DC had three Superhero shows in three consecutive decades: Superman in the 50s, Batman in the 60s and Wonder Woman in the 70s. I've only seen the 60s Batman show (so far), but I kind of want to see a crossover comic between all three of these shows. I can only imagine it'd be really cool to witness something like that. Because they're all somewhat different shows, but they all bring something to the table. And you know...if the crossover comic somehow also managed to work in a reference to the 70s Hulk show, that'd be pretty cool too. Because I've heard good things about that show too. So you know... I think these classic superhero shows of the 50s-70s may legitimately be better than some of the live action stuff now. But that's just me.

My current reading list. I really wanted to try a bit of everything. Especially since my last two collected editions I've picked up were really long. So now I'm doing several shorter ones. Which of these would you give a read?

My honest opinion on Wonder Woman '77 (please don't hate me for this): it feels very dull. It's missing all the fun humour of Batman '66. Without that humour, the whole thing begins to fall flat. The best part of the show is the action scenes, and the first two episodes don't have nearly enough action. It's mostly military intrigue, which is incredibly dull. There's no fun car chases, special guest villians, no nothing. It's just...kind of dull. The best part? Definitely the theme song. I do love the theme song. Props to the composer: having that very upbeat theme song helps make the fight scenes really nice. It's just...these espionage scenes are way too serious for my liking. So it just makes me appreciate batman '66 more, in a way.
