Chakra Petals Healing is a holistic practice rooted in the ancient traditions of energy healing and yoga philosophy. This technique focuses on the seven main chakras—energy centers in the body that correspond to various physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being. Each chakra is associated with specific petals, symbolizing the qualities and energies that govern our well-being. By harnessing the power of these through meditation, breathwork, and visualization, practitioners aim to clear blockages, restore balance, and enhance the flow of vital energy. This healing approach not only promotes physical health but also nurtures emotional resilience and spiritual growth, guiding individuals toward a more harmonious and fulfilling life see more...

Who's coming towards you and what do they bring to the table?
Group 1 - Spider lilly
Who are they? In Japanese culture, the spider lily is believed to bloom near graves. It is associated with the afterlife and the notions of death and rebirth. This flower holds a very scorpionic energy. It is also a symbol of eternal love. This specific white lily shown in the picture is also a symbol of purity and innocence. If we take that into account, the person coming towards you can be viewed as mysterious and deep, somewhat cold. But once you get to know them, you realize that they are rather outgoing and pure, kind and childlike. They marvel at the beauty of life and want nothing but to love and be loved.
Looking at the different cards you got, there’s a lot of emphasis on communication and voicing one’s opinions or truth without fear. This person could have a beautiful voice. They could be a singer or a spokesperson, an advocate or any other profession that involves speaking to a large audience. This person seems to be shy and rather harsh on themselves. They take pride in what they do and the values they stand for. When their actions are not in alignment with their ideals, they tend to criticize themselves a lot. They are represented by Bismuth and Turquoise, both blue crystals. The throat chakra holds an important significance to this person, as well as emotions, intuition and water. Blue could be their favorite color. This person could burn themselves out often by being present for others more than showing up for themselves. They could get throat sickness quite often, especially when they are repressing their truth or telling lies. They have a sharp tongue. They use their voice to shed light on what is contradictory or what needs to evolve. They help people shift their perspective. Teaching could also be their career path.
What do they bring to the table? - Queen of pentacles, 7 of wands, 4 of cups, The Moon, The Fool, Judgement, White Numen
This person brings in major shifts in your life. Renewal is the best way to describe it. They will literally put your world upside down in order to help you gain perspective on what is going on. They’ll show you that there’s nothing wrong in standing for what you believe in. They’ll also teach you how to be the bigger person and choose your battles wisely. They’ll help you introspect and listen to your intuition, take a new start in life and get retribution by accomplishing what you were meant to do in this life time. This person will help you find your true calling and your voice in this global cacophony that is the world we currently live in. With them, you will create a reality in your image. They will also help you value yourself more and set yourself free from any dependence or addiction. They’ll help you detach yourself from people’s judgmental views. Significant zodiac signs for this group are Taurus, Cancer and Scorpio. You can wear blue or connect to the energy of Bismuth and Turquoise to understand this person better on a spiritual level and manifest them into your life.
Group 2 - Lavender
Who are they? Lavender is known to have soothing properties. It is often used in aromatherapy to ease the mind and release tensions related to anxiety, stress. Lavender is a symbol of devotion, serenity and grace. With its purple petals, it could be associated with the spiritual realm. This person is very delicate and kind hearted. They consider people with a lot of care and kindness. They have a pure heart and make people feel safe. They remind me of Taurus and their Venusian sensual and loving energy. This person is down to earth and wise beyond their years. Their crown chakra is highly active. It wouldn’t surprise me if this person already connected with you through your dreams. They could very well be a therapist, a reiki practitioner, a healer that uses alternative medicines or unconventional practices like crystal healing or sound healing. This is further confirmed by two cards of the Threads of fate deck that are related to air and ether : share wisdom and The Sage. This person is a guide and mentor to others. They could be a teacher, some type of guru or an important public figure, a coach, a counselor. This person is very powerful and influent. They could have published a book or a study or shared their experience and what they learned over time online.
They are represented by the hammerhead shark. They have a lot of determination and drive. They are also incredibly mature. They could very well be older than you. I’d say at least ten years older. Purple and blue could be their favorite colors. If they were a major arcana, I think this person would be the Hermit. So Cancer could also be relevant. They are also represented by Kyanite and Amethyst. Kyanite is advised to people who feel restless, who overthink or get caught in their mental space too often. This shows that this person is a deep thinker. They take things seriously and meticulously. Amethyst is often used in spiritual practices to deepen our connection to the spirit realm and gain clarity. To hone our psychic skills. This person feels very connected to their higher self. They know who they are, what they were meant to do and where they’re heading. They are focused on their mission and won’t lose their time with insignificant matters.
What do they bring to the table? - 7 of cups, 3 of wands, 9 of cups, Temperance, 4 of swords, The Lovers, 5 of swords Other significant zodiac signs are Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces. This person will teach you how to identify your needs and choose a path that is in alignment with your higher self and your highest good. They’ll help you find balance and emotional satisfaction in the projects that you pursue, the actions you take. They’ll teach you how to recognize the symptoms of anxiety and being overwhelmed by life so that you can retreat and protect yourself. They’ll teach you how to pick your battles wisely and ignore petty attitudes from your peers. They’ll help you handle the pressure of being your true self and choosing yourself over others. They’ll teach you how to love yourself and how to love, how to be in love and receive love. I can say here that this relationship has romantic potential. Surprisingly this part of the reading is the shortest but I feel like there’s no need to overanalyze this because this person will be pretty clear with their intent : they’re here to help and support you, "and that is all you need to know" they want to add.
Group 3 - Sunflower
Who are they? I associate the Sunflower with the bold and brave Leo. I heard in my mind "only the brave" which is the name of a perfume from Diesel. So this could be this person’s perfume. With it’s bright colors and relation to the sun, it is safe to say this person has a bright personality. They are outgoing and friendly, like to be seen and admired. They take great care of their body and appearance. Hence the fragrance reference. This person is cheerful and ambitious. They don’t like lying down and contemplating. They would rather act first and think later. They could have anger issues and sometimes be jealous. The signs of Leo and Aries could be significant. Blue and green could be their favorite colors. This person is represented by the whale shark and the octopus. They are very clever and resilient. They have a strong moral compass and always lead their life according to their values and principles. They remind me of Changbin from Stray Kids. This person likes to make their own mind instead of following others. They’re a natural leader and a loner. With The Creator card and the Withdraw card from the Threads of fate deck, this tells me that this person is creative and works independently. They could be a fashion designer, a writer, a producer, a webdesigner, an architect, a freelance artist in any domain. This person could be known on social media. On the withdraw card is a sleeping fox. This tells me that this person likes their solitude. They need time alone to recharge and create. They don’t like showing people their tricks. They like to surprise and impress. The creator card shows a hand holding a wand. This for some reason reminds me of Harry Potter. Maybe your person is a potter head. In this case, they’re the typical Gryffindor : athletic, loyal, thinks with their heart (or something else a bit lower when the heart isn’t functioning). They have a strong sex drive and are pretty sensual. Their body matters a lot to them. They go to the gym often.
What do they bring to the table? - 2 of cups, ace of swords, page of wands, ace of pentacles, six of cups, The Tower, 7 of wands
To put it simply, they bring love, sex and a whole lot of fun. But this will be challenging for you, as you are not used to this type of energy. Significant zodiac signs are Scorpio, Sagittarius and Pisces. They bring in new opportunities and a new start romantically speaking. They bring in new experiences and that includes sexuality. They will help you reconnect with the past and make amends with it. They will help you heal your inner child and release trauma regarding intimacy. They will challenge you and push your buttons to get the best out of you. That is their way of showing you love. This is the type of person that will wake you up one morning and get you out of bed to work out with them, and gently scream at you positive affirmations while you’re working on that "summer body" you always wanted. They’ll show you how to have fun with life and explore all the hidden parts of you that you were burying because you were afraid of rejection. They’ll cut through your walls and uncover your masks for you so that you can finally get the happy ending that you deserve. They’ll be your knight in shining armor except that instead of saving you they’ll get you to save yourself. If you ever try to push them away, they’ll only come back stronger and needier. You won’t get rid of them easily.

