What’s the best movie and the worst one?
best movie; 2001 a space odyssey.
worstmovie: the thing is I like watching bad movies a lot and I think they're charming and fun. the worst Sin a movie can have is to be uninteresting. maybe this is controversial but as a trek fan the jj Abram star trek movie from 2009 was just. not compelling at all to me. I watched it before being a trekkie and was like 🧍♂️ ok and watched it after becoming a trekkie and was like 🧍♂️ok. maybe bc drunk but I literally can't remember fuckig anything from it. ik it has fans but! it did nothing for me. maybe liken I'm not a big movie guy I don't watch a lot of movies and when I do it's a whole Thing but............idk. 2009 star trek movie made 0 impression on me and I feel like that's kinda damning

Every movie of 2020 (I've seen) ranked Best to Worst to this date.
1. The Father- Heartbreaking as it is complex. A very well done story on how dealing with dementia is like on both sides.
2. Minari- I love most of this film. It was very heartwarming and somewhat complex. I just wasn't a big fan of the ending.
3. I'm Thinking of Ending Things- Complex and weird but never boring and very interesting. Everything you expected from a Charlie Kauffman film
4. A Promising Young Woman- Feels like your average revenge feminist flick but turns into a wild fun ride.
5. The Devil All the Time- Dark and gritty with a lot of interesting characters and stories.
6. The Invisible Man- As a invisible man remake it's not great. But it's a very solid film about abuse.
7. Soul- This could've been one of Pixar great if it didn't go the silly route in the 2nd half but it was still good.
8. Onward- A good brotherly love story but the jokes weren’t great.
9. The Trial of Chicago 7- The performances are top notch besides Eddie. But the writing is a bit meh.
10. Run- Very similar to other films on this topic but the performances makes it good.
11. Borat Subsequent Moviefilm- Not as good as the first but still funny and entertaining. Will probably be dated in a few years.
12. The Half of it- Such a charming film about love and friendship.
13. Superman: Red Son- Maybe if I read the comic I would have liked this less but I thought it was a very interesting what if story.
14. Superman: Man of Tommorrow- Solid Superman Story but the animation could've been better.
15. Justice League Dark: Apokolips War- It's the endgame of DC animated films. It's fine for what it is.
16. Da 5 Bloods- Could've been better if they focus on the war more instead of a treasure hunt.
17. Nomadland- I wanted to love this more then I did. But I just didn't care about any of the characters.
18. King Of Staten Island- Good performances but way too long like most Judd Apatow films.
19. New Mutants- CW verison of Doom Patrol.
20. The Croods: A New Age- Solid and better animation than the first but had no heart like the first one.
21. Wonder Woman 1984- It's pretty dumb main storyline but the visuals and Cheetah were pretty good.
22. Mulan- It was one of the most beautiful films I seen but the characters and story was bland as bland can be.
23. American Pickle- Kind of a heartwarming movie but goes a weird alt right route.
24. The Stand: How One Gesture Shook the World- A solid doc that could've been better with a better budget.
25. Tenet- Everything you hate about Nolan films in this movie. Only a few stuff that you love about them is in it.
26. Birds of Prey- Not a fan of this Harley and some of the characters are poorly written but it still have good action scenes.
27. Hillbilly Elegy- Would've been fine if the main character wasn't such a bore.
28. Sonic- A very basic 90's movie that was almost saved by Jim Carrey over the top performance.
29. Scoob!- As a Hanna Barbera film it's good but as a Scooby Doo film it is not.
30. The Hunt- Tried too hard to be some anti woke funny film. It was kind of cringey.
31. You Should Have Left- Thinks it's some complex movie but really a basic boring horror movie that wasn't scary.
32. Fantasy Island- A neat idea ruined by annoying characters and dumb plot twists.
33. The Spongebob Movie: Sponge On The Run- A big stupid not funny commercial for Kamp Koral

