"FACTUAL ALLEGATIONS
9. Plaintiff Alexander Morris is an African American man and is the lead singer of the famous Motown group the "Four Tops." At the time of the incident the Four Tops were on a national music tour with the Temptations and had recently performed at the Grammy Awards.
10. On or about April 7, 2023; Plaintiff was transported to the Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital emergency room via ambulance, and he presented to the emergency room with difficulty breathing and chest pain, he was on oxygen, and he had a significant known history of cardiac disease including the placement of stints and defibrillator. During his hospitalization, Plaintiff was ultimately diagnosed with a heart infraction that may require a heart transplant, pneumonia, and he suffered three seizures during his stay.
11. When he presented to the emergency room Plaintiff informed a nurse and a security guard that he was a member of the famous Motown group the "Four Tops," and that he had current security concerns due to stalkers and fans.
12. Shortly after check-in a nurse Holly Jackson, a White male security guard Greg Ciesielski, and a White male emergency room doctor Brandon Harris Fishman, DO racially profiled him and/or profiled him based upon a perceived disability and placed an order for a psychological evaluation for Plaintiff because they did not believe he was a singer or member of the "Four Tops." Doctor Brandon Harris Fishman, DO, the emergency room doctor who was on staff met with Plaintiff and interviewed him, Plaintiff informed him of his medical history, and informed him that he was having difficulty breathing and chest pain. Defendants and Brandon Harris Fishman, DO wrongfully assumed he was mentally ill when he revealed his identity as a celebrity figure. Defendants and/or Brandon Harris Fishman, DO made the decision to remove him from oxygen and pursue a psychiatric evaluation instead despite his clear symptoms of cardiac distress and significant medical history.
13. Plaintiff had a valid identification on his person and could easily have been identified as a singer in the Four Tops group.
14. Brandon Harris Fishman, DO ordered a psychological evaluation for Plaintiff instead of ordering the emergency medical treatment he needed. Plaintiff was denied the emergency medical care he needed due to his heart condition and pneumonia, and instead a security guard was instructed to ensure he was placed into a restraining jacket and/or a four-point restraint mechanism, removed his belongings, and Plaintiff was told he was going to have a "psych eval" or psychological evaluation. Plaintiff was referred to Virjaya Gopal Kotha, MD for the psychological evaluation.
15. Plaintiff asked if he could prove his identity by showing his identification card, and the White male security guard ordered him to "sit his Black ass down." None of the nursing staff intervened to stop the racial discrimination and mistreatment of Plaintiff. Upon information and belief none of the nursing staff reported the mistreatment or use of the racial slur to a supervisor. Moreover, none of the nursing staff thought to simply ask for Plaintif's identification.
16. Plaintiff told medical staff he was having difficulty breathing and asked for the oxygen back but was ignored. Plaintiff asked to have the restraint device removed and asked for his personal belongings back so he could leave and seek treatment at another hospital, and he was told he was not free to leave; thus, he was falsely imprisoned and deprived of his personal property. During this time his medical condition continuously declined and he was denied the medical treatment he desperately needed.
17. Several security guards were called to surround the nursing station to ensure Plaintiff could not leave. During this entire incident Plaintiff was not being treated for his medical emergency, namely a severe heart condition and pneumonia. Defendant Hospital and Defendant Jackson blatantly refused to provide Plaintiff with medical treatment due to his race and/or perceived mental disability. Instead, Plaintiff received a deliberate misdiagnosis and received a lower standard of medical care based on his race that amounted to racial discrimination and delayed his actual diagnosis.
18. Finally, Plaintiff's wife came to the nursing station to collect his belongings and she saw what was transpiring and Plaintiff informed his wife that the doctors thought he was delusional. Plaintiff's wife informed one of the security officers that he was actually a member of the Four Tops, but he took no action on Plaintiff's behalf, and he was left in the restraints and denied medical treatment. A nurse came to Plaintiff's side, and Plaintiff asked to show the nurse the video of him performing at the Grammys. The nurse realized Plaintiff was a member of the Four Tops, and the nurse went and got the emergency room doctor to inform him. The emergency room doctor returned and said he was cancelling the psychological evaluation.
19. The restraint jacket was finally removed, and he was placed back on oxygen. Plaintiff was restrained for approximately an hour and a half or 90 minutes. As aforementioned, during his hospitalization, Plaintiff was ultimately diagnosed with a heart infraction that may require a heart transplant, pneumonia, and he suffered three seizures during his stay.
20. Plaintiff was offered a $25.00 gift card to Meijers as an apology for the dehumanization and discrimination he faced at the hands of the hospital. He refused to accept the gift card.
21. Subsequent to the incident, a security guard that worked at the hospital contacted Plaintiff and informed him that Greg Ciesielski the security guard that restrained Plaintiff and made the racist comment, made racist comments and jokes to him and other coworkers about African Americans, and that he frequently used excessive force with patients.
22. The security guard who called Plaintiff also reported that he witnessed employees tampering with the internal incident report made on the incident involving Plaintiff, and he believed the use of racial slur was removed from the internal incident report, and he stated that employees were instructed not to discuss the incident. The security guard also stated that Greg Ciesielski was not disciplined or suspended because of the incident.
23. As a result of the above actions and inactions of Defendants as described above and below, Plaintiff suffered injuries and damages. Defendants are sued jointly and severally."

Dolly Parton - Jolene 1973
Dolly Parton is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and philanthropist. With a career spanning over fifty years, Parton has been described as a country legend and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. She has had 25 singles reach no. 1 on the Billboard country music charts, a record for a female artist (tied with Reba McEntire). She has 44 career Top 10 country albums, a record for any artist, and she has 110 career-charted singles over the past 40 years. She has composed over 3,000 songs. She has founded a number of charitable and philanthropic organizations, chief among them is the Dollywood Foundation, which manages a number of projects to bring education and poverty relief to East Tennessee where she grew up. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Parton donated $1 million towards research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, which funded the critical early stages of development of the Moderna vaccine.
"Jolene" was released on October 15, 1973, as the first single and title track from her the thirteenth solo studio album Jolene, and became Parton's second solo number one single on the country charts. "Jolene" became Parton's first top ten hit song in the UK, reaching number seven in the UK Singles Chart in 1976. It also re-entered the chart when Parton performed at the Glastonbury festival in 2014.
According to Parton, the song was inspired by a red-headed bank clerk who flirted with her husband, Carl Dean, at his local bank branch around the time they were newly married. In an interview, she also revealed that Jolene's name and appearance are based on that of a young fan who came on stage for her autograph.
During an interview on The Bobby Bones Show in 2018, Parton revealed that she wrote "Jolene" on the same day that she wrote "I Will Always Love You".
"Jolene" was nominated for the Grammy Awards for Best Female Country Vocal Performance twice, in 1975 and 1976. The first nomination was for the original recording, and the second was for a live recording from the TV series In Concert. It did not win either time, but in 2017, a cover by the a cappella group Pentatonix which featured Parton as a guest singer won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
In 2023 she released her forty-ninth solo studio album, Rockstar, a collaborative project with a variety of rock musicians and where "Jolene" is sung by Italian rockband MĂ„neskin, listen to it here!
"Jolene" received a total of 94,3% yes votes!

