Members Supporting Jimin and his phenomenal success of MUSE
I will equivocally state that I am a jikooker with Jimin as my bias, but I support ALL members with my money (buying albums, digital downloads, merch, fan club, concerts) and time (streaming, blogs, IG, TikTok).
But, i don’t understand for the life of me the antics of one member. This is Jimin’s promotional weekend and there has not been one ounce of support for Jimin and his album release from Taehyung. Yet most of the other members (Suga does not promote while enlisted) have congratulated JM and shown their support. I expect to see a tiktok post from JK soon, as he did for Hobi and RM.
Tumblr media
But why has Tae not supported this album release of Muse just like he never supported FACE? What he does instead is release a promo for his photo book during Jimin’s promo period. Actually, i was ok with it, because it was not music, but a personal photo project I saw as a gift to Army on Army day.
But today, in the middle of tracking and charting for Jimin, along with the trailer for JM/JK travel show releasing later today, he decides to post a photo of him and JK in Hawaii stating: JK will come quickly because he asked him to and missed him. What was the point of this post? Why is he feeding the taekookers who have been dragging Jimin relentlessly since the announcement of the travel show and the drop of his album. A large group of people who are actively working against Jimin by supporting other acts just to try and hold back Jimin. Mind you, JK is not getting the hate.
I am not saying a member has to publish on social media to show support, but he did for other members and never for Jimin. That whole show where they hugged each other on Jin’s discharge was very touching, but now feels so disingenuous.
Help me understand what is going on and why this seems to continually happen. Last year, JK would come back and provide context to everything that Tae said that put taekookers on a roll. Like Jimin, he has pretty much been absent from social medial and can’t do lives.
Do I believe, they are all friends? Yes! But are they all as close to each equally, obviously not and that is understandable. Tae is closer to his wooga squad than he is most of the members of BTS. But even taking the whole shipping aspect away from jikook, i would still feel Tae’s actions should be questioned, simply because what he does over and over again is to rile up the toxic members of his fanbase and taekookers to hate on Jimin. We saw how bad it got last year with the death threats and reports to the Ministry of Defense from JK solos and taekookers. It is bad now with Jimin’s album release and travel show with JK.
What does it take to be supportive like the other members or just simply be quiet this weekend?
This is not a hate post towards Tae, but a post calling out a behavior that has negative connotations towards Jimin, his supposed soulmate.
Bottom Line - STREAM, STREAM, STREAM FOR JIMIN LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!!

SPOILERS FOR THE NEW DHMIS WEBSITE(?
Ok ok so for those who don't know, the dhmis channel posted a bizarre video announcing a website for the series with some content. Some struggle to get in, but luckily, I managed to get in so I'll show you what's in there
Before I start: this is how it looks. When I go through mobile, it most definitely looks different from PC.
Alright, first off, there's the home page
Tumblr media
Keep this in mind. It'll pretty much be our guide. Now, if I click on the eye icon, it leads me me to this:
Tumblr media
It's a place where you can see the eps (along with some bonus content)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sadly, I can't watch this because, you might wonder about the lock, well, if I click on an ep, I'll get this message:
Tumblr media
I don't have any money aaaaaaaaaaaa
Ok back to the home page, if I click on the shirt icon, it'll lead me here:
Tumblr media
It shows merch which again, I can't buy :(
The merch varies from new shirts, hats, posters, and pins. They all look really cool
Last but not least, if we go back to the home page and click on the brain icon, it'll lead here:
Tumblr media
It's a bunch of pictures showing the BTS of the show. Some images pop up while others dissappear.
ALSO, eventually a door image will appear and if you manage to click on it it'll lead to a page full of fan content and fanart, I can't show the photo cuz I've passed the image limit but let's say all type of content appears there
All type of content
That's it for now, I'm shaking as I'm writing this AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

"people are mad that that artists wanted to be paid" no, people are mad that they HAD places of revenue they could have invested in and instead decided to fuck everyone over and piss off their fans who have been there since the buzzfeed days
(+ the only reason they're now saying they're not pulling content is BECAUSE of the backlash, and this isn't even going into how any growth is now impossible if it's their own platform, they are NOT big enough or produce enough content for this)
like, apparently they have a patreon? have never heard of it. absolutely no advertisement on it, when PLENTY of people would subscribe if they plugged it at ALL (like, fans love bts content, early episodes, extra/uncut stuff, having their names be credited at the end, a discord, etc) but I've never heard of it, and according to people who have subscribed, they didn't find it worth their money (not an ideal baseline for their own service)
they have merch? make more and better quality/nicer designs (or just fun quotes! so much of my stuff from their buzzfeed days is just shane quotes, but the only stuff I've bought from them now is their jackets and the professor doll, nothing else. I've looked at their catalog, it's ugly. put a funny quote on a shirt and I'll buy it guys, it's not that hard)
a youtube membership for similar stuff to the patreon, yt livestreams, USE THE PLATFORM YOURE ON MAYBE???
explicitly asking fans to turn off adblock for them on their videos
but, like, I am absolutely not paying $60 just for like 1-2 shows that only get like 4 episodes a year. they do NOT have the content for this on their own (and why tf do they have 25+ employees???? bro what) - not to mention, the inaccessibility the new platform and ability for non US based fans to even subscribe
people watch bc of the dynamic between Shane and Ryan, some of my favorite episodes are ones where we get the random text on screen- nothing fancy
tbh I get what they want but it's been my opinion that too much of their stuff that I watch has become a) formuliac and b) overproduced without much to show (imo mystery files comes to mind, it's Fine but I only enjoyed the banter vs all the unnecessary visuals, the same with ghost files)
I've seen people mention how expensive just the ghost hunting stuff is, and like yeah, maybe stop buying that big fancy brandname equipment without and instead ask for sponsors to advertise your stuff, all that stuff is nonsense anyway so it's not like you're lying about like betterhelp or something
and idk, maybe having a show where you apparently eat gold and caviar isn't the best if you're struggling with money (esp bc who watches it? not me)
what they need is someone who actually knows anything as their ceo, having less than half the staff they do, and investing in the avenues they already have with SOME pay walled content (not all), and maybe learn how to actually produce their shows without bleeding themselves dry bc the fans watch for THEM not the "production value"

sometimed it feels like japan, china and korea just... hate making money??
Like... why do you make it so fucking hard to buy stuff outside of your country?? I get it if it's like.. more niche merch like underground artists and stuff, they often won't really find an audiance outside of their homecountry, but like... when something is super popular globaly.. idk, maybe?? Try and sell some outside of the country???
This is absolutely NOOOOT a post directly directed at Hoyoverse and making it's merch fucking impossible to find online and me being really mad because I cannot for the life of me find how and where to buy the new HSR perfumes, specifically Aventurine's....... noooooo....... ahem....
But I often do face tgis issue with japanese and korean stuff, like.. trynna buy kpop albums is a hell, I always have to go through resellers on amazon and such,
If it's an older album, I just cannot get it at all, and lightsticks, other than BTS's they're impossible to find...
And like.. gods have I cried over not being able to find and order japanese merch..
I'm always glad when that worldshopping pop up comes up, cuz like, while it's gonna be 50$-75$ CAD more on my order, at least I'm getting my shit shipped...
But like fuck... espetially blue period.. it has such a big audiance outside of japan, yet, the collab merch is so hard to get.. I wasn't able to get shit from Burberry collab, converse collab nor the perfumes they released, and I wanted Hashida's so much.. :/
And figurines are the fucking worse..
It's always like do not order fakes!! They're made illegally!!
*proceeds to give zero ways to get them outside of japan* ... bruh.
Anyway.. I'm mad cuz after 7 years, I finished my Shawn Mendes perfume, and the two I've wanted (blue period & HSR) have both not had ways to be ordered outside of their homecountries... and if I wanted to rebuy my shawn mendes perfume, it was the 1st one when it released, so it'd be 150$ at least... so damn annoying... and me is frugal ✨️
The only way anyone is getting me to pay 150$+ for perfume is with fucking shipping and import fees...

