My last night in my legendary apartment! WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!!!

#Dec 19. 2019 #Xmas #Enjoying my final stay in my legendary “Terrors of the Night” apartment. I've lived around since then but I miss this place...#It was perfect for me. Facing east so I would have natural light all day but no sunset glare in the evenings...#3rd and top floor so no one above me for smoke and no neighboring balcony for privacy...#You could walk out in the middle of the afternoon butt ass naked because I had lattice covering the balcony railing. It was dope...#I haven't felt truly at home since then even though I had technically been evicted for noise...#Didn't even get to throw a farewell party because I had gotten my notice earlier this day and was given 2 days to get my shit out...#I have realized apartments are just not for me anyway hahahah...#The memories here. One time I locked myself out on the balcony in the middle of the night and had to scale down 3 floors...#So then I learned how to pick locks and tried it again on purpose in order to free myself just for fun...#The time I crawled out of my (massive master bedroom) window and shimmied across the roof ledge back to my balcony as a dare...#Would have been a 3 story fall...#At this point I had already filmed “Sleepwalker” and “Training Night” but it was only this day I finally made my YouTube channel “Jason Vi”#Truth is this was a time that I was at a fork in the road and it was a bit depressing leaving this place. It had gotten me off the street..#That was then and this is now...#Subscribe. You are not ready...

#hi! im alive and back and etc.#six the musical #six the musical fanart #katherine howard #thinking of that post going 'i think eventually you become the person you needed most' and like maybe that's the thing with my art #this started out as a redraw and <improvement meme> i think i've finally reached the stage where i'm making the things that my younger self #aspired to create. like i can do this now! i've reached That level of technical skill! tiny me would be so proud. it's very gratifying #redraw from august this year actually. i've made a surprising amount of improvement HAHA maybe it was the adamandi stuff getting me #back into digital rendering. i think that obsession has quietly slipped away but yknow. one never truly leaves a fandom. just less intensit #also speaking of old fandoms! we're back with the six stuff haha. as of writing i'm in the midst of blog revamp- figuring out how to chill #multifandom status doesn't mean ditch all the old stuff ! but i do feel much freer and less stressed. i think hiatus has been good for me #notes on this piece particularly: redraw about cutting hair and thinking of the lyric above. also lowkey &j ref + pinterest poem excerpts #of female suffering. and maybe a dash of amanda heng let's walk inspo. this work is really just full of contradictions..#1. the mirror and cutting hair as an act of self liberation 2. the & is part of the lyric but also a nod to &j (in another iteration it was #pink but the white looked better) and like. &j is really all !!! girl power!!! etc. and i was like hmmmm. also matching pink shiny aes #3. the frame as a cage; the mirror as a self reflection idea (ie. saville's propped insp) but also as a sign of vanity. 4. sparkly costume #and pretty pose- read one too many poems about women feeling like they have to be pretty even in their suffering. something i wanted to #explore. and also in 5. the show itself... all you wanna do is. despite all the dancing and pink and sparkly the content of the song is #darker. and even though it's a story of her suffering it's still presented as a shiny fun pop song and ajshdhfhfh ok... 6. the lyrics fall #outside the frame. sort of a caught inbetween. sort of a trapped in the narrative and yet #within the frame it's all. vaguely handwavy breaking free vibes. like i said contradictions?#7. cutting off the long ponytail vs the pull my hair lyric at the end. yeah #8. the blocked off & looks a bit like scissors. positioned to cut right at the neck #anyways yeah irl remains hectic! but if i get around to more doodles they'll appear here :)

Summary – The Warden’s condition continues to worsen since last entry. All decline remains self-inflicted.

J.16.7.2-M – Sleep deprivation has resulted in mood swings and irritability. Though denied by the Warden, extreme distress, melancholy, and laughter have been noted. They lash out verbally and physically toward the prisoners (1) only to apologize at a later time. Observations (2) result in speculation that hallucinations are another symptom.

