesday did not give a shit about it and how she repeatedly told both Xavier and Tyler that she really did not give a shit about their feelings or their crushes on her, she has more important and much more interesting things to do with her time, thank you very much.
There was an interview with the writers of the show where they mentioned their plan was to focus more on Wednesday's relationships with her mother and Enid, and I am on my knees BEGGING that this will happen.
Wenclair shipper though I am, I adored the platonic friendship between Enid and Wednesday more than anything else in the show, especially since I feel it contributed the most to Wednesday's character arc over the first season.
I am well-aware that Wenclair ever becoming canon is probably a long-shot, despite some of Netflix's recent major, original, and successful works including leading gay characters. (I'm looking at you, Fear Street trilogy, my wonderful beloved).
So if we are never given the blessing of seeing Wenclair becoming canon in a natural progression of their relationsip, I am of the firm opinion that aroace Wednesday is probably the most realistic and best outcome we're going to get in canon.
Besides that, I'm hoping for a mystery just as interesting and complex as the one in Season 1, seeing the character arcs for Lucas Walker and Bianca hinted at in Season 1, and seeing Enid trying to convince Wednesday to use her brand new phone for more than just investigating the stalker, and maybe even trying to get her to download social media. (I also enjoy the idea of Thing either getting a phone of his own to do that stuff with or using Wednesday's phone for it, like downloading Twitter and friending Enid).

Wednesday characters playing Among Us
Eugene, calls for emergency meeting: So uh, guys I found Rowan's body in the Storage room. Wednesday: Is there anyone else with you when you found Rowan? Eugene: Oh, I saw red and green near the body! Enid: So that's Tyler and Xavier. Wednesday: Interesting... Tyler: Just so everyone knows, when I got there Xavier was already standing near the body. Xavier: Liar! I literally saw you get out from a vent and kill Rowan! Tyler: I'm not lying guys, I swear. Don't bring personal issues in the game Thorpe. Xavier: OH REALLY? Bianca: You're still hung up on that mural Xavier? Wasn't that like a year ago already? Tyler: Right? plus don't you guys think he's been acting weird since we started the game? He keeps talking about catching the imposter when he's really the one!
Xavier: I was just saying that because I had a bad feeling it was YOU! Tyler: SUS. Enid: Yeah, Xavier dude I'm with Tyler in this one. Wednesday: I agree, plus Tyler was always with me doing tasks. Xavier: I WARNED YOU EARLIER NOT TO STICK WITH HIM SINCE HE'S SUS. Wednesday: Hm, then how come I'm still alive? Xavier: GEE, I DUNNO LET'S SEE. OH, BECAUSE HE LIKES YOU AND SAVING YOU FOR HIS LAST KILL? Bianca, silently agreeing: Still, that doesn't have anything to do with this. Xavier: WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT DOESN'T?! IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH- Tyler: You're getting too emotional dude. Calm down. Eugene: There's not enough time guys, we should vote the imposter now. Xavier: GUYS, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME! I SWEAR I'M NOT THE IMPOSTER- Everyone: *votes for Xavier Xavier was not the Imposter. 1 Imposter remains. Tyler: Enid: Eugene: Bianca: Wednesday: Wednesday: This is a waste of time, I'm going to work on my novel now. ______________________________________________________________ *After the game* Bianca: I knew Xavier wasn't the imposter. I just wanted to eject him. I've actually been trying to when I saw Yoko kill Ajax and called for an emergency meeting. I'm a bad bitch but never a snitch, so it's only right to vote someone else right? And that's obviously Xavier. <<< Enid: This game is actually confusing for me, since everyone was playing it, I had no choice but to join. Doing tasks was fun though, I think I've done more task in this game than in real life, my room is so messy right now, Wednesday will be mad at me. It's not my fault she's allergic to life and colors, that's just who I am. <<< Eugene: I would've never voted Xavier, but he was acting so sus. Now, I feel bad since he wasn't the imposter. I thought it was Bianca since I played with her before and she was a very sly imposter, I got chills when she killed me one time. <<< Kent: I just called a meeting because I missed them. Then Yoko killed me in front of everybody. They're all monsters. <<< Yoko: Killing is fun, I get Tyler. Ajax liked doing tasks alone so I got to him first. I accidentally pushed the wrong button and killed Kent in front of everybody. Shame I couldn't kill all of them. <<< Ajax: I am nothing but a good crewmate trying to save the game, then I SUDDENLY TURNED INTO A GHOST. WHY PEOPLE? <<< Rowan: I thought it was Wednesday. She's been tailing me when the game