we've gotten to a point where people polluted by the anti spirit are now even dogging on teens and women thirsting for male kpop idols.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. literally pea sized brain conversations. at the very least, extreme ignorance as to how the kpop industry makes its money.
Tumblr media
uhm....? what the actual fuck. be for real right now. "disgusting and just weird"? i have some really bad news for all these commenters...
Tumblr media
yes. yes they are. and that's, NEWS FLASH, COMPLETELY NORMAL. were any of these people ever teens?? having crushes on adult celebs is extremely common. and discovering their budding sexuality through these feelings is also VERY COMMON.
Tumblr media
when i was younger, i also read BTS smut. and?
it was mediocre quality writing, and bad characterisation most of the time, but i didn't know that, i just enjoyed my time with it.
young girls and grown women feeling sexual feelings and exploring them in fiction shouldn't be this taboo. it's normal. it's to be expected.
Tumblr media
"using them for their own greedy sexual fantasies"? at this point my eyes are falling out of my skull!
SEXUAL FANTASIES AREN'T GREEDY. putting sexual fantasies into harmless text format is NOT GREEDY. it's fucking normal. like, wtf do these people think about when they masturbate.
Tumblr media
....sooo, do these people never imagined anything sexual about anyone ever? are all beings in their sexual fantasies fictional with no references to real people? have they never fantasised about their crushes before?
and what does even "hard stan means liking a darker concept" mean! dark concepts are often the sensual ones, so you're supposed to like those but because of pure christian feelings and not because you're a human forming a parasocial relationship with a boyband which more often than not involves sexual feelings?
these people all need a serious wake up call. BTS will never know what's going on in your head, using them as puppets for sexual fantasies and gratification is perfectly normal.
it's even MORE NORMAL, because surprise surprise, the ENTIRE kpop industry is built on, profits off of, and actively encourages parasocial relationships and behaviour. the marketing goal for boy bands is to make a maximum of girls fall for their charms, through various means such as music, good looks, nice personalities, and other displays of character in all the variety shows and live-streams and other content they produce.
making girls thirst, is literally how they make their money. making girls fantasise, is literally how they make their money.
and forming a parasocial relationship founded on attraction, inevitably leads to sexual feelings partaking.
also, they know what they're doing. baepsae's choreography didn't get magically bestowed upon them by the heavens. a choreographer worked that out with the company, and did so with a purpose.
as such is the business model of the kpop industry. girls and women are supposed to fantasise. to catch feelings. to thirst. to imagine jungkook "railing them at 3am". it will make them go to concerts, buy merch, follow their socials, stream their music, buy albums, and finance the industry.
these virtue signalers are truly delusional if they think the kpop industry isn't MAKING BANK on exactly what they're calling out to be "creepy and disgusting".

CC do you think Barbatos is deathly obsessed with anything? Not the obvious stuff like tea or baking, but something silly that only the closest to him know about.
I have this thought because I've been listening to the Hamilton soundtrack all day long and I.LOVE.HAMILTON. I have all the merch, I have the vinyls, I watch it like every other day, etc... and I was like "Barbatos would totally have Hamilton memorized because I'd play it all day long." And then I was like "woah wait, what is Barbatos' Hamilton?"
So yeah I don't have any thoughts so I'm asking for yours bdosndkwnrk2
I have so many ideas about this all of a sudden lol.
At first I thought it'd be cute if he was really obsessed with a cozy mystery series. Like one that takes place in a bakery (there are a lot of those... I love them myself lol). I think he'd appreciate the inclusion of food references, but the main story is this dramatic murder mystery where some uniquely unqualified individual gets sucked in and has to solve it to save their brother's best friend's dog groomer from going to prison!
But then I was like, okay but he would really like dramatic and over-the-top kinda stories and characters because that's so different from how he is, right? So maybe he'd get obsessed with a romance series... and then I was like NO WAIT soap opera... or telenovela!! Like he was in the human world once and ended up watching one 'cause it was on and got so incredibly hooked.
AND THEN that led me into K-dramas 'cause I could just see him watching some of those cute romance K-dramas and getting all teary over them... and THEN I was like hang on. Barb would love K-pop I don't care what anybody says.
THOUGH that does remind me that we have the fact that Barbatos likes heavy metal in canon! So maybe he has a specific Devildom heavy metal band that he's obsessed with. Buys all their merch, goes to all their shows, keeps it all behind a special door in his room that no one knows about because his shrine to heavy metal is a SECRET to all!
MC knows they've fully gained his trust when he shows them his secret heavy metal shrine lkadsfkjlfjkf.
Anyway, people can have more than one obsession, I know I certainly do. So maybe it's a combination of these things! Or perhaps you'll think of other things that you think he'd like!
But personally, I just think it'd be really cute if he got super obsessed with something totally random from the human world. Like now I keep imagining Barb as a BTS stan lolol.

Taking a pause on NewJeans readings until who knows when
I'm not sure what's gotten into people, but some people seem particularly sensitive and almost obsessed with NewJeans. Some people can't seem to take the readings that I've done for NewJeans. They are what they are. They're not there to make NewJeans look bad or let others use the readings to say bad things about NewJeans.
If you don't like my readings, then simply stay away from the blog and go to other blogs that you enjoy or go buy NewJeans merch or watch some NewJeans.
There always seems to be a trend with people becoming almost obsessive/crazy for some groups. I remember that BTS phase on tumblr where there were so many people obsessing over BTS in an unhealthy way. Now it seems to be NewJeans (for a select few, some members of Stray Kids, some members of Enhypen, some members of NCT and so on.) I rarely get very strong/obsessive requests about non Korean celebrities - perhaps only a handful. For some reason the kpop obsession is very extreme to the point where the idols somehow cannot be said to have any flaw and the idol members are all BFFs. We're all human - we have our strengths and weaknesses. We have our good sides and our bad sides. Are you bffs with everyone in your group project or with your coworkers/boss?
Just because a kpop idol has "dark" fantasies or desires that doesn't make them necessarily evil. Just because a kpop idol may do d*ugs doesn't make them terrible people too. Some idols might have temper problems but doesn't mean they go out there and punch whomever they want. Just because a kpop idol lacks empathy or is more manipulative doesn't make them a terrible person. Perhaps they were born like that or some situation caused them to be this way or their past life has influences on them.
(Honestly when I do a lot of readings, I'm always trying to dig for anything that's positive with my visions etc. Like can I get something positive/good?)

Thoughts on ARMY and Consumerism
*Disclaimer: ARMY is used to describe all fans of BTS, despite contention about who should be allowed to use the term. This is critical of ARMY and HYBE. If you are sensitive to that criticism, you are forewarned.*
K-pop itself perpetuates a high level of consumerism with non-stop releases, numerous merch drops, multiple album copies, brand deals, and ambassadorships. Where BTS has been able to break many boundaries traditional K-pop sets, ARMY’s levels of consumerism has gotten unbelievably outrageous.
Just today, Jin was named ambassador of a jewelry company, with photos debuting him wearing the jewelry. One bracelet he wore in one photo got the attention of ARMY and within a few hours it sold out. But, that bracelet was $27,000 USD. This month, teasers of Despicable ME x BTS hinted that there may possibly be a collaboration or maybe a song on the soundtrack – only for it to be a merch popup?? And two mentions of BTS in the whole movie? Yet ARMYs are selling out BTSxMinions collab merch, for what? It was all ugly anyway and the minionifed members looked ridiculous, bordering disrespectful.
There are countless other examples: meaningless FESTA and RPWP merch, fundraising money to buy more albums to boost numbers, changing Twitter layouts for the merch releases.
Like any celebrity, BTS (the logo, the slogans, the BT21, the TinyTan) has turned into a brand, and have been for many years. But, inherently, as fans, we are not a fan of a brand. There may be ideological differences here in the way people are fans, but personally, I am here because I absolutely adore BTS’ music. I find them to be compelling, talented, unique artists creating and conveying beautiful, thoughtful messages through their music.
Of course, how is a group supposed to make money? They sell merchandise, albums, tickets to events and concerts. At some point though, enough is enough. Their messaging, artistry and dedication to their craft gets so muddled when all anyone ever wants to talk about is the new shiny thing HYBE has plastered their logo and faces onto. And more than half of ARMY buys into it.
It has a unique overlap with the spread of unofficial information and photos of the members. Since HYBE has primed ARMY to always be looking forward to the next thing they can get their hands on, especially in a “drought” of a hiatus (its not at this point), ARMY turns to member’s family accounts, Dispatch, media, and military websites just to get their fix of BTS. Their marketable attachments to their brand have turned inward to the members themselves, to the highest degree it has ever been.
If you speak out against the spread of unofficial content, some ARMY will scream at you to say “You don’t know how things work here, educate yourself, grow up, go back to Twitter.” To that I say, maybe the fandom should be reevaluating itself, like many ARMY already have. If we claim to love and support the members, why are we engaging with posts that are an invasion of privacy? Why are we allowing this level of normalization? Why should we be talking about family members that in ARMY’s relationship with BTS, have absolutely no involvement? Seeing the treatment of military pictures, press releases from unofficial sources, and updates is so disheartening, knowing that multiple members wished to go quietly and return to us as soon as possible (which is showing in their actions post-enlistment). Again, whether or not this is normalized does not matter, this is their time to be civilians. They can’t even have their privacy when they are legally out of their jobs as idols.
The manifestation of a perceived love and commitment to BTS as a member of ARMY has lead fans to be disillusioned with the people behind the brand. This is amplified tenfold in solo and (some) shipper spaces. BTS have built a relationship with their fans under the pretense of trust and respect for ten years. Every fan will hold a different ‘relationship’ to BTS, but tying their success to merch sales, streaming numbers, and album sales only pushes ARMY further into the cogs of consumerism. Focusing on every little update you can scour the internet to find, which turns out to be unethically sourced, pushes a fanbase without the moral structures ARMY have prided themselves on for years.
All of this piles on top of each other to reveal a fandom willing to silence ARMY who are using their fan platforms built on the radicalization that BTS has provoked in people to speak up for justice and humanity. When this issue of monetary focus in ARMY is discussed in the name of boycotting HYBE, people cannot even fathom the idea of pausing their spending on their favorite group, possibly for fear of missing out, sacrificing their fan involvement, or simply refusing to see the mission behind a boycott.
This leaves a fandom divided, hurt, and devastated in the wake of destruction from those who cannot see the value in BTS as humans and individuals first and foremost. I hope individuals reconsider what brought them to the fandom, what makes them stay in the fandom, and why they love the members. ARMY is not and should not be characterized by aesthetics and money, despite the current state of this fandom telling us otherwise.