J.16.7.2-B – The Warden's obsession with notetaking remains steady, though most pages of planning are merely rewritten versions of earlier notes. Their nightly ritual has grown more rigorous: four cups of coffee ingested in the time between dinner and the kitchen’s closing. A fifth cup is brought back to the courtroom, where the Warden will once again sleep on the ground. (Refer to J.5.5.2.B for initial detail.)

J.16.7.2-P – Sleep deprivation and/or caffeine intake has caused shakiness and overall weakness. They show severe eyebags and have not changed into nightclothes in several days. Though they wash themself and fresh civilian clothes have been provided, they insist on returning to the uniform. Motor skills (3) and computation abilities have suffered.

J.16.7.2-S – The Warden spends their days around the prisoners, but avoids participating in all necessary conversations and activities regardless of invitation (4). They limit speech to the Caretaker only about their denied request (5), though they can be coaxed into conversation when fatigue overtakes them.

(1) After 005 offered the Warden something to help with their sleep, they threw the pills to the ground and shouldered past with force; 008 attempted to read the Warden’s notes, and they slapped her hand away.

Two exhausting days of what Bill could only describe as hell had left him on the brink of collapse. He had made little progress in dismantling the portal, a bottomless pit of hopelessness dragged him into back to the idea of blowing up everything. He had all the materials—just a bit of assembling followed by a quick and painless—

Knock knock

Bill froze, his thoughts spiraled. Ford! Is he back in another corpse? Did he make a new deal? Bills mind raised with panic before he was hit with a confused realization. Why is he knocking?

Cautiously, Bill approached the door, busted torch in one hand, metal pipe in the other. He strained to peered through the frosted glass, nearly dropping the pipe when he saw who it was—Tad.

Bill wanted to throw open the door and hug him, but fear held him back. What if Ford had possessed him? He couldn't risk it. Gingerly, he cracked open the door and tossed out the torch before slamming it shut. “Stand close to the glass,” he shouted, and “and shine the light in your eye!”

Tad stared at the door, then down at the torch in confusion. Slowly, he picked it up and did as told, leaning close to the glass. Through the frosted pane, he could see Bill’s blurry figure, shifting slowly as he inspected Tad. After muffled sound of approval, Bill fully opened the door.

Tad’s excitement shifted into horror as he registered Bill’s state. His face was gaunt, his eyes sunken, and his hair a long, tangled mess. He wore a black hoodie that did little to hide his frail body. Tad hesitated before walking in, eyeing the metal pipe Bill had clutched in his shaking hands.

“Bill? What happened?” Tad stammered out, rattled by Bills appearance, “Bill—” Tad was cut off, startled by Bill launching into a frantic summary of the past decade. His words tumbled out disjointedly, shifting from one thought to another. It was an unsorted mess of word vomit that left Tad reeling and his head spinning. But what had left Tad truely unnerved were Bill’s fearful glances to an empty space—glaring at some invisible monster.

Tad tried interjecting, attempting to get Bill to calm down, but Bill kept talking over him. When Bill mentioned how things were for the past week, being locked in a closet, barely eating or sleeping, Tad spoke over him.

"Woah, Bill—slow down. What do you mean you were locked in a closet?"

Bill opened his mouth to speak but faltered. Tad stepped closer, extending a gentle hand, “Bill?”

Bill ignored the outstretched hand, taking the torch from Tad and handing him the pipe, before turning to walk away. “It’ll be better if I show you.”

Tad wavered by the open door, staring down at the pipe in his hand, his thoughts a mix of worry and confusion. He took a breath, shrugging off his growing anxiety, before shutting the door, setting down the pipe, and following Bill.

Leading the way with the busted torch, Bill led Tad through the broken wall, past the busted closet door, and into the portal room. He showed Tad the portal, recounting his actions from the past three days with a nervous urgency. “This is why I wrote to you. Tad, I need you’re help to dismantle it.”

Tad stood in stunned silence, glancing between Bill and the portal before letting out a shaky breath “I—” his voice caught in his throat, his mouth felt dry. He coughed, then continued , “I think we should go upstairs and sleep. Just for now. I mean, if were gonna take this thing apart, we should be well-rested, right?”

