Danny was doing homework when Fright knight came to him.

FK: I would like your permission to go out on a Quest.

DP: Why are you asking me?

FK: You are the Guardian of the portal, a keeper of balance, and may be the next ghost king. So i ask your leave.

DP: What is this quest?

FK: It has come to my attention that there is a energy entity out in the stars who claims to be the emotional embodiment of fear and is powering this "Sinestro Corps" to do heinious deeds in the name of fear and terror. I seek to eliminate this corps and give this "Parallax" a beating and a lesson in true fear.

DP: Parallax sounds like a pharmaceutical drug or a laxative.

FK: Fear work well as a laxative. Your friend Tucker knows this very well.

DP: I thought you were the embodiment of fear?

FK: I AM.

DP: OK permission uh granted i guess.

Fright Knight bows then turns to go but is interrupted.

DP: oh and Fright knight?

FK: Hmm?

DP: win.

FK: of course.

When Jason shots Scarecrow and free Bruce in Arkham Knight, he already has a red bat painted on his militia fit, WHICH MEANS, after being defeated by Batman, he went around Gotham looking for red paint to mark himself as one of the bats. This boy. He wanted Bruce to look at him in the eyes when he died, but the moment they do look at each other in the eyes for more than a couple of seconds, Jason folded and went back to being an ally of Batman. The months/year of torture did not stand a chance to having his dad calling him Robin and asking him to come home. And I think Jason knew that the moment he revealed himself and saw Bruce's reaction, because during their fight, Jason keeps trying to keep his distance, doesn't look at Bruce for long and refuses to listen to him. He thought it was going to be easy, but the moment he was facing his dad and saw the emotions on his face, he started losing determination in his vengeance.

But also, Bruce not being able to punch the Knight because he can see Jason's face. He is looking in the eyes of his son and he cannot punch his son!

I like to think that Wally for the longest time was a mute baby who was very non verbal, but instead stared intensely at things he was interested in/liked. And even as an adult, he still kept he staring quirk smhhhh there were a lotta instances where Home had to explain Wally’s staring was a positive thing

Me, trudging through the Malady Mania suddenly consuming the GGG fandom: Hm, I need to put something positive into it for a change (besides the other brave souls also trying to ignore the horrors)...

So!

Reasons below

Patapon 1-3's Megapon: -First introduced in mission 26 (Volcano Guardian) in Patapon after defeating the beast Ciokina, it is the tallest known unit (other than Dekapon) with a pension for AoE attacks but low hp.

-Different drum combo produce a variety of attacks; soundwaves, sonic balls that attack multiple enemies, and even a chance to create fire/burn damage during Fever Mode.

-Patapon 2 Megapons can be split into multiple classes, with one notable variant Babassa just so happening to have a medium chance to inflict 9999 fire damage to a boss enemy (from the wiki).

-...While it's not entirely important for og Megapon, I thought it was funny to mention. Ah yes, that one band kid that just so happens to harness the power of the sun, and they look so happy about it too! :)

Great God Grove's Megapon: -Originally owned by King, the previous Godpoke before the main character (who's also called Godpoke by the Grove locals) and the soon-to-be God of Eloquence. The MC Godpoke found the Megapon after it fell into the boat they were riding to the Grove from the Spire, and believe me, it's a pretty long drop.

-Has a built-in feature of "taking the words out of people's mouths" via word bubbles, as well as ejecting items and said-word bubbles back at people (with varied results).

-Megapon was also called "the heavenly horn" by one of HobbyHoo's gods Thespius Green (the name hasn't caught on yet).

-The fandom theorized Megapon is sentient to some degree, either after years of work with King and/or from the accumulation of the messages they sent (sass is optional).

So if you're part of the GGG fandom, welcome to the funky world of 2008-2011 drum beats, a journey of holy guidance (ie. religious crusades) by the Mighty Patapon to IT, some tiny but persistent dust mites, and the now growing hype for its spiritual successor Ratatan.

(Rarepairs only because when the top ten ships are included the results are always very predictable 😅)

A rarepair for our definition is any ship with less than 2000 fics on Ao3 when the “otp:true” filter is used. I will not be allowing any characters mentioned less than 7 times in the books, unless they’re from cursed child, or one of the video games, of course.

You don’t have to check these things yourself, obviously I’m going to do it.