GOSSIP AND RUMORS LEAD FANS BAFFLED ; KNOCKED LOOSE AUDIENCE WANTS FORMAL APOLOGY?
Rumors about Bryan and Poppy. Jimmy Kimmel Apology, and the theory on music
This is solely for entertainment purposes only, if you have any theories and or questions about whats happening, feel free to comment down below
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Hello! Welcome back to another tea rant.
Good morning! Good afternoon, and good evening!
Today it’s gonna be a little different than my usual routine.
We’re going to deep dive into this music industry, and how many artists today have marketing teams into getting fans to buy their music, albums, and much more.
And the tea about what’s been revolving around Jimmy Kimmel and the audience wanting a formal apology.
THE POPPY AND NOAH SITUATION
Of course, this long rant about people saying they’re “dating” or they’re not “dating” has been for a long while.
Ever since Noah asked Poppy about being in a collaboration, many fans speculate this duo is actually a thing.
Sounds like fans are getting confused.
Tumblr media
What more grabbed my attention is the third user who had a very interesting theory.
Tumblr media
PLANNED IN SECRECY? A Theory
In their post, they state that Noah and the band disappear for awhile, and when they come back either to drop a new photograph of Noah, or him showing off new merch, it seems to be all planned out.
I don’t know where to start, so let’s start out with the basics, how does the business actually work?
This theory led me to think and process what companies really want. Which is money. I think I’m going to break it down bit by bit into categories. Since this user is being specific.
CATEGORY 1 : LABELS
This is label marketing. The term used for music label industries, in which they want to sell items and sell products for bands
Such as Linkin Park, BabyMetal, Metallica, Knocked Loose, Bad Omens, BTS, anyone that has some type of contract with different music industries.
Now labels, they get you anything in the business. It’s their way to market off of your money for them to sell you what you want.
It’s not a bad thing actually, it’s been happening for decades. So it’s pretty normal for companies to do this.
Category 2: ADVERTISING
In this category, once they have a good understanding and both parties agree to run an advertising strategy or product they usually put it out on social media.
They can advertise a band, making collaborations with a person to help them out and find new audiences.
It’s their own way to market off and get money from their consumers.
Like for example how they did with Poppy and Bad Omens.
Poppy signed the contract with Sumerian for her new album “Negative Spaces”
This led Sumerian find different ways to advertise her in many articles, being photographed with Noah, and being photographed with the group to promote one of their songs.
I’m telling you now, please do not come after Sumerian Records, this is just how they do things and business. It’s normal for companies to do things like this. It’s their job.
With advertising, since each label manager has an employee their financing from, it’s a lot more easy to have them produce songs.
Category 3 : MANAGERS AND PR TEAMS
So as you might have guessed, each front person, has an individual label manager or management and what they call assistants PR teams.
So what do they do?
In short terms, they are responsible for everything, just like the band is responsible for gaining profits.
1. Booking Gigs
2. Negotiate contracts
3. Promote
4. Arrange schedules
5. Broker deals
6. Financial management
7. Advising bands on career decisions
8. Band scheduling
9. Booking and scheduling
10. Securing record deals
11. Attending a bands performance
12. Artist development
13. Branding
14. Career Development
15. Encouraging and supporting their bands
16. Network with other band managers
17. Record label representation
18. Working as hard as the band
If you haven’t seen the movie “American Satan”
In terms it’s like that movie, where a band is wanting a career path into the music business.
So why have managers?
That’s easy to say.
A band can’t do it alone. They need an anchor to support them. In this case management. Management can bring a band together to promote them.
For example, since Bad Omens is the new band and the most popular, my guess is that they signed with Sumerian Records for their talent.
See each label looks for talent or in terms “make the scene”
There’s a lot to explain here, from what I mean by this statement is that record labels look for talented musicians who in their eyes can become very successful in the long run.
As for PR management, their job is to solely focus on making sure they get their band visibility on various platforms. Like social media.
They are also responsible for scheduling interviews, make sure the frontman or lead singer gets a highlight of their performance, make sure they advertise their music. They’re responsible for scheduling tours.
Category 4 : MONEY INCOME
So this leads us to this theory this user mentioned.
Bands just don’t announce a new album or new merchandise until they have or have been set on how much they’re going to sell.
If it’s behind the scenes then i say it sure is dealt with secretly.
Money is a distribution. A lot of it comes from on how many people want to become rich. It’s a huge product among the United States.
In this case we could think of it as the higher ups.
This distribution is normal. It’s used for marketing, it’s used in jobs, it’s used in your day to day lives.
Money nowadays gets us everywhere. It gets us our groceries, it gets us monthly or weekly payments due to working regular jobs and eight hour shifts.
Well in huge companies, like music industries money is a huge deal. It’s a way of making money from advertising and selling products.
But that’s all I know so far.
This brings the theory into if it is actually all planned out
PLANNED OUT IN SECRECY
Tumblr media
The user above mentioned that it could potentially be planned out.
I mean planning out every little thing that the band agrees on doing could be possibly the next big thing.
If they want to profit off anything, they have the power to do so.
If Bad Omens doesn’t post for many days or weeks at a time, maybe they’re planning out something big.
But this also revolves around how many tour dates and schedules they have to attend. Now this is where it gets interesting because whether or not we know how this music industry works, it makes a good theory.
THEORY #1: The Band Profits off of what fans buy.
Bad Omens is a good example on this subject. It brought me back to what I delve down into the rabbit hole.
For instance, concerts.
In this particular case, from what I’ve heard from many people that surprised me was the way they profit money from selling tickets.
This can be a good tactic, especially if they want to get fans to buy tickets. It’s their way to make the fans happy by giving them the option to buy merch, buy vinyls, albums, and many more.
THEORY 2: THEY LURK
For instance, this is just an FYI we know that Noah doesn’t have socials, and deleted everything off the web.
Just like Matt Dierkes, Bryan, and Ryder, they have socials. But what do they use them for?
I think if Noah was aware of what is happening around social media, he might be the one behind the Bad Omens official social media.
Maybe, he sees everyone’s comments and posts. To where they might have seen every beef and every rant that each fan posted.
This leads to the theory they might be lurkers and peep at every little detail that comes right out of the social platform.
Maybe Ryder and Matt keep tabs on everything and monitor what fans want.
Could it just be coincidence or is it real?
In the past, we know Noah talked to fans and kept them in the loop for new music and new albums back in 2019.
But after he disappeared from social media, this leads to the theory that he is still on socials.
But we can’t know for sure.
This has lead to many deep fakes and fake Noah Sebastian accounts that led many people to believe they are talking to the real Noah.
If people say to you he’s a real person talking behind the screen, then it’s probably not the real Noah Sebastian. A lot of fans joke about it, but I think it’s just dumb trying to troll other fans that he’s real.
I think it’s highly annoying that this shit keeps happening.
So why do they lurk?
This brings back to the tea blogs on this app, that many people have conversations about. But since they’re just speculations, it’s not something to deeply worry about.
It’s completely normal for people who work with bands have social media. This is another way to get fans and get followers to interact with the band and their assistance.
Whether they lurk on social media, they have known about situations.
They look out for the good comments and bad ones.
This theory also applies to them planning things out for the long run and possibly plan ahead for the fans to enjoy.
This includes their merchandise on their official website, their albums, and more likely their music.
What the fans look for and what they want in specific items, etc.
A band isn’t just people playing drums, guitar, bass, and backing vocals and having a lead singer.
It is a business.
If we understand that what they look for is good then they’ll find a way to advertise it. Planning it out in secret.
I’m not against anyone but it sounds fairly smart for companies to do this.
MORE BUYS = MORE BUSINESS
quality over quantity.
MORE BUSINESS = MORE MONEY
So when it comes to their merchandise, they look for the best quality of products to sell. This includes them making them in a factory where they work with several artists and producers.
Since Bad Omens have been doing this for years, they’re the ones buying the most to get what the fans want.
This is where when they put out their merchandise, fans buy the items and Bad Omens profit from them.
Now that’s a good way to make business.
And no, they’re not using AI to produce these results.
People tend to manipulate others into thinking it is AI, just because they want to start drama.
In this case, they are definitely not using anything related to AI.
That’s why they have the best tattoo artist and comic book writer Davis Ryder.
I think a lot of people tend to forget that they have a tattoo artist in their band which is Nicholas Ruffilo and Davis Ryder, who is responsible for making these designs stand out than most.
I’m not too sure about Jolly. But he does play a role
This leads to Jolly being the second person to help Noah produce and co-write songs.
Jolly and Noah have been doing this for years. They wrote Dethrone together and the past two albums of their launching careers.
Nicholas has been with them since they first met.
Folio came afterwards after finding a good person to play drums.
So for anyone thinking it is AI, it’s not. These men have been doing business since the very beginning of their careers.
Noah knows a lot about this business, since he was a teen.
He grew up knowing his way around bands.
From starting out to play guitar in one of the bands he used to be a part of in Washington, to moving to Los Angeles.
THEORY 3: SUMERIAN RECORDS
So, this leads to theory 3 being Sumerian Records and how they navigate through the music business.
Tumblr media
Like I said, Sumerian records is a huge company. They are responsible for everything and everyone.
This leads them to the list of supporting the band.
They navigate their way through social media and putting out what profits them.
I’m not saying it’s bad for them to advertise their band. It’s actually good for them.
This has the best opportunity for the band to get money from the fans and tours for them to entertain. After all it’s an entertainment industry.
If you have seen American Satan, then it plays a role into this theory.
Bands look for what they want for fans to enjoy music.
This led to Bad Omens to support Linkin Park on them starting a new tour. With them bringing Erra, for Anything > Human.
Sumerian Records does support Bad Omens. They’re not putting them aside. If they were putting them aside for not showing them support then it would be the complete opposite.
If you guys remember they are working on a new album and new merch. Just like they did the past few years. Starting from 2019 to current 2024.
CONFUSION ON FANS
Tumblr media
So if there is a theory that Sumerian is just doing this for marketing reasons there’s no need to worry.
It’s all part of the process for bands to do this.
There’s been a lot of speculation about it.
But since this is all just rumors and people gossiping that they’re definitely doing this for marketing purposes, it’s basically normal.
It’s not illegal to do.
The good news on this is that they’re gaining more money just by selling items that the band produces and makes.
Making fans happy and making the metal industry entertaining.
But a lot of fans are simply confused if Poppy is actually a stunt artist, that Sumerian put in order for her album to sell.
I think it’s a way to say
CONSUMER BEFORE THE BUYER
By this I mean the company that profits most from a band is that the band themselves is a consumer for the company.
They work with bands, make music and if they hit a million streams on this specific song it goes out to the public before they start buying vinyls and merchandise.
This makes a lot of industries take action and gain money.
THIS BRINGS ME BACK POPPY
If fans think that Noah and Poppy are dating then why isn’t there more publicity on them hanging out together?
From what we’ve seen and heard is that yes Noah likes to keep everything private.
Since we haven’t seen a lot of photos of them together, the rumors on them being involved romantically is a very low chance.
This brings the fact that maybe paparazzi are being paid to catch Noah in photos, with Poppy like going to Jimmy Kimmel.
I mean paparazzi, there’s a reason why celebrities hate people who take pictures. They can stalk you, they can come out of nowhere, they have things organized.
It’s all due to their own management and bosses that tell them what to do and when to be there.
Also journalists and media outlets.
The acting and music industry is big, bigger than any other business out here in the United States alone.
This keeps the fans and the audience guessing if they’re actually dating.
If this was all organized and planned out then the theory of being a secret to the audience might be correct.
Maybe it is planned out secretly.
Poppy alone, wouldn’t be doing this on her own. Sumerian always has something up their sleeve for their contract employees to gain popularity.
Anyways on the good side of things I have more tea to spill out
BRYAN AND POPPY
Tumblr media
It sounds like this particular fan is suggesting that Bryan and Poppy are having a thing right after they looked at each other on Jimmy Kimmel.
Also blaming the bad omens fans for being weird?? How does that correlate to them having an idea if the Noah situation with poppy is real?
I mean would you rather get controversial and have the fans come after you?
Also who is this Andrew Davis??
Tumblr media
Obviously he was replying to the OG Poster.
I think they’re just rage bait, but I don’t think Poppy would have sex with anyone just because she’s famous right? I mean she was engaged in 2021 I think.
But what about Jordan and Poppy?
Like heck forget Noah and Poppy, like if Jordan was to date Poppy, what would happen to his kids? Is he divorcing his wife? Is he no longer happy in his marriage?
Also this leads to my question if Jordan and Noah are friends.
Also did anyone see Bad Omens on Jimmy Kimmel? Or was it just Knocked Loose?
There’s a lot of speculations, and a lot of rumors.
What do you think?
PUBLICITY AND FAME
So where I left off on paparazzi, there’s always going to be a publicity being made.
In this case we see it a lot more when bands are out in the public eye, and where they are being seen.
If Noah and Poppy aren’t being photographed everywhere they go, then it’s probably because the media organized the whole event. Not just to promote them but promote their work and their brand.
But don’t let that stop you from buying from Bad Omens or Poppy.
In all honesty Bad Omens is a great contributor for letting their fans enjoy music.
Whatever tea blog you have read that said Noah doesn’t care about fans, then they’re probably in the wrong.
Noah wouldn’t create a band, he wanted to create a band, but he wasn’t expecting to get big. Now that he has grabbed attention and fame, this gives him the chance to make more music and more money to his expenses.
Bad Omens makes sure that what you buy from them are good quality. They have a great support system and merch support team that allows the seller to communicate with the buyer if some of their merchandise arrives damaged.
They make sure each fan gets what that they enjoy the most.
JIMMY KIMMEL FORMAL APOLOGY
Tumblr media
This leads to my last rant that I recently seen which is that various audiences that saw Knocked Loose on Jimmy Kimmel want a formal apology.
It sounds like Jimmy Kimmel is getting bashed over how many audience viewers complained about Knocked Loose performance on “SUFFOCATE”
Let’s be real for a second, in the music industry there’s always going to be a lot of hate.
But this is tea where some audience viewers just didn’t like the performance.
So I watched part of the clip on YouTube since I don’t really watch television. The performance of Knocked Loose I mean if I was being absolutely honest, it wasn’t good.
Poppy’s moaning and screaming felt like a kid trying to get ice cream from a parlor.
It didn’t really sound so good at all. Also Bryan, could’ve done more to his part in my opinion.
But since this was at Jimmy Kimmel, the audience didn’t like it. So they decided to get a formal apology from either Knocked Loose or Jimmy himself.
I mean if you hated the performance, I think there must have been better ways rather than asking someone for an apology that they brought a good band out there to perform, but if that’s what you think then I’m not gonna question anything more about it.
To me frankly when they came out and sang the song, I could not even understand a word they were saying.
It was like they didn’t even try to sing the lyrics.
Here are what other people have said:
Facebook user recounted the show’s impact on their teenage son, writing, “I was sitting on the couch with my son who is an ADOLESCENT waiting to see the musical guest because we like the nice music the show usually books. By the third or fourth ‘JUNT’ from the guitars my son was in tears. He doesn’t like scary things and quite frankly I think the Kimmel show and its staff should make a formal apology.”
Another “keyboard-warrior” detractor echoed the age-old metal critique: the lyrics were unintelligible, and the screaming was unbearable. “If I have to read the lyrics I’ll just read them and not listen to someone yell them”. Another frustrated commenter expressed disdain for the chaotic energy, saying, “This what not enjoyable. And you can’t understand more than 5% of the lyrics. Moshing doesn’t not equal dancing.” The confusion in their typos only seemed to amplify the melodrama.
A “music expert” went on to say it wasn’t even music: "How do I sing along with this??? Lol sounds just like a screaming frenzy to me!! Actually starting to hurt my ears!! People who listen to this have no room to complain about crying babies or screaming two-year-olds taking a tantrum!! Ha ha unreal!!! They call this music Jimmy??"
That’s a lot of hate.
I think having them collab with Poppy was a bad idea.
Other people can think otherwise. I don’t get why Poppy is so popular when they ask to collaborate with her in particular.
Why do bands like her?
This might seem like a big jump but I feel like they just want Poppy’s attention and time to make a good impression on their album. But with what’s been happening with Bad Omens and them having new bands or new starting artists as fans and audiences, the newer generation of new bands want to be just like them.
They’re taking a big interest on Bad Omens, more to where they are inspired to do what Bad Omens is doing.
All of this is very weird to me.

