a little update.. what i'm working on/prologue changes so far:

no prologue! it’s chapter 1 now

removed the option to leave clementine behind. you have to take them with you :3c

removed height options (sorry!)

in general, edited the cc to flow better

combat preferences have been adjusted-- all still the same but i've made it more obvious how each specialty works mechanically which will hopefully make fights more intuitive to win (or lose, if you want)

genderlocked the sibling. officially a Sister

edited a LOT of dialogue; hopefully it's an improvement and feels more natural

restructured the wraith fight so that it's consistent with the fight in blackwater. with the changes made to the combat preferences this should make the combat system overall cohesive now <- i'm still working on this currently but i am HOPING to finish it by the end of this month.

i have pretty much rewritten the entire prologue. wasn't my plan at the start but here we are... so things are quite different. but also the same. i also streamlined a lot of the choices & branches and cut/combined ones that i felt were just excessive.

i plan to update once i've finished making & importing these changes, and i will probably limit the demo to chapter 1 (previously the prologue) until i get through and edit chapter 2 (previously chapter 1) because i really don't want to have the demo be inconsistent for however long it takes me to get through the next edits. hopefully this will not take that long, and then i'll put chapter 2 & and part 1/what's already been published of chapter 3 back up. and then!!! i will move on to finishing chapter 3.

i know this probably isn't the update you all were hoping for but i'm excited for the next steps with tnp :-)

not pitting sincaraz against each other just pointing out an objective truth that jannik was not a dominate player/potential grand slam winner last season (age 21/22) and carlos will finish this season semi-dominant and with two more grand slams (+ an olympic medal) (age 20/21). you can see how quickly a player's career can turn around within one season. so any talk about carlos being washed/playing badly sounds silly to me i can't lie. yes carlos wasn't as successful this year as last year. yes carlos wasn't as successful this year as jannik. last year jannik's highlights were throwing up in a trash can and beating djoko in davis cup (exaggerating.) so i really feel like carlos's struggles this season are slightly overinflated. we talk about "he has time he has time" let's be clear not only does he have time in his career (he is literally 21) he also has time on his closest current rival (age-wise, carlos's 2024 season is jannik's 2022 season). it will be two years before carlos is even the same age as jannik is now. so like. lets be chill here u know.

Love island au where everyone realizes they’re gay. Remus is a nice guy and all the girls love him but feel no sexual chemistry. He struggles to make connections and leaves after 1 week.

Sirius is devastated when Remus leaves bc he just made the best friend he’s ever had. All the girls want to be coupled up with Sirius. He makes out with everyone bc he’s trying to find a spark. Accidentally breaks multiple hearts bc he can’t choose between girls. The spark just isn’t there and he misses spending his days chatting and with Remus. He’s just so interesting!

Sirius stays at the villa for a long time bc he’s hot and makes good eye contact. But he’s miserable the whole time and can’t wait to catch up with Remus when this whole ordeal is over.

Remus watching from home get more and more jealous of Sirius kissing girls and realizes he’s in love. Sirius doesn’t realize he fancies Remus until the show is over bc his heart is too scrambled in the villa.

Marlene & Dorcas are there. They end up sleeping on the daybeds together bc they don’t feel a connection with their coupled boy. They cuddle and get cozy, and decide to keep sleeping out there together regardless of being recoupled with other boys. Eventually they start fucking and decide they’ve found who they want. Leave the villa holding hands and Marlene flips off the cameras.