started, then all of a sudden that Galpin guy showed up and killed me. Damn that guy. <<< Tyler: I didn't mean to kill them, but it was just so fun I couldn't stop. And I get to spend time with Wednesday so it's a win-win situation. <<< Wednesday: I knew Tyler was the imposter. I got a vision when he entered the ship. I was just waiting for him try and dare to kill me. But 3 crewmates have been eliminated, and there I was still alive. It was amusing watching him squabble with Xavier and get him to be ejected though. <<< Xavier: THOSE SONS OF BITCHES. I WILL NEVER PLAY WITH THEM AGAIN, SPECIALLY THAT GALPIN. (poor Xavier tho. its so fun to see him freak out and defend himself >< anyways hope you enjoyed this brainrot of mine. I think there would be more of this shenanigans. probably. and fyi I actually don't know much about Among Us, I only played it once or twice and I was both imposter, (hate being imposter) my whole body temperature was high, and my hands were trembling, i don't know how Tyler do it fr. lol)

enid x JOC polycule anon again
i saw that ask where Yoko is paying Ajax to make all three girls jealous and i thought that was hilarious
when Yoko first tells Ajax abt the idea he’s like ‘no fucking way i will actually die’ then Yoko becomes extremely annoying about it (and offers a shitton of money) so eventually he accepts mostly to get her to stfu (and also the money)
i imagine after taking the deal he lives in constant fear because he can practically hear Wednesday planning his murder every time he’s around Enid, feel Tara’s glares boring holes into his very soul and did Phoebe just growl at him—
and the thing abt Ajax is that (i imagine) it was a mutual break-up and theyre still friends so there isnt any like, super angsty shit going on between them that they have to overcome so yk
one day he overhears the 3 of them talking about the best way to get rid of him and because he’s prolly not very sneaky they see him
so after a few seconds of silence he just fucking runs for his life, screaming as they chase after him
he finds Yoko in the quad and he’s like ‘hEY CAN WE FINISH THE DEAL THING NOW ENID’S SUITORS WERE LITERALLY PLANNING MY MURDER—‘ and then they show up and he runs again and Yoko’s dying of laughter
meanwhile Enid arrives in the quad cuz its lunch and she just sees Wednesday throwing several knives towards Ajax in quick succession, Tara running after him and Phoebe jumping onto him from the second floor wtf—
i just think that would be really funny LMAOAOAO
yeah enjax are chill, they're homies and it simply didn't work out. It left enid feeling like she needs to overcompensate for her relationships tho but she holds no hard feelings
idk about yoko paying ajax to make them jealous because wednesday can be very dangerous and while she enjoys a bit like everyone else, yoko knows that wednesday would maim when willing
So i think ajax genuinely hanging out with enid would help! so they vibin, the girls get jelly because of this etc etc
enjax as bros will forever be neat

My requests are open! 🖤 A rewrite of a previous fic on my ao3. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Wednesday was appalled by herself. To have such terrible taste.
...She couldn't pull her eyes away from a stupid, tacky lava lamp. The colors (stupid neon green, such a terrible color) swirled in an amazingly satisfying way, bending and twisting in ways that Wednesday couldn't pull her eyes away from. Usually, certain lights would cause her pain. But she found that this light (a very stupid outdated one for that matter) was calming for her. Muscles that she didn't know we're tense relaxed at watching it. Until she was pulled out of her thoughts
"Wednesday?" Enid hummed.
"Are you looking at the lava lamp?" Her tone was not accusatory, but Wednesday felt that way anyway. She swiftly turned her back to Enid, feeling her eyes wide. "No." She said, beginning to walk away from it. She heard Enid running to catch up, and she slowed down to let her. Enid caught up and giggled, shifting her bag to her right shoulder. With no reason at all, Wednesday moved her bag and held it with her left hand. Just because, of course. There wasn't a real reason to. Enid's hand brushed against Wednesdays. It had taken Wednesday time, but she didn't even flinch at the touch. She had always pulled away from affectionate, ”social” touch. She found it uncomfortable and useless. But Wednesday got used to Enid. Slowly, she began to actually touch Enid. Only little things. A guide by the shoulders. A playful kick in the shin. A tug on newly dyed hair. Wednesday was sure that Enid was the only person who was allowed to touch her back. Her touches were... Gentler, to put it out there honestly. Softer. If Wednesday was being honest, those were the touches she was afraid of the most. She had never really been one for it. Her Mother had even mentioned that as a baby, she would prefer to not be held at all, not even by her mother's careful, pale hands.