🌳The Flowers of the Earth🌳
🌳Facts and Silly Things🌳
The Earth Engines are one of the most powerful engines, seeing as they can control the entire world around them.
The Earth is commonly seen as a feminine figure, the great mother; nourishment, fertility, infinite creativity, and/or longevity, and while some of the male engines may not be so feminine, they all take great honor in being connected with the planet that gives them all life, and they enjoy every day like it’s their last.
The Earth’s life-forms come in all different shapes, sizes and personalities, just like the engines that carry this great power.
They usually stay on the ground during battle and are excellent in defence and offence.
Like the earth, they can be quite unpredictable in battle and put up a good fight.
These engines are very much in line to their chakras and souls and use many herbs, plants, flowers, and the ground itself to meditate when things get stressful or they feel out of line with themselves.
Their powers will usually take control during meditation and when they do, the flowers on their heads will bloom, allowing plants and vines grow all over their body, and lots and lots of pollen will be created, so if you have allergies, it’s best to stay away from them during their meditation time XD.
If their meditation is interrupted, the plants will remove the intruder (sometimes aggressively) and resume the meditation.
Once it’s over, the plants will retreat back into the flower on their heads and the engines will feel refreshed, like they just had a great nap!
Their also amazing gardeners, and pretty good cooks and bakers.
This is a long shot that I’m adding to my au, but once the engines choose their element, they gain animalistic attributes of mammals that are native to their respective element. So Earth engines will have woodland animals like deer, sheep, mouse, rat, bear, reindeer, ect.
They are the first on the Divine Element's Wheel
They all have swords for a weapon, they do look different but it will always be a sword.
🌳Now onto their Prowess (Abilities)!🌳
Making plants, grass, trees, ect grow to use their herbs, petals, spices for cooking, medicine, ect.
Lifting any piece of Earth from the ground, like chunks of earth, sand, grass, plants, trees, ect.
Manipulating the world around them physically.
Summon their weapon from their flower crown.
Summon any plant and piece of ground from their fingertips.
Terraportation: Teleporting oneself by sliping into the ground (Think of Flowey exiting into the ground)
Baking wonderful treats and cooking great food! (Except Thomas, never let this man cook…)
Are pretty resilient to harsh weather conditions.
Literal Disney Princess'. They can befriend any animal and understand them.
They’re excellent healers, and can heal any wound, internal or external. But not mental wounds, sorry.
🌳What sets them apart from the other Elements?🌳
Aside from their earthly abilities, they all have a flower wrap-around earring, and each engine gets a different flower. Each flower has a special meaning that represent the engine and their personality. For example, Thomas has a hot pink Hyacinth which represents “Playful Joy” which definitely describes Thomas, being his cheeky self lol. Or like Paxton has Sunflowers which usually mean happiness and youthful bliss. They also have swords as their weapon. Each element will have their own weapon.
🌳Stained Glass/Portal to the Earth Garden🌳
🌳Sword: Earth's Signature Weapon🌳
🌳Tapestry🌳
🌳Roller Skate Mechanics🌳
🌳Sigil of The Earth🌳

Wolf Moon Practices
A Full Moon in Leo offers a potent time for practices that honour the bold, creative, and expressive aspects of yourself. Here are some magical and witchy practices you might consider for a Leo Full Moon ritual:
*Charge your crystals in the moonlight.
*Set out a bottle of pure water to soak in the Full Moon energy.
*Blow cinnamon across the threshold for abundance.
*Self-Love Ritual: Leo energy is about embracing your worth and celebrating your individuality. Carve out time to perform a self-love ritual. This could involve taking a luxurious bath with rose petals and essential oils, followed by anointing your body with a special oils while affirming your love and appreciation for yourself.
*Creative Expression: Use the Leo Full Moon to fuel your creative energy. Engage in activities that allow self-expression, such as painting, writing, dancing, or singing. You could also craft something magical, like a talisman or piece of jewelry that embodies the fiery energy of Leo.
*Fire Ceremony: Since Leo is a fire sign, working with fire can be particularly powerful. Under the Full Moon, write down what you wish to release on pieces of paper. Safely burn them in a cauldron or fire-safe container, visualizing your intentions being sent out into the Universe.
*Heart Chakra Work: Leo rules the heart, so focus on your heart chakra. Meditate with green or pink stones like rose quartz, green aventurine, or malachite. Visualize your heart chakra opening and healing, your capacity for love growing stronger.
*Dress in Gold and Red: Embrace Leo's regal nature by wearing gold, red, or orange. These colours amplify the bold energy of the sign and can make your rituals feel more potent.
*Dramatic Affirmations: Leo loves drama and the spotlight, so don't shy away from affirmations that are grand and flamboyant. Stand tall and declare your intentions with confidence and power under the light of the Full Moon.
*Tarot Spread for Self-Discovery: Perform a tarot or oracle card reading that focuses on self-discovery, leadership, and personal growth. Ask the cards how you can best harness your inner strength and creative power.
*Meditation on Personal Power: Sit under the moonlight and meditate on where your personal power lies and how you can best use it. Visualize a golden light emanating from within, symbolizing your inner strength and confidence.
*Feast Fit for a Monarch: Celebrate with a special meal to honour the abundance in your life. Share the feast with loved ones or enjoy it by yourself, savouring each bite and expressing gratitude for the blessings in your life.
*Spellwork for Boldness and Success: On a Full Moon in Leo, spells for courage, success, recognition, and romance are particularly effective. Craft a spell incorporating herbs associated with Leo like sunflower, bay leaf, or cinnamon and set your intentions clearly. The most important aspect of any witchy practice is your intention. Align your rituals with the lunar energy and your personal energies to make the most of the Full Moon in Leo.

[KKIR] Reading between the petals
(posted on AO3)
-
Time is an inescapable blunt tool. It erodes rock, it flattens mountains and, it'd seem, it even chips at old reverence for childhood authority figures.
Or so Iruka concludes from the many leers Ino feels entirely too free to throw his way when he walks into the Yamanaka shop.
It's the third time in as many weeks.
"It's a beautiful day, isn't it, Iruka-sensei?"
He side eyes her in mild distrust, perusing the day's freshest arrivals.
"Are we going for carnations today?" she asks, falling into step beside him.
She's shrewd enough that Iruka doesn't feel too bad about ruining her hopes for a tale of romance. "Ah, no. But I quite like the look of those anemones."
"Ooh, feeling like white, then! What do you say of these inviting cactus flowers, hm?"
His gaze on her turns sharp. "You are aware I teach some hanakotoba, right?"
"Sensei, I'd never--"
He snorts, irritation softened by amusement at how little effort she's even putting in her innocent act. Lust and sex, really? The cheek of it.
Under Iruka's instructions, she gathers some of the white anemones with a sigh.
"You're right,” she relents while she works, “cactus flowers are a more... involved sort of gift. Some gardenia to go along, then?"
The flower of secret love.
"Oh for the love of..." His sputtering ends in laughter. "It's not--I'm going to visit a friend at the hospital!" He deliberates for a beat then points at a cluster of perfectly respectable daffodils5. "Those too, please. And that'll be all."
"Ah yes, how is Kakashi-sensei?" she asks, eyes shrewd, while plucking the flowers out of their water.
He hums noncommittally, refusing the invitation to gossip. "Healing."
"I'm sure your company must be helping."
He shrugs. "So long as it's not doing the opposite."
"With how often you go, I should hope so."
Her grin is teasing and blinding while she arranges the white anemones around a yellow core of daffodils to stress the sincerity of the message. He watches her work, swift and competent, and feels a surge of pride at the skillful young woman she's become.
Nevertheless, he can't help but tease. He waits until she's just about done, already cutting a piece of wrapper, to let his eyes lose focus in thought.
"Hm," he says in pointed wonder, "I changed my mind. Why not add a single yellow tulip in the middle?"
She stills, clearly warring with the common pains of customer service.
Her eagerness wins out in the end, and Iruka leaves with a lovely bouquet and the echo of a chirped wish of good luck.
-
Kakashi goes thoughtfully quiet at the sight of the bouquet, his piercing eyes following Iruka around as the teacher empties the plain vase in the room from its wilting peonies and stale water, then rinses it to make it a proper home for their replacement.
He clears his throat, sounding unusually hesitant.
"Iruka-sensei... How's your knowledge of hanakotoba?"
Iruka ducks his head to hide a grin.
"Ah, I'm but a mere Academy teacher," is his non-answer. "These come from the Yamanaka shop."
Probably racking his brains for memories of the courses taught pre-genin, and coming up empty from his own too speedy graduation, Kakashi's left narrowing his eyes in suspicion. After being hounded by a former student in a flower shop, Iruka finds it fair to be on the other side of that look.
But he did come for a reason, and it wasn't to be a nuisance. He drags a chair over to the bed.
"Alright, what's new?" he says by way of a prompt.
For a moment, Kakashi stares at him like he's trying to see past his skull. Then he relents, posture going loose. The urge to spin grand tales of hospital gossip is too great, especially when they're made even wilder by the boredom of the slow pace of chakra recovery.
Though a lot of it, Iruka suspects, is also borne from a personal challenge to see how many bits and pieces of Icha Icha scenes he can cram in before Iruka combusts. Joke's on him: Iruka hasn't read any of it so he doesn't know when he should be distinctly scandalized.
Mostly, he laughs. He may never again be able to look nurse Midori in the eye, but that's a problem for future him.
When Kakashi's done, Iruka hands him a glass of water and averts his eyes to give him privacy.
Whatever inspired Gai to ask Iruka, of all people, to look after Kakashi while he's away on a mission, makes it as much an honor as it is a curse. The time they spend together is very precious to him but the niggling feeling that he's intruding hounds him at all times.
He looks at the clock and pats his thighs regretfully. "Ah, I should be going," he says, pushing to his feet.
He could swear he catches a flash of disappointment in Kakashi's visible eye but it's probably wishful thinking. Hard to read a man who keeps three quarters of his face hidden, after all.
Kakashi clears his throat. "Iruka-sensei, before you go," he says, patting the bedside table, "could you bring the flowers closer? They're a bit lonely over there."
Though he fights off a blush, Iruka can't very well refuse. He picks up the vase and, with Kakashi's help hastily pushing aside and stacking the few other items on the table, sets it carefully near the bed.
"It's a very bright one this time," Kakashi says, touching the edges of an anemone.
Iruka rubs the scar on his nose. "Ah, yes. I hoped it would bring some color to the room. It can't be easy, such a long hospital stay."
"Hm," Kakashi hums absently, hands skimming the top of each flower. "You've been helping," he adds, right before plucking the yellow tulip out of the water.
There are probably worthier reasons to feel dread but at the moment Iruka can't quite think of a better one. He clamps his mouth shut and grits his teeth.
You shouldn't play clever around people much smarter than you. By now he should know this.
"I don't think this is the right color," Kakashi says slowly, giving the flower lazy twirls rubbing the stem between his fingers.
Iruka almost gasps in relief. "Absolutely, I--"
But Kakashi frowns and he falls quiet in apprehension.
"What I meant is, you shouldn't have given me this flower," Kakashi rephrases, and Iruka feels his blood turn to ice in his veins.
What's a moment of mortification in the scale of a life? He tucks his chin in and looks away, breathing shallowly as he waits it out.
Kakashi's aggravated groan isn't enough to make him raise his eyes. "That's not what I--" Kakashi begins saying before cutting himself off with a whole body jitter of frustration. "You don't have to give me this flower."
"I heard you," Iruka says leadenly, barely recognizing his own voice.
"You really aren't," Kakashi mutters half to himself, sounding almost sad about it. Deciding this has gone on long enough, Iruka steels himself and looks up stiffly. "It won't happen again," he assures with a wooden nod before adding: "I really should get going."
Kakashi heaves a faintly bittersweet sigh.
"You really are one of those blunt types, aren't you?" he asks, and it's a testament to how devastatingly fond he sounds that Iruka doesn't bristle.
Kakashi drops the tulip in his lap and reaches a hand out, brushing the back of his fingers against Iruka's knuckles while holding his gaze with terrifying intensity. "Iruka. It's not one-sided."
And that's...
"Ah," Iruka says, which must be the single dimmest reaction to a confession of affection ever uttered.
Kakashi doesn't take offense. If anything he seems gently amused. His forefinger briefly hooks with Iruka's for a barely there squeeze before he brings his hand back to his lap.
Iruka tries to swallow past a dry throat. It takes him a few tries.
"I, uh, I didn't--" he stammers, shuffling his feet.
"I noticed," Kakashi says with a suspicious movement to his mask like he's biting his lips.
Iruka narrows his eyes. "You better not be laughing at me."
"I'm not," Kakashi says, which is a flat out lie. "I'm just happy," he adds, at which point Iruka just combusts.
Kakashi takes pity on him.
"I should be out in a couple of days. What would you say about getting lunch?"
It dawns on Iruka then, that this is a thing that's happening. Somehow. It's frightening, but what makes it frightening, the reality of it, is also what finally helps him settle back into himself. A bit like a tide receding and taking away the mess from its shores.
He closes his eyes and breathes in deep.
"I'd like that," he says softly once he's done, feeling himself smile down at Kakashi.
He's still blushing, he knows, but he can't help it, just lets it take over, chest swelling with hope and affection.
Kakashi's the once looking faintly light-headed when he finally leaves.
-
On that evening, he gets a 'we don't usually do this but I'm making an exception' delivery from a delighted Ino.
It's a bouquet of carnations.
-
1. Carnation: "Fascination, distinction, love" 2. Anemone (white): "Sincerity" 3. Cactus flower: "Lust, sex" 4. Gardenia: "Secret love" 5. Daffodils: "Respect" 6. Yellow tulip: "One sided love" 7. Peonies: "Bravery"

