looking through clothes catalogs from the 20s is so weird bc I’ll see a coat thats like 20 dollars and I’m like “oh hey thats a pretty good deal :)” and then I put it into an inflation calculator an compare to todays value and the coats actually like 300 dollars and I explode instantly