Wednesday could recall several times she had been bothered by soft touches. The tags on the back of her clothes. The wisp of fingers on her arm. Someone touching her hair. Each one left a burning, hives like feeling on her. She immediately would feel the urge to jump, and scratch at the offended area. How people could be OK with, or even enjoy those touches always confused Wednesday. Often times, she would wake up to red marks on her in the mornings. She had a habit of scratching herself even in her sleep, even now.
But with Enid, it was different. Enid understood when Wednesday didn't want to do something. Not only hugging or touch, she noticed many things she didn't want to do. Once, Wednesday remembered, she had been invited to a party by Yoko. She instantly froze up, feeling her throat go tight and dry, her mind spinning at the prospect. Kids her own age, huddled in a tight space, probably with alcohol, probably with music. The thought was horrific. She could feel it now. But Enid saved her. She quickly coughed extremely loudly, and said in a tone that deserved a Grammy, probably -- "Sorry, but um. We can't. I'm real sick, and we don't want to get you sick too." Yoko looked to Wednesday to confirm it. Wednesday felt a chill go down her back at having to look at her sunglasses, without any kind of cue in her eyes to see how she might be feeling. But she managed to let out a tiny cough. And that was enough. She had made sure to thoroughly thank Enid for that. And Enid only smiled. She didn't expect anything.
That didn't prevent a jelly donut appearing by her bed, though. Wednesdays way of saying thank you.
It was so much better to communicate with actions rather than words. So, Wednesday said something with her hands. She reached out, and grasped Enid's hand. Enid stopped dead in her tracks, looking down to look at Wednesday. Wednesday didn't feel the pressure of keeping eye contact with her, but she did. Only because her eyes were so beautiful. "We're about to cross" she said, turning to hit the crosswalk button. She gazed forward, acting uncaring in her typical fashion. But in the corner of her eye, Enid grinned. She held her hand firmly. Wednesday bit her cheek, but the corner of her mouth tilted upwards anyway, ready to continue the day.
Wednesday awoke as she usually did, her eyes opening with no sign of her actually being alive, and sat up. As she shifted, she realized she had refrained from scratching herself in her sleep. But then she jumped at a new, fluorescent sight. A lava lamp on her desk. To be exact, the one she had caught herself looking at the other day. Wednesday's lips twitched briefly, her joy unmatched by anything. She had to return the favor. She quickly began to get ready, throwing on her weekend clothes to go out into town. "Wenny?"
"Where are you going?" Enid murmured, beginning to shift in her bed, tiredly lifting her head from her pillow. "The bakery." Wednesday said. She swallowed. But barely hesitated. Why would she, with Enid? "Would you like to join me?" She asked, fingering the strap of her leather bag. Such a nice, smooth leather. It was a pleasing texture. Enid nodded with a hum, getting up with a stretch that cracked her back. "I'll give you 5 minutes" Wednesday said kindly. "15?" Mumbled Enid, who sat on her vanity, looking sleepily at her makeup.
Wednesday compromised with 10. In 9 minutes and 38 seconds later, Enid was ready. Wednesday appreciated the punctuality. Right before they left, Wednesday reached out. Enid looked shocked, but quickly grasped her hand with her bigger one. They walked out. "What are we getting?" Enid asked. We. Together. It made Wednesday flutter her free fingers happily. She felt no need to hold back her happy stimming with Enid, even in public, a habit that had been forced out of her. " jelly donuts" Wednesday saw Enid smile out of the corner of her eye. "I knew that was you" she giggled. Wednesday glanced at Enid briefly, but had no words. She was. Happy.

Ler!Wednesday Lee!Enid
Something shifted on Wednesday's day. Like it seemed like a normal school day in Nevermore, but something was off. On a sunny, shining morning Enid wasn't in her bed. It was routine that Enid came jerking and waking up Wednesday until she demanded Enid to stop it. It was odd, she didn't come to lunch, she skipped one of the few classes they had together, then ran to be alone in Eugene's lair of bees. Before their last class, Wednesday went to Yoko, keeping her monotone voice but inside she was seconds away from her voice cracking down and her balling into tears.