The crown chakra is perhaps the most mystical of all chakras.
Located at the top of the head, it sits like a crown, governing the pituitary gland.
It is represented by the color purple or white, and its pictorial presentation is that of a purple flower with a thousand petals.
In today’s guide we’ll be talking a closer look at how the crown chakra works as well as giving you some simple but powerful tips for healing and crown chakra effectively.
An underdeveloped crown chakra usually manifests itself as close-mindedness and cynicism about life. Individuals with a blocked crown chakra may also have a hard time letting go of the need to intellectualize everything and may want to look for logical answers to all the mysterious things they may encounter in life. In addition, a malfunctioning crown chakra may put you in the peculiar state of obsession with spirituality and spiritual matters, as well as the need to want to get away from an environment that seems too stimulating when it comes to harsh light and sounds. Mystical depression, chronic exhaustion and disorders of the muscular system all show up when there is an imbalance of the crown chakra.
A healthy crown chakra, on the other hand, allows us to be stellar humanitarians that make it easy to see how we’re all interconnected. On top of that, we may have a highly developed sense of ethics and personal values that we won’t compromise for anyone or anything. A healthy crown chakra also leads us down the path of spirituality, connecting us to the divine source energy that is also known as God. We are able to build an identity that’s not connected to outside things, and we are more likely to trust others and give of ourselves in a selfless manner.
Here are a couple of things you can do to balance your crown chakra:
Give up fluoride. This substance is found in treated water as well as toothpaste, and it has the potential to calcify the pituitary gland. Opt for fluoride-free toothpaste, and look into purchasing soft water that’s not been treated using harsh chemicals.
Take time out to meditate at least once a day. This helps you build a connection with the Source in a gradual fashion. The meditation you perform doesn’t have to be attached to a particular religious doctrine; whichever religion or God you subscribe will be right for you.
Let go of attachment to things and titles since these are what make us develop an ego that is unhealthy. You need to realize that your essence is not who you are or how much you make or even where you live. You are a valid member of the universe that can be the best they can be regardless of these trappings.
At the end of the day, balancing your crown chakra can go a long way in ensuring that prana moves through your body the way it should.

Module 1: The Gateway to Inner Stillness
In this opening week, we gently step into the timeless practice of meditation—an ancient doorway through which countless seekers have passed on their journey to inner peace and self-realization. Meditation is the art of quieting the mind, but it is also much more: it is the sacred meeting place between the self and the universe, where silence speaks and stillness reveals the truths that words cannot.
We begin by exploring the origins of meditation, a practice woven into the spiritual tapestry of Buddhism, Hinduism, and even modern psychology. Here, we will rediscover what it means to sit in stillness, to breathe with purpose, and to listen to the whispers of our own souls. Meditation, in its essence, is a bridge that connects us to the divine both within and around us.
Mindfulness, a companion to meditation, is the art of being fully present, the ability to embrace each moment as it is without judgment or resistance. Through mindfulness, we cultivate a deep awareness of life’s sacred simplicity, allowing the mundane to transform into the magical. As we walk through this week, mindfulness will begin to infuse every part of your daily life, bringing light to places you may not have noticed before.
But this journey is not merely spiritual—it is also deeply transformative for the body and mind. The practice of meditation offers innumerable gifts: it softens the rough edges of stress, sharpens the mind’s focus, strengthens emotional resilience, and awakens the soul to a higher state of being. We will explore how these practices nourish both our physical and emotional well-being, gently rewiring the brain for peace, calm, and balance.
Finally, we will delve into the beautiful dance between science and spirituality. Modern research has begun to uncover the profound physiological and neurological changes that meditation brings: from altering brainwaves to reducing stress hormones, this ancient practice is now recognized as a powerful healer of the body and mind. As you journey through these teachings, you will learn how meditation not only quiets the chaos of everyday life but also transforms your very being.
What is Meditation?:
Understanding the practice and its origins in different spiritual traditions (Buddhism, Hinduism, and modern psychology).
Meditation is the sacred art of stillness, a journey inward to the heart of the soul. Rooted in the timeless wisdom of ancient traditions—Buddhism, Hinduism, and carried through modern understanding—meditation serves as a bridge between the physical and the divine. It is a practice that transcends the ages, inviting us to step beyond the noise of the world and into the quiet, eternal presence of being.
Meditation is the ancient key that unlocks the door to the soul, a practice passed down through the ages by sages and seekers alike. Its roots stretch deep into the sacred soils of spiritual traditions such as Buddhism and Hinduism, where it was revered as the path to enlightenment, a way to quiet the restless mind and touch the infinite. In more recent times, even modern psychology has begun to understand its profound impact on the mind and spirit, acknowledging the harmony it brings to those who embrace it.
At its heart, meditation is not merely an act of sitting in silence, but a sacred ritual that connects us to the pulse of the universe and to the truth that lies within. It is the stillness amidst the storm, the sanctuary where we return to ourselves, free from the distractions of the outer world. Through its gentle guidance, we learn to cultivate mindfulness—the ability to witness the present moment with tenderness and clarity. In this space of quiet observation, the noise of life falls away, and we are left with a profound sense of inner peace, as if we are breathing with the rhythm of the cosmos itself.
Meditation invites us to dive deeper into the wellspring of our being, to forge a connection with the self that transcends the superficial layers of identity. It whispers to us of our true nature, guiding us back to the still point where the mind rests and the soul awakens. Through this practice, we rediscover our essence, nourishing the inner peace that blooms in the heart when we are aligned with the eternal now.