Bill was taken aback, “What? No. Tad, This can’t wait. It needs to be dismantled now. Don’t you understand that?” He continued, trying to explain everything again but slowly trailed off, "Tad… you believe me. Right?“

Tad quickly nodded, “Yes. Yes, of course I believe you, Bill. I’m just—” He hesitated, “I’m worried. Bill, you… you look awful, it—its all just… alot.” He heaved a sigh and and placed his hand on Bill's shoulder, “Bill, please, lets go upstairs. God knows the both of us could use the sleep.” He let out rueful laugh.

Bill stared back blankly, briefly looking behind Tad before his expression twisted in frustration. He shrugged off Tad's hand and backed away. "I thought you’d understand. I thought I could trust you."

“I do understand, Bill. Honestly, I do.” Tad reached out again, “And you can trust me. I promise, you can—” Bill jerked away, a look of betrayal plastered on his face, his eyes darting between Tad and the empty space.

“Bill. Come on, I—”

"You think I'm crazy, don't you!" Bills barked, causing Tad to flinch back before he tried speaking again, “What, no! I don’t think that, Bill. I would never—”

“Go!” Bill barked, turning away, ”Just leave.” He whispering angrily through gritted teeth, trying to control himself.

“No, Bill I—I didn’t mean to—I don’t want to—” Tad reached out to grab Bill’s shoulder, gently pulling him back before—

Tad cried out in pain as he fell into a tangle of loose wires. He pressed his hand against his stinging face. A thick liquid trickling down his cheek and the smell of copper filled his nose. He pulled back his hand, reeling away at the sight of blood.

Tad jerked his head towards Bill who stared back in horror. He… he hit me. Tad looked to Bills hands, the busted torch held tightly in his grip. Bill hit me.

Bill approached, saying something Tad was too stunned to make out. He tried backing away but the wire kept him trapped. Bill stepped closer, reaching to grab Tad. Tad reared his legs back and kicked Bill away.

Bill stumbled back and fell onto the portal switch, crumpling to the ground. He looked up in a daze and was horrified to see the portal roaring to life. He scrambled to his feet but his legs gave out and he fell back to his knees. He tried standing again, but his body was caught and pulled by a new gravity.

Tad fought to free himself from the wire but his attention was pulled away by the sound of Bills screams. He looked up and saw Bill’s floating, his silhouette illuminated by the blue light of the portal.

"Help me! Tad! Please!" Bill kicked at the air, clawing desperatly towards Tad.

Tads movements became more frantic as he ripped away the wires, "Bill! I'm trying! Bill! I—"

Bill's body disappeared, engulfed by the spinning light. With a blast and flash of light, Tad was knocked back into the wire. He scrambled to free himself, “Bill! Oh god, Bill!” he raced towards the portal, searching for Bill. But he was gone.

WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME BURROWS END WASNT FREE

#I DIDNT TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT IT BUT STILL. SOMEONE SHOULDVE WARNED ME BEFORE I GOT COMPLETELY INVESTED #I know next to nothing abt dimension 20 I’m pretty sure I just saw a post abt burrows end specifically MONTHS ago and was like 👀👀👀#opened a tab with the first episode to watch later and promptly forgot about it #until last night! having a bad night and was like hrm what if I just watch smth #and I’ve been reading watership down recently!! finally got my own copy bc it was my favourite book when I was like NINE #so I am fully primed to fall in love with a story abt little animals rn and man #I am OBSESSED with this and also realising yeah I’m at a point where I could get very into tabletop rpgs now #what if. what if I just get dropout. what if I just do that. would that not be fun. I would like to see the stoats do stuff #i am so in love with Ava and her player and I understand so much more about brennan lee mulligan now. and VIOLA #viola may be my favourite character I’m obsessed with how she interacts with other characters.m #i NEED to know what’s up with thorn’s cult thing. and also thorn. what is going on there #hrrgrhehh the thing that’s holding me back is I’m allergic to subscriptions #impermanence. even though I know it’s fairly unlikely I’ll wanna watch it again any time soon I don’t like the idea that I’d have to like #in a couple years pay for it again or not be able to bc I can’t afford it even though I already paid for it once #I’m a books + cartridge games guy and it shows.#okay. the thing is i don’t see what belly sees in jeremiah like not even what characteristics he possesses to make her fall for him type of way but i literally do not see what is making her fall for him like i don’t see why she’s romantically interested in him every part of their relationship on her side seems like friendship to me or at the bare minimum she’s only interested in him bc he’s interested in her