Wednesday: Enid hasn't annoyed me all day. Tell me where she is now or else I'm harming the first person I lay my eyes on. Starting with you.
Yoko: Chill, don't hurt me. Enid got into a fight with her parents yesterday, she's fine now but it was rough this morning.
As bubbly as she is Enid periodically keeps the sad stuff to herself. Wednesday didn't know until today from Yoko about Enid's parents, and how her Mom constantly pushes her into wolf conversion camp. When the sweet girl is sad, she never wants it to affect Wednesday. She instead separates herself and comes into public view until she's ready. Wednesday spent the remaining break time shedding her tears and expressing her thoughts to Thing in the bathroom stall. Thing said she saw Enid laughing it up with Bianca, however, Wednesday knew a part of her was only being happy as a way to hide her struggles. Thing suggested to do the code word: two snaps, Wednesday pulls a heavy sigh. Not that she didn't want to do it, but she still struggled with the how. But Thing tells times where Enid truly smiles, to where Wednesday misses it and lets her guard down by smiling. Her recalling how ticklish she is was now Wednesday's reason to make her gf happy.
Wednesday: Fine, but tell a living soul about this and I'll restrict your manicure time with Enid.
Thing swore to Wednesday as she goes to class where Enid waves at her. She apologizes for the absence and says it's because she was doing her missing assignments for other classes. Wednesday couldn't believe that excuse, she was a Straight A student all around. The whole class was spent in a study hall, both were concentrating on their textbooks about anatomy. While Enid was lodged in her book Wednesday snuck in a few side pokes which made Enid jump. She looks around, thinking it's Yoko or Ajax but they're on the other side of the classroom. It happens again, two pokes that make her jump and drop her pencil and water bottle. She checks under the desk for Thing, no sight of them but just a pair of fingers painted black that was tickling her sides again. Enid covers herself in the book and whispers to Wednesday who pretends to not be bothered by Enid's dilemma.
Enid: Addams, are you the one tickling me?
Wednesday: Yes.
Enid: But why?
Wednesday: You don't want to know why.
Enid hated Wednesday's short answers but loved that she might potentially get tickled. Any feeling or thought of getting tickled can easily erase the bad day Enid has been feeling. She secretly cheers from inside her book before going back to her sad aura for the entire period. After more pokes, and Enid's improvement in holding in her laughs the long period was over. Enid was still focusing on her note-taking until everyone left the room, Wednesday did a surprise attack on her side and neck making Enid laugh and fall off her high stool chair. Wednesday was smirking over the book, she has a thing for Enid's high-pitched laugh.
Enid: HEHEHEHE why did you do that??
Wednesday: Your tickling laughter is much different than your normal laughter?
Enid: So you like my laugh?
Wednesday: Don't push it Sinclair.
Enid did think the constant teasing and the sudden attack were all Wednesday had to offer to cheer her up. She was feeling better at the thought of Wednesday being kind enough to tickle her. But soon the black cloud came back during Enid's sailboating class, all she wishes and craves is Wednesday to tickle her. It's been clogging up her mind so badly that Yoko got mad at how distracted she was. But luckily those thoughts made her not think about what she was originally sad about. She went back to her room, coming in she didn't see the sight Wednesday doing her typewriting activity. When she closed the door she was met with the surprise of Wednesday tackling her to her pink-infested bed, tickling her sides insanely. Wednesday didn't need to pin Enid down, the deep side tickles were ticklish enough for Enid to not endure. Wednesday worried for nothing if Enid was the sensitive type who would laugh at anything.
Enid: WENSWENSWENS PLSHAHHAHHAH
Wednesday: You were quite dumb for thinking this wasn't going to happen, I gave you hints all day.
All there was as a hint was Enid being poked a few times, she never expected Wednesday to pull a tickle monster attack. While Wednesday was tickling Enid's armpits and neck relentlessly she was starting to understand the liking of tickling. Besides Enid's big smile causing a pink shade on Wednesday's face she liked that tickling was technically a torture method. A torture method that doesn't cause any harm just laughs. She liked Enid's reactions and her squeaky laugh, also how she stands up whenever the pinching got close to her hips. Since no one was here she can smile freely at Enid's laugh. When Enid had enough for now Wednesday stopped momentarily. Enid was too tired to notice Wednesday was smiling at how tired she was from the tickling. Enid wasn't out of breath, but not too passed out to call it quits. However, the call out of Wednesday's sudden attitude made her punished with tickles.
