Dress Codes Explained

I feel like I’ve created enough templates for your mind development, routines, habits, etc. I’m getting bored with putting out the same content in a different manner so now I’m going to start switching up my content. I’m going to focus more on how one can carry themselves, socialise, etc etc.

My first article under this segment “Cultural Education” here will be about dress codes. You will find this segment on my pinned post.

Culturally, dress codes differ from one another. The western world is generally more tolerant towards showing of skin, for instance; but if you were to attend formal events in Asia and the Middle East, I’d highly, highly recommend you opt for a more modest look.

This is a very brief breakdown on what a woman can wear and when.

1. Casual

Meaning: low-key, but not like you just woke up.

* Sundress

* Long/ midi skirt

* Tailored pants or nice jeans (not ripped, distressed, acid wash- plain and simple)

* Tailored shorts

* Plain T-shirt (no graphics), polo t-shirt, turtleneck

* Button-down shirt

2. Dressy

Meaning: no jeans, generally use of lighter colours

* Skirt (not bum short)

* Tailored trousers

* Dress

* Co ord sets

* Jumpsuits

* Sundresses

3. Semi formal

Meaning: dressier than your corporate office job, but more casual than a formal gown.

* LBD (but not too little)

* Maxi skirt

* Cocktail dress

4. Business

Meaning: what a typical office senior person would wear.

* Suit

* Dress (modest; at least knee length; not too short)

* Dress with a jacket

* Blazer and a skirt

* Stockings (optional in summer)

* 3-4 inch heels / loafers / flats

5. Business casual

Meaning: what one would typically wear everyday to a corporate job that does NOT abide by Gen Z clothing (meaning slightly more conservative)

* Skirt, khakis, or pants

* Open-collar shirt, knit shirt or sweater (no spaghetti straps or décolleté)

* Dress (again, modest)

6. Black tie

Meaning: formal evening events, generally after 6 pm.

* Formal (floor length) evening gown (avoid slits, too tight dresses)

* Dressy cocktail dress

IT'S JUST SO...!! savior's wardrobe scrubbed clean of her original culture and preferences #replaced with the foreign garments of her captor's nations.....in line with this. i love how her kokoshnik and khaenri'ahn earrings are big #and attention-grabbing. you can't look at her without taking note of those accessories. it begs the question:: how many times has savior #looked at the mirror after being dressed up in snezhnaya and was unable to recognize her own reflection?? :'>#also shoutout to some details aine shared with me: 1) the face marks are inspired by weeping angels 2) the kokoshnik was traditionally worn #by married noblewomen BUT the veil was normally for unmarried women so savior's outfit can be seen as a form of compliance + rebellion #(though later on in history it became accepted for married women to also wear that veil. also my apologies if what i said is inaccurate)#lastly shoutout to savior's expression!! very poised and mysterious....due to her emotional state or pierro's rules on how to act as his #spouse in public?? we'll never know~ the first drawing hits even harder when you compare it to the next one!! such an interesting contrast~#savior in her plain attire. casual and domestic with a smile on her face....i'm guessing this is her pre-fatui version?? she looks so warm #and friendly. and i can definitely understand why pierro fell for her smile <3 #also i fucking love the caption. sorry pierro but you are cursed to be a loser/ simp/ pathetic man in all of my fics and AUs xD #NOW ONTO GODDESS! thinking about how now after it became socially acceptable and enough time passed most woman on the street now wears pants and not skirts/dresses most of the time. even though i'm sure a lot of men think women look better in skirts/dresses and it was supposedly natural for them for women to wear those clothes. but it's so much more functional and comfortable to wear pants for so many activities.

thinking about how long it'll take until it's the same with makeup and most women you meet aren't wearing it most of the time. because i wear makeup regularly so i know that it's so much more functional and comfortable and time saving to go without makeup for so many activities. do you get what i'm saying. whether i'm wearing pants or a skirt people more or less treat me the same. when i'm wearing makeup people ARE nicer. people will ask what's wrong on the days that i'm not wearing any. even if you WANT to wear makeup for yourself the same way you'd decide to put on a skirt that day for yourself,, it's not the same. bc it's Expected for women's faces to look Like That (made up).

Galalith is a specific type of plastic often used in fashion and accessories (think buttons, beads, combs, etc).