#like esp after the first 3 episodes and everything that happened with conrad #i do not understand why she falls for him #her getting with literally any other man would have been more believable to me #hell her getting back together with cam cameron would have been more believable to me #like i feel like i missed when she genuinely started seeing him in a romantic light #bc again it was always kinda giving ‘im into him bc he’s into me’#im not even gonna lie jenny and the writers really set that ship up for failure #i really don’t think they stood any real chance #at least not in the show the book is a whole other story for me #the summer i turned pretty #anti jelly #i guess

english prof just left LOADS of feedback on my essay omg this is so exciting

#personal #the english chronicles #FINALLY!!!!!!!! someone who doesn’t just slap an a on it and call it a day #most of it is picking at me for passive voice use and my really shitty conclusion paragraph BAHAHA we were limited to 3 pages #and i was really struggling to cut it down bc. the prompt i chose involved 7 different concepts like give examples of these concepts in this #short story but i also had to Define and Explain the concepts and then there was also the intro and conclusion and header block and it’s #double spaced like 3 pages is rlly not enough for this prompt if you want to give a genuine critical analysis. so my conclusion was #extremely short and shallow lmfao but yeah. he also left lots of praise 😌 AND! he left audio recording for everyone?? like damn okay you are #a prof who genuinely wants to see his students improve thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏻 yes i only got a 90 which i think is the lowest ive #ever gotten on an essay but idc my respect for him just Shot up. also only four of us got A-range grades so i still feel p okay abt that #and i started the essay night of so all things considered this could have gone worse lol #also i got the top score on the exam last week so still riding that high (i needed the ego boost so bad guys 💀) but anyway. i think he’s #retiring after this semester tho this is so tragic he’s also just a rlly fun nice guy in class too like i would 100% take him again #but yeah. i will concede that i fall into passive voice a lot without realizing it so glad he said smth abt it i will be more mindful 🫡#also i guess i did a couple page citations incorrectly it has been a minute since i touched mla and i thought you could either segue into a #page citation like on so and so page they say this OR do parenthetical in-text citation at the end of a quote but he only wants the #parenthetical type ever. not sure if this is a flat rule of mla or just teacher preference i will b looking into this #edit okay looks like flat rule for mla. my bad 🙈 i only did the segue thing twice instead of the parenthetical citation thankfully

Hm ok what's your favorite or a really cool worlbuilding thing you've done? For any fandom or original or even an unimplemented idea

Hmm well at least in the past decade, my big worldbuilding projects have mostly come down to three-ish stories: Other Side of the Gun, Adventures of Gæilo and Ethon, and Just Desserts

OSG was an Invader ZiM fancomic concept I started around 2013 to justify every single Irken headcanon I ever came up with lol - I never finished it, or even really started it, but I put a lot of time and energy into its roughs back in the day :)

^A stick figure recap of Ch. 1, inspired by - what else - the Vargas stick figure recaps lol

One that you can see over here is all the work I did for my DnD campaign, AGE! (Though its sideblog hasn't been updated in a while haha - the AGE tag over here works just as well) I basically homebrewed a pantheon and had an absolute blast designing all the gods and their forms before they became gods and even things like architectural differences in their churches and the BBEG and his motivations and just ah <3 Such a fun project :D

It also laid the groundwork for things like Pokemon Homestyle, specifically all my papercrafts! You can really see how I leveled up haha

And my latest has been Just Desserts! Even with less time under its belt, it's still pretty expansive, as evidenced by my icon and theme and the backlog lol, and it's the one I have the most AUs of! (Though OSG does come close actually haha) There are still some thorny details I'm trying to iron out, especially to do with the magic system, but all the characters and creatures and the fact that I made my own fighting minigame, ah, pleased! I've never been so happy with a sona before Charm! ♥ From the very beginning it's been so fun to work on and I still want to improve!