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever (2002)
Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever is not only bad, it’s the worst. It’s so boring it's torture. You can’t even have a good time watching this picture and making fun of it. You'll be too busy trying to untangle the nonsensical plot to have any kind of fun. The twists are so obvious that when characters don’t acknowledge each other or act surprised when information is revealed to them you'll assume you missed something, or that you're confusing an actor for another. I can hardly believe it… and it happened to me!
The plot hardly makes any sense but here goes: Michael (Aidan Drummond), the son of the CIA's director (Gregg henry as Robert) is kidnapped by former DIA agent Sever (Lucy Liu). Former FBI agent Jeremiah Ecks (Antonio Banderas) is tasked with taking her out - she won't see his non-DIA tactics coming. Things get more complicated when Ecks realizes Robert has stolen a dangerous nanobot assassin from Russia and probably wants to use it for evil.
This film's title is a misnomer. Ecks and Sever are supposed to figure out that they’re on the same side so they can team up against Robert. Why the name? who knows. If it’s supposed to be a shocking reveal, director Kaos (really making a name for himself with this one) and writers Alan B. McElroy and Peter M. Lenkov have made a twist that's just a straight line. It’s so obvious from the beginning that Robert is evil that no human being wouldn't see it coming.
The plot ludicrous developments are abundant. Ecks and Robert were romantic rivals once upon a time. Ecks was married to Vinn (Talisa Soto). Robert wanted her too. When the movie begins, Vinn is married to Robert. How? Apparently, Robert tricked them both into thinking the other was dead so Vinn could get his slimy paws on the later. Who wrote this? A random plot generator? And that’s not even a major plot point or anything. It’s a detail meant to enrich this world. Can you imagine what cinematic madness goes once the espionage and guns actually kick in?
To match the jumbled plot we have some of the worst acting from professionals I've ever seen. If I didn’t know any better, I would've sworn they used a Lucy Liu mannequin on set and that her dialogue was recorded from a studio months later during an apocalyptic hangover. It’s as if she’s embarrassed and channeling all her energy in the hopes she'll turn invisible. In any other movie, Banderas would look like the worst actor of all time, but in here he actually looks kind of good because everyone around him sucks so much.
I knew what I was getting into. Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever is considered “one of the worst movies ever made”. I imagined this would make it a fun watch with friends. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Every mind-numbing explosion, every pointlessly shot bullet, and brain-melting nonsensical development inflated our boredom. I don’t understand it. It’s as if we saw a cursed film; one that drains the life force of everyone in and around it.
Take this movie, and blast it to smithereens with a gun. Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever is 91 agonizing minutes of anti-fun. You might not believe it's as bad as they say. Believe me, it’s worse! I don't need to see every movie in the world to know this must be the worst theatrically-released action flick ever made. (On DVD, March 27, 2015)

Curse of the Zodiac (2007)
I would rather cure a constipated elephant with my bare hands - without gloves - than watch Curse of the Zodiac again. Think I’m being hyperbolic? Everyone understands what an elephant is. Everyone knows how unpleasant of an experience it would be to reach inside its butt and fiddle around until the feces run freely. No one can truly understand what an overbearing, depressing, blood-boiling and draining experience watching this movie is. When the credits on this abomination finished rolling, I desired nothing more than to track down the director, the people who green-lit this project and the studio executives who thought it was good enough to release so I could strangle them with their own intestines. This is the worst movie I've ever seen.
You’re wondering what this movie from hack director Ulli Lommel is about. You’re out of luck because there's no plot. Things happen during the 81-minute running time, but that doesn't mean there's a story. We have three characters. The first is the titular Zodiac killer (Jack Quinn). He kills women and narrates the movie. If there’s anything resembling a protagonist, it’s a 20-something woman who has visions of the “Z-Man” as he stalks and murders women. These two randomly interact with a reporter, who does little but answer the phone and look disturbed as Zodiac taunts him.
There isn’t a single thing that is good, or even decent about Curse of the Zodiac. NOTHING. The acting redefines the word atrocious. Characters flub their lines, miss cues, and are never convincing even when lying dead. It appears as though there were no second takes, ever. If you can read this sentence and say it out loud, you could've been cast in this film. The dialogue is some of the most dreadful ever committed to the page. We get such linguistic vomit as “Don’t look at the gun I show in your ass” and “Playing piano is like life. You make mistakes in life.” If this weren't bad enough, there is an extreme overabundance and over-reliance on foul language. Goodfellas is notorious for having about 300 uses of “fuck” and its derivatives. It lasts 146 minutes so we have about two a minute. I counted the uses of any 3, 4 and 11-letter swears, along with everything in between and I got a whopping 147, including 45 instances of “fat fuck” (the nickname Zodiac gives to the reporter). Goodfellas still wins but this movie gets pretty close. It’s an astonishingly lazily written script, delivered by a bunch of robots masquerading as human actors and there’s not even a story to keep you entertained.
Not only is this movie less frightening or unsettling than the worst episode of Goosebumps you’ve ever seen, but it’s also boring. There's nothing to look forward to except the end of the end credits or your death, whichever comes first. I can’t even fathom someone making a movie this painful unintentionally. It uses stock screams when women are being murdered, has bad grammar in the screens of text, has sequences where the sound cuts in and out and gore that looks about as convincing as strawberry jam drizzled onto a CPR torso. Don’t even get me started on the editing and “special effects”. The camera shakes uncontrollably and images are constantly being mirrored, flipped upside down, tinted or otherwise modified through filters. It’s as if editor Bertrand Paré (which I assume is either a pseudonym of Lommel's or someone determined to destroy his career) decided to use every single editing tool in the free software they had.
This movie isn’t only infuriating, it's disheartening. The only reason Curse of the Zodiac is available to watch is because Lommel has connections with Lionsgate. Someone saw this and thought “It’s about as appealing as a bucket of crawling centipedes, but we’ll make money off of it if we give it a semi-decent DVD cover”. This knowledge is enough to make me want to go on an ax-wielding rampage. If you’re associated with the production and release, watch your back, I’m coming for you. (On DVD, January 28, 2015)