1 year ago today, Taylor Swift and Gracie Abrams went out to dinner to celebrate their GRAMMYs nominations and then ended up writing their song ''us.''
'We had gone to dinner, and it was in November. It was so sweet. She [Taylor] was like, we need to go to dinner and celebrate the Grammy nominations. And so we went to dinner and we were catching up, I hadn't seen her in a second, so we were celebrating. She was in the middle of Tortured Poets, I was in the middle of The Secret Of Us at the time. And we were just talking about our lives and how much we loved the albums we were working on. And so we were like, okay, well, neither of us had heard the songs. She was like, we have to go back to the house and listen to everything. So we literally went like song for song. She played me one, I played her one, she played me one, I played her one. It felt like we were theatre kids, just, like, running around the kitchen, like, fully physically performing these songs. Somebody said, was that picture of you on the floor after you listened to The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived? It literally was. It was after that song. And that's the story really. And then we wrote us.''

Joker Out Masterpost for new fans
New fan of Joker Out? Say no more!Â
Getting to know a new artist youâve found can be intimidating if itâs all in another language, so weâve compiled some of our favourite interviews, articles and lore here! Youâve arrived in a wonderful fanbase, welcome from all of us here at JokerOutSubs!Â
If youâd just like a short overview of the band and their history, you can watch this excellent Finnish summary of them that weâve translated (14m 53s).
youtube
But if you want to dive into the details, then check out our timeline, full of videos and articles translated by JokerOutSubs!Â
Timeline graphic:
Timeline in details below the cut đ
Timeline in details:Â
How did the band form?Â
Joker Out was formed from two bands, Apokalipsa and BurĆŸuazija.Â
Apokalipsa included Bojan CvjetiÄanin (vocals), Martin JurkoviÄ (bass) and Matic KovaÄiÄ (drums)Â
They gained some traction with young people around Slovenia, particularly with their song 'MogoÄe' ('Maybe'), which you can watch on YouTube here.
They came to the attention of Kris GuĆĄtin, who was inspired to start learning guitar! He discusses the details in this video (at 9:40).Â
Kris then met Jan Peteh, another student of his guitar teacher, and at their teachers advice, they formed the band BurĆŸuazija.Â
Bojan attended their second ever gig in 2016, and decided these two excellent guitarists were exactly what had been missing from Apokalipsa, as he wasnât happy with their current guitarists. He asked them to join, and they accepted
The new lineup (Bojan, Jan, Kris, Martin and Matic) decided to rename themselves Joker Out. The name means nothing, but they thought it sounded good and was the âleast horribleâ of all the ideas they could think of.Â
So, in 2016, Joker Out was officially formed!Â
November 2016, Kot srce ki kri poganja:Â
Joker Outâs first music video was for their song âKot srce ki kri poganjaâ ('Like a heart that pumps blood'), filmed in Janâs hometown of Vrhnika! We eventually got this song on Spotify on their 2023 album Live from Arena StoĆŸice!
Music video: Kot srce ki kri poganja
English Interview (from 3:37 to 6:05): Joker Out discusses filming the music video
June 2017, Ć pil Liga:
One of the earliest performances for Joker Out was at Ć pil Liga, a competition for young bands in Slovenia. They won, and recorded their winning song, Omamljeno telo (intoxicated body) in November as part of the prize.Â
Live (33m): Joker Out at Ć pil liga
Interview (5m): Reflections on Ć pil Liga in 2023Â
c.2017/18, Bojanâs attempt at going solo:
The band took a hiatus c.2017/18, and Bojan considered going solo at that time, even working with a few producers. He eventually realised that he belonged with the band! Hear him tell the story:
Reel (1m 23s): A1 Vajb - Bojanâs fail
2019, A change up for the band:
The band began working with their current producer, Ćœare Pak, and their videographer Mark Pirc, in 2019 - both of whom have been referred to as the sixth member of the band. This led to a change in their sound and production quality, which culminated in âGolaâ ('Naked'), the first of their songs to be a big hit!
Music video: Gola
Zlata piĆĄÄal ('Golden Flute') - Best New Artist 2019:
Joker Out won their first Zlata piĆĄÄal award in 2019, for best new artist (one of many theyâd go on to win!) This is a kind of Slovenian Grammy! Covid interrupted the proceedings, but you can see their interview for it here (3m 59s)-Â
Interview: Joker Out wins a Zlata piĆĄÄal ('Golden Flute') for Best New Artist 2019
Umazane misli, and a new member:Â
During the Covid times, the band began recording their first studio album, 'Umazane misli' ('Dirty thoughts'), which was originally going to be released in March 2020 but was repeatedly delayed until October 2021. The first half was recorded with drummer Matic KovaÄiÄ, but the band felt they needed something extra and brought in Jure MaÄek to help write the arrangements. They loved him so much, he never left!Â
Interview (from 10:40 to 11:36): Bojan talks briefly about Jure joining the band
COVID times, and CvetliÄarna:Â
The band had arranged to do two concerts at CvetliÄarna, a very important venue in Slovenia and a big break for them. This was delayed several times due to Covid, but eventually managed to go ahead in October 2021 for the release of their first album.Â
Video (1m 14s): CvetliÄarna promotional video
Live (1h 28m): Joker Out at CvetliÄarna
Interview (34m 55s): Bojan discusses CvetliÄarna, its importance, and Covid
Umazane misli album launch:Â
'Umazane misli' was extremely well received! The band would go on to win two more Zlata piĆĄÄal awards, Newcomers of the Year in 2020 and Artist of the Year in 2021.
Interview (37m 08s): Umazane misli album presentation
An acting career for Bojan?Â
Around the same time as 'Umazane misli' was released, Bojan began considering an acting career. He acted in two episodes of the series âGospod Professorâ and in another series, which was eventually reworked as a film called âKaj pa Esterâ and released in December 2023. He decided music was his passion though, and he wanted to fully focus on that.Â
Interview (from 10:04 to 11:30): Bojan discusses his acting career
Interview (2m 11s): Kaj pa Ester interview
Interview (2m 30s): Kaj pa Ester premiĂšre

