This is about comics, but the way people act about book adaptations literally drives me insane

It's really more like I suddenly have less eyestrain while reading and doing handicrafts, and now I've got some sharp magnification for those things, and oncoming headlights no longer show me the sixth dimension when I'm driving at night. This is kind of an exaggeration for me. Still, the professional assurance that some farsighted vision modification has indeed occurred to your eyeballs in the last 20+ years can be a little jarring when you were *convinced* that you were just nuts and "seeing things" when you thought you might be developing symptoms of astigmatism. 🥸

one thing about dragon age i do think is really funny is that one of the central features of worldbuilding is that mages are oppressed and imprisoned in special towers because they're viewed as dangerous. but also it's a fantasy rpg and people who play a fantasy rpg want to cast spells, so there's literally always mages just chilling in your party or you're a mage chilling out in the wild with no issue

When will they make a soy-free tofu substitute

#and DO NOT say meat #thats NOT what i mean #i cant cut cubes of meat into smaller cubes of meat and make them take the flavor of whatever i put them in #(i assume this is how tofu works but ive never actually had it on account of the soy thing)#plenty of tofu based dishes couldnt give less of a shit about mimicking meat #i want a substance that acts like tofu and has the properties of tofu but is actually not soy or tree nut or dairy or meat based #or really legume based in general bc i think maybe im just bad with all of them #mushrooms?? are mushrooms the key???#can we make a solid mass of cooked or otherwise heat processed coconut product which does this?#if babybel can turn coconut oil into a cheese wheel then i think we can accomplish tofu #in lieu of this goal however #i will accept a solution in which we can make a me which is not allergic to everything that tastes good and is fun to eat #but i fear this is an even more unattainable goal #my parents certainly werent able to achieve it 👀

Hey! I finished up another little resource I've been slowly putting together.

I've put together a turnaround reference of every character in the game, with every alternate appearance, both full bodies and profile views.

The full body views include a hatless young Graham for scale. There is a bit of an issue regarding characters with armor- I'm not very savvy with blender admittedly, and all of the metal comes out really dark. It isn't too bad, save for Manny, who doesn't even have his green feather. I'd like to fix those once I can. Also, capes are omitted. I think that only applies to Graham and Whisper though.

I'll be finishing up doing the same for the animals at some point, and I'm planning on making a few references for certain character's weapons, or other interesting items.

Also- along with the profile views, I included some of Graham's head at every angle by 10 degrees, from head on, lower, and upper angles. Thought it would be helpful to see how his hat works from any direction. The images are huge, here's a gif of them all together.
