PRESS FREEDOM!
Juvie Garde
It was February 22, the day of our symposium with a theme "The fight for press freedom". With that theme it catches my attention because we all knew that the media nowadays have been the great enemy of our government in a sense that they are willing to sacrifice their own lives just for us to know the truth. We have three guest speakers namely Mr. Rey Legario, who is an anchor of RMN Radio Statiob, Mr. Herminio Legaspi Manager of Rombo Radio Station and Atty. Erlan Deluvio the OIC Regional Director, Comission on Human Rights. This three big names really contributes a lot especially in serving our community. What I really enjoyed in that symposium was the sharing part where in the speakers shares their thoughts and ideas about the freedom of the press, they also sight some of the laws in which it preserves their rights as an individual. One of the speakers cited this from Horace Greeley " Journalism will kill you, but it will keep you alive while you're at it" and yes its very true, I can see that she's very eager to stand as a journalist the way she speak and the way she delivers her point of views. We all knew that the journalist was well-known as "watchdog" in which they are strong enough to deliver the truth even though their lives is in danger. For me being a journalist is not only a job but it is a job in which only brave people can do. And as a person we need to respect our journalist just like how we respect ourselves they are humans too, they also have feelings. We need to think critically in order for us not to be played by those politicians, not only for politicians but also to the people that surrounds us.
Nadia Bidara
The only security of all is a free press.

February 22, 2019 we had a symposium that was Friday morning with a theme “The Fight for Press Freedom Continues”
Nowadays Press or Media is a hottest topic people based on the different latest news articles they see in their social media accounts even in the television and radio, we need to think first before we say because everybody can judges you. I realized that it’s not easy to be a broadcaster or anything that connects in media or press. Freedom of press is a freedom of fear, Freedom of intimidation and Freedom of violence not only for the journalist and for those citizens mean the right to tell the story share opinions and give voice and ideas, no matter how can because journalists involve seeking and telling the truth. One speaker said Journalism will kill you but it will keep you while you’re at it. If you know something speak out let the world hear the truth. Freedom of the press is not just important to democracy, it is democracy.
Mellen Salo
February 22, 2019 is our symposium on Press Freedom. The theme was "The fight for Press Freedom Continues" and it is all about the freedom of speech to voice out, to fight, and to stand the rights of individual. Journalism is threat by the politicians because they are the one who can speak about the truth.
Danah Malinay
The recent controversies have come up regarding press freedom. The symposium brought awareness and useful information of what was happening to the Philippines and the journalists affected from recent issues. It brought an alarming thought of how much troubles such as threats journalists face just to speak abut the truth. Because of the existence of journalism, the people has every right to know what is going on. Journalism brings a lot of importance in the Philippines to my eyes because of how controversial the government can be.

On February 18-22 is an ordinary week for me because as what we are expecting for as usual, we make our research good even I’m very stress in my 14 subject but all of that is useless if I cannot manage my time well and I can handle myself. Memories in making our research even though it so hard in making our research but we trying to make our research better with confidence and with our strength and hearts. But despite of that hardship on February we know that all of my tiredness result good and better future and those teacher who help me I want to say thank you and also I cannot attend to the symposium because I had a class during time day even though I want to attend but it is hard for me to manage my time and it result conflict of schedule.

“You get a one teaching and a related assessment. It is also correlated with my text.”
Freedom of the press is the right to circulate opinions in print without censorship by the government. Americans enjoy freedom of the press under the First Amendment to the Constitution, which states: ‘Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech or of the press.
basically it is the right of the press to critic public officials especially when they can see something wrong . The media personnel contribute a lot that they come to the point that their willingness in sacrificing their lives just to give and spread the truth to uplift justice  for the people who badly needed it. I salute those media men who continuously give the honest and true information  about the current issue that happen in the society. Hence, let us give honor to those press who were killed by those people who are trying to covered the stains in their name just to look decent personnel.

The goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create the possibilities for a child to invent and discover, to create men who are capable of doing new things.             - Jean Piaget Last week we still working to our paper and our adviser was not around due to the important matters. And we still revising our papers by following the comments and the suggestions of our classmates and friends. Also we also process the letters to our validators and we gather data for the secondary data in the barangay zone 3 and we interview the the residents of Pantua and the Baranggay Chairman. It’s a nice experience by the way because finally we conduct a interview out side the campus.