what do you think these interviews confirm for buddie, does this confirm buddie is coming?
I'll say what I said earlier to some friends:
Right now is Schrodinger's Buddie.
Which in layman's terms means: Right now in the two days before the season airs, two truths exist at once. That being: canon buddie and non-canon buddie. And we won't know the real truth until the show airs.
So, anon, my opinion is that I want and hope this spells good things for future canon romantic buddie. I think all of this is a step in a positive direction. ((I never put too much stock in articles or press or what the actors say, but I digress)) This is the most hope about canon buddie I've had in a while. I think it appears as if ABC and Tim & Co are trying really hard to get and KEEP (being the key word here) a new audience. I know a lot of people like to say that we (fandom) aren't their core audience, that the general public is, but I've seen this argument time and time again in the BTS fandom that disproves this strategy. So I will say it now:
A dedicated, long-lasting, ride-or-die, loyal fandom will ALWAYS be more important than the approval of the general audience.
The general audience will watch the episode once, form their opinion on it, and then go watch something else regardless. They *might* rewatch a couple episodes when a new season airs. They are not the ones out here streaming each episode over and over meticulously during off seasons earning the show and the networks all their money when the show isn't actively airing. They're not the ones supporting every little side-launch, or keeping the name trending, or keeping conversation relevant, the ones willing to buy merch, the ones willing to spread the word, the ones actively converting other people into die-hard fans. The general audience will not be the people in 10, 20, 30 years rewatching all the episodes for the love it, or keeping a dedicated fanbase active and alive and creating works decades later. Fandoms do. And what does this fandom want?
Overwhelmingly, the fandom wants buddie. In my opinion, going through with romantic buddie is the best thing ABC could do to get and keep a brand new audience and secure the forever-loyalty of their returning audience.
The network wants a return on their investment, but the truth of it, is that they won't get that return on investment unless they actually prove to their audience that they're not just investing in giving the show cooler effects, or larger emergencies, or nicer sets, or more expensive production, or flashy advertisement. The real investment needs to be in the characters. In getting these characters where they need to go. The only way to satisfy your audience and to get them to keep coming back for more is to satisfy the character arcs they've set up over the last six years, and create new arcs that will keep audiences invested for years to come (like ABC so obviously wants).
I've also heard the argument that most people only come to the show for the flashy emergencies. And I get it, but at the same time, any show could create fun/crazy/bombastic emergencies. The thrill-seekers will always chase the craziness that can be replicated in any other random show and for them it's easy to drop 911 and move on if they want thrills.
What keeps people so heavily invested in this show, in 911 in particular, is the characters and their relationships with each other. Character will always ALWAYS be the most important thing to any piece of fictional media. Not the plot, not the emergencies, not the setting, not the effects, etc. Characters are how we as humans create connection. If they lose that connection, that will reflect in viewership, numbers, money, etc.
In my humble opinion, and the opinion of a lot of people who watch this show (even the silent general audience or people who don't ship buddie romantically, or the people who like buddie but think it will never happen so they just shit on it) the person who Eddie and Buck belong with (in whatever way you define it) is with each other.
This isn't something the fandom came up with, this isn't built on the back of fanon. All of this stems 100% from the show itself, so why wouldn't they want to execute to the fullest the story they've so clearly been telling the whole time?
This is just a long-winded way of saying, I, a humble tumblr user with zero connection to the show or its decision makers, don't know if this means buddie canon or not. But I will always remain hopeful until the show airs its last episode, because buddie makes sense on literally every level.

