His silences are beautiful, you know? They are colorful, full of fresh breeze, and dew that plays on the petals of the roses. Most people don't understand them, but I like to decipher them. When loving, silence is where he likes to hide the verses of his heart.

Can you tune in to my silence? I’m tired of explaining with words.

I am not actually tired, but numb and heavy and can’t find the right words.

💬 and ooh yes ✒️ for time traveler OCs please? :)
For the quote, I'll share a line from "Without Words", my "Six Swans" retelling. That entire piece is almost nothing but wordsmithing, so I like a lot of lines, but one of my favorites is the one that serves as the turning point as Eliza faces and escapes death.
Even now, I am silent. But my silence fills with the sound of beating wings.
My time traveler OCs come from an organization made up of people from across history who have fallen outside of time during disasters. They're unable to return to within several decades of the time they came from, so several of them have joined up with this organization. Some of them rescue people who have fallen outside of time, teach them the rules of navigating their new time-traveling state, and help them to get settled in new time periods, and some stop people who want to use their time-traveling abilities for criminal purposes.
Two people on the crime-stopping side of things are a man and woman from two very different time periods.
The woman (I'm calling her Mavis) fell outside of time when she was caught in an explosion during the London Blitz. She was close to several sisters and misses them terribly.
When she fell outside of time, she was found by a man who'd been working for this organization for a long time. They fell into an adventure together and worked together so well that she kind of fell into the role of working as his partner in this organization.
Her partner's so knowledgeable about technology and time travel that Mavis assumes for a long time that he came from some far-future time period. She's shocked when she eventually learns that he actually came from some time just after the fall of the Roman Empire. He keeps this quiet because there's some temporal prejudice within the organization--a lot of people from more "advanced" time periods look down on those who come from more "primitive" time periods, and coming from the early "Dark Ages" is just about as bad as it gets. So even though he's one of the most intelligent minds within the organization, with a knack for picking up new concepts quickly, he's constantly underestimated and overlooked because of his origins.

I have an idea for something people might like to read (I definitely probably would).
I got super hyped about writing it but this time around, I decided to outline and create character profiles and stuff first, instead of just jumping into the story blindly.
It was good going at first. But then, I kinda stopped feeling as great about what I was doing.
I hate this feeling and I hate that I might be about to give up on this idea too. It's just that it feels like it's too much work and my imagination doesn't work as well as it used to before.
Everything sucks. I just wanna write something and not give up on it, at least once. Is that too much to want?
I want to feel creative and inspired and not sucky. Also exam season pressure is the reason I wanted to write again (to release a bit of stress and to waste some time) and it is also why I have to stop.