Exhibit Week!
Juvie Garde
It was february 11, 2019 when the EXIBIT WEEK started. I am very excited and nervous at the same time because we don't have any ideas what is that program all about our idea is that we need to finish our research so that we will not fail to our research subject. It was friday when we started to make our 3d box, actaully making that box is easy if both groups will cooperate, but what happened is that at first the other group was really helping but in the latter part, our group was the only one who is finishing that box, frankly we are mad that time because other group left us, but because we are mature enough we still finished that box even though they are not there. It was Sunday when we decided to come back to school to paste all the details about our research. It was just the three of us we already printed the paper only to find out that it was wrong because we didn't follow the format that our teacher gave to us, we are so stressed that time because the printing station was far and it was very sunny that time. It was past 12 in the afternoon still we are at the school it was just me and my groupmate, we don't take our lunch in order to finish our research and atlast we finshed it we are very thankful that some of our classmates last year help us in editing our research. It was already dark when we left the school, we prepared for our tables and we clean our venue for tomorrows exibit. All in all it was such a happy experience for us, we realized that being united is the most important in order to finished our different tasks. And the day has come it was already monday, all people were busy preparing for their boxes and tables and we as well. The day ends we a smile on our faces because our sweat was payed off with the successful of our research paper, all the judges who came to our booth was amazed because we are the only group who have that study and they find it interesting. At the end we received a certificate indicating that we are the 3rd place for individual class category and we are very happy that all the sacrifices that we had payed with this priceless certificate, and also I am very thankful for my research buddies who never give up just to finish our research paper, you guys are the best! But the most important to thank is our God he never left us alone and thank you for guiding us always.

Expectation versus Reality, I expect that this activity we’re going to be bored like the other academic week I’ve experienced in my last school, but it’s different my Academic week is so much fun and excitement. It’s my first time to join and present a research I can’t explain the feeling every time the judge is on our booth I enjoy the academic with my team and I’m so thankful to my team this is one of my amazing experience in my Grade 12 life.

The week came by stressful amd hectic and thought my team and I wouldn’t make it. I was afraid of failure and anxiety just took over me, but I was thankful for my team for being the best supporters and motivaters out there! We had to exhibit our research AND our product in our Entrpreneur class. It was the most stressful thing to do. Thankfully the week came by amd left us with memories and accomplishments that will leave me more determined that we can overcome tasks like this in the future.

Last February 11 and 12 is our exhibit in our research subject which is all HUMSS 12 Students must be present our research. That day I'm so happy and nervous because we need to present our study not only to our fellow students who visited our both but also their are invited staffs who will judge our research study. We don't know whats the next thing to happen but we just go with the flow. And Thanks to Almighty God becayse he never leave us even in a difficult times and we successfully answer all the questions that asked to us. I also learned that all your sacrifices will be fade off if you really work hard for it.

Many people think that economics is about money. Well, to some extent this is true. Economics has a lot to do with money: with how much money people are paid; how much they spend: what it costs to buy various items; how much money firms earn; how much money there is in total in the economy. But despite the large number of areas in which our lives are concerned with money, economics is more than just the study of money.
One must bear in mind that our wants are virtually unlimited, while the resources available to satisfy these wants are limited. In other words when society demands more of a product than can actually be produced to fulfil those wants we have a problem of scarcity. Because of this scarcity there are many people suffering poverty in line with this it causes corruption not only on the field of politics but also in our society most especially the health of other people because of this economic scarcity some of us have a disease that why we are not healthy in our body Hearts and mind.
So for now we think about it that economic give us positive and negative effect.

Exhibit week, it was a stressful week yet we manage to deal with it, yes i admit that i was lack of participation in making those 3D boxes at least in making paper i contribute a lot not just in our paper in both research and entrep paper but also i know i contribute a lot in our group. I heard some negative feed backs from my group mates yet i don’t have any time to deal with them, i do have lot of things to do, the most painful part here on striving hard just to have a high grades, was those people who gives feedback, those are the people who keep pulling you down not knowing the inner reason of everything. I am matured enough to know my limitations on dealing with those nonsense people. I really thanking our leader for understanding us and for the right hand of our group i thank her a lot for being so active. And for those people who keeps stabbing me let’s sort it out. see you guys. In addition our exhibit week was successful BEST HONOR TO OUR LEADER, GOOD LUCK TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO BETRAYED ME..