Enid: You're smiling WAITHAHAHAHAHA
Wednesday: I told you I'll kill you if you noticed my smile.
Enid: SORRYSORRY
She went back to tickling Enid's tummy, this time adding her feet to the equation. Her body was curled up, which took the right opportunity to tickle her feet and eventually get her armpit at the same time. Enid was yelling thru her screaming laughs, wondering how Wednesday became good at this. Wednesday just said it's easy, which is particularly true since her demand got Enid to lift her arms to tickle every part of her armpit. The secret is, she learned from Thing as sometimes Enid shares her secrets with the hand who's a good listener. She did another break since Wednesday and is worried that Enid would soon lose her voice over the amount of laughing she's doing. But soon the tickling intrigues her when she rubs Enid's stomach and her foot moves. She forgets how Enid's wolf powers are still engraved into her human self, which Wednesday thought was pretty cute. Which she won't admit to Enid.
Wednesday: My puppy...
Enid: What did you say HAHAHAHAHA
Wednesday: Oh nothing...
Then Wednesday ruins the sweet moments by pinching and squeezing every part of her ticklish tummy. Wednesday was becoming terrible at keeping a straight face thru her enjoyment of tickling Enid. Any slight chance of her gf catching it makes her tickle her ribs to forget what she saw five seconds ago. The thighs were a deadly spot, Wednesday was happy over Enid's NONOs when she approaches her thighs. Her laughter over Wednesday pinching her thighs was top-notch. It was a dangerous combo for Wednesday to tickle her thighs, but also move to her toes. Enid officially gave up as her body was sore from the endless hour of laughter Wednesday gave to her.
Enid: STOP STOP HAHAHHAHAIM HAPPY NOWHAHHAH
Wednesday: I don't believe you.
Enid: THELAUGHINGSHOULDOFGAVEITAWSY
Wednesday stopped, and Enid gave Wednesday a long hug. It struck a strong emotion in Wednesday, a feeling of warmth that warms up her cold heart. They looked at each other, still, Enid laying on the bed setting her hands on Wednesday's soft cheeks. Enid didn't want this to be awkward until the other friend softly kissed her, causing a sweet but unexpected moment. Their eyes widen after, but they went back to kissing. Then Wednesday took this small opportunity to give a neck raspberry to Enid, which she laughed hard at. Wednesday started to smile at how red Enid's face was, it was the cutest thing she's ever laid eyes on. Now Enid was back to normal, her puppy smiles and big smile being on and her ready to annoy Wednesday with facts about K-pop idols.
Enid: I was thinking we- HAHAHAHAHAHA
Wednesday: Or maybe I should keep going.
Wednesday says massaging her sides and digging her thumbs for it which causes Enid to go crazy over it. She's crazy over a lot of things, mostly over how evil Wednesday can be with tickling. More evil than usual. After finally getting all those giggles out she hugged Wednesday, tighter than before since she loves tight hugs. Especially the ones where she doesn't have the range to move her arms. She hugs her for a straight five minutes before kissing her again. Then they continued their activities of doing hw and Wednesday spent her night playing the cello. They ate dinner with their friend group and they were surprised at how Enid bounced back from her happy self. She lied and said she watched some Seventeen videos when in reality her girlfriend was wrecking her. They looked at each other and smiled, holding hands from under the table. They whisper I love you in each other's ears.
Enid: Love you Wens.
Wednesday: You too my little bad wolf.
Enid was blushing so hard after that.

I saw the hp thingy you posted for Wenclair and now i wanna know your hc for the whole Nevermore kids :p
I'm so sorry this has been sitting for a few days, I'm stupid and it took me a HOT minute to realize hp is Harry Potter (at least I hope it is cause I'm answering it as such) Also, these are just my own opinions and of course everyone is entitled to their own thoughts! I believe that most of these characters fit into multiple houses! Also, I'll add if they would play Quidditch or not.
Wednesday: I think a good majority of the fandom would put her in Slytherin and I would agree! However, I do headcanon that she wants to be in Ravenclaw and well, the Sorting Hat had other plans. I also find it funny to think about Wednesday getting placed into Ravenclaw and just being a fucking menace. She was BANNED from Quidditch but with some...convincing she was placed back on the team BUT with the promise that she is NOT allowed to be a Beater, so she becomes the Seeker.