September 2022, KriĆŸanke:
The band got straight to work writing their second album, 'Demoni' ('Demons'), and decided to present it in September 2022 at KriĆŸanke, another hugely important venue in Slovenia. This whole concert wasnât recorded, but we have an interesting advertisement they did for it, an interview and a clip of one song live from KriĆŸanke!Â
Video (5m 4s): Full Joker Out Hotline trailers
Interview (2m 16s): Joker Out with parachutes to KriĆŸanke?
Live (4m 7s): 'Novi val' ('New wave') live at KriĆŸanke
Interview (44m 35s): Demoni album presentation
Another new member!Â
After KriĆŸanke at the end of 2022, Martin JurkoviÄ, one of the founding members of the band, made the decision to leave to focus on his studies.
Video (2m 20s): Martin's departure
Thankfully, he was replaced by the wonderful Nace Jordan, who remains the bassist in the current lineup.
Article: Nace Jordan discusses joining the band
2023, Eurovision:
Joker Out were then internally selected to go to Eurovision 2023, and began recording their Eurovision song, 'Carpe Diem', in Hamburg in December 2022. To learn more, you can watch the Carpe Diem series, a documentary series which followed their entire journey.Â
The first episode, recording Carpe Diem, can be found with subtitles in multiple languages by JokerOutSubs!

The band performed their song for the first time live on Misija Liverpool, a televised debut, on the 4th February 2023.

There are quite literally hundreds of interviews with Joker Out during the Eurovision era. Here's one from just before the final, that we have translated.

And a few English interviews that became famous in the fanbase!Â

Interview (1m 36s): Bojan talks about their results
European tour and Sunny Side of London (22nd September)
Luckily, the best was still to come for Joker Out! The rest of 2023 was spent on an extremely successful European tour, and they also released their first English single, 'Sunny Side of London', in September.Â
We at JokerOutSubs were also thrilled to interview the band twice on their tour!
Original Interview (15m 25s): JokerOutSubs interview in Tampere
Original Interview (14m 37s): JokerOutSubs interview in PoznaĆ
6th of October 2023, StoĆŸice:
All of this, however, was building up to StoĆŸice. This is the biggest closed venue in Slovenia and Joker Out managed to sell out their October show there - an extremely important milestone for Slovenian artists.Â
Interview (15m 4s): StoĆŸice and their whirlwind post Eurovision career
Live: Full concert live-streamed part 1 and part 2
A lovely moment at StoĆŸice was when former members Martin JurkoviÄ and Matic KovaÄiÄ joined the band onstage to perform 'Kot srce ki kri poganja'!
Interview (2m 4s): Martin and Matic discuss the experience
Interview (5m 9s): Joker Out post StoĆŸice impressions
London era and Everybodyâs Waiting:Â
Joker Out spent the beginning of 2024 in London, where they wrote new music, did live cooking shows on Instagram and met the incredibly talented photographer, Damon Baker, who did a beautiful series of photoshoots with them. They also released their next English single, 'Everybodyâs Waiting', in February.Â
They sat down with us at JokerOutSubs to discuss all this on the 20th February!
Original Interview (59m 13s): JokerOutSubs interview in London

BEYONCĂ +Â 2023 Grammy wins
After 88 career nominations, the R&B singer and pop superstar won her 32nd Grammy on Sunday, for best dance/electronic music album, giving her the record for most Grammy victories. Solti, a Hungarian-born conductor who was the previous leader, won his last award in 1998, the year after his death.
BeyoncĂ©âs fourth win of the night â after taking home best R&B song for âCuff Itâ and two awards at the preshow ceremony â came in a category that showed the breadth of her two-decade career: âRenaissance,â her tribute to Black and queer dance music, beat work by Bonobo, Diplo, Odesza and RĂŒfĂŒs du Sol. BeyoncĂ© became the first Black woman to win in the dance album category, which has been awarded since 2005.
Earlier, her No. 1 single âBreak My Soulâ had won in best dance/electronic recording, while âPlastic Off the Sofa,â from the same genre-spanning album, won best traditional R&B performance. [x]

Mrs Tina Turner The "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll"Â
(November 26, 1939 â May 24, 2023)
In a career spanning more than 60 years, the US-Swiss singer, who was born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush, Tennessee, won eight competitive Grammy Awards and has a star on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the St Louis Walk of Fame.
Her famous track list over the years includes the Bond theme track for 1995âs GoldenEye, with a tune of the same name co-written by Bono and The Edge of U2 fame, and other tracks include We Donât Need Another Hero (Thunderdome), Whatâs Love Got to Do With It, Private Dancer, Letâs Stay Together and many more.
In 2008 she duetted at the Grammys with Beyonce for a rendition of Proud Mary which featured both the powerful singers, in sparkly outfits, mirroring each otherâs choreography.
Other notable duets through her career included performing with David Bowie and in 1985 she took to the stage with The Rolling Stonesâ Sir Mick Jagger during Live Aid.
Her career spanned more than music, with her starring in the 1985 film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome alongside Mel Gibson and she also appeared in 1993âs Last Action Hero.
In 2021 she sold the rights to her back catalogue after reaching an agreement with BMG for an undisclosed sum, signing over her share of her recordings, her music publishing writerâs share and her name, image and likeness, the company said.
Her solo works include 10 studio albums, two live albums, two soundtracks and five compilations, which together have sold more than 100 million records.
All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family.Â
Tina, we will miss you dearly.