---
Module 1: Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness (Week 1)
Day 1: What is Meditation?
Lesson: A gentle introduction to the history and purpose of meditation, covering its roots in spiritual traditions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, and modern psychology. Explain how meditation helps cultivate mindfulness, inner peace, and a deeper connection with the self.
Daily Practice: Begin with a 5-minute guided meditation focusing on breath awareness. Keep it simple and brief, encouraging students to just sit, close their eyes, and breathe naturally.
For Day 1's Daily Practice, here’s an expanded and spiritually poetic version:
---
Daily Practice: The Breath of Stillness
Today, we begin our sacred journey with a simple yet profound practice: the art of mindful breathing. Find a quiet space where the noise of the world fades away, and the whispers of your inner self can be heard. As you settle into this space, close your eyes gently, and allow your body to relax, as if each exhale is a release, a surrender to the present moment.
Place your attention on your breath—the first breath you took when you entered this world, the breath that has carried you through every moment since. Inhale deeply, feeling the cool air fill your lungs, nourishing every cell within you. Exhale slowly, letting go of tension, doubt, or distraction, releasing them like leaves carried away by the wind.
As you breathe, imagine that with each inhale, you are drawing in the essence of life itself—peace, clarity, and light filling your being. And with each exhale, you are releasing all that no longer serves you, emptying yourself of stress, worries, and heaviness. In this sacred exchange of breath, you begin to feel the rhythm of the universe within you, a reminder that you are deeply connected to something greater than yourself.
Let your breath be your anchor. When thoughts arise, gently observe them as clouds passing across a clear sky, and return, again and again, to the breath. Each inhale, a return to the present moment. Each exhale, a letting go, a softening into stillness.
As you continue this practice for 5 minutes, allow yourself to become fully absorbed in the simplicity of just being—no striving, no doing, just breathing. Here, in the quiet space between breaths, the mind rests, and the spirit begins to awaken.
---
This spiritually poetic expansion of Day 1’s practice helps guide the student into a deeper, more intentional meditation, setting a reflective tone for their journey.
Reflection: Journal prompt – "What does stillness feel like for me? How do I feel when I give myself permission to be quiet?"
Here’s an expanded and spiritually poetic version of the Day 1 Reflection:
---
Reflection: Embracing the Echoes of Stillness
As you step out of your meditation and return to the world, take a moment to honor the stillness you have just created within. Like the gentle ripple of water that expands outward after a stone is cast, the calm of your breath extends beyond the meditation, touching every corner of your being.
Now, with journal in hand, reflect on your experience. Ask yourself: What did I feel in the depths of this stillness? Perhaps, for the first time in a long while, you felt a sense of peace—a soft whisper from within, reminding you that in the quiet, you are whole. Or perhaps the mind resisted, restless like waves against the shore. Honor both experiences, for they are part of this sacred unfolding.
Consider, too, the sensations of your body during the practice. How did your breath feel as it moved through you, like a river gently flowing through a landscape? Did you notice moments of tension or ease? Did you feel your body soften into the present, or was it holding onto something yet unspoken? Reflect on how the simple act of breathing, of being, brought you into communion with your body and spirit.
What does it mean to truly let go? As you exhaled, did you feel the release of what no longer serves you—the doubts, the fears, the busyness of the mind? Or perhaps you held on, even without realizing it, feeling the weight of thoughts clinging to the edges of your awareness. In either case, write freely, knowing that each breath and each word brings you closer to understanding.
Finally, ask yourself: What does it mean to return to this breath, to this moment? Reflect on the beauty of this simplicity, this return to the essence of who you are. In your journal, describe what it feels like to meet yourself in this space of stillness, as if you are rediscovering a long-lost friend. Does the stillness offer you comfort, or does it reveal new questions about your journey?
Let your words flow without judgment, like your breath. Let this reflection be a sanctuary where you can explore your inner landscape and celebrate the first steps of your journey into meditation. With each word, with each breath, you are opening the door to something deeper, something sacred that has always been waiting for you within.
---
This expanded reflection invites the student to delve deeply into their first experience of meditation, encouraging self-inquiry, awareness of the body, and the unfolding of spiritual insights. It allows them to explore their inner world with grace, curiosity, and poetic reflection.
Day 2: What is Mindfulness?
Lesson: Explore the concept of mindfulness. Teach students that mindfulness is the art of paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, and without judgment. Explain the difference between mindfulness and meditation.
Daily Practice: A 5-minute body scan meditation. Guide students through a mindfulness exercise where they bring awareness to different parts of the body, releasing tension and bringing their attention back to the breath.
Reflection: Journal prompt – "How does it feel to pay close attention to my body? Where do I hold tension, and how can I release it?"
Day 3: The Benefits of Meditation and Mindfulness
Lesson: Educate students on the physiological, emotional, and spiritual benefits of meditation and mindfulness. Discuss the effects on stress, focus, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. Share scientific studies that show how meditation changes brain structure and function.
Daily Practice: Extend the guided meditation to 10 minutes. Encourage students to focus on their breath and notice when the mind wanders, gently bringing it back to the present.
Reflection: Journal prompt – "What benefit of meditation and mindfulness do I most look forward to experiencing? How do I feel after meditating for 10 minutes?"
Day 4: The Science Behind Meditation
Lesson: Delve into the neuroscience of meditation. Explain how regular meditation affects brainwaves, reduces the stress response (fight or flight), and improves concentration and emotional regulation. Offer students insight into the long-term impact of meditation on brain health.
Daily Practice: Mindful breathing meditation. For 10 minutes, students will focus on their breath, but this time, they will observe how the breath affects their body and mind. The focus should be on deep, calming breaths.
Reflection: Journal prompt – "How does my body respond to deep breathing? What changes do I notice in my mental or emotional state during and after breathing mindfully?"
Day 5: Creating a Sacred Space for Meditation
Lesson: Teach students how to create a meditation space at home. Discuss the importance of creating a quiet, comfortable, and sacred space that invites peace and tranquility. Encourage them to add elements like candles, incense, cushions, or plants to enhance the experience.
Daily Practice: A short 10-minute visualization meditation where students imagine creating their sacred meditation space. Guide them through a visualization of their ideal place for inner stillness.
Reflection: Journal prompt – "What does my ideal meditation space look and feel like? How does creating a sacred space influence my experience?"
Day 6: Setting Intentions for Meditation
Lesson: The importance of setting intentions before each meditation session. Explain how intentions guide the meditative process, allowing students to focus on what they want to achieve—whether it’s inner peace, healing, focus, or self-discovery.
Daily Practice: A 15-minute meditation on intention-setting. Guide students to choose an intention for their meditation (e.g., "I intend to be at peace" or "I intend to be present"). Teach them to focus on this intention during the session.
Reflection: Journal prompt – "What intention did I set for today’s meditation? How did focusing on an intention change my experience?"
Day 7: Review and Reflect
Lesson: A recap of the week’s lessons, summarizing key concepts such as what meditation is, the power of mindfulness, and the science behind it. Encourage students to reflect on their progress so far and consider any challenges they’ve encountered.
Daily Practice: A 20-minute guided meditation that incorporates everything they’ve learned: mindfulness of breath, body awareness, intention-setting, and creating a peaceful space.
Reflection: Journal prompt – "How have I changed or grown over the past week? What has been the most rewarding part of starting my meditation practice?"
---

BELLUM. so. OBVIOUSLY. Hitomi isn't a shinobi.
she's a civilian nurse, who got caught up in the world of shinobi by accident. but even a civilian has chakra, even if hers is ... a bit pitiful.
the one good thing that came of her being trapped in Orochimaru's clutches (other than the Sound babies now having a mama) is that she's been practicing like HELL to manifest and grow her chakra reserves, for the simple purpose of being a better healer and being able to help those she cars about in a bigger way
her current / soon to be developed techniques are pretty rudimentary, but as follows ...
chakra scalpel. self-explanatory, what it says on the tin, she can manifest a scalpel made of chakra. useful for performing surgeries or in close-range battle ... except that the one she can currently manifest is VERY small. it really is about the size of a standard physical scalpel, so it would do her exactly no favors in combat.
chakra shield. again, self-explanatory. it's a shield made of chakra she can manifest to protect herself or others. (usually others.) it's bigger than her scalpel, but it's also quite thin, meaning that any hit stronger than the force of a punch will likely shatter it. she can also throw it to use as a weapon, but it's unreliable and fragile and her aim is pathetic.
chakra wash. a diagnostic tool which allows her to 'push' her chakra (or a small bit of it) through someone else's chakra pathway. using this can be incredibly effective in finding blockages or investigating exactly what someone's problem is. the big drawback is that she has poor control over it and terrible stamina when using it. if she doesn't have some small idea of where the problem might be, she physically cannot push her chakra through their entire network to explore ; she'll end up passing out from overexertion long before she gets even a quarter through their whole system. the upside is that if she does have an idea of where the problem is, she might be able to discover some information about it by doing the chakra wash.
chakra clearing. similar to the chakra wash, but an actual treatment instead of a diagnostic tool. she can push her chakra into someone else's chakra pathway, and break up or clear a blockage of chakra. currently she can only clear very small blocks, but with more practice this ability will get stronger.
healing chakra / chakra infusion. fairly standard technique for healers. she can infuse someone with her chakra to give them a boost of health. at her current level, an infusion of all the chakra she can spare will allow small cuts and bruises to heal. as she builds up her chakra reserves, she will get to the point where she can help heal more serious injuries.
' Kampo bloom '. an infusion technique specific to Hitomi, inspired by the love of flowers she shares with Kimimaro and named after a traditional Japanese blend of healing herbs, kampo. she can send 'chakra petals' around her, aimed at other people, for an infusion healing. her current chakra reserves make it impossible for her to use this to heal more than one or two tiny cuts or bruises, because the chakra bloom splits her available healing reserves between two to five petals. after she builds up her reserves, each petal will eventually be able to heal all small cuts and bruises ; but because itls being split, she likely will be unable to heal more serious injuries of multiple people using this technique.
#is that a fucking gremlin ?? ( OOC. )#that's what I think anyway ! ( HEADCANON. )#you can right all the wrongs just to feel you belong. ( HITOMI. )#(( yes hi hello I'm thinking about MY GIRL ))