#Long post #There have been others of course - things like BunBonBop and TMatM and quite a handful of original species lol #I was also involved in an IZRP that got very in depth which is where Bar comes from actually!#As well as my brief stint into being a TGWDLM askblog lol soz to everyone over there ouq #And little stories like Karera no Kotogara and Yanderapy but those mostly set in cartoon-reality y'know?#No magic or sci fi there haha #Man looking back through the OSG stuff kinda makes me wanna unstore Ch. 0 - I've grown a lot since then!#To the point where it almost doesn't feel ''mine'' anymore haha - it has been almost ten years! Maybe to celebrate its anniversary :)#Also yeah if you look hard enough I've been in love with and inspired by Vargas for as long as I've known about it haha #AGE was so much fun <3 I would like to get back to it someday but picking back up after so long is hard!#I still hold all of them fondly of course ♥ Mar especially since they were the tipping point for me loving spiders :D #It's hard to believe Just Desserts is already four years deep! It still feels so new to me haha #I know I big up Charm and her design a lot lol but for me it really is exactly what I want <3 It's my perfect :)#I still really want to get into 3D modeling to make her as I originally envisioned her!#If I had the funds I'd absolutely commission someone but tbh I don't know many names on that side of art haha #I've also heard about people who give advice/brainstorming sessions for magic systems and I've been intrigued ever since :0 #I'd love to sit down with someone and hash out Exactly how their magic works! It feels like it just needs a few more pushes!#Then again that's what I said about the TVAU outfits too haha ♪ Maybe it would all fall into place!#To the base question tho: I never know how to qualify ''implemented'' - does just putting it out there as a concept count?#Writing a story? Making a comic? A series? Polished? Completed?? FFS was one of those stories that was really special to write, and it was so...incredible and unexpected that it turned out that some other people needed this story too (for whatever reasons they did). I never thought I'd get to write a character like Efnisien, let alone spend like...9 novels' worth with him? #if i manage to sleep instead of reading venom fanfic for three hours lile it did two days ago #i have WORK tomorrow (afternoon and it's easy)#god i've been accumulating fandoms haven't i #.... i need to add bond q eddie and venom to the little room in my head where all the blorbos live #it's a long story but y'know the bedtime daydream to fall asleep to?#sometimes mine include this really specific scenario #where i provide a big room and lots of food #and put all my little guys (gender neutral) in there like it's a party #and i materialise everything they need (like ingredients to make potions or sparring mats)#it's fun because it's crack and low stakes and also i put my two main ocs in there #i should probably also add vtm meredith she would love to talk to canon herself #anyway yeah the room is CROWDED but it's fine i can make it bigger if i want <3 #they all have a room to sleepover after the little party btw. if you even care.#my favourite interaction is imagining all these fucked up people most of them good at fighting showing each other how they fight #like. tell me hornet would not fuck shit up with ahsoka's lightsabers. the different rules based on the different universes #and the normal ones watching from the sidelines worried about their safety #god i fucking love that daydream #it's an upgrade from when i was a kid and i imagined all the characters i liked sleeping in hammocks in my room #and one of the warrior cats cats would come in and plop down next to their buddies #and we would all go to sleep and all would be well #also i like putting meredith (& to a certain extent cécilia) in that room as a sort of social lubricant #like meredith is very social and by god she will make this weirdass party a good one. yes even for the guy brooding in the corner #meredith making some people realise that being aspec is a thing. meredith comparing potions with severus.#meredith pairing people up like 'oh yeah he's also a world class hacker. yeah the guy with literal red hair'#'oh there are other chosen ones in the corner. the two blondes yeah'#also. even more self indulgent than the rest but. bbc sherlock tries to deduce something and then some magical impossible bullshit #he could not have known about magic. his deduction sucked. he would be sooo mad #who would it be funnier for to piss him off about it?#ANYWAY. off to go daydream about it now. bye bye good night #wow i have a ramble tag now