The second way the content game has changed is that you have to have stuff to post and promote. Only the incredibly popular people or the incredibly beloved people - the Angelina Jolies, the BTKs, the Kensington Palaces of the world - can get away with not posting for weeks or months at a time and it won't affect their follower count.
Meghan can't do that. She doesn't have the popularity, the fanbase, or the breadth and quality of work to be posting on any kind of regular or consistent basis. She wants to be at that level of fame, she believes she's at that level of fame, she's gaslighted some people to believing she has that level of fame, but she knows she can't convince all of us and the risk of non-believers "corrupting" believers is too great for her to chance.
This is, like your entire post, is dead on. Every one of the seven members of BTS are now fulfilling their mandatory military service. They are not allowed to promote anything and they are STILL adding to their follower #s. Narc M thinks this is the world she lives in and won't do sm bc it will prove she is nothing but a wannabe.
Yup, exactly. And we know she so desperately wants to be in this world because why else do we (still) get these paid promotions about Aquazurra shoes using pictures from 5 years ago?
Someone in the comments on the other social media post pointed out that Tiktok is where it's at these days. For the younger generations - Gen Z and Gen Alpha - absolutely. But most of those people don't have the disposable income to buy what Meghan merches to make her a super-influencer. The people who can afford that stuff right now are the millennials and Gen X -- and most of them are on Instagram. There's plenty on Tiktok, don't get me wrong, but most of the demographic Meghan is going for predominantly uses Instagram. That's why she's still so hyperfocused on Instagram for her social media at the moment.
I think we'll see Meghan back on social media if there's a divorce, but it's going to be very basic influencer-type social media. She's still hustling like it's 2015 or 2016 and she's got a prince to catch, but the game has changed. It's 2024. You gotta hustle for the attention, and it's not just celebrities and lifestyle bloggers she's competing with now - it's literally everyone. I don't think she quite understands that just yet.

Hey! New fan here. I'm not quite sure where to start. There's so much content. Any tips?
Hello there, I'm so sorry, it took me an eternity to answer you...
First of all, welcome to the fandom! When it comes to managing the gigantic amount of BTS content that exists, I can only advise you to take your time: navigate the content, watch what catches your eye, and leave the rest, maybe for later. For a long time now, Big Hit has aimed to offer a variety of fan experiences so no matter who you are, you can find something you really enjoy. Maybe it'll be the documentaries following the group during world tours or the cooking game with chibi versions of the members, it's up to you.
I'll try to give a few tips depending on what you may be interested in:
1 - You're here for the music
YouTube, streaming apps, and albums are your friends!
An easy start is the Hybe playlist since it has all their main tracks. Then if there's a song you really like, you can try and go for the album.
If you want more info about a song/album, you can check my blog post about it, it should have lyrics translations, filming places, a list of the referenced works and nods to other things, as well as some more trivia.
Then it's time for the documentaries (they're listed here among other shows) and the special performances to witness unique versions of your favorite songs paired with incredible choreo. Lastly, collaborations with other artists complete their discography.
2 - You're here for the members' personality:
Their variety shows, behind-the-scene videos, and socials are the way to go!
The iconic one is of course Run BTS!, which started in 2015 and is still going strong nowadays with the Run Jin! version, a show packed with laughter, treason, and games no one understands. But the true OG remains the Bangtan Bombs (Eng trans). Each video is a time capsule of the boys at each point of their career.
Once you've gone through all that free stuff (should take you some time though), the paid content is the logical next step: from the adventurous Bon Voyage to the relaxing In The Soop, you once again have the freedom of choice.
3- You're here to collect:
Merch and characters are the rabbit hole you're looking for!
BTS merch, products advertised by BTS, HipHop Monsters, BT21, TinyTan, you can buy them all! If you're like... super duper rich
4 - You believe there are rabbits baking cakes on the moon:
Welcome to the theorists' world (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ a.k.a the BU.
It's pretty much dead now, some people expect new things for 2025 but there's no guarantee. It's a fiction set up in the BTS MVs that then got extended through web comics, novels, and a web series.
That should be it. I didn't mention a lot of things (the Festa, the solo works, the DVD packages…) but it should cover your bases and it's mostly free and easily available. I think you'll naturally come across the rest during your time in the fandom (there are tons of compilations and curated extracts). I think that's one of the nice things about BTS, you always discover something you had never heard before even when you're an experienced fan!
To stay up-to-date, don't hesitate to follow official accounts, as well as a few translators. You can also check r/bangtan on Reddit, there are often new fans asking for help/recommendations there, it's probably more complete than what I could come up with on my own.
And of course if you want to ask something else, I'm still here (and promise, I'll try to answer sooner)
See you! 💜