Physical Properties
Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-stress, B Vitamins.
Magical Properties
Protection, Love, Self Love, Healing, Attraction, Banish Harm, Remove Negativity, Beauty, Compassion, Creativity, Luck, Loyalty, Money, New Starts, Peace, Romance.
Magical Uses:
Rose Water – Boil the petals in the water for anywhere between 5 and 20 mins, Let the water cool completely and strain, Store in the fridge to use in spells Or freeze into ice cubes to use in your beauty routine in the morning.
Self-Love Spell Jar – Making a spell jar is a fun and powerful practice, it's a very personal practice with ingredients being up to the caster. Personally, I love to add a sigil inside, with crystal chips corresponding to what the jar is for. Rose petals are a great addition to a self-love spell jar along with lavender, rose quartz chips, pink salts, rosemary, peppercorn and brown sugar. The best thing about spell jars is there is no right or wrong answer, research your herbs, flowers and even the items in the back of your cupboard, and finish with a candle. Pink in this case for self-love.
Ritual Rose Petal Bath – Ritual bath soaks can be a small thing, a few bath salts, some rose petals and candles. Nice and simple. Relax in the warm water, and focus on your intent. While you can do this at any time on the night of a full or new moon will be extra powerful. Add in herbs, flowers, oils, salts and whatever else you feel is fitting.
Offering – Rose Petals can be offered to deities, everyone will have their own way of doing this. Though generally, it will involve placing the petals either on their own or with other herbs and flowers liked by the deity onto your alter and thanking the deity for being with you. Roses are a great offering for Aphrodite.
Money Poppet – Place rose petals into a money poppet along with basil, cinnamon, cloves and thyme for drawing abundance and wealth. Add all these along with a coin and seal, and carry your poppet with you. Alternatively add a few rose petals into your purse or wallet to draw wealth.

Corvid Favorites: Chamomile
Another thrilling installment of ‘Corvid Favorites’! This time, I’ll be speaking on Chamomile and it’s lovely properties, both medicinally and magickally.
The Chamomile that we know and love is typically one of two species of daisy-like plants of the Asteraceae family: the Matricaria Recutita (German Chamomile) and Anthemis Nobilis (Roman Chamomile). What's the difference? German Chamomile is an annual that has a cone like center with petals that flare out from the center; German Chamomile are also smooth stemmed and grow similar to baby's breath. Roman Chamomile is a perennial that has a more fern-like stem and has feathery-like petals. (See image below. Left: German Chamomile. Right: Roman Chamomile.)
Associations:
➣ Element: Water ➣ Chakra: Throat ➣ Planet: Sun ➣ Zodiac Affiliations: Capricorn, Leo
Properties:
➣ Love ➣ Money ➣ Purification ➣ Sleep ➣ Healing ➣ Protection
Uses:
Medicinally - The biggest and probably most known medicinal use Chamomile is known for is as a sleep aid. As a natural sedative, it's a wonderful combatant against anxiety and insomnia. It's also anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, aids with digestion and other gastrointestinal issues, aids in relieving nausea and vomiting, and has been used to treat fevers in children.
Magickally - Washing your hands with Chamomile is said to increase your luck before gambling. Sprinkling it around the home or inside the home is a safe alternative to salt or smoke cleansing and protection, and it's also fur baby safe (Word of caution: Cats tend to be more sensitive than Dogs to Chamomile). Add it into a bath for some added deep relaxation and peaceful intentions. Drink a nice, hot cup of Chamomile tea to aid in meditation and setting up a peaceful mind.

