NANOWRIMO DAY 16:
EN: "Writing is like a dance; the pen moves gracefully on the paper, following the rhythm of inspiration, the beating heart of the writer."

Darius Origin Part 8
He quickly wandered to the rail and put it on. Now equipped and confident, he boldly and proudly entered the night market. He looked around for the transformation scrolls. There weren’t that many sections, so it didn’t take him long, though he began to draw suspicious looks from the vendor, so he would have to hurry this up.
He rummaged through the bin trying to find it. After what felt like infinity, he found the one that he was looking for. It was  originally a transformation curse, that could be reworded to be  permanent and more controllable. He picked it up gingerly and brought it to the table. The vendor looked at it and his face went aghast. “Is this what the youth are up to these days?” he sputtered. Trying his best to be perceived as an adult he said “The youth? Why bring them up?”. The vendor gave him a “are you serious look?” At which point Darius decided to drop the act. “Its for a special experiment, So i can win and become a coven head.” he said proudly. The vendor didn’t react at all like he expected him too, instead just shook his head softly and rung it up. It was quite expensive and took a lot of his chore savings and most of his spending money.
The vendor also gave him a pouch, that he put the scroll and vial into. As darius turned to go, the vendor muttered something under his breath. “What was that?” he inquired. “It’s sad, what the youth have had to do, to get ahead, in this world. Try your best not to lose yourself young man, i’ve seen to many kids like you come here to gain an edge. I’m not proud of it, but sadly it does pay well. I just wish that-, he-. Someone should really say down with the-” he stopped as if realizing what he was about to say. “Nothing,'' He said quickly. It wasn't nothing and they both knew it. He had been about to say “down with the emperor”, Darius figured it would be better if he left. He quickly exited the shop and checked another item off his list. Now all that was left was the abomination eyes and the firebee honey and the fairy tooth. Lucky for him fairly loses a tooth quite regularly, so he should come across one soon enough. Furthermore, this type of night was when fairies lie to come out too, so double the score for him. He walked into a legit potion shop and he bought a small bottle of firebee honey.

Writing with your Passions
If you are looking through Twitter or other social media accounts, you will see many agents list certain books as part of their manuscript wish list or #MSWL. There’s even a site dedicated to this collection of things agents want to see. This is quite helpful as you are looking to submit your work. But there is a caution here: don’t write a story just because agents are looking for it.
Here’s the thing about the publishing world: the books that are submitted today won’t be published for usually two years if not more. And on top of that, it usually take about a year to write a book. So if you go on manuscript wish list today, select a topic and submit it in a year, there’s a good chance the agent whose list hole you were trying to fill was filled by someone else long ago.
This is the same with following trends and writing about those books. Say you read Twilight and thought--I can write something better than that. One year later, you have your paranormal vampire romance ready to go--but so do three thousand other writers. Now the market is saturated with a novel like yours, and no one wants it.
The problem with following trends is not just the saturation of the market, however. If you’re writing books solely for the purpose of appeasing an agent, your writing may be lacking the passion that it needs to turn heads. If the writer is not excited about the topic they are writing about, it WILL show in their writing.
So what do you do with your zombie apocalypse dystopian story that you wrote during your flurry of passion? Because this happens--you grow passionate about a project that is out of trend. Are you just stuck with this novel no one wants?
Don’t look for the nearest waste basket just yet! Hold onto it, because sometimes trends that were out of style come back in five years later. Keep writing, and keep filling the pages with your passion. As you write, your technique will improve. This is a marathon game, not a sprint. Those who don’t give up and hold on until the finish line are the ones who will make it in the end!

"Perfectly Flawed".🖤 You are flawed, actually everybody is!. But you hate them rather than loving them. You just wish some miracle to happen that changes your destiny but it is you, who need to accept your flaws and move on. Do you think even then destiny turns you upside down!?. ( I experience this a lot❤). . .Art by @ltg.art . .#inklingsoul #writesofinstagram #writersflare #rishipoet #flaw #inklingsoulwritings #fear #faith #motivation #motivationalquotes #motivational #instagram #writingcommunity #writingpassion #writings #writinginspiration #igdaily #poetsofinstagram #poetsofig #poetsofindia #poetry #shortpoems #art #artistsoninstagram #artist #passionforwriting #writersthoughts #realism #reality #igpoetsandwritersfeature (at Flawsome) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCFq0U6gi_u/?igshid=1je9bm57te13j

It's okay if nothing is making sense to you. It's okay if you feel like you need a break from everything. It's okay if you can't happen to enjoy the company of others. It's okay if you're caught up with your own problems. It's okay to try to be okay when you don't even feel like it. Because sometimes holding yourself captive due to what you feel can result in irreversible damage! . . . #captive #feelingsquotes #lettingin #inspiration #therapy #itsokaynottobeokay#strengthquotes #writingpassion #writinginspiration #rebouncing #instagramwriters #writerscommunity #writersfollowwriters #writersnetwork #writersconnection #writersink @_soulwrites__ https://www.instagram.com/p/CWwDb9JsS7B/?utm_medium=tumblr

Author Life Month Day 2: Me When I do panels at conferences or book events, I always feel weird because people usually say they’ve been writing since they were kids, or knew they always wanted to be a writer. This is not true for me. I came to writing very late. I actually wrote my first book as a challenge to myself the year before a big birthday. I just wanted to see if I could do it. Little did I know that I would fall in love with it and then keep writing and writing. You don’t always have to know what your path is right away in life. Sometimes you have to travel many roads before you discover your passion. I am a perfect example that you can chase your dreams beyond a certain age. You just have to want it and be willing to really work for it! #authorlifemonth #authorlifemonth2021 #yawriterlife #yawriter #yawriting #yawritersofig #storyteller #storytelling #writingpassion #chaseyourdreams #yabooklove #yabooknerd #writersnetwork #yalit #iwriteya #youngadultfiction #youngadultbooks #writinginspiration https://www.instagram.com/p/CNK14Q2LAVC/?igshid=y6u5n7n8cv21

New blog post. Website in bio. Read full article. Unwriting a book and the art of saying No! Sometimes you write a book and you feel accomplished. You feel that this book that you always wanted to write. You feel this is best work. Some other times, you finish a book and you decide that you don’t want the world to see it. The latter is what happened with me as I finished writing my third book Al Barzakh. Al Barzakh was a unique idea. Great set up and a super emotional story. The writing was very stylized and beautiful. As I was going to hit the publish button and release the book to multiple platforms across the world, I pulled the plug on the book and decided to unpublish it, I decided to unwrite it. I tried to ask myself what had happened, and I couldn’t find a very good reason for why I didn’t want the book to be out there in the world.  I learned later, that it was not because I felt I’m touching a sensitive topic about the afterlife. It was not because I was afraid of being exposed (as a writer that’s what I do. I tell stories, so that fear was not there). It was not for a technical reason or lack of story; I knew the story had a good structure and plot to it. I thought about it but I couldn’t find a real reason for the decision I had made except this: an intuition. #writingcommunity #writinglife #writingtips #amwriting #writingpassion #instatips #instaquotes #inspiration #failure #succees #yes #no #intuition https://www.instagram.com/p/B_c6WYRD94U/?igshid=1epu2h1otowxi