⌜No Hoods Attached | Chapter 01 Chapter 01 | volunteer work⌟
╰ ⌞🇨‌🇭‌🇦‌🇵‌🇹‌🇪‌🇷‌ 🇮‌🇳‌🇩‌🇪‌🇽‌⌝
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
❘ prev. chapter ❘༻✦༺❘ next chapter ❘
Tumblr media
"I swear, I don't even know how I allowed you to talk me into doing this." You pulled on the collar of your hoodie, feeling yourself growing anxious as you stood outside the double doors of a large stadium.
"Because you owed me and I owed someone else. Kinda handled two things at once, ya' know?" The voice of your best friend, Seora, comes out faintly through the phone pressed up against your ear.
"Yeah, and I thought you'd cash in the favor by me buying you ATEEZ merch or some food, not use it to come and do someone else's job for them." You hissed into the device, a bit frustrated at how nonchalant she sounded. "I can literally go to jail for employment fraud."
"If you stick to the plan, act the part, you won't get caught~"
You sighed in a mixture of annoyance and disappointment as you rubbed the bridge of your nose. "Okay, whatever. What am I supposed to do again?"
"Just walk up to the desk, say you're Han Ji-yoo and one of the volunteers. Hand 'em that ticket stub, and boom! You're good. And don't stress too much; I'll be there in like an hour." As Seora tried quelling your fears, you looked down at your watch only for it to read eight o'clock in the morning; it was time.
After wrapping up your goodbye with your friend, as well as threatening to choke her if you got caught, you hung up the phone, placing it in your pocket.
Taking one more deep breath, you made your way inside the stadium. Walking up to one of the booths, you politely knocked on the window to catch the teller's attention. "What can I do to help you?"
"Um, hi? My name is Han Ji-yoo and I'm one of the volunteers for the BTS concert that's being held today." You knew you must have looked sketchy by the way you kept fidgeting in place.
"Ticket, please?" The teller spoke with a polite smile.
"Oh, right. Just a sec." Fumbling in your hoodie pocket, you took out the ticket Seora gave you, sliding it through the slot.
The teller's eyes were narrowed as he looked down to observe the authentication of the ticket.
You were sweating bullets as you waited for something to happen.
Oh, Gods. Oh, Gods. Oh, Gods. I'm screwed! He knows I'm not Ji-yoo! I'm gonna go to jail and become someone's prison bitchㅡ
Your dramatic and hectic thoughts were disrupted by the teller's voice. "Okay Ms. Han, if you'd just sign here to document your attendance, I'll go fetch your badge." With that, you forged Ji-yoo's signature, something Seora made sure you learned to do, and the teller left the window to get the badge.
As soon as the man was out of sight, you squatted down to the floor, hands on your head as you prayed to any and all the Gods above. You can't believe you just committed identity fraud and got away with it.
Too deep into your miniature breakdown, you didn't notice the teller's reappearance. "Ms. Han?"
You jumped up at once, nearly giving the teller a heart attack. "Hello, sorry, I was tying my shoe."
Clearing his throat, the teller slid the badge through the slot. "Here's your badge, Ms. Han. Be sure to always have this in view around your neck so you aren't mistaken as trespassing," he gave you a laminated card hooked onto a long cord. "Just go down this hallway and turn left when you reach the intersection. There should be a sign on a metal door showcasing the point of where the volunteers go."
"Thank you, have a nice day," you told the teller, picking up the badge and placing it around your neck. You then followed the teller's instructions, arriving at the room in less than ten minutes.
The moment you walked inside, there was a woman that asked to see your badge. "Ms. Han, here is the map as well as your schedule for today." She then handed you two sheets of paper. "You will be located in Group C. Your task, along with the other volunteers of the group, will be to set up the room in which the fan-meeting will be held."
"A fan-meeting?" You looked up, confused at what you heard. "I didn't know there would be a fan meeting after the concert."
The woman gave you a polite smile as if already expecting your response. "This information was withheld from the volunteers to ensure that it wouldn't be leaked out to the public and cause too much chaos."
You nodded your head in understanding. "So where do I go again?"
"Group C is over there by the double doors."
After thanking her, you briskly made your way over to the group of people; there were about twenty in total, a little less than you were inspecting.
"Good afternoon everyone, my name is Kim Sang-hun and today I will be your group leader for Group C." An averaged height male with fading-grey hair stood at the front of the group with a bright smile on his face. "If Mrs. Lee didn't already explain, our task as Group C is to prepare and decorate the room for the fan-meeting that will be held after today's concert." Sang-hun did a bit more explaining as well as answered a few people's questions before telling us all to follow him towards the room where the fan meeting would be held.
Your group walked for a bit before stopping at a metal door that led to a room the size of a high school library with a bunch of white and purple decorations, chairs, and posters sitting in a corner.
"Alright, group." Sang-hun clapped to catch everyone's attention, "Let's get to it."
Tumblr media
Time seemed to move by quickly as you found yourself immersed within the tasks you were given; as soon as you were finished with one thing, you were immediately assigned anotherㅡit was oddly satisfying.
Other than that, you surprisingly found yourself talking and laughing a bit with those around you.
Growing up, you weren't an outgoing child; this often led to you having trouble socializing with others your own age. Honestly, it was a miracle that you and Seora managed to become friends, seeing as she was the complete opposite of you, so you were a bit happy to be able to converse a little with the other volunteers, even if the conversations were no more than four or five minutes long.
The sound of talking and the scraping of chairs filled the room as dozens of people moved about, decorating the room for the upcoming fan-meeting.
Instead of out there with the other volunteers hanging up posters or blowing up balloons, you were seated in a corner tying up purple steamers.
"Hey, Ji-yoo." You continued to knot the streamers together, forgetting that you were posing as Han Ji-yoo; you only remembered when the person repeated the name as well as giving you a tap on the shoulder.
"Huh?" When you looked up, you were greeted by a pretty brunette girl, who was pale with hazel eyes, and had her hair cascading over the side of her neck in waves; her badge read Kim Alex.
"Hi, my name is Alex and I'm so sorry to interrupt you, but there's a girl named Seora looking for you."
You perked up at the mention of your best friend, "Really? Where is she?" You leaned over, trying to see if you'd see her behind Alex.
"She's not here, she's actually in my group, Group F," Alex spoke, seeing your actions. "I just thought I'd let you know since I was asked to tell Group C that it was lunchtime and noticed that you were one of the few that didn't move."
You nodded your head in understanding as you saw other people from your group leaving their spots and walking out of the room. Following suit, you put down the things you were working on, got up, and followed the others, with Alex right behind you.
"So how did you know I was the one she was looking for?" You asked the brunette, wanting to start a conversation.
Alex scratched the back of her neck in a sort of sheepish way. "Seora actually came into the room about an hour ago exclaiming loudly if anyone knew where Lin ____. When no one knew what she was talking about, she went on to describe the person wearing an oversized red hoodie. Someone then told her that no one by that name was a volunteer and that there was a Han Ji-yoo in Group C that fit that description," she explained as the two of you walked down a long hallway with the others. "She apologized and then asked me to pass you the message when I went to fetch Group C."
When Alex finished her explanation, you wanted to both rub your face in exasperation and strangle Seora for unintentionally revealing your identity. "Ha, Seora's such a jokester sometimes." you forcefully laughed with a smile.
Soon enough, you all reached the luncheon area.
"Ji-yoo! Over here!" There, by the table filled with boxed sandwiches, was Seora.
You turned to smile at Alex, "Thanks for giving me Seora's message. Hope you have a good rest of the day," you told the brunette before walking over to deal with your headache.
As soon as you made it to Seora's side, you gave her a swift punch in the side.
"Ow! What the hell was that for?" she hissed, rubbing her side.
"You got me to pretend to be someone else only to reveal my real damn name? What sense does that make?"
Your agitation only grew once you saw the sheepish expression on her face. ""Heh, my bad. It slipped. Got caught in the moment."
Sucking on your teeth, you just shook your head, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's just go get something to eat before you expose me anymore," you told the girl, walking past her to grab a boxed lunch.
"I said I was sorry," she whined, trailing behind you.