Was trying to figure out what my favorite abnos are and made a tier list to figure it out and realized I like dream of a black swan Way more than I thought I did

#rat rambles #to be clear meh isn't bad just completely neutral eh is slightly bad #most of them are just petty grudges but I do legitimately find child of the galaxy a bit disappointing unfortunately #I really like some of the concepts behind it I just feel like the execution doesnt land #which also applies to several other abnos child of the galaxy just also happens to be built like a doll maker character #bestie has one of my least favorite designs in the entire game I just do not jive with the vibes #the others are mostly just me finding them boring or having gameplay related beef with them #knight of despair would probably be in better graces with me if she wasnt the weakest of a trio where the other two are sick as hell #like Im not the biggest queen of hatred enjoyer in the world but I do rly like her #and king of greed is both sick as hell conceptually and also was my first waw abno #oh and to be clear I am not an old lady voucher shes conceptually very boring but I like her anyways #shes delightful to me and also she has one of my favorite ego gifts #also yes I do in fact like nameless fetus it was my second he abno and also caused me many problems <3 #I also just like its logs and feel bad that it's whole gimmick got snatched by censored #I love censored but not cool bestie #little red used to be one of my top faves but as time has gone on Ive become more neutral towards her #I still like her shes just not top favorite anymore #censored would be much higher in my good graces if it weren't for that I have a lot of appreciation for censored #it was my first aleph afterall #but also I enjoy its execution story wise a lot more than I thought I would when first seeing it #generally ~incomprehensible~ horror tends to fall flat often to me as it often feels like the writer going 'just trust me bro it's scary'#but censored actually feels like it Is something y'know? like you're given just enough to make it feel like it is smth that exists and not #just a writer telling you youre supposed to be scared of what is ultimately functionally nothing because they wont yell you shit #also the gameplay of censored is generally quite good asside from the stolen roulette gimmick #but I like nameless fetus a lot and find it massively disappointing that what should have been its big thing was stolen by a bigger fish

The more I think about the story through Daeran's pov the more insane i go. btw.

#on so many levels #the whole courting Elluin itself is already bonkers as a choice #nevermind the actually falling for him thing despite him spiraling mentally the entire time after act 3 #(not beating the actually sweet allegations with that one I'm afraid king)#but what im mostly crazy about is like. you know the mask motif ellu has? how he's a lying liar who lies?#and like. Dae knows. Hells the Spark achievement happened when elluin tricked those cultists into killing eachother #he's seen him lie and deceive OTHERS time and time again #even if he is apprehensive- which honestly i can't tell if he is he's too good at not letting me understand his feelings -#he probably doesn't think too much of it until perhaps. it affects him?#aka the encounter with liotr .#that. i dont care about you (lie) quote that has been spinning in my head ever since #he's SO good at lying- acting- that even someone that close to him- someone that expects it- can be convinced of what he says #it's such a huge red flag if you think about it because well #when can you ever know if he's being truthful? You can't. He hardly knows how to be himself!#to then have threshold happen. Dae pov you've just proposed and he's said yes. All is well. to then see him walk toward that edge #and AREELU IS RIGHT THERE. THERE WAS NO NEED. this was something he did because he planned it #and you can only look back and realise how many things he did and said were cries for help in disguise.#wonder if it couldve been prevented if you noticed but it's far too late now #even if we take trickster multiverse into account and find a version of the story where ellu could've been talked down #what happens afterward? i imagine it'd be different if he was talked out of it early vs while On That Edge #just. what a fucking situation to find oneself in. what a person to choose to court. Daeran i need to pick at your brain #even if everything HAD worked out perfectly fine Ellu's .. not exactly the kind of person that would fit well in any royal setting.#which may be part of his appeal to Pissing Off The Rest Of The Royalty- The Character- but still. long term how would they make it work?#im frothing at the mouth if only i could write canon characters AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