My last entry for @ssskmonth | Prompts used Festivals and Family
Kin
Summary: When Sasuke struggles with letting go of pain from his past, Sakura and Sarada remind him that he doesn't have to do this alone.
Rating: Mature
_
“Anata?”
Sasuke stopped dusting off the shelves and looked over in Sakura’s direction. He frowned though, seeing Sakura perched on a stool dangerously, trying to clean the cobwebs of their apartment.
“I was asking…” Sakura scrunched her face in displeasure. She hadn't realized when she had left with Sasuke on his journey that it could bring this much work.
A week ago, when they unlocked the door of their apartment, back after a year with their three-month-old daughter, they had realized making their home habitable again wasn't going to be easy. The exhaustion of their journey back to Konoha hadn’t left their souls, but the Uchiha couple prioritized cleaning over resting.
Sasuke walked over to her and steadied her wobbling stool.
“What?”
Sleep deprivation had left him cranky. He had hoped that Sarada's wailing would cease after they had moved from roads to Konoha. Although he was glad that she was more safe under a roof, it hadn’t stopped her from crying the whole night.
Sakura caught the irritation laced in his voice, and considered whether she should say what she was about to.
“Obon is in two days..." She spoke cautiously, busy with her work. "I was asking if you want to…” She trailed off again, not sure how to phrase this.
“Obon?” Sasuke looked up in her direction. He was about to ask her again, when he realized. “Obon.”
Sakura turned, facing him, and asked nervously, “Should we?”
In all these years, he had never celebrated Obon. When he was a child, he remembered his mother strictly following rituals, preparing to welcome the spirits of their clan's ancestors.
He realized that although he always carried his long gone family in his heart, he never had given any damn about the festival.
“Aah,” he agreed.
Sakura's face lit up with a wide grin, but that died off when they heard Sarada crying at the top of her lungs.
While Sasuke rushed to attend Sarada, Sakura wrestled with more dust and ended up coughing.
Although Sarada’s shrill cries bore holes in his eardrum, all the chaos of his new-formed family had settled down all the internal chaos that he had carried for years.
_
Sasuke stirred out of his slumber engulfed with warmth . Sakura's body was pressed against his back, her arm snuggly thrown around him. Sarada had been quiet after days, and he felt fully rested, refreshed after a sleep devoid of nightmares too.
The light filtering from the curtain told him it was still early, and Sakura's breaths on his neck made him want to wake her up and kiss her numb. He had lost count of the number of days he had felt her bare skin on his, slowly and passionately driving her crazy. The days and nights after Sarada’s birth went by changing diapers and trying to understand the meaning between different kinds of cries, which he hadn't quite mastered yet.
Sasuke was tempted even further when Sakura pressed her lips on his neck and murmured 'morning,' her pert nipples brushing against his muscular back. Sasuke suppressed a gasp, his twitching member, and the urge to reciprocate his wife's desire. He gently pried away from his wife's leg, and regretted it when Sakura retracted herself from him.
"Anata?" Sakura sat up with a myriad of emotions on her face — confusion, hurt and rejection.
Sasuke didn't want to make her feel like that.
"I… I'm going to visit my parents' grave."
Sakura nodded and smiled, her features relaxing.
Sasuke never thought that gulping down the guilt of neglecting his dead family could be that easy.
_
Sasuke sauntered through the path that led to his parents' grave. The place was cold and distant like his heart had been for many years. Neglected even, he mused.
He stopped when he found the stone that bore his parents' name. Uchiha Mikoto and Uchiha Fugaku — names engraved with such beauty that was ironic considering the way they had died. A surge of rage and emotions pumped through his veins in a way that he was too familiar with — it had made him a person of sins that he was still redeeming for.
He stood there unable to repress the painful memories that had seeped from his past like a poison. His surroundings reverberated with the screams and blood that painted his nightmares.
Years of redemption had seemingly healed his wounds, but the sharpness of the past always cut, and the wounds bleed as they always had.
Unable to anchor himself, he looked anywhere but his parents' name. His eyes darted across the ungrazed grass, wild flowers, and puddles formed by summer rain. Stubborn weeds creeping over his parents grave, like the past that was attached to him.
His eyes caught something. And there it is, he mused again. A small pink wildflower intertwined with weeds, facing the sun. A gentle breeze that made its petals gleam in the sunlight reminded him of Sakura's unwavering love. The love that had waited for him through his sins and redemption — love that assured him every day that he no longer was in the darkness alone — love that gave him Sarada.
He crouched down, sighing. The summer heat was getting unbearable, and beads of sweat rolled down from his forehead. This reminded he should get going. Sometimes Sarada got all fussy, and it was hard for Sakura to manage her alone. Although his heart was heavy when his eyes glided over the name of his parents again, he smiled thinking about his new family.
Sasuke traced his finger on kanji of his mother's name, dirt gathering on his finger tip. He picked up the rag that he had brought with him and scrubbed the dirt and mud from the stones. With every swipe of the rag, the images of lifeless bodies of his parents became clearer in his mind. His fingers twitched, but he did his work diligently. The dirt from his parents' name was gone now, like the blood from the wooden floor that had pooled out from his parents' bodies.
Shaking his thoughts off, he held his shirt sleeve with his teeth and rolled it upwards. He went on plucking the weeds, wishing if it was this easy to pluck away memories of his past. There was a hopeful part of him — a little part — thought that with time, the pain of his lost family would wash away, but maybe hope wasn't a thing for Uchiha Sasuke.
He bid adieu to his dead parents, and got up to leave. As he walked away, he looked back over his shoulder to get a peek of the pink flower that remained. The pink flower that had grown in his life — accepting him and his past.
_
As he reached the threshold of his house, he stiffened when he couldn’t feel the familiar chakras he was accustomed to.
He looked around and found Sakura had almost finished cleaning their house. Bookshelves no longer had cobwebs, the white sheets had been removed from the furniture, and the floor was polished.
“Sakura?”
He was answered by the empty hallways and a note. It was a note from Sakura that said she was going out for grocery shopping.
He ran fingers through his hair, sighing, and walked towards the kitchen. He decided to cook a proper lunch. They had been surviving on simple food after they had returned, courtesy of Sarada's fussiness. It amazed him sometimes how their child managed to command all their attention.
Sakura always jokingly complained that it was something Sarada definitely had inherited from him. Sakura boasted that she was a quiet infant, and her parents always backed her up. Sometimes he felt a tinge of jealousy at that.
He opened the fridge and grabbed the leftover rations that they had, and he remembered Naruto grumbling about something similar. He knew he shouldn't find that soothing, but he realized in that aspect he wasn't alone.
In fact, he wasn't alone at all anymore.
Sasuke delved into cooking, but as time ticked on, he got impatient. He decided to go out and look for them. Something made him scared that he couldn't pinpoint.
As he was going to turn the stove off, he heard the click of the door knob. He heard Sakura calling him and responded.
Relief washed through him as Sakura approached him. He had been worrying over nothing. Perhaps his heart was still as fragile as his younger self's. Too afraid to lose, yet too afraid to accept his weakness.
Sakura kept the bag of groceries, grinning widely at him before she complimented the smell of the food. He was captivated by her green eyes, but his daughter seemed to have his attention now. Sarada happily clapped her hands on seeing him and wiggled in her baby sling to reach for him.
Sasuke bent down, and Sarada reached for his cheeks and patted them with her small hands, grinning toothlessly. This was Sarada's way to embrace, Sakura had told him once. Sasuke kissed her little palm before straightening himself.
"When did you return? We were sort of feeling alone, so we decided to make a quick trip to the market. "Ne, Sarada-chan?" Sakura cooed, rubbing her nose on Sarada's head, and Sarada giggled, agreeing with her.
"But someone had more fun than she expected." Sakura tickled Sarada, and she joined her in fits of laughter.
A smile slipped past his lips, and all the heaviness that had settled in his heart from that morning began to dissipate.
"She seemed to be in a good mood," Sasuke commented, looking for something from the bag.
"Yes." Sakura hummed, sifting her fingers through Sarada's hair.
His eyes lingered on them, before he started grating ginger.
"Umm, Anata? Isn't that too much?" Sakura pointed out.
Sasuke nodded, but he added it to the pan and said, "Father always liked it this way."
Sakura blinked. She didn't know how to respond. Sasuke rarely talked about his parents, so she stood there just nodding.
The space between them stilled, with only sounds of food sizzling on the pan and Sarada's squeals.
"Father used to love the spice of ginger, so Mother used to cook like this," Sasuke explained.
"I see," Sakura replied, excitement spiking in her voice.
"Mother also added less Mirin than required," Sasuke went on, and Sakura listened raptly, watching him while he cooked Gyudon.
Sakura didn't miss the melancholy in his eyes when Sasuke said that Gyudon was his father's favourite, and it stirred Sakura's heart
Sakura knew the things which are gone always hurt, but she knew too it took time to heal them. So when Sasuke told her bits of his family, she was glad that Sasuke talked about them without any resentment — sharing his lost happiness with her. She wanted to thank him, so Sakura tiptoed, her arms wrapping around Sarada, and she pecked on Sasuke's cheek.
It was unexpected, and Sasuke stared wide-eyed at the contents in the pan, while the tips of his ears turned red.
"I'll remember this when I cook next time," Sakura blushed.
Sasuke nodded, smirking.
Sarada wiggled in her sling to reach for Sasuke again while Sakura giggled and commented on how restless she was growing.
The house, the people, and the meal he had once shared together with his parents were long gone for him, but now he saw himself in Sarada who was trying to get her father's attention like he used to. He realized time had its own way to fix things.
_
Sasuke watched the sky, summer clouds lazily drifting and strings of smoke whirling between them. The smell of smoke from the neighborhood mingled with the evening breeze, and he felt nostalgic.
His clan breathed fire, and where there was fire, there was smoke. He remembered tasting the bitterness of smoke that lingered on his tongue when his lungs had flamed out a great fireball in childhood. He’d been excited to share his experience, and Itachi had confirmed with his too gentle smile that he had felt the same way
It was a memory that had been long forgotten. Years and years of using katon jutsus and chasing his older brother for revenge had made him ignorant to these feelings that he had held precious in his childhood.
The orangish hue of the setting sun told him it was time.
It was the first day of Obon. He looked around and saw the lantern that was tied at the entrance of their house swinging with the wind along with a windchime.
The lantern will guide them home, Sakura had said when she had tied them.
He knew that too. His mother had told him during childhood while Itachi had set up the bonfire for mukaebi. He had complained that bonfires are for winters, not for summers. His mother had laughed and had corrected him.
Sasuke, this bonfire and lanterns are for the spirits of our ancestors to guide their paths back home.
He had shrugged back then, because he thought he wouldn't have to bother about this in future.
Sasuke set the twigs, and lit them using a small fireball jutsu.
He sat there, remembering that Obon during his childhood had never been so solemn. Lots of people visited during that time. He hadn’t remembered any of them, though Itachi remembered some of them. Sasuke had challenged Itachi: Just you see, nii-san, next time, I'm going to remember everyone's name. Itachi had chuckled and had flicked his forehead.
The next time hadn't ever come. Before he could add more people to his growing list of people he knew, Itachi had wiped out everyone. And then Sasuke was alone.
He realized after all these years how much he had missed his older brother. He always wanted to bury the feeling because it came with the realization that Itachi was dead because of him. Itachi was dead because of Konoha.
Itachi was dead because he wanted his otouto to live.
"Anata?"
Sasuke lifted his eyes from the flames to Sakura, who looked worried. He looked back to flames.
"Are you okay?"
Sasuke nodded. He knew they had spent enough time together for Sakura to know he wasn't alright. His eyes were fixated on flames, so he didn't notice the way Sakura's eyes softened when she sat beside him.
He didn't want to ask her, but he found himself talking anyway. "Do you think Itachi can find his way?"
For the second time in the day, Sakura blinked in confusion.
Sasuke clarified again, "He doesn't even have a grave."
For a second, Sakura felt like she couldn't breathe. She had never seen Sasuke so vulnerable before.
"This place… Konoha…" He gritted his teeth. "I- I don't know how to call Konoha my home after what they did to my clan… to Itachi."
"I can't," He said, his voice louder and filled with accusation.
But as soon as these two words left his mouth, his eyes widened in the realization of what he had done. He shut his eyes and apologized to Sakura.
He felt Sakura's palm on his left cheek. It reminded him of his daughter's gentle touch — that they were his home.
Sakura smiled when his mismatched eyes met her green, and spoke softly, "Hate it till you can love it back, Sasuke-kun."
_
Sasuke swallowed the soft moan that fell out of Sakura's plump lips before he moved down on her neck, leaving a trail of kisses. When their house turned silent from Sarada's cries, they both sought comfort in their bed, limbs tangled innocently. Sasuke was comfortable enough now to delve into his wife's gentle touches. Gentle touches soon turned greedy when he kissed her the way he had wanted to that morning. It wasn't too long before their clothes were scattered across the polished wood of the floor.
He nipped her neck, eliciting a whimper and a delicious clench of her walls around his pulsing cock. He groaned and pushed deeper into her wet velvety cunt. The air from the ceiling fan cooled their sweating bodies, but the heat where they were intimately joined made both their spines tingle.
Sasuke leaned down to capture her lips again, and Sakura reciprocated wantonly meeting with his thrust. They gasped for air when they parted, saliva smeared across the corners of their lips. Sasuke held his gaze with hers, which was always soft, assuring, and accepting. Like a wanderer on a cold night regarded the flames that kept him warm, Sasuke tried to emanate his gratitude for her through his mismatched eyes.
He inched deeper, relishing the warmth of her skin. Sakura's lips parted in a silent cry when he hit the spot that he knew made Sakura come undone. Their rhythm became more erratic, and the heaving and slapping of wet skin was driving Sasuke to his own finish.
Sasuke angled his hips and thrust roughly. Sakura shuddered, her nails digging deep in his bare shoulder. He closed his eyes, focussing on the pleasure unknoting in his belly, he pushed roughly again, and felt—
Sarada's whimpers reached their ears. His eyes snapped open reflexively like he was waking in the midst of a nightmare, and Sakura's grip loosened on him. Sakura winced as he reluctantly pulled out of her. He wasn't sure if it was because Sarada's cries intensified, or if it was because they’d been interrupted.
She smiled weakly and slid out of bed. Sasuke huffed and dropped onto the bed, watching Sakura hurriedly putting his shirt to cover her curves.
When he made his way towards them, Sakura was pacing along the room, cradling Sarada in her arms trying to calm her down.
"I fed her, changed her diapers, and still she is crying," Sakura said, expression etched with worry and irritation. Sarada shrieked louder, and Sakura's patience was waning thin.
Sasuke stretched his arm towards her, and Sakura handed the baby over. When he took her in his arm, rocked her and carefully nuzzled his nose on her forehead, she stopped crying. Somehow, it felt strange yet so good that someone needed him.
He was sure Sakura was red with envy and embarrassment when she mumbled something and walked away. He couldn't help himself but let out a chuckle, and Sakura turned and laughed too.
_
Konoha's streets were overflowing with families, people enjoying and dancing around the yagura stage to the beats of Taiko drums on the second day of Obon.
"Ino and I always loved dancing to this rhythm."
Sasuke didn't remember anything from his genin days. Maybe Sakura had told him back then, but he never paid attention to it like the other things he had missed while chasing blindly after revenge. This festival, this tradition, and Sakura were always there, and he had always been a piece out of the puzzle.
But Sarada with all her charm had made him fit in the puzzle. And now he and Sakura sat on the engawa, basking in the comfortable silence that they shared while the sound of Taiko drums reverberated with his heart beats.
Sakura held Sarada close to her body. He smiled, eyes falling on the Uchiha fan on her little back.
"I sprained my ankle the previous year. It was all stupid Ino's fault."
Sakura went on telling him about her Obon experiences while his eyes lingered on the swell of her chest, the bindings tugged down for Sarada to suckle. Sarada fed herself without any complaints, her little fingers clutching on folds of the beautiful green yukata Sakura was wearing.
The beautiful cherry blossom print on her green yukata accentuated her beauty, but it was the Uchiha crest that she sewed on her yukata in the afternoon that accentuated her beauty.
Sasuke's eyes trailed upwards to her exposed skin, and he noticed the hitch in her breath when his eyes stayed on the purplish mark he had given her the night before. They locked eyes, trapping her green with his mismatched ones.
Sakura blushed furiously under his gaze. Sasuke smirked and asked, "Want to go to the festival?"
_
The sound of heavy breathing disturbed the silence, as both of them came down from their high, basking in the afterglow. A sheen of sweat covered them like velvet, limbs entangled and limp. Sakura's yukata lay crumpled between their bodies, tugged upwards and sideways unceremoniously.
Sasuke had committed to memory the way her pink hair seamlessly smudged with the green of her yukata when he had pushed inside her from behind, losing himself to pleasure. His fingers lightly traced her pink nipples, and Sakura gasped.
She turned her head back, and Sasuke pulled her closer to his body, his palm now resting over her beating heart. Sakura smiled, and Sasuke realized there were so many colours that adorned his life now — the red of her lips, the pink of her hair, the green of her eyes, and that mirthful smile.
His heart skipped a beat when he felt Sakura's heart dancing under his palm, synchronising with his. Their lips found their way to each other, the uchiwa on the Sakura's garment silently observing their love.
_
A wisp of smoke rose into the air while twigs in the bonfire crumbled down to ashes. Sasuke sat in front of the extinguished bonfire, looking above at the dark sky.
The moon hid behind the clouds and stars twinkled, trying hard to compensate for the overcast skies. A breeze touching his skin gave him a familiar feeling. He had spent more time under open skies wandering than under a roof with a family. However, tonight he felt the same heaviness that he had carried for a long time.
After they had dinner, Sakura had reminded him that it was the last day of Obon. Reluctantly, he had lit the okokuri-bi — the bonfire that sent the spirits back to their resting place. Maybe he didn't want to part with his dead family. Maybe holding on to the illusion where his father, mother and brother were with him was easier.
The breeze swept the hair that covered his eyes, his mismatched orbs growing wet. It wasn’t because of anger anymore, though. It just hurt. He clutched at his chest, fingers digging into his shirt, trying to soothe the pain that was there. An invisible pain that he only owned — that Sakura and Sarada couldn't replace.
"Sara-chan, did you like it?"
Sasuke snapped out of his thoughts as Sakura approached him. Sarada fiddled with a toy that Sakura bought recently for her. Sarada cooed in excitement, and Sakura giggled.
When she reached closer to him, Sakura stretched out her hand towards him. Words were not their way, and Sakura smiled gently, coaxing him to take her hand.
And Sasuke did.
Because there were things Sakura and Sarada couldn't replace, but he could relive and recreate memories with them. Severing bonds would never ease his pain, he knew now; instead, new bonds would help him embrace the old ones.
They were there for him — he wasn't alone, and he didn't need to do this on his own.

