I fear it's obvious in hindsight, but dalinar's final act being the greatest fulfillment of the "unite them" message from earlier books—uniting the remaining shards against Retribution as a double Shard that can work both halves towards the same end is so much stronger than any single Shard or even Harmony.

One character I also really like in Wind and truth is Gezamal. The way he always participated in the conversation whenever Adolin was teaching Yanagawn how to play towers, and how sincerly and genuinly he cares for and believes in the emperor is actually very cute. He believes in Yanagawn, and he even risked his position as his guard because he trully trusted his judgment, even if he's still a child. And I'm not saying is good to blindly follow your pollitical leaders orders (specially with everything that's going on in the world), I just wanted to appreciate how much he respects Yanagawn as a person, not as an authority figure but as a young boy who's still able to make his own decisions. And I really love his interactions with Adolin. A really great guy indeed.

i feel like even though Kal and the other herald's minds are Chilling fr fr, their bodies on Braize are gonna be fucked up.

Like... people with trauma can overcome it mentally, but still flinch when someone raises their hand near them. Even if they know mentally that nothing bad will happen, bodies are weird and can cause panic attacks for no reason.

I'm talking about when Szeth's spren went to talk to Kaladin and told him that all highspren had numbers as their names, to which Kaladin asked "Like cryptics?", and then both Syl and 12124 gasped in unison and Syl reprimended Kaladin for being racist.

Kaladin, how do you dare to say such things?

Setting aside Kaladin's tendency to see people he needs to connect with as Tien, I LOVE the idea that Szeth is Tien if Tien excelled at war. A+ foil. A man nearly 20 years older is your younger brother congrats.