We are now in the month of february, one more month to go and we will wear the white toga that we have been praying for. But before that we need to finish our task as a student and that is to pass our requirements before the deadline. We are still working on our research paper, we do it little by little because if we focus our mind in one subject it will cause a lot to our other subjects. So as a student it is our duty to have an initiative how to manage our own time, and in that sense we will have a high possibility that we can pass our subjects. If we have disciplined in ourselves we can overcome those hardships that keep on bringing us down. We all know that in the end of this struggles we are all the winners because we have overcome it through our passion and that is the passion in learning. This is not yet the end of our struggles because next year we will going to be a freshmens in different universities, another year, another problems, and another lessons in life. But still we are here standing straight because we have goals in life and that goal is to achieve all of our dreams. Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. — Confucius

The following week was a time I began my unhealthy habit of cramming my class subjects and submitting their requirements, as various events are fast approaching. I was put into a position of stress and helplessness but thanks to my friends, group mates, classmates, and teachers I didn’t want to give up. I had to keep myself motivated and determined to reach my goals despite the doubts and anxiety. My team managed to keep ourselves together and doing our best in hope of it to be enough for us to get by the week. It can be considered as one of the stressful week for me, for we do have days left to finish our tasks, especially our papers.

SEMINAR
Last week, January 18 we attended seminar forum at the smc hall of NDMU, the forum was divided into two sessions the theme of the first session was "Philippine Political Economy: How Public Policy Influence National Economy" it talks about if our economy was progressing or not. One of the main socioeconomic planning body was the NEDA or the  National economic and Development Authority where in this sector provides high-level advice to policymakers in congress and the executive branch. The life we want as Filipinos are ; Matatag, Maginhawa, and Panatag. In order for us to be globally competitive we need to have a character that will guide us in a better life. And as a student we are the future of our generation and we need to be the first to follow our own regulations. On the second part of our session with a theme ``Koronadal: the state of public security in the t crown city`` it talks about we residence of the said community, we need to be prepared as always because no one knows what will happen next. We need to be vigilant in our own surroundings, we need to have an enough knowledge on what to do next when there are some incidents that we do not expect, and most especially we need to respect each individual, because for me the main cause of war is misunderstanding. Without a proper communication how can we deliver the message that we wanted to tell to them? so for me if we are all just open minded and avoid being a narrow-minded we can end this what we called war. We Filipino people are known for being kind, trustworthy, soft-hearted and being there when no one was else. We need to be united as one and for that we need to unite as one.

SEMINAR
The Vision of a Better Home January 18th was the scheduled for a seminar forum that’s been divided into two parts that was discussing about our country’s current economy and the security of the Philippines. "Philippines Political Economy: How Public Policy Influence National Economy" It was the first session regarding the role of NEDA discussing the current state of the country’s economy and their vision for the future of their implemented rgram the Philippines Ambisyon Natin 2040. I have been aware of the policies implemented by the government to provide a better future for our country’s economy for it to be improved and developed for its capabilities to provide the ‘wants’ of the fellow Filipinos. "Koronadal: The State of Public Security in the Crown City" The second session of the forum discussed more on the security of the City of Koronadal and in the Philippines. We talked about the roles of the PNP providing us information that debunked the stigma of police violence and many more questions regarding the PNP despite some questions being unanswerd due to its confidentiality. It was an interesting experience to explore these aspects of our country that is still in the process of development. It brings hope to the youth who will someday witness a future that we envisioned.

"One good teacher in a lifetime may sometimes change a delinquent into a solid citizen " -Philip Wylie As the day passed, little by little our research paper was really progressing and because of the effort of our teammates the hardwork that we shared together have been paved off. Last year before the Christmas break we with our groupmates talk that we don't need to be stressed because Christmas is nearly coming. So as the break was done we with our groupmates talk about our research paper, we tackled about that we need to finish our paper so that we will pass it on time. At first it is very hard for us because we need to manage our time, we don't have the same schedules some of our groupmates has his/her training in sports, the other was a seminarian. But at the end we conquer all the problems that we have face together at now we are still working on it. But we know to ourselves that we deserve this outcome because we know to ourselves that we already give our best and that best will lead us to success.

The first week of school after our Winter Break actually put me in an unprepared position but I wasn’t afraid to face the new tasks I must face with my fellow classmates. Besides catching up with peers, as a leader, I must do my duties to guide my group mates in handling our requirements as a team. I decided to distribute the tasks evenly towards my group mates and direct them on what must be done and should be done on the given deadline. I started noticing a bond with my group mates that have motivated me even more to believe in my group and to inspire each other, to help one another, to finish our task as one. It has given me the determination to prove not just to everyone but to ourselves that we can accomplish anything with teamwork.