Obon is a Japanese custom to honor the spirits of one's ancestors. This custom involves a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors' graves when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars. It has been celebrated in Japan for more than 500 years and traditionally includes a dance, known as Bon Odori.

Cherry Blossom Promise
Words: 917
@narutoccw2022
For: @shinobimagpie who is always helping me come up with amazing idea’s and listening to me ramble about my fics 💜💜💜
A moment of peace.
No Jiraiya screaming in her ear about beautiful women, or Orochimaru muttering under their breath about things she’s certain she should not ask for clarification about.
Just her, Dan and a nice little picnic under the biggest cherry blossom tree in all of Konoha. A tree Tsunade knew well, having watched her grandmother tenderly planting it in the ground in her favourite resting spot.
“One day,” her grandmother promised as she guided her hands to bunch up some dirt over the saplings' roots. “This will be a tree big enough to sit under, and you’ll be able to spend your days sitting here. Maybe you’ll even have a moment to spare to remember me.”
Her grandmother was right. Here she was almost twenty years later standing under that same tree, staring up at the beautiful cherry blossoms blooming on the branches, and all she could think about was the woman who had sat by her bedside singing when she was scared, or stood behind her and taught her how to mix ingredients perfectly into a wonderful dish.
She was so caught up in her memories that she forgot who she was with.
“Earth to Tsunade,” Dan flicked her against the forehead, chuckling when she glared at him. “So you are still in there.”
Rubbing the offending area, she huffed. “I like your kisses better,” she muttered under her breath. “Besides, it’s not like you can blame me.”
“I know, I know,” his laughter was infectious. A brilliant sound in a world so full of terrible noises. “This tree’s important to you. That’s why I thought it would be nice to have a picnic here.”
A picnic with the perfect view, in her opinion. With Dan in the forefront and the cherry blossoms perfectly framing him in a picture she would love to commit to memory.
A moment she never wanted to lose.
“Just the two of hs,” she smiled at the thought. No teammates to come crashing in to ruin their fun. “You told Sakumo-“
“He’s training with Jiraiya,” Dan assured her. “When I told him my plan he agreed to distract the most likely person to interrupt us.” A Perfect plan. She knew she could count on the Hatake to have her back.
“So it really is just the two of us,” with that confirmed, she slid in close to Dan’s side and laid her head on his shoulder. Something she would refrain from doing if they were expecting anyone else. “Some peace and quiet for once.”
“Just once,” Dan chuckled. “As a treat.”
The worst part was he wasn’t even wrong. With Jiraiya as her teammate, ‘peace’ wasn’t something she got often. It was only in a select few places where she could find a momentary escape from the loud brashness of her friend.
Dan’s company was one of those places.
“You know,” tilting her head back, she stared up at the tree above them and watched as a single petal separated from the flower and floated down, landing on top of Dan’s head. “Pink is a good colour on you.”
“It is, hmm?” Taking the hint, he reached up and searched his head until he found that lone petal, plucking it from his long silver hair and holding it out in front of himself. “Huh.”
“What is it?”
“Oh, nothing,” he moved the petal just in front of her face, still staring at it. “Just thinking.”
“About?”
Lowering the petal, he grinned. “About how much more beautiful you are than any flower I have ever seen.”
Heat rises through her neck into her cheeks. “I-'' unable to process his words, she reverted to standard operating procedure when dealing with embarrassment and punched him in the arm. She had enough control to keep from releasing chakra into the punch, meaning he wasn’t sent flying into the air, but it was still hard enough that Dan cringed away from her.
“Oww,” he complained, rubbing the affected area as if it would make the pain fade. “You know, I need this arm in working condition for my next mission.”
“I’ll heal it,” she promised, a mere mutter under her breath that he barely caught. “Just like I always do.”
“Well, I supposed I’m lucky that way,” tilting his head back he stared up into the sky. “I got the best medical ninja in the world to fall in love with me.”
“The slug princess,” she winked, using the nickname that the old puppeteer from Suna had given her. A nickname she found she loved a lot more than she was supposed to. “Are you sure that’s what you want in your life?”
Reaching out towards her, he threaded his fingers into her hair and pulled her in close, pressing a kiss against her forehead.
“Absolutely,” he whispered against her skin. “I can’t imagine my life without you by my side, Tsunade.”
Cheesy. Clearly, he had been spending too much time with Sakumo, he was picking up those dorky habits of his.
“Forever?”
“Forever and after.” He promised, smiling that bright handsome smile she loved so much.
“I’ll hold you to that, Dan Katō.”
Here, under the cherry blossom tree, she had helped her grandmother plant, Tsunade saw her future unfolding in front of her. A future with Dan by her side, and many more dates under this same tree.
Maybe one day, if she was lucky, they would marry here. Then her grandmother would have front row seats to that bright, beautiful future.