Enid: I almost wanted to place her in Gryffindor, but her whole scene with Wednesday and saying "that's what friends do" and how much she values friendship and togetherness just made me convinced for Hufflepuff. Also, all Hufflepuffs are secretly FERAL and I stand by that. And I also love Slytherin/Hufflepuff relationships. She played for like a year, but was off-put when she broke a nail. She would rather cheer her girlfriend on. Also super cute image to see Enid wearing a Slytherin jersey for Wednesday.
Bianca: I'm so torn between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, just like Wednesday. But at the end of the day, Bianca is also a Slytherin. I mean COME ON. My girl went and made her own life for herself and reached her goals, basically poisoned Yoko to win a cup, and has a million walls up so no one sees her vulnerable. Slytherin. I also like the idea that her and Wednesday go rounds trying to be the top student. Captain of the Slytherin team obviously. She is the best Keeper to ever live.
Eugene: the biggest Hufflepuff to exist. Like I don't need any explanation. I would say that he has avoided Quidditch because he thought he wouldn't be any good, then during his last year he tries it out and turns out, he's a decent Seeker!
Yoko: I need fucking CHARACTERISTICS, MY GIRL DESERVED MORE SCREEN TIME...anyway, for now I want her in Ravenclaw. She would be a witch in the au so no vampire, but I would like to think she's super fucking wise and almost like she's lived for centuries. It also be funny to see Yoko just naturally super smart and it irks Wednesday to no end cause "what do you mean you learned how to do open heart surgery over the weekend?!?" Nah, she ain't down for Quidditch. Just like Enid, she would rather cheer on her own girlfriend than play.
Ajax: Hufflepuff. It's shown in the show that he seems to be loyal to his friends and he just has a very happy-go-lucky vibe about him. I also adore a good platonic Enid/Ajax, so they be the absolute chaotic/idiotic bestie duo that has all of the Hufflepuffs STRESSED. He was also BANNED. Not because of anything violent, but his antics were just too much.
Divina: Again, MY GIRL NEEDS SCREEN TIME. The most we see from her is really just going along with Bianca and being gay with Yoko. That being said, I would like to have her in Gryffindor. Mostly because of Ravenclaw/Gryffindor dynamics. Love the idea of Yoko just trying to chill in the common rooms and her girlfriend is just bouncing off the walls cause "THIS IS SO BORING, I NEED TO FIGHT GOD." Gryffindor Captain. She's a bit of a utility player, mostly does Chaser and Beater.
Kent: My boy also needs more screen time. I want the twins together and I would have them give off Weasley Twin vibes, so Gryffindor as well. I believe that Divina is his impulse control, however where Divina will say she's bored and needs to fight God, Kent will do it without telling ANYONE. He's the reason Gryffindor loses house points consistently. Obviously, he plays. He's a Beater and when the Twins are both the Beaters, absolute chaos during that game.
Tyler: Azkaban. Death penalty. He would only be a monster that Enid beats the fuck out of.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐕: 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐘 | 𝟑𝟎-𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄
SUMMARY | Nightmares are normally not a problem for Wednesday, but the night that she wakes up from one that leaves her in a different kind of shock, she looks to Xavier for comfort.
Tumblr media
Onyx gems shot open as Wednesday gasped awake, sitting up from her bed. Her chest rose and fell in pants with her mind still running wild from the mental cage it had just been cornered into seconds ago. While struggling to get a hold of herself, she could feel cold sweat licking her neck, forcing a wave of subtle chills to overtake her shaking figure.
Everything haunted her without wasting a minute. Every word said, every move made, every feeling created…
She knew it was only a dream, but it felt more real than anything she had ever dreamt before. Usually, nightmares ranged from anything between pleasurable to uncomfortable, but this last one was off of her charts – it left her with nothing but fear and anxiety. It was something new that completely took her by surprise and tore up her leveled, collected stature. And she could not stand that.
Closing her eyes for a moment, she leveled her breathing out to coax her heartrate back down. Bringing her hand up, she pulled her long, raven hair to the side for the air conditioning to sweep her skin clear of its gloss of sweat. As she took another breath, she found herself extremely thankful that Enid had chosen to stay in Yoko’s room for a movie night. It would not have been a convenient scenario for the both of them, despite them being roommates and haven gone through almost everything in the book regarding late night problems and early morning mishaps.