Update post:
Today marks 123 days since Hamas launched the war in Gaza with its massacre of Israeli civilians.
There were two terrorist attacks today in Israel, both stopped before anyone was injured. The first entails Palestinians from the West Bank shooting at a home in kibbutz Meirav in the Gilboa mountains (where the Israelite king Shaul and his sons died 3,000 years ago), the house was damaged, but no person was hurt. This kibbutz was attacked several times along 2023. The second was in the city of Shchem (you might know it as Nablus, the Arab mispronunciation of the Greek word 'Neapolis,' because Arabic doesn't have the sound 'p'), I'm attaching the pic of the gun and knife which were found on the terrorist after he was neutralized. I found reports about them on two Israeli websites (Ha'aretz and Now14), but both are in Hebrew. The latter also mentions a rock throwing terror attack earlier today, against the car of a woman named Rachel Yaniv. Her brothers, Halel and Yagel Yaniv, were murdered by Palestinian terrorists almost a year ago.
We got the info today on an Iranian attempt on the lives of Jewish leaders in Stockholm, that was stopped in 2021. These terrorists, believed to be linked to the IRGC, infiltrated Sweden under the guise of Afghan refugees, and were deported (rather than put on trial) in 2022. This is a small reminder that the Islamist axis led by Iran, and which includes the terrorist organizations it funds (including Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis), as well as countries that chose to align themselves with Iran against the west, such as Qatar, is not anti-Zionist, it IS antisemitic.
In an Israeli TV interview conducted in Arabic, an Israeli journalist asked the right hand man of Palestinian Authority's president Mahmoud Abbas, whether he's willing to denounce the Oct 7 massacre. He didn't. Instead, he insisted that the occupation is the source of all this violence (even though terrorist attacks against Jews in Israel by Arabs predate both the war in 1967, which used to be defined as the start of "the occupation," and the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948), and that as long as the occupation continues, so will such acts [as the Oct 7 massacre].
As part of the campaign against the antisemitism and bias at the BBC, an employee who called the Jews Nazis, and denied the Holocaust, has finally been fired.
youtube
Israel's most popular sketch comedy show decided to tackle UNRWA with this funny short vid:
In the segment where the UNRWA teacher shows how he teaches biology, history and English using Hitler's Mein Kampf, on the left side of the wall behind the "teacher" you can see the lyrics of a song titled Fedayeen (a term used for Egypt-funded Palestinian terrorists who attacked Israelis in the 1950's), and the pics of two Hamas leaders who are heading the war in Gaza now, Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Deif ('deif' is a nickname, his real name is Mohammed al-Masri, a last name that literally means "the Egyptian," so guess where his family is originally from).
Jewish singer Montana Tucker proved she's the bravest artist from among countless performers who attended the biggest American entertainment award shows recently, as she wore an enlarged version of the yellow ribbon to bring the Israeli hostages back home to the Grammys. She didn't just speak up for her people, she made sure everyone would hear her. She's been regularly speaking up for Israelis and Jews since Oct 7.
The ceremony also included a nice gesture to the over 400 people in Israel who were either murdered at or kidnapped from the Nova music festival on Oct 7. Taylor Swift broke yet another music industry record, so this is a good time to remind everyone that there are several Hamas leaders who are each individually richer than her. It pays more to kill Jews, than to be one of the most successful musicians ever (her net worth is estimated at about 1 billion dollars).
This is 19 years old Idan Alexander.
His mom Yael recounted how cool he was in every given situation, and how proud his family was of him, when he told them that he intends to leave New Jersey and make Alyiah. Moving to Israel of course meant he'd have to serve in the army, too. On Oct 7, Yael got to talk to him, and hear that he has seen some horrible things already. She knew something was off, because unlike his usual behavior, he sounded stressed. Idan was kidnapped by Hamas, and it took 6 days before the family even learned whether he's alive or dead. He's been in captivity for 4 months now.

Just wondering if your super sleuthing skills can clear up if it was indeed possible for JK to be at this club with Tae. Comments have some saying it was impossible because he had covid. Do we know when it was filmed? Was JK covid free and in the same zone when it was filmed?
https://x.com/AzraelTks/status/1831919134583746683?t=0_0S9147E_wiCDbTclHRBQ&s=19
Ok I think this will be harder because I only logged 2023 comings and goings đ
This is the video in question;
What information do we have?
đșIt's a club in Las Vegas.
đ« Jungkook flew to US for some "preparations" 27th March. Wonder if this was to do with quarantining.
đ« Rest of BTS flew for PTD in Las Vegas and Grammy Awards on 28th March 2022 without JHope. (JHope posted himself leaving for LV on 2nd April 2022 and himself arriving in the daytime.)
đ· Bighit announced JK had been cleared to leave quarantine on 2nd April 2022 and was okayed to perform at Grammys.
đ» Tae posted that club video on the morning of 2nd April 2022 but the video seems to be from the night before. He was not in attendance with Yoongi, RM and Jimin at Silk Sonic on the 1st (as per Bruno Mars insta) and people online were laughing that he had gone to the jazz club instead of Silk Sonic.
đ· On 2nd April, Bighit announces JK can go out after a negative covid test and JK instagrams that he "can go out!" and "photosynthesize"! Aww.
đ¶ Hobi then arrived on 2nd and attended Silk Sonic that night with Tae and JK.
đ They all attended Grammys on 3rd April.
đ«Ž So... As J-Hope arrived on the 2nd, Jin was recovering from finger surgery, RM, YG and JM were at Silk Sonic and Jungkook was in a hotel formally quarantining until 2nd, Tae seems to have been at the club by himself on the 1st.
đž But someone is filming him. Someone says his name. The patrons of the club are older and maybe less likely to know who they are. Could be Jin as the only person available or allowed out but it doesn't sound like him. Could be staff.
đ«Ž In conclusion? Formally? Officially? On the record? The date and COVID announcements suggest it's not Jungkook with him. He was in the same city but not formally COVID free.