~•The Essentials For Your General Magick Cabinet •~
I create intuitively chosen mystery ensembles inspire by the occult, witchcraft, and mythology where many of my own handcrafted creations fill the box in my Etsy shop, thus, I often am asked by those new to Witchcraft or who are beginning to explore different aspects of their spiritually to include 'the essentials', or whatever it is I think would benefit someone who is just delving into the world of new age spirituality and witchery.
It doesn't matter what books you read or blogs you may follow, there always seems to be some inconsistencies here and there regarding what tools are 'essential' for a beginner. Sure, there's a lot regarding the altar and shrine set up, but what if you do not have the space to dedicate to an altar? What if you prefer to perform your craft on the fly, or find yourself leaning toward secular practices rather than devoting yourself to deity worship?
The handful of tools and supplies I have put together here covers pretty much any ordinary practice that would take place in any spell or ritual and give you an inexpensive basis from which you may build upon as you continue learning, practicing, and exploring what ignites your spark and helps to recover your light. :)
•White Candles or Tea Lights (And Matches or a Lighter)- One may enter any Family Dollar or Dollar Tree and find multipacks or single white candles or tea lights in abundance. Many spells call for a specific colored candle to be used that corresponds with the purpose or intentions to be expressed or manifested. This extends beyond what is known as 'candle magick' and falls into a category I personally just learned was called 'sympathetic magick'- which is a fancy word for choosing spell or ritual tools, components, and supplies that have some kind of symbolic or intrinsic association to what you desire. The act of creating the right atmosphere for manifesting your will is a type of magick unto itself that can extend well beyond an altar or shrine. Picking the corresponding moon phase, time of day and day of the week, herbs, oils, and candle colors are all forms of sympathetic magick, with candle color probably being the easiest aspect to understand and acquire. White Candles may be substituted for any colored candle that a spell or ritual may call for, as white is considered the absence of color, you may imprint upon it whatever color you desire it to be. This kills the need for a large stash of chime candles or votives of all different colors. Sure, it's nice to have the appropriate color a spell calls for and having such in your possession does help conjure the atmosphere whoever created the spell intended to conjure, but in a pinch, any white candle or tea light with something to light them with will work just as well as that pink or red candle for your love spell or whatever it may be you are attempting.
•Clear Quartz Crystals- Clear Quartz only recently became semi-scarce due to over mining and demand, though one may still purchase Clear Quartz crystal points in bulk for around $10-15 for a 100 gram bag on Amazon and beyond, where if you prefer raw stones over tumbled and polished, you may be able to get them even cheaper. Clear Quartz is believed to be the 'Master Healer' by Reiki Masters, as it possesses many different healing properties in addition to cleansing, grounding, and aligning the chakras. In witchcraft, Clear Quartz is used in many different rituals as it is an amplifier of energy that can enhance the efficacy and success rate of spells and manifestations aside from amplifying the energy of any and all other components and crystals around it. Clear Quartz may be readily substituted for any crystal, should a crystal be called for in any sense, and its abundance in nature and online make it an essential choice for having on hand for everything from creating Charging or Moon Water, creating crystal grids, talismans, spell jars, mojo / Gris Gris bags, or simply placing in your home or on your altar to help facilitate whatever you may be attempting to conjure or manifest at any time.
•Olive Oil- it's no joke that essential oils, especially those that are organic or completely natural and high quality are quite expensive. If one were to purchase even just the handful of essential oils commonly mentioned in most witchy books, occult texts, and herbalist grimoires, you would be looking at a good $30-$60 investment for the basics. Olive Oil, on the other hand, may not be particularly cheap at the grocery store, but when you consider the amount you get for the price compared to the .33fl oz bottles of essential oils, you are getting quite a bargain and a tool that may be substituted for any particular oil something may ask you to use, including for dressing / anointing candles and ritual tools. The ancient Greeks and Romans often used Olive Oil as an offering to the Gods, and it has long been considered a sacred nectar in many different religions. If you already have a selection of essential oils, you may use Olive Oil as a carrier oil to make them last longer by diluting them and rebottling them or to make your own essential oil blends and ritual oils. Olive Oil is naturally pure and will allow your oil blends to work with most diffusers and burners while providing a hypoallergenic carrier option should you wish to apply any to your skin.
•Salt- So many things salt may be used for and so many reasons to keep a stash of salt around set aside for spiritual endeavours. Sea Salt in particular is a component of many spells, rituals, potions, and magickal concoctions. It is representative of the element of Earth and is associated with many simple practices you can easily integrate into your daily rituals for cleansing, banishing, and protection. Using salt for cleansing offers a no-burn, inexpensive, sensitivity friendly option for the modern witch that can be purchased on the cheap virtually anywhere that sells things.
•Sage- The next few items are more essential for the diligent witch putting together their toolbox, as one can avoid the herbal aspects of witchcraft entirely if they desire to with many more modern texts not blending the old world concepts of herbalism/ old world medicine being akin to magick. Sage is often burned for cleansing purposes, either in smudge or incense form, but it may also be substituted for any herb a spell may call for, provided you are not trying to concoct a definitive product or recipe as a result. Sage may be easily grown within your own home- I myself have a common Sage plant I grow indoors and have been reading the benefits ever since I purchased the starter from a small nursery in Kentucky, as I never seem to have any luck sprouting seeds myself. Sage may be added to spell jars and the like as easily as one would add a handful of crushed Clear Quartz for the added benefit of maintaining a cleansed vessel for manifestation. Sage incense may also be substituted the same way.
•Roses- Roses and Rose Petals have always been associated with love spells and love potions, but many do not realize that Roses have a positive energy so profound, that vibrates on so many levels, that they may be adapted to serve virtually any purpose in any spell or spiritual practice, not just spells associated with love, romance, or sexuality.
•A Bell or Bells- Whether you wish to drop the money on an intricate antique or visit your local consignment store or dollar store and pick up some used school bells or jingle bells, the bell and bells are probably the most underrated tool a witch can utilize, like, ever. Bells have a long multicultural history of providing blessings of prosperity, protection, and good luck, with many beliefs rooted around the belief that the ringing of a bell resonates throughout the fabric of the cosmos, reverberating across space and time. Percussive instruments, as bells are, are often used for cleansing rituals and spiritual healing. It is often stated that ringing a bell 'resets' the atmosphere and energy around you, effectively banishing negativity and providing a blank slate for conjuring new energy and any other spiritual activities. Don't balk at the bells!
If you're the creative type, you may create what are known as 'Witch's Bells,' often made from wreaths or braided twine, beaded rings, etc with three or more bells attached meant to be hung off the doorknob of the entrance to your space or they may be made as a handheld tool to be used for regular rituals. These are then blessed or enchanted in some way that depends on the practitioner and the purpose they wish them to serve.
What about those of us that have limited storage space? Or those that may not be able to light candles or incense due to living arrangements or allergies? This is where myself and many others can step in and offer you a hand. In my own shop, I offer hand crafted and personalized / customized spell kits created for your specific needs that will provide you all the materials for any specific spell or ritual you desire. There are other sellers that offer similar options, some that are personalized and others more general, but if you are looking for something more 'disposable' to be at your disposal at any given time, this may be worth looking into.
My own spell kits range anywhere from $12-$35 depending on what it is you request and the materials you require. As I cater to all skill levels and handicaps in terms of what one can feasibly perform or utilize in any given situation, if you do happen to have a particular spell in mind but have no idea how to proceed in your current situation,I will be more than happy to consult with you and hand select or create a spell kit with detailed instructions and tools to aid you on your spiritual journey, regardless of your destination. As I take great pleasure in assisting others in manifesting their dreams and desires, I will always work with you and put your needs above your budget.
Just some food for thought for those of you who have been blindly purchasing items for spells or spiritual endeavours to have on hand 'just in case' and to remind everyone that magick and successful manifestation is less about the 'stuff' and very much about your intentions when using it to conjure energy and become the catalyst for change, however you proceed to do so.
Wishing everyone a blessed weekend and throwing a friendly reminder out there that the current sale that has been ongoing in the shop will be ending soon- this will be the last until next month so please take advantage if you have had your eye on something. I will be retiring some older designs at the end of September 2021 for recreation / re imagining and to pursue new and better concepts to take other's places. These designs will go on one last farewell sale during the month for a good 25%-50% off until they are sold out. As always, I appreciate everyone's support of my Craft and crafts. It has been a pleasure to work with and get to know so many amazing people! A dream come true to do this full time!

Hey cutieeee! Thanks for holding such an amazing game especially when I need it the most lol.
My initials are A.M. My situation is currently, tiredness, feeling uncomfortable within myself, unproductivity, so these things are stopping me from doing cleansing work and making me feel horrible.
Question: what are you becoming?
Answer: I heard "blooming " so probably you are exploring a new side of you. You are learning new things which are the base of your personality in the future. You are learning to be enough for yourself and be satisfied with your abilities. Like a new blooming flower, your petals are opening into the sunlight slowly for you to see the world as a grown up person.
Your moodboard:
Thank you !! ✨️💗
Hii babeee , welcome 💕 , ik right, sun in Capricorn conjunct saturn has got everyone messed up 🥲
This time is supposed to be uncomfortable, don't stress about it too much, just surpass this everything is better on the other side 🤍
Thank you so much for the reading i really like how you described it , i hope to embody it and omg the mood board is so pretty 😍✨
I think sometimes you should just hold back and enjoy whatever is happening, a little indulgence won't kill you it's like you want to study, but at the same time your fav show is going on , even if you sit to study you will feel restless, doing your favourite thing for sometime will not create any problem for you rather it's essential.
You're asked to be more independent, not just in material matters but in your thoughts , you're your own person you owe no one anything, know that in the future it's you who has to feed you.
Balance your root chakra , eat red foods , use red candles , do you have blueberry beads aka rudraksha in your area , if you have use it for healing. Something about herbarium too.
Don't rush into life , you're young you have a lot of time, be practical but not fast, process, ponder and then see how everything works.
I hope you resonate, leave a feedback if you do♡