So yeah, you may have noticed by the influx of moments that I'm doing a thing where I talk about all the movies I saw at the cinema, I'm gonna try to make this an annual thing so buckle up for Cinema 2K19 when that eventually happens (unless Instagram itself gains sentience and blasts off into the cosmos, leaving us lost without a way to bombard people with overly filtered selfies with a 'deep' inspirational quote and about eighty-five trillion hashtags) #cinema2018 #cinema2019 #cinema #movies #bestmovies #worstmovies #lightscameraaction #disney #20thcenturyfox #universalpictures #paramountpictures #lionsgate #sonypicturesanimation #marvel #dc (at Hollywood Boulevard) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3440KwAZ9f/?igshid=ald5s8rcsj19

The Emoji Movie
I’m sure you’ve heard of the “Emoji Movie.” This movie was rated 7% on rotten tomatoes which is outstandingly low! It was released pretty recently, in 2017. The movie had an absurd amount of hype placed on it by advertisements on social media. The build up to the release was huge. It’s clear to say they got our hopes up for sure. The film is basically about the life of emojis inside of an iphone. It begins when the main character, Gene, has an issue. All emojis are only supposed to have one facial expression but Gene can’t control his face. He wants to fix it. He ventures off with his other misfit emoji friends and along the way they face dangers which could threaten the ability for the iphone to continue working. The plot itself needs a lot of work and there’s unarguably an overload of unfunny pop culture references. Overall the movie was beyond disappointing and awful. Steer clear of it my friends.

