I want to watch other versions of betty la fea, which ones are worth watching?

Hiii! Sorry for the super late reply! Tbh, the only other versions I've tried to watch have been the Mexican, the Spanish, and the modern American one. Personally, I wouldn't recommend any of them for he following reasons:

The Mexican (La Fea más Bella): the acting is very goofy and fake. Ig you're into cringe humour, and want to watch a version that is mainly a parody with very bad and exagerated acting and knowing it to be bad, maybe give it a try, but if you're expecting a novela that knows how to oscillate well between serious moments and comedic ones with serious actors that portray deep emotion, this one probably isn't for you. Some favorable points are that it extends the "dating" period when Armando and Betty are secretly together before her transformation, Patricia does change and ends up with Nicolás, and it defintedly had more budget. I didn't finish it because there were lots of incredibly annoying and cringe moments for me, inckuding but not limited to: Betty's attitude being more like a spoiled overgrown child than a woman with low self steem, the addition of Sofía's children to the cast (i hate children in novelas lol), weird situations like Betty getting a doubke identity and pretending to be like a diva or something after returning to ecomoda, etc.

The Spanish one (Yo Soy Bea): this one is better than the Mexican one, but it's also the farthest one away from the source material. I didn't finish it either so I'll just say what I got from it from what I watched. In this one, Betty's mom is dead. Armando and Maria Beatriz are lovers, and after her disappearance, he's a murder suspect. Just by that, you get an idea of how out there it is lol the acting is way less cringe than the Mexican one, and personally, I think this Betty captures the tendrtness and sweetness of the original one. Armando isn't as good, tho, but that's an issue that equally applies to all versions I've seen.

The new American one (Betty in New York): this one actually had Gaitan a litte involved. He passed before it was finished, tho. It is a dramatic and entertaining modern twist, but of course, it keeps itself in safe grounds considering the modern sensibilities. You won't find any yelling or hair pulling from Armando or don Hermes, and in general there's very little to compare them to the original. They're much sweeter and in touch with their emotions. And don Hermes is even portrayed as this sweet old man! The Ugly Cuartel is not called Ugly. Anyways, you get the idea. This one has a very very good budget. Although not very light and comedic, tbh. This one is much better for drama. However, this one is the closest one to the original.

Personally, the big changes in personalities, pasts, and especially the bad castings keep me away from all these versions.

These are the only one I've watched, and tbh, after these three tries, I've settled with just rewatching ysblf!😂😂

la logia secreta

yo soy parte de una logia, una logia secreta pero a la vista de todos. esta logia hace muchos años que está muerta y los sobrevivientes nos desparramamos donde pudimos. algunos estamos acá, otros están en twitter, otros en instagram, huyeron a sus diarios íntimos, algunos aún no se hallan y van de plataforma en plataforma quedándose cada vez más solos. dejamos de ser una célula unida.

a veces nos siento huérfanos o peor aún refugiados. nada calmó el vacío que dejó. esta logia solo se mantiene en estado vegetativo por nosotros, los que no la queremos dejar morir.

la era dorada de esta logia ocurrió desde mis 10 a mis 17 años. yo quedé cautiva a mis 14/15. fue pura casualidad, fue por un libro, escrito por la hijastra de una amiga de mi mamá. para mi, a mis quince años, ese era un libro novedoso, disruptor, mágico y para asombro mío describía a la perfección mi barrio de toda la vida, porque, supe después, era mi vecina y vivía a la vuelta de mi casa.

me acuerdo que la hice llamar a mi mamá a su amiga para confirmar la identidad de esa autora. nunca me voy a olvidar del mensaje en la contestadora de Bea diciendo "Sí, el libro de Lola se llama Buena Leche". la victoria de haber descubierto la identidad de la autora, bloguera fue el éxtasis.

no estoy del todo segura por qué lo supe, no recuerdo por qué reconocí que era Bea la madrastra, no tengo idea de cómo sabía que Bea tenía una hijastra tampoco y que podía ser esta chica. es más solo me acuerdo que Bea le dijo siempre Osvaldo a mi papá que se llama Aldo, ese poco nivel de profundidad y confianza tiene mi mamá con ella. solo me acuerdo que en un momento determinado leyendo las páginas reconocí el estacionamiento a la vuelta de mi casa y acto seguido, escuchaba el mensaje de Bea. siento que algo de toda esta historia como la recuerdo no computa, pero después me acuerdo que tengo visión remota cuando conecto con objetos y soy médium y ahora creo que fue eso. pero lo que sí me acuerdo es que enterarme fue todo un suceso interno.

al poco tiempo de ese libro, entré en el paco a.k.a. la logia secreta. ahí conocí a mi mejor amigo. yo tenía 15 el 20. el único que me sobrevivió de la logia. cada tanto, una vez cada 15 días tiramos un chiste comentario nostálgico sobre la logia. nos reímos, nos ponemos melanco, nos boludeamos, nos volvemos a reir. fue hermoso haberla vivido igual y me apena que ya no haya cosas así en internet.

Viernes otra vez con los síntomas

Bea me dice que piense que describa mis síntomas y las situaciones que lo generan la verdad es muy difícil porque no existen palabras para expresar todo lo que siento porque ellos se van juntando no es solo hoy vienen desde hace mucho tiempo cosas que me molestan y no puedo hacer nada al respecto porque estoy atrapada en esta casa si me voy pierdo y si me quedo pierdo de todas formas sufro

Recuendo que no era feliz cuando estaba sola solo queria a alguien que me quiera pero como todos los deseos son engañosos ahora que supuestamente lo tengo tampoco soy feliz

El apuro económico siempre esta soplandome la nuca, el querer progresar lo llevo en mis hombros y la organización de todo depende de mí, por eso me cuesta mucho los dias, pensando en como salir adelante un dia, que comer y como pagar las cuentas y siempre termina pagando mi mama que es lo que me hace sentir mas mal porque nose que tan porqueria puedo ser de generar siempre gastos y ninguna ganancia monetaria, ya no me da la cara para enfrentar tantas deudas y tan bajo que he caido con respecto a mi apariencia y mis animos, ayer cumpli años y me doi cuenta que sigo lo mismo que hace 5 años que cuando llegue, perdiendo el tiempo pensando en cualquier cosa menos que estudiar, y ahora ya con mi pareja la casa el trabajo es mucho

La esperanza es lo último que se pierde es la frase, mi pareja me prometió que no volvera a trabajar en la construcción es un primer paso para progresar no volver a lo malo, sino pensar en el futuro y en como ganar mas dinero sin que te exploten yo lo vivi años, ahora no quiero volver al pasado como sea no genero mas traumas delos que tengo y voy pregresando de a poco como dice la psicóloga no estoy igual que cuando tenia 18 ahora estoy en 3 muchas materias aprobadas asi que tratare de mirar lo bueno hoy
