My guess is the ponies pictured are Wind Whistler, North Star, and Lofty, as a homage to the 1986 My Little Pony the Movie poster / VHS cover:

G1 My Little Pony

Rating: ƱƱƱƱƱ (perfect)

Their blocky nubby bodies perfectly capture the whimsy of childhood imaginings of horses. Even better their heads are actually shaped like horse and they seem to have been created with love for the humble horse.

Wind Whistler as pictured is my favourite as she is transgender it is a pity her toy is covered in flocking which I cannot handle for sensory reasons. I should buy one and wash her clean of sin.
