at some point (either SL or DF as I don't recall this stuff from BFA or older) wow added FF14 style raid/trial mechanics to the raids. doing Amir'drassil and like 'oh I know this, this is a soak!' the markers are a lot less obvious though, but big swirling circle people need to all stand in is pretty understandable.

do we think milie was at wrap? i cant see why not. even if you disagreed with the character arc, its an ensemble show so its not about personal actor coverage. i cant believe she'd un-associate herself with it when its not even done yet. promo etc are part of the job. and as for a party... unless i had major fallings out, i would go to a final celebration for any work event or graduation etc, even if i was ready to move on. one last hurrah?

MBB was apparently proven to be in NYC during the time of the wrap party. Not there. I clicked around and to be honest, did not do a deep dive, but it does seem she was in New York.

I think the girl moved on a long time ago and that's her prerogative and it is what it is at this point. Personal feelings about her aside, positive or negative, and whether it really matters in the end - but I think that season 5 was a passion project for most of the cast and for her it was closing out the contractual obligation of a job. That's the industry, sometimes. It's ok to admit the possible reality.

elyase shuffling events around did some interesting things to the yoga chapter

i can see why they did that, because the next chapter coming up is the start of a longer than usual arc, after that is the beach episode, and the other episodes are also longer arcs + involve characters they didn't include here

and like, since one of the characters (the one from the aforementioned longer arc) in the yoga chapter isn't there it makes sense to just go "fuck it, we'll include the whole cast just to give everyone a bit more service" tbh

i assume the next few episodes are gonna be like

maybe another general episode, then longer aunt arc for 1-2 eps and then beach episode for another 1-2 to cap it off? which isn't a bad choice!

is sad that elf aunt being there means the best two panels from the yoga chapter weren't adapted, since they involved her too much, but alas