A few minutes passed before she could finally attempt to lay back down. But giving a casual glance towards the door, she caught a shadow darkening the gap beneath before the barricade cracked. A widened gap was followed by a familiar face.
Xavier.
His hazel eyes locked into hers, and he quickly quizzed her with a quiet voice. “Hey. Are you okay?”
Addams just stared at him. “What are you doing up?”
“Well…,” he started and slipped into the dark room to talk more privately. “I had a dream, and I just wanted to check on you.” He shrugged his shoulders a little. “See if you were okay.” Through the shadows and distance, he could feel there was something off about her – a shaken, tense vibe that divided from her usual stiffness towards the world.
“I’m fine,” she brushed off.
But Thorpe disagreed. After getting to know on a deeper level, as his girlfriend, he knew her better than that. He had a way with figuring people out, and she led on more than she thought she did.
He jerked his jaw towards her. “Why aren’t you asleep? Or is sleeping sitting up a new thing I don’t know about you?”
Wednesday harnessed her emotions from slipping too much. “I just…had a bad dream, is all.” She then flipped her loose locks let them rest back into their natural falling upon her backside. “Don’t worry about it, it’s nothing.”
“I thought bad dreams didn’t disturb you.”
“I never said I was disturbed.”
“You don’t have to say it. You look it.” He let her give him a small huff in reply before pushing further. “I know you, Wednesday. I know when you’re bothered by something.”
He was on to her, and she was not quite sure how to go about it. She did not want to seem like a child who need someone to comfort them over something so… childish. But there was something in her that wanted him to stay.
That needed him to stay.
Luckily, the artist was not the type to go overboard with interrogation. “But I’m not going to badger you,” he assured, still holding on to his doubt. When she did not say anything, he turned to reach for the door while looking over his shoulder. “Good night.”
In a dilemma with her thoughts, the idea of laying back down, staring at her dark surroundings, and waiting to drift off into an even deeper nightmare that could tear her awake in more than just sweat and a racing heart made her nauseous... and not in a good way.
Only half processing what she was about to do, her spiraling brain forced her to swallow her pride. “Xavier?”
He looked back. “Yeah?”
“Would you stay with me?”
Her lack of hesitation was mirrored in her dark gaze, beckoning him not to waste a moment with replying. “Sure.” He paced over to her bedside and moved in time with her – she shifted over, signaling that he could lay with her which he willingly accepted the offer. Slipping his arm behind her, his hand came around over her shoulder as she eased her head onto his chest. This was another abnormal move for her to make, but he did not bother saying anything until they became settled.
“That bad, huh?”
“Stop.”
Xavier released an amused scoff and looked down at the raven, knowing she was between regret and relief. “So, how long will I be comforting you from a big, scary nightmare?” He combed back the stray strands of hair falling over her neck.
“Just until I fall asleep,” was her quiet response, biting back the desire to snap at him for his teasing.
A hum was followed by, “And what if I fall asleep before you do? What if Enid comes back in the morning and finds us?”
“She won’t.” Glancing at his chest, she studied the soft rise and fall of it through his t-shirt. “You’ll be gone by then.”
“Oh, really? You’re sure about that?”
Addams glared up at him, now fed up with his prying talk. “I framed you once, and I won't hesitate to do it again.” Those hazel eyes had such a unique way with boring into her dark, devious soul that she had to keep herself from letting him get to the completely “soft” side of her. “Don’t push it, Xavier.”
The other answered her with a smirk, entertained by her easy-to-toy-with temper. “I’m just asking. I know you wouldn’t be able to show your face around here, if anyone found out about us.” When she only put her head back down, his hand caught her shoulder in a gentle squeeze. “But it’s good to know that you have no problem in accusing me of assault for non-consensual, affectionate, physical contact, even if I am your boyfriend.”
“Exactly,” she mumbled. “Being in a relationship with me doesn’t help your case.”
“Right,” he nodded and added sarcastically. “Why would I ever expect anything else?”
As much as she did not want to admit it, Wednesday knew she made the right decision. Even though Thorpe’s challengingly teasing plucked at her nerves, it did pull her mind away from that hell of a dream her brain had been subjected to. She had grown used to his calm voice, subtle scent, and careful touch.
Those were not things she found in many people, let alone wanted to find in people. But Xavier was different, and while she would never admit it, he really was starting to get to her.
In the best way.
