yīng loved Sevika from a very young age.... ignore the cannibalism attempt ehe. i realise day by day that my normal painting style is less out of stylistic choice and more that airbrushes terrified me as a kid....

arcane oc Yīng hehe, in the closest thing i could do for the arcane art style. i'm pretty lucky in that my painting style is similar-ish, but it was still a challenge <33

i think the idea so far is she's a firelight with uh...history with Sevika ( ´∀｀ )b. her fluff was rather fun to draw, kind of like peony petals. ౨ৎ

an. wanted to make a vastaya that wasn't cat-girl or anthromorphic animal, a sort of inbetween maybe? don't ask me what tribe she's meant to be from however, i haven't thought that hard.....

quick 1hr sketch of jayvik, inspired by The kiss, 1897 by Edward Munch. (click for clarity ౨ৎ)

an. i'm going to yap about this piece ehe. (art student problems) i really love the original piece done by Munch. originally i was thinking of doing the latter made version by Klimt, but i really enjoyed the ambivalence of Munch's representation of the lovers in his painting, with their faces merging together, becoming one, intertwined if you will. its originally in a rather dark, morose palette, and gives an idea of pure unity and yet the loss of individuality, hinting at death. and yet it is certainly passionate.

and while this is story and symbolism dont apply to Viktor and Jayce in exact, i still found it compelling enough to want to give an ode to Munch in this painting. only i hope to show a more bright way of viewing it, in not that it is a loss of individuality and personage, but rather a peeled back complete understanding of one another, and i think that's very romantic. i really tried to keep to the less detail oriented style, which was hard, but i'm pretty happy with it ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و

also i know i promised to do a caivi painting, i was just very obsessed with this specific scenes in season 2, ep 9.....

In episode 7, one of the key differences in this happy universe was that Vi had died, and as a calayst, everything changed around her and in a sense, the what if everything was perfect, happened. So in a way, is it not simply poetic and right that for this universe to move on, Powder was to die too? To move forward like they said, you must sometimes leave the past behind. OH AND in a way so like.....Jinx and Vi will always be together. Powder and Vi, the real kids, the true self in a sense, are like....dead together. AND WE SAW THOSE HEXTECH things in Powder's drawer for Vi so....trust she's uhm.....listening to Vander's advice and she's actually going to come back to THIS universe and everything will be happy. And Jayce and Vi come back. And Ambessa comes back so she and Sevika can have sebian lex-