Hey! Hope everythingâs going good! Was thinking if bandmember did anything like the vanity fair Billie eilish videos when they watch back all those interviews. Would love to see how far our girl has come
YN YLN: Same Interview, The Sixth Year | Vanity Fair
A/N: Christmas break is coming up so been busy but I also have some stuff coming out soon for your lovies! đ
SINCE 2010 masterlist
âYear six, baby,â YN smirks at the camera. âAlrightââ She pulls on the tops of her pink sheer opera gloves that match her pink corset before clapping her hands together. ââLetâs do this. âEllo, mâname is YN YLN. Todayâs date is October 18, 2022.â
How old are you?
âIâm 23 years old.â
âIâm 24.â
â25.â
â26.â
â27.â
âMâ28 years old,â YN kisses her teeth. âMâpushing 30, mate.â
How many followers do you have on Instagram?
âI have 573K followers on Instagram.â
â8.7M.â
â60.9M.â
â94.8M.â
â106M.â
âI currently have 287 million followers on Instagram. Dunno why I have so many; I make a lot of shit posts.â
What is your most liked picture on Instagram?
2017:
âMy most liked picture is one of me and the boys huddled up backstage after our last performance together with 654K likes.â
2019:
âIt is a picture of me in my home recording studio with about 5 million likes.â
2022:
âItâs currently one of me photo dumps on tour. The first picture on that one is a selfie with Harry taking a bite out of mâcheek. This one has 60,036,819 likes. Which is way too many likes if mâbeing honest.â
How are you feeling today?
2022:
âMâfeeling really good. I always look forward to these interviews. I try me best not to look at the old videos more than once so that I can best prepare meself for my current answers, yeh know? But I love that I get to do this every year. Thereâs a lot of like, time lapse compilation videos on meself on YouTube that show off how far Iâve come over the years but these I feel are the least cringy ones,â YN lets out a laugh.
Biggest thing to happen in your career?
2021:
âI won a Grammy for producer of the year?â YN furrows her eyebrows as she juts her chin out. âWhaâ is life? Thatâs insane. The highlight of me career. Hands down.â
2022:
âItâs still the highlight of me career. And I got nominated for it again for Grammys 2023. To even be nominated and be the only woman in this category a second year in a row is just super fookinâ wild. Um...I got seven other Grammy nominations for next year. Iâm also on tour againâa world tourâand itâs definitely me favorite thing to do aside from making the actual music. Harryâs new album that weâve been workinâ on for over the past two-ish years finally came out earlier this year. Iâm dropping me third album before the year is up. So many good things have happened this year that itâs honestly too long to list.â
How often do you get recognized in public?
2017:
âPretty often,â She nods her head, a chuckle pushing past her lips. âItâs pretty hard to just go out and grab a bite to eat without getting surrounded.â
2020:
âPublic? Who is she? I dunno her,â YN teases. âItâs pretty rare that Iâll go out nowadays and the masks only help so much with trying to be lowkey on the street on stuff like thaâ.â
2022:
âI have to admit, vâgotten a lot better at being discreet when going out in public,â She nods her head with a knowing smile. âI think I was just so used to not being âallowedâ to go outside or if I did I wouldnât enjoy meself because I knew I was gonna get recognized by paps. It was really hard for baby YN there because of how everything started. Everything I did was in the public eye and no mattaâ what I did, me fans always knew where I was at all times it seemed,â YN hums.Â
âI love me fans and I love the times when we happen to see each other on the street, we can have like a genuine conversation instead of shoving yeh phone in me face and putting yeh hands on me without me permission. Iâve had the most amazing conversations with fans like thaâ those moments are super special to me.
But in all honesty, they need to get hired by the FBI or somethinâ. Knowinâ where mâgonna be before I even do,â She huffs out a chuckle.
Whatâs most important to you right now?
2020:
âThe relationships within me life. I think this year has really made me recognize that. Whether those relationships are with me mum, me boyfriend, me tour team, me dancers, the fansâtheyâre all super important to me. Makinâ sure that weâre all safe and healthyâmentally and physicallyânow more than ever.â
  2022:
âAll of which are still very important to me. I think vâalso learned to stay in touch with me emotions. I think in an industry like this, it can be very easy to just put on a mask or passively go through events to maintain an image. If Iâm doing somethingâwether it be somethinâ major or not, I want to allow mâself to be in the moment.
I did a show recently in Austin and...â The crease between her eyebrows disappear and smile etches itself on her lips at the memory, âI was singing POV and I just stopped singing and the crowd took over. I quite literally just stood there, took out me earpieces and just listened to a stadium full of people sing my song back to me. It made me feel so...it made me feel really good, really happy.â
Do you feel pressure?
2017:
âI do yeah,â YN nods with a sincere furrow of her eyebrows. âBut I have been feeling pressure for the majority of my career so Iâm mostly used to it by now; It doesn't bother me as much anymore.â
2022:
âOf my fookinâ word,â She throws her head back. âI canât evenâlike even the way I spoke, man. Can yeh hear that? Like, I was still in the mindset of having to change the way I talk, tweak me accent and act all prim and proper,â YN points a finger into her mouth as she sticks out her tongue.
âAnd what a lie. Like of course that pressure bothered me still! I was fresh into the hiatus, just dropped me first solo album, about to do a world tour by meself for the first time. I was dealinâ with so much that I remember the pressure of everything was just...it felt that I was gonna be squished into a pancake. Being in the band and being as big as we were, there was an immense amount of pressure for everything to keep going well; everything seemed like it had to get bigger and bigger and if I didnât live up to that standard as a solo artist, it was the end of the world to me.â
âI do still feel some pressure but definitely not to that extent anymore. Itâs more of like, a good pressure, Iâd say. It keeps me from resting on me laurels and it makes me continue to work hard to improve meself. Like, just because I won an award for produce of the year doesnât mean that mâgonna let it get to me head and just not work to better meself in that craft.Â
But I have to admit that a lot of that pressure has been lifted off of me from me fans. Theyâve just continued to give me their unconditional love and supportâwhether it be for a year, 2 years, 12 yearsâmâjust super grateful that they just allow me to be me, flaws and all.â
What did you eat today?
2020:
âI ate some grilled chickenâthat I made all by myselfâwith a side of some beans,â YN giggles as she knows by now that the fans have been having a laugh about her boyfriendâs baked beans comment over interviews in quarantine.
2021:
âI had a chicken caesar salad bowl that I probably put way too much dressing on to be considered healthy anymore,â She chuckles, playing with the chunky chain sitting on her collarbones.
2022:
âI actually had an amazing chicken wrap this morning. Just the right amount of protein and yumminess,â She pats her tummy with a content smile. âYeh girl likes chicken, what can I say?â
Are you aware of people when you're playing?
2019:
âI think so yeah. Itâs crazy because for me, itâs scarier to play in front of 6 people than 60 thousand people. But on the other hand, the noisiness of big crowds is super calming to me. I canât really explain how. Like right before mâgonna go on stage, I like to take out me ear-pieces and just listen to them scream...which now makes me sound like a serial killer of summâwat,â YNâs shoulders bunch up to her ears as she giggles.
2022:
âI would say that mâmore aware of the audience members now more than I ever have before. This current tour that mâon is probably the funnest tour so far and itâs really because of the fans. When mâon stage and when Iâm performing, I make sure to look at the people in the audience, yeh know? Like, I can still remember when the band did our first stadium tour, I honestly couldnât see anything; they were all just blurbed together.Â
But with this tour, I make sure to take the time during the show to talk with fans. And I make an effort to sing to them and look at them dancing in the pit, the outfits they recreate, the way some of them are just closing their eyes and just being in the moment. As a musician, to see people come to me show and to see how they create this environment where everyone can have fun and let loose and just have a good time is just super amazinâ. Itâs a really indescribable feeling.â
Are you more confident this year compared to last year?
2018:
âFrom last year to now? 100%,â She answers with ease, leaning back into her seat. âI think this is the most confident Iâve ever felt, I think. Mânot too worried about what people are sayinâ about me because letâs face it, they are always saying something. So if yeh like me, cool. If yeh donât, cool.â
2022:
âSheâs not wrong. 2018 YNâs ego was pretty up there. Granted, me ego is still growing and sensitive soââ YN shamelessly shrugs and puts her hands up in defense. ââTake thaâ as you will. But I definitely feel more confident and secure in who I am as a person and as an artist. When the boys and I went our separate ways musically, I had a hard time sort of, figuring out what I like and the kind of music I wanted to make for meself. Even the way I thought about fashion, I knew people saw me in skirts and things like that but I remember entertaining the idea of if I wanted to continue that as a security blanket of sorts.Â
When I was in the band, I took things with a grain of salt and mâvery happy that Iâve kept that with me.âÂ
Biggest rumor about you?
2017:
âThat Iâve slept with each of the 1D boys,â YN lets out a nervous laugh. âWhich is gross because theyâre all like my brothers.â
2018:
âWhere do I even begin?â YN blows out a raspberry. âIâve been gettinâ this one for literally years now but that mâdating my old bandmate, Harryâwhich is getting really old at this point,â She scrunches up her nose with a roll of her eyes.
2022:
YN bursts out laughing as she watches her old self answer, knowing full well that during that time period she was in the midst of her on-and-off relationship with Harry.Â
She tilts her head to the side with a quick raise of her eyebrows, âI mean, sheâs not wrong. Vâbeen getting that question/comment asked since we were on the XFactor. And believe it or not, I still get asked that question. I just answer it differently now,â She cheekily brings her shoulder to her chin.
What do you hate being asked?
2018:
âThat. The âwho are you dating?â question. For a long time, I just had to suck it up and just answer the question but I donât have to answer if I donât want to, yâknow? Also, Iâm my own person,â She begins to list things off of her fingers, âIâm not someoneâs arm candy, mânot so-and-soâs new girl. Iâm YN YLN and if all you ask me is if Iâm dating anyone rather than me music, you donât deserve my time.â
2022:
YN drops her jaw and the corners of her lips tug up in a smile.
âA feisty little thing she is,â She chuckles. âBut no truer words have ever escaped me mouth. Sheâs right, and I still stand by that. 100%. My career is not based around a guy or who mâdating. Thatâs not to say I hate talking about HarryâI love to talk about him but donât make it the whole point of the interview, yeh know?â
Craziest fan moment?
2021:
âMe first show back on tour after being held back in 2020 was really heartwarming. It a stadium showânot intimidating at all for me first show backââ YN sarcastically comments. ââso there were three levels of seating: the pit, the middle section, and then the top. While I was singing, the audience did a fan project where on the top section held up lights to read welcome back, and then the middle said we missed you, and the pit held up pieces of paper saying we love you. Mânot even gonna lie, I was bawlinâ me eyes out. Like, just thinking of the amount of work that went into that...â She shakes her head in disbelief.Â
2022:
âI did a show last week in LA and at the barricade, I saw this lineup of these 5 girls wearing my current and past tour outfits. I have seen some really good recreation of me fits before and it was honestly like a copy and paste, I was so shocked. After talking with them for a bitânow I donât ever do thisâbut I invited them to come up on stage with me,â YN laughs.Â
âI suggested we ditch the choreography for Kiss Me More but they insisted they knew it and sure enough,â YN throws her hands with another laugh. âI almost hired them on the spot!â
Do you have a boyfriend?
2017:
âUm, no. I do not have a boyfriend. Iâm just really focused on my music at the moment. Thatâs my boyfriend,â She lets out a chuckle.
2020:
YN playfully rolls her eyes and throws her hands up, âWell Iâd be the biggest liar in the world if I said no.â
She huffs out a giggle as she refers to the entire world finding out about her secret relationship with Harry on New Years Eve of that year.
2021:
âI do have a boyfriend,â She smirks at the camera with a shrug of her shoulder, leaving it at that.
2022:
YN takes a second longer to answer this question and stares at the laptop screen with a fond smile. She technically doesnât have a boyfriend anymore, but will she let them know that? Nope.
âWell, youâd all be happy to know that Harry and I are still very much together. Still got that boy locked down, ladies,â She playfully winks at the camera with a click of her tongue.Â
What makes you happy in a relationship?
2022:
âI like quality time. From staying inside 24/7 in 2020 to easing back into my busy schedule made H and I realize that it was important to set some time aside for ourselves, just the two of us. Like, we donât even have to be talking just as long as weâre together during the business of it all. And...â A smirk grows on her lips, âOne of me love languages is physical touch. It definitely wasn't on the list before so you can probably guess who made me this way but yeah. And music, of course, thatâs me main form of love language. Whether weâre listening to good music, making it, singing itâanything to do with it mâin love.â
Describe your style in 3 words.
2017:
âFiguring it out.â
2018:
âNo more skirts,â The 24-year-old rolls her eyes.
2019:
âWhatever is comfy,â She laughs as she wraps her light green cardigan tighter over herself.
2020:
âTrying new things.â
2021:
âTrousers and blazers.â
2022:
She tilts her head as she bites her lip, looking up as she thinks about how to compactly frame her style now. As she says the next three words, she holds up her hand to count it off on her fingers, âPretty in pink. And 2018 YN was a lie. I still fancy a skirt every now and then.â
Biggest thing youâre struggling with?
2019:
âI think, just being honest with meself in terms of how I feel. I think I struggle a lot with allowing meself to feel the way I feel about certain things,â Or about a certain someone. âAnd that it's okay to feel those things. I know, super detailed,â She chuckles.
2022:
âYeah, 2019 YN was certainly going through some personal issues. Sâcrazy to look back at these videos and remember whaâ I was feelinâ during that time. Sâpretty crazy. I can say that vâgrown immensely from that time of my life which is very comforting to know. Itâs still hard for me, donât get me wrong, but allowing myself to feel things like love or sadness or happiness is something that Iâm subconsciously reminding myself to do.Â
I think the biggest thing that mâstuggling now with is to have check ins with meself. Itâs safe to say that mâback to my busy, hectic, never-ending schedule so I want to take a breather every now and then. It can be a whole day, a whole 20 minutes, just a pause to check in with my mind, me body, me spirt to make sure mâokay and then be off to a career that I love very dearly.â
What advice would you give your future self?
2017:
âHave some fun and enjoy this new chapter that youâre venturing onto,â She nods with a smile.
2019:
âI would say to allow yourself to feel uncomfortable. Step out of your comfort zone and take that leap of faith.â
2022:
âWhat a genetic piece of advice for that first year, eh?â YN chuckles with a smirk, âEnjoy this new chapter you're venturing onto like yeh can hear how professional I wanted to sound,â She playfully rolls her eyes with a sigh. âI would say that 2019 YNâs advice is a good one though. Itâs a good reminder to not play things safe all the time. As a narcissist, I want everything to be perfect, especially me music, so to be in the studio and not fall back to me old habits of what I think sounds good, try something different, yeh know? I like that a lot, actually.â
This is my mum...
2017:
âEveryone, say hello to Penny,â YN proudly presents as her stepmum comes up to her side, placing a hand on the back of her chair as she waves at the camera.
ââEllo, lovelies,â Penny beams.
2018:
âPenny!â YN smiles brightly. When she wiggles her fingers towards her stepmum the sound of her rings clinking together can be heard.
When Penny walks up to her stepdaughterâs side, she puts her hands on top of YNâs red leather jacket to give her shoulders a squeeze.
âHi baby,â Her stepmum gives a warm smile and gently presses her chin to YNâs temple.
2019:
Penny tucks her long, black hair behind her ears before wrapping her arms around her stepdaughterâs shoulders.Â
âI love you, my baby,â She says into her hair before planting a kiss on her head.
âI love youuu so much,â YN sings as she holds onto her stepmumâs forearms over her chest.
2020:
âYâalready know what time it is,â YN dances in her seat, her arms already extended out by her side. She lets out a laugh as she watches Penny shimmy her way to her stepdaughterâs side. The tight high waisted jeans show off her curvy, fit figure and a mask covers the lower half of her face.
âItâs Penny time,â Her stepmum throws finger guns at the camera.
2021:
âCome over âere, mum,â YN nods her head over to Penny. Once sheâs close enough, she takes a hold of her stepmumâs hand and pulls her over for her to sit on her lap, wrapping her arms over her torso, âLove you.â
âI love you more, baby,â Penny smiles as she leans her head back to rest beside YNâs.Â
2022:
âThis is me mumma,â YN smiles warmly before cooing out a chuckle. âWhaâ happened?â She questions when she sees Penny walk over to her side with glossy eyes.
âSorry, mâsorry,â She chuckles, dabbing her under eyes with the sides of her index fingers. âSâjust really fookinâ cool to see how far youâve come. Like look at herââ Penny points to the laptop screen that has 2017 YN on display. ââme lilâ baby.â
âMum!â YN laughs when Penny wraps her arms around her daughterâs head and pulls it to her chest.