1. Isle of Dogs-Great animation, great characters and a great story. Just great great great.
2. Eighth Grade-One of the realest coming of age movies I have ever seen. I hated watching it cause it reminded me of my childhood which makes it great.
3. Hereditary-This isn't all the way horror but it's great when it's not horror and when it is
. 4. Roma-Great camera work. Some people say not much story but I felt for the characters more then most movies.
5. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse-Great animation and the villians and spiders were all very fun.
6. Burning-A unpredictable thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat till the very end.
7. Won't You Be My Neighbor- Great tribute film for Mr. Rogers.
8. Avengers: Infinity War- The first half was kinda blah but the 2nd half was exciting and fun.
9. First Man- I wasn't feeling this movie all that much at the start but that ending man. Wow.
10. A Star is Born- Good acting and good story but felt a bit rushed at the start then slow around the end.
11. Sorry To Bother You- One of the weirdest movies I've seen but entertaining and a bit sad when you think about it.
12. Searching-I was expecting more emotion especially because of the that opening scene but it was still a fun mystery movie.
13. Annihilation- Yes the bear scene was great but the rest of the movie was good as well!
14. Suspiria- Just weird. I mean I loved some of it and also kinda was bored through some but still a good movie.
15. The Favourite- I was so ready to love this movie and while I still think it's good I was kinda disappointed in it.
16. Blackkklansman- Fun little detective movie. Nothing special but still fun.
17. Incredibles 2- I like this better than the first one and I didn't really care for the first one. This one had funner scenes and animation was much better.
18. Black Panther- The action scenes was fun and the characters were good but some of the choices they made in this movie was questionable.
19. Widows- Expected better considering who directed it and wrote it but it's still a fun action movie with some nice twists and turns.
20. Deadpool 2- All the characters were fun and entertaining except Deadpool. I found him kinda annoying.
21. Love, Simon- Nice movie that may help people come out which is a good thing.
22. The Tale- This was difficult movie to watch but important and I'm glad I watched it.
23. The Little Stranger- It's slow but interesting and haunting. I enjoyed it.
24. Boy Erased- Good acting but the editing was kinda weird.
25. Crazy Rich Asians- Just a feel good fun movie. You really root for the main character.
26. If Beale Street Could Talk- The main actress acting was pretty bad but besides that this movie was beautiful.
27. Mid90s- I mean this movie is the 90's but nothing else was special about it.
28. A Quiet Place- Can we stop pretending like this movie is some masterpiece? It's a fun horror movie that's all.
29. Can You Ever Forgive Me-Richard Grant was so good in this. So glad he got nominated.
30. Upgrade- The better venom movie but still isn't great.
31. Bohemian Rhapsody-The last scene makes up for the problems with the movie.
32. Green Book-This movie is cliche and so oscar baitey but the performances were great.
33. WildLife- Kinda boring but it's still pretty good. Parents need to get their crap together.
34. Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay- The best suicide Squad movie even though the storyline is pretty silly.
35. Aquaman- This movie was really fun! But it just kept going and going and going and goinggggggggggg
36. Andre The Giant- I liked it but I wish they would be truthful especially Hogan.
37. Robin Williams: Come Inside my Mind- Nice doc of Robin but nothing special.
38. Batman: Gotham by Gaslight- An interesting take for the Batman story that I kinda enjoyed.
39. Tag- I like this better than game night cause it was more fun and felt more real. Still not perfect thoug.
40. Game Night- It was good but not as funny as people say.
41. Paterno- Good acting by pachino and glad this story was told in movie form.
42. Christopher Robin-This movie was fine but expected more of a drama but it's more like a comedy except some parts.
43. The Death of Superman- Basically one big fight scene that was fun to watch.
44. Vice- Christian Bale acted his butt off but that's probably the only good thing about this film.
45. Ready Player One- It's a fun little movie with a god awful villian.
46. Mandy- It's pretty to look at but not much substance besides that.
47. Ant-Man and The Wasp- It's fine nothing special. Some fun gags and a neat villian.
48. Sicario: Day of the Soldado- The 2nd half of this film is a mess but still good acting and action scenes.
49. Beautiful Boy- This movie should have been way better than it was. It had good acting but the editing and directing was not so good.
50. Halloween- So many dumb moments in this movie. There were some great moments but I really hated the dumb moments.
51. Ralph Breaks the Internet- The first Wreck It Ralph had heart but this one was just a mess. It's like they only cared about making dumb jokes and memes and Gal Gadot was terrible in this.
52. Bipolar Rock 'N Roller- An okay doc but kinda forgettable. I'm glad they made it I just wish it was more interesting.
53. Blockers- It was kinda funny but just a forgettable comedy.
54. Batman Ninja-I didn't realize how dumb this movie was going to be. Still good animation though.
55. Pacific Rim: Uprising- If you liked the first one well this one takes a big crap on it but it does have some fun scenes.
56. To All The Boys I've Loved Before- Just a generic teen rom com. Nothing special what so ever.

59. The House that Jack Built- This movie is not as smart as it think it is.
60. Rampage- I just wanted a dumb monster movie instead they try too hard to make a story. It's not terrible but not good.
61. The Strangers: Prey at Night- That one scene at the pool was soooooo good but everything else was pretty bad.
62. The Nun- How can you make such a scary character so boring and forgettable.