A/N: Like I said in the Blurb, this will be my final and last time re-writing this book. As time passed and as I grew as a writer, I found that my previous form of writing (this book, lol) was HORRIBLE. Like how did y'all even read this shit!? Y'all wrong for not telling me this was trash 🤣🤣. But yeah, I will be re-doing everything, as well as fixing plot holes and giving the Taehyung romance that was not given the first time around.

“It’s finally here!” I shouted as I bolted from my room towards the front door to greet the delivery man carrying my package. Even without looking at the mirror, I could feel my smile going up to my ears and my heartbeat furiously echoing through my chest. The delivery man handed me a medium sized box and stared at me as I reach out for the box with a huge smile plastered on my face. I signed the delivery form, closed the door and ran back inside my unit.
I ran to the living room and placed the box on the floor. I turned to my left and hurriedly rummaged for my cutter inside the drawer beside the sofa. I also took my phone on top of the said drawer and placed it on my lap. I swiftly sat down on the floor in front of my package with the cutter ready in my hand when I remembered something. I unlocked my phone and proceeded to video call my brother who’s at work. My brother’s name and his photo appeared on the screen as I wait for him to answer the call.
“Hey Y/N…” His face popped up on my screen. I silently giggled at the angle of his front camera when he answered the call. Not really flattering despite him being good looking. He must have placed the phone on a table directly below his face. “You know I’m at work right? Why did you call? Emergency?” I could hear keyboard sounds in the background. He must be busy typing on the computer as he didn’t bat an eye on his phone while talking to me.
“Yeah I know. I just wanted to share some good news” My camera is facing towards me with just my eyes peeking through screen. I was worried that maybe he’s with some people at work that might see me when he answers the video call and I’m not decent looking right now. “My package has arrived!” I low-key squealed as I pressed the ‘rotate camera’ button on the screen and directed the camera at the package. I could see my brother looking now at the phone. He placed his phone in front of him and leaned it on a stable surface for him to see me properly. He continued to type slowly on his keyboard as he steal glances on his phone screen.
“Don’t tell me…. You bought another merch?” He giggled as he looked at his phone screen and continued to type on his keyboard. He looked back at his computer screen after a second, with a smile on his face. I opened the package with my cutter on one hand and my phone on the other. Tearing through the tape, I can’t contain my excitement as i shrieked when my cutter got through the end of the tape. I released the cutter from my hand and pushed it aside.
“BTS Merch! Oh my god, I have been waiting for these for weeks. I got the latest album, more Tiny Tan figurines, and some concert goods from last tour.” I proceeded to open the box and showed my brother the contents. I felt accomplishment as I look at all the merchandise that has just arrived at home. My ARMY heart couldn’t contain the joy that I have right now. I shot my eyes back on the phone screen and saw my brother smiling as he looked at me through the phone screen.
“Hey, I’m happy you are happy but you know I work in Big Hit right? I work for them?” He stopped typing, took the phone back in his hands and brought the phone close to his face. “I could just easily buy these things for you with my employee discount.” And now his whole face is occupying my phone screen.
“Jiyong, I know but where’s the fun in that? I want to buy these items using my own money. Well, an employee discount is nice but I don’t want to abuse your privilege as I buy too much of their merchandise.” I snorted at the fact that I really do buy too much of their merchandise. Besides, when I use his employee discount, the items are delivered directly to him as he works inside the Big Hit Building. With the amount of merchandise that I buy, I don’t want to embarrass him and label him as a big fanboy especially with him working so close to the boys.
“If you weren’t my twin sister, I would totally laugh at you. Not that I think you’re crazy but you’re…. loyal” He puts emphasis on the last word. He respects my deep profound respect for the 7 boys but he thinks that maybe I have gone too far with the purchases. He placed his phone back in front of him, leaning on a surface. “Oh before I forget, did you read my email?” I was taken aback with topic change but I’m used to it as he does this all the time. I pressed the ‘rotate camera’ button once again for him to see my face.
“No, I haven’t opened my email yet. I went home so late last night. My last client in the gym arrived late so we finished late as well. A bummer.” I scoffed as I remembered the fatigue that enveloped my body yesterday. I work as a gym trainer/physical therapist full time and a dance teacher/choreographer as my sideline. I work at my friend’s gym located in the heart of Seoul as a gym trainer. I currently handle 7 clients, some who I have worked with for a few years already. I also teach dance classes at a small dance studio just a few blocks from where I live. Mainly, I handle BTS dance classes because duh, I am a full-blooded ARMY. I really tried to make my passion as a source of income and it warms my heart to see people having fun when I teach them those dances.
“Check it. Anyways, I gotta go. I still have a lot to do. As you know, the company is busy since BTS will be releasing another album sometime this year.” My brother currently works as a Recording Engineer in Big Hit. He used to brag to me that he’ll spend hours with BTS and TXT. I was jealous of course but I am so proud he’s working for them. Whenever I listen to songs from Big Hit artists, I try to think that he has contributed to a lot of songs despite not knowing what exact songs he has worked on. Another reason why I listen and support them.
We both said our farewells and dropped the call. As I took out all the contents of the package unto the floor, I used my phone on the other hand. I opened my mail and saw few unread emails. Some of them were from my subscriptions on Netflix and Spotify, which I barely read. On top of the list was my brother’s mail. I saw the subject “READ THIS FANGIRL!” and I laughed. Here I thought he sent me something urgent or important that needs my utmost attention. Must be another event or merchandise that they’ve yet to announce to the public.
I opened the mail and my eyes were glued to the first line of the message body.
“Big Hit is hiring backup dancers. See the forwarded email below, sis. I think they’re meaning to assign whoever they’ll hire as part of BTS dance team.” Did I just receive this email? It came from my brother so it must be true. He won’t prank me like that. If I apply, there’s no guarantee that I’ll be hired right? That’s too bad if I won’t be hired but there’s nothing to lose if I try to apply.
I left my package scattered throughout my floor and ran towards my laptop lying on my bed. I sat down on the floor beside my bed and opened my laptop. I felt like a kid but here I am, rushing to find my resume to apply for a new job that might eventually change my life.
….
It’s been a week since I applied as a backup dancer for Big Hit. I sent in my resume and a few videos of me dancing to some of their artists’ songs. I’m lucky to have known a lot of BTS’ songs and choreographies by heart and I might have tried to study some of their label mates’ songs as well. I haven’t received a reply back from them and I’m worried that I may not receive any response ever.
Apparently, BTS is known for having only male backup dancers as far as I know so it’s news to me that they’re hiring female backup dancers now. It got me thinking that this might also attract fellow fangirls like me to apply but knowing Big Hit, they wouldn’t want anything scandalous to happen just because they hired female backup dancers. I’m not saying that female dancers lack professionalism but how the boys are the top rank boy group in the country, female fans would be green with jealousy if they see female dancers dancing with them. Some Armies are really protective when it comes to the boys so it’s really shocking to hear that the company is finally considering this.
The day that I got the mail from my brother, I spent half of my day planning what dances to shoot and submit. I chose BTS’ Idol and Singularity, TXT’s Crown and a freestyle dance to Beyonce’s Yonce. I wanted to showcase my range in dancing by carefully choosing a variety of songs. I admit that the reason I may have applied to this job is partly because I’m a fangirl but nonetheless, my passion for dancing is bigger. I have been dancing since I was a kid but I was not this confident at the start. It’s hard to convince me to perform in front of a bigger audience, let alone a stadium full of fans. I slowly got over my fear little by little when I started teaching dance classes at the dance studio. The fear is still there and you may wonder why I am applying for this job when I’m scared shit in performing for a large audience. BTS taught me to love myself and I am really trying my best to go out of my comfort zone. I figured that this may be my best chance in doing so. Also, I get the benefit of working alongside them which is a big plus.
I couldn’t really focus on my job for the whole week. I find myself regularly checking my mail in the hopes of getting a response from Big Hit. 5 days and there’s still no mail. Maybe my email just went to their spam folder or maybe I typed in the wrong mail. On the 7th day while I was pulling out my clothes in the dryer, I heard a ping from my phone from across the hall. I left my phone on my bed and the laundry room is right beside my room. I noticed that the ping was my assigned tone for mails. I hurriedly took out all my warm dry clothes and unto the basket, closed the door of the dryer and turned the lights off in the laundry room.
“New Mail. Subject: Dance Team Application” I saw the notification banner and my heart just jumped out of my chest. I felt my forehead sweating profusely, fingers shaking and my throat closing up as I try to open my phone and check my mail. I silently and swiftly read the contents of the mail. After two seconds, I shrieked at the top of my lungs and threw my phone across my bed. I ran out of my room and in circles around the living room. Good thing I live alone so that I could just celebrate and make loud noises like this. I jumped up and down on the sofa while etching the image of the mail into my head. I buried my head on my pillows and shouted once more, emptying all the air out of my lungs.
I ran back into my room and read the mail again.
“Good day, Miss Y/N.
We have received your application and we are glad to say that we are impressed with your resume and skillset. We would like you to come in our office tomorrow so we can meet and talk personally with our dance team. We are glad to have you join our current dance team. Details of our meeting are expressed below.
Time: 10 am
Address: 42 Teheran-ro 108-gil, Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Attire: Comfortable Casual
Please look for Mina at the front desk to escort you. Thank you.”
I still can’t believe what I’m seeing. Did I just got accepted? As a backup dancer? For Big Hit? Maybe for BTS? I’m such a lucky fangirl. I can’t wait for tomorrow.
….
It’s a good thing that my schedule is free today. I don’t have any clients in the gym scheduled for today and the dance studio is closed for today. I was so nervous and excited at the same time. I woke up at 6 am as I feel my jitters bothering my sleep. I tried to go back to sleep but I trashed the bed and rolled side to side for about 30 mins so I decided to go for a run. I turned on my Spotify and played my ‘Intense Run Playlist’ which mostly consists of high bpm BTS songs. There’s a jogging path near where I live and the scenery is filled with trees. Very calming, which I really need right now.
I arrived in front of the Big Hit Building around 8:30 am. I made sure to arrive early as I don’t want to be late for the meeting. I’m so anxious right now if I’m allowed to go up as early as 9 am or should I just arrived on time. I lingered outside and paced back and forth at a nearby shade. I wondered if I could visit my brother and stay with him for the mean time.
“Is she a stalker?” I heard whispers coming from my right as I slumped back at the pole where I’m taking shade just across the building. “That’s scary.” Three schoolgirls were standing a few meters away from me. They were staring and smirking at me. I wondered why they would think of me as such then I realized that I wore my hoodie up to cover half of my face.
“I’m not…”
“Good luck stalker-nim. You won’t get a glimpse of the boys.” They giggled and ogled me with judgmental looks with their arms across the chests. “Can you get away from the boys? We don’t want stalker armies like you.”
“As I said, I’m not a stalker and I’m older than you. Why are you talking to me in an informal tone?” I pull my hoodie off my head and slowly tread towards them. They laughed and ran away at the sight of me making my way to them. Sheesh, do I really look like a stalker?
I looked at my watch and it’s still 9:10 am. I guess I could try and visit my brother. The fresh morning air blew gently in my face, as if to welcome me, and be my merry playmate, and the sun looked at me with a warm and tender smile. What a nice start to my day, I thought. I put up my hoodie again and I was comfortable once more with the warmth my mere hoodie gave me.
“I have a meeting in your building today. Do you want to meet up? I’m not due until 10 am. – your adorable look alike” I texted my brother and inserted my phone back in my pocket. I breathed in the fresh breeze and not a second later, my phone pinged. I pulled out my phone to see my brother’s name on the screen.
“Lucky, I’m on a coffee break. I’ll be down in a sec.” he replied. A grin was present on my face as I stood up from where I was leaning. I skipped from across the street towards the building. I looked above at the sky and towards the top of the Big Hit Building and when I returned my gaze back in front of me, I was met by a dark haired man in his mid-twenties. I bumped into him and was knocked down at the side of the street. I exclaimed in pain as I rub my backside.
“Hey look where you’re go…” I looked up and immediately recognized the face. The man was wearing a grey Fear of God shirt paired with black baggy pants. His face was half covered by a black mask and his hair was kept away from his face with a black headband almost occupying his whole forehead.
“You should be the one watching you’re going. Crossing the street while prancing around like that.” He scoffed and continued to make his way towards the building. He didn’t even help me up. I sneered back.
“I’m sorry. I assure you that he’s not usually like this. He’s in a bad mood.” Two hands were suddenly around my elbows, propping me up from the ground. I turned my head and saw a woman around mid-twenties as well. She was carrying an opened big black bag propped on her right shoulder with filled with piles of unruly papers stuck inside. When I finally was able to stand up properly, she took off her hands from me and bowed in apology. She swiftly followed the man and shouted, “Yoongi, wait. I can explain.”
So I was right. It was Suga. All the images of a funny and loving Min Yoongi ran through my mind. Just like a scary movie, it was replaced by a disgusted look he shot at me a while ago. Did he…. Maybe he thought I was a stalker or something? I guess if I really looked like one then I don’t blame him for shooting those looks at me. However, a decent person would help anyone up in that situation.
I beat the dust off my hoodie and slowly treaded towards the building’s entrance. Not a really good way to start my first interaction with anyone from BTS, I thought.