How Sondheim and Burnett Got Darren Criss to Provincetown
Provincetown hasnât been compared to The Godfather or Star Wars very often, but those are the examples actor and singer Darren Criss names in acknowledging that his July 21 town hall appearance will be his first visit here.
âProvincetown is like that movie that you havenât seen but you donât want your friends to know you havenât seen, so you donât incur their wrath and ridicule and disbelief,â he says, noting that several of his good pals visit often. âI donât bring up that I havenât been there because my friends will give me crap. I havenât avoided it â Iâve really wanted to go. Finally, the stars aligned quite nicely.â
Maybe the stars had a little help from Carol Burnett.
Host and accompanist John McDaniel, a Grammy and Emmy award-winning musician, says he invited Criss to be part of his summer Broadway series here after Criss performed on 2023âs Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Love + Laughter TV birthday special. McDaniel was the music director.
Crissâs best-known roles are his breakout portrayal of Blaine for five seasons (2010 to 2015) on Glee in a milestone-for-mainstream-TV gay romance with Chris Colferâs Kurt, and his 2018 Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning turn as spree killer Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. (Both roles came thanks to producer and Provincetown part-timer Ryan Murphy.)
In addition to acting and singing â including Gleeâs âTeenage Dreamâ cover that climbed the Billboard charts â Criss is a songwriter. He first won notice for co-writing and starring in 2009âs A Very Potter Musical parody for the Chicago-based StarKid Productions, which he co-founded. Crissâs A Very Darren Crissmas generated national holiday tours.
Shortly after Criss wrote the opening number for the 2022 Tony Awards, his friend Paul Miller, director of the Burnett tribute, asked him to refashion Stephen Sondheimâs âSide by Sideâ from Company into an homage to Burnettâs famous duets with celebrity guest stars.
In what he called âone of the coolest things Iâve ever gotten to be a part of,â Criss performed âBurnettâs Duetsâ for the star-studded birthday-party special with Broadwayâs Sutton Foster. That came after he meticulously dissected Sondheimâs music to fit new lyrics and fine-tuned the arrangement with McDaniel.
âWhen I was doing this,â Criss says, âin my mind, I was going, âWhat would the ghost of Sondheim be OK with?â â
More Broadway music will be on Crissâs mind in Provincetown for what he says will be an unusual program because it likely wonât include original work or him playing guitar or piano; McDaniel will accompany him. Criss prides himself on not performing the same live show twice and plans to include Broadway songs heâs not yet sung in public.
That said, he recognizes fans might want to hear something connected to his own Broadway star turns. Those include â besides the nonmusical American Buffalo in 2022 â How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2012 and 2015âs Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Plus, earlier this year, Criss starred in off-Broadwayâs Little Shop of Horrors.
In September, heâll originate a Broadway role for the first time, headlining Will Aronson and Hue Parkâs musical Maybe Happy Ending. Criss plays an outdated, retired robot in futuristic Seoul who explores the nature of love with another retired robot (Helen J. Shen). To try to help boost its U.S. profile, Criss is also a producer of the musical, which has been a hit in Korea, China, and Japan. Its Broadway debut will be directed by Michael Arden (2023 Tony Award for Parade, Spring Awakening), a longtime Criss friend who directed the English-language debut in 2020 in Atlanta.
Criss is excited but nervous about the piece; he says itâs intimate and epic at once. âThereâs an excitement about the uniqueness and specialness of this show that Iâve never encountered before,â he says. âSo thatâs either going to crash and burn and blow up in our faces or catch on. I donât know, but the prospect is very thrilling.â
Criss, who is straight, made headlines this spring for comments at a Chicago expo about being âculturally queerâ because of his admiration for the LGBTQ community. âThe things in my life that I have tried to emulate, learn from, and be inspired by are 100 percent queer,â he said then, later adding that âit was in queer communities that Iâve found people that I idolize, that I want to learn something from.â
âThat had to be the slowest news day ever,â Criss says about his comments getting attention â especially because heâs talked many times before about similar things, including how much it meant to be part of Gleeâs Blaine-Kurt relationship story.
Beyond Provincetown and Broadway, in August Crissâs voice will be heard in an unusual spot: on season 10 of Netflixâs Gabbyâs Dollhouse, a childrenâs show, as the new Marty the Party Cat, magical host of the Party Room. Itâs a voice role Criss says was planned long before his two-year-old daughter and seven-week-old son were born to him and his wife.
Marty is described by Netflix as a lovable, âexuberant goofballâ who has a big heart and the ability to laugh at himself.
âHeâs a fun guy,â Criss says. âIâm aspirationally Marty the Party Cat.â

Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity 1996
"Virtual Insanity" is a song by British funk band Jamiroquai, released on 19 August 1996 as the second single from their third studio album, Travelling Without Moving. The song interpolates parts of Jocelyn Brown's 1984 post-disco hit "Somebody Else's Guy". "Virtual Insanity" was a number-one hit in Iceland and reached number three on the UK Singles Chart, as well as becoming a top-10 hit in Finland, Ireland, and Italy, the song also climbed to number 38 on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart upon the single's release in the US in 1997. The song also earned the band a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group. Thematically, the lyrics are concerned with issues like overpopulation, human genetic enhancement, eugenics and ecological collapse. In the beginning of the song's album version, a sound that is sampled from the 1979 sci-fi horror film Alien appears. It is the sound sequence when the S.O.S. signal appears on the screens of the spaceship Nostromo at the start of the film. The music video for "Virtual Insanity" was directed by English filmmaker, director, and screenwriter Jonathan Glazer. At the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards it won 4 out of 10 nominations; Breakthrough Video, Video of the Year, Best Visual Effects and Best Cinematography. In 2006, it was voted 9th by MTV viewers in a poll on music videos that 'broke the rules'. In addition to heavy rotation on MTV and other music television networks, the video for "Virtual Insanity" has amassed more than 250 million views on YouTube as of August 2023 and has seen renewed attention on TikTok, gaining millions more views through various memes and remixes. It has been parodied, referenced, remixed or imitated in countless music videos, television shows, and internet memes. On a personal note, I love each and every one of you who tagged the poll as "#rearranging furniture" in your reblogs! đđ "Virtual Insanity" received a total of 80,7% yes votes!