I'm just gonna rant my chest out regarding the recent Watcher's announcement because I'm still trying to process wtf has just happened & it's pretty late at night. (For the record, I'm one of their international viewers from a 3rd world country.)
It sucks that I cannot buy their official merch that is already expensive (due to conversion rates) + not being able to deliver in my country when I've some spare cash. That's fine by me.
It sucks that I cannot go & watch their live shows being available at certain countries that doesn't cost a damn fortune (plane tickets, hotel bookings, converting currency, etc.) + not in a million years they'll stop by SEA to do tours/live shows. That's also fine by me.
However, the way how they hyped up the announcement mentioning big things are coming only to just drop a video saying "Hey, we're leaving Youtube as the money ain't flowing much to cover our 'extravagant' expenses & all future contents will be locked behind a paywall. So if you're unable to watch most of your beloved shows because you can't pay then toodles!" That's NOT fine by me, let alone anyone else in the matter.
Even if I've a fuck ton of money to spare, I'm still not buying their monthly/yearly WatcherTV subscription because it's JUST. NOT. WORTH. IT. Who wants to buy a monthly yet alone yearly subscription just to watch 1-2 episodes of a show I like being put out weekly per season & then waiting for some time before another new season of another show that has a 50-50 chance whether I enjoy it or not pops up to fill the void? Not me, that's for sure. Damn, I rather subscribe to Netflix or buy YouTube premium if I could because the money spent is worth the content I can get on a monthly/yearly basis.
I get putting exclusive contents such as BTS, special interviews/podcasts, early access to episodes, etc. behind a paywall since they're just nice bonuses for fans who're able to support them but locking REGULAR YOUTUBE content that's not being released consistently & have nothing much to offer behind a paywall? I think you're losing your crackers on this one chief.
After watching the announcement video, I feel plainly numb & disappointed that this is the route they're going for. I understand they need the funds to make videos, pay people & also wanting the freedom to make content that you want to make without adhering to the restrictions of advertisers. I get it.
But what I don't get is this mind numbing decision to spit at the faces of people who can't afford to fork out some cash to enjoy their once free favourite shows that helped cheer them up during the tough times. It's even more disgusting what I heard from Coffeezilla's recent video about Watcher mentioning that they don't even give out a free WatcherTV subscription to their Patreon members as a way to say thank you for your patronage is really saying something eh?

4 years ago, I found Shane & Ryan via Buzzfeed Unsolved just like everyone else randomly being recommended to me on Youtube. I binge watched all seasons of Buzzfeed Unsolved exactly at the same time they're announcing their departure from Buzzfeed to go do their own content at Watcher. What's this? A channel where I can watch the ghoul boys do their own thing? Hell yeah, sign me tf up.
It's really nice to see Watcher growing & trying out new different shows. I'm aware not all the shows they put out matches my taste & that's fine by me. Probably there's an audience out there who enjoy these shows that aren't for me.
I remember the time I was excited when they bring in Ghost Files & Mystery Files which can fill in the Buzzfeed Unsolved void. Are You Scared? & Too Many Spirits are the shows I enjoy listening to them as background noise so that I can focus on my work.
Puppet History & Top 5 Beatdown is where I enjoy the chemistry between the talents & guests. Weird, Wonderful, World & Tourist Trapped is where I enjoy seeing cool places run by passionate people & is like a nice, come hangout with me type of video blogs.
4 years later, this is where I'll be hopping off with the knowledge that I can't no longer be able to enjoy all these shows anymore like I used to just because I can't afford to whip out some measly cash to pay for regular content that I can easily find on Youtube for free.
Even if you leave up the old videos on Youtube (after you've backpedalled your decision to remove all the videos entirely in the first place due to the backlash & gaslighting us into thinking we misunderstood but your Variety article says otherwise), the whole ordeal just makes the experience to re-watch all the content that I used to love & enjoy feels awkward & left a sour, bitter taste in my mouth.
With a very heavy heart, I say thank you for the fun shows you have been putting out these past 4 years & farewell to Team Watcher. I don't know how're you going to recover from this but I wish you a best of luck moving forward.