I get the basic theories for tswift flop. But as someone who genuinely really liked Lover and Folklore and liked Evermore (if I remember correctly you did too, with perhaps additional fondness for Evermore), do you have a theory for how she dredged up that upswing before crashing so so hard to her lowest point?
I lovedddddddd lover. I didnât even listen to it in the age of #hype I fully heard lover for the first time and was streaming it like it was my job in 2023. Folklore I like evermore I couldnât name a single song from but itâs good I guess. My theory. I think lover and reputation are actually pretty similar quality wise. You show me reputation and say and then she made LOVER. and I go. Yeah okay. Some solid goofy chunks on both which is fine yeah Taylor letâs get goofy. Some solid bangers on both. Some solid yearners on both. I think. I think a lot about how her reaction to rep losing a Grammy was to immediately start writing a new album. Lover a direct response to reputation not getting rewarded. She was trying to outdo herself. And. I think. My theory. Is that a switch flipped at Some Point post folkevermore. Because people liked those I think Iâm pretty sure people were giving those good scores. And instead of trying to Make A Better Record. She has since been trying to Make A Relevant Record. I think something happened to her and she got scared about failing at Being The Best Artist but said but by god can I churn out stuff that will make me the Most Popular Talked About Culturally Relevant Artist. I fully think sheâs switched metrics because sheâs thinking in terms of cultural capital. Idk WHY. because sheâs doing fuck all with it except complain about it and ink nfl sponsorships to get More Obscene Amount Of Money. But I donât think sheâs approaching albums as art anymore I think sheâs just kind of putting in the effort of a little hobby in terms of songwriting / performance. Because I do think she is experiencing more and more worry about being toppled, especially because she is, in terms of popularity, The Top right now. And she doesnât feel confident in her ability to maintain The Top through quality bc her previous attempts at quality did not do as well as she wanted. Thereâs also the fact that quality requires time Away from the spotlight where you become less relevant. For an album that might not even do well. I think also maybe her lesson from red rerelease doing well was not âpeople like red because itâs good songs because I spent lots of time on itâ but âoh people like 31 song albumsâ. So .

I think the apology she wanted from Joe was for him choosing a movie above the opening night of her biggest tour and not jetting back for the opening night. From Taylor's behaviour we can see it's super important for the boyfriend to be there for her tour.
Obviously he was filming and it would have been disruptive for him to do this but I can see her expecting this (also given Joe was away working during other important events for her like Red TV release or the Graduation thingy)
Her remark to Travis saying "jetlag is a choice " and flying around the world for the Superbowl after the last night in Tokyo cements this. She has been dropping quotes about how important it is for the partner to show up and support her in interviews & even in pressers about the Travis relationship
well now that she has a partner who is always there for her important events, she should start focusing on him instead of trying to shade her ex at any given chance. she got what she wanted so why's she still fussing. also here's a list of all the important events that joe attended for her:
1. The jbb concert (her first performance after the cancellation era) he also jetted back from his movie set (the operation finale) to be there for Taylor. Jet lag was a choice back then too.
2. Several rep concerts including the opening night. He attended with his friends, family and co-stars.
3. The Prime concert where she couldnât stop looking at him.
4. CATS premiere
5. Vmas afterparty in 2023 (even when things were rough)
6. grammys afterparty 2023 (see he attended when he could)
7. golden globes 2020, as her plus one
8. nmes 2020, as her plus one
9. He couldnât be there at her graduation ceremony but he sent his whole family to support her. His mom was there for Taylor at atw premiere as well.
10. He also went to Paris during lover promo in 2019
11. Lover photoshoot + mv shooting set
These are all I can think of right now but i can confirm there are more events when he was there for her as a support system. During the span of six years he's been there for her from time to time. swifties like to paint him as a bad boyfriend when it's literally not true. I donât see Taylor's athlete boyfriend joining her promotional work events and if I brought it up swifties will say tk has his own job restrictions. But where is the same energy when it's Joe who couldnât attend her important events due to job restrictions as well? The tunnel vision of making Joe a villain and a bad boyfriend is so embarrassing, like they know it's not true. Also I hope taylor's very supportive boyfriend will keep up the same energy after six years (if he survives for that long lol)
