complete beginner's guide to [kpop] giffing, as explained by me!

keep in mind everyone has a different style and process, so there are some things in mine that may not feel intuitive or helpful - if so, don't include it! if you can make the gif, and have fun doing it, that's good enough. this post also assumes interest in specifically kpop giffing, but can for the most part apply to other content as well. i would just recommend different sharpening and coloring for those.

separated by headings (not images, since i need those... for examples) - if you are skipping to a specific section, look for the orange text of what you are looking for!

programs:

if you already have photoshop / your giffing program installed and set up, go ahead. if you don't, i would recommend looking here to get photoshop. please make sure you follow instructions carefully and safely! i do know photopea is an alternative people use, and i'm sure there are others. i unfortunately don't know any tutorials to link and probably won't be much help in regards to those programs, but i'm sure there are some floating around on tumblr!

my gif process uses photoshop, so this tutorial assumes that as well. if you use a different one, you might be able to transfer this to what you use, i'm not really sure :(

additional tools and programs: - handbrake: upscaler, found here. i make my own settings and generally only use this on lower quality sources to give vapoursynth a better chance with encoding in higher quality. - davinci resolve: a program i use to make clips appear 60fps when they are choppy or too few frames for the gif to look nice, and occasionally to do pre-photoshop coloring! i use the free version. i do not use this all the time and it is a big program, so definitely don't get it if you think you'd forget to / not want to use it. - yt-dlp: open source, downloads pretty much any file i could want quite well. i use this for most of my downloads and for subtitles as well. does require some knowledge of code, or, at the very least, willingness to troubleshoot set-up. find it here! i can share the command lines i run for: video, audio, vid + sub. - 4k+ downloader: what most people use for youtube-source sets, i believe. you have a limited number of downloads per day on the free version, thus the other downloading programs. - jdownloader2: no limit but sometimes a little slow or will refuse to download because of not being logged into an account, etc. a good download alternative if you plan on downloading a lot and yt-dlp is too much. - vlc: free program, standard on some devices, good for viewing files. - mpv: excellent file viewing, can also deinterlace and screencap (if you do not have / use vapoursynth) - vapoursynth: mac users beware, it's not optimized or set up and is a huge headache. windows users, once you get it set up, it's golden.

finding files, what to look for, and how to use them: how to use is explained here, with a focus on smooth and nice speeds! but finding the file is the first step, so let's head there.

stages: k24hrs (invite only, feel free to private dm or send an ask off anon for a file - i will do my best to get it to you); kpopbuzzhub; sharing korea torrent (requires a torrent app); twitter (shrghkqud (only has recent files) and a few other uploaders, requires much more active searching). there are a few other places you can look, but it is often more trouble than it is worth (or costs $). i am also always willing to help people find materials, so you can ask me to help you look for something or to link a source i used for whatever set.

music videos: also sometimes on k24hrs. i use vimeo a lot (color graders, directors, etc., will upload clearer versions). sharemania.us has some kpop mvs, typically bigger groups (i.e. blackpink). this is a place i check for ggs. and if none of these places or searching for torrents on btdigg, or on google in korean works, i just download the highest quality setting from youtube.

other types: like vlogs and fancams, normally directly downloaded from youtube, instagram, or twitter using yt-dlp or sites specifically for the app (i.e. twittervideodownloader).

what do i look for? 1080i for stages (or 1080p) are often super nice as they're a .ts. 2160p/4k is often ideal, but it also depends on your computer and what you are comfortable working with! generally - not always due to ai upscale - a bigger file size (in the gbs, high mbs like 800) is better and has more detail that will look clear when you work on it. older stages (2nd gen and before, some 3rd gen) and music videos often always are lower quality due to camera quality, and much harder to find. if you have to use the youtube upload for a stage, it is definitely doable, but it may be slightly disappointing in the quality you want to achieve. it depends on what you're comfortable posting and making!

how do i use them? if you use vapoursynth, scenedetect (encode/process whole video) or timestamp (just a small clip) your file - if upscaling, using davinci resolve, or any other pre-processing, do that first. it will pull up a resizer and a program and once you encode, it will give you an output file using the size and settings you put. this will import to photoshop. if using mpv or another screencapping method, take your screencaps (again, all pre-processing first) and prepare to import. there are two ways to do that for screencaps. you can also just watch whatever you downloaded, i'm guilty of downloading concert files just for fun 😅

in the next sections, i will be using four different files of varying quality and sources to explain my steps. hopefully that is helpful!

example file 1 (4k and 60fps, obtained using yt-dlp) example file 2 (1080i, obtained from k24hrs) example file 3 (1080p HD, obtained using yt-dlp) example file 4 (pulled from the gg archive i use, master)

importing to photoshop (vapoursynth and mpv explained): using example file 1, i am processing in vapoursynth - i always do one extra second before and after the clip i actually want so it doesn't cut off any frames i'd like. i adjust my sizes based on what works best for tumblr (540px for wide, 268px for 2 column, and 178 for 3 column). i always use finesharp 1.5 (this setting is up to you! i used to use .7, so totally ok if it changes over time, too!) when you export in vapoursynth, you need the y4m header. i use export to mov preset.

when importing to photoshop using a video (so vapoursynth, video files, not screencaps):

i recommend making your selected range a little bigger than the frames you want so they don't accidentally not get included. delete any extra frames while in the frame animation and then turn it into video timeline. i turn all my layers into a smart object (select them all by clicking the bottom layer and then shift-clicking the top one, or use (on windows) ctrl + alt + a to have it select faster). set timeline framerate (if you want to, i always use 60).

now your smart object is ready to sharpen and color!

using example file 2, i am processing mpv - i hit 'd' until deinterlace is on 'auto'. find the clip you'd like and hit your screencap shortcut (alt+s) for me - your screencaps should be super clear, it depends on how you set up your software (if mpv, what compression you told it). screencaps can take up a ton of storage so i recommend only screencapping what you need and deleting them after. when you hit your shortcut, play the file to the end of the clip you went and hit the screencap shortcut again to stop. your frames should be in the folder you designated as pngs now. delete extra frames now!

you now have two options: import as is, which can be a little slow, or turn them into dicom files. importing as is is done through stack. it will prompt you to select what is being loaded - change Use: to folder, and let it process. it will be slow. hit ok when the file list updates.

when it is done loading: create frame animation -> make frames from layers -> reverse frames. i would crop now using the crop tool for processing speed, and then proceed to do video timeline, smart object, and frame rate. when cropping: on the top, above your document names, the second image should show up on the crop tool - this can set your dimensions. i zoom and crop screencaps using this.

the other option is DICOM files, and what i use. when you have your pngs, do alt + d in the folder (windows), type cmd, and run this command: ren *.* *.dcm. press enter. it will update the files. on macOs, just rename the file type to .dcm.

then, import as so (it will prompt you to select the folder your .dcm are in, and will not work if the files are not actually DICOM). i find it much faster than the stack import. crop when it is done importing for processing time, like the other screencap import style.

create frame animation -> make frames from layers -> video timeline -> smart object from layers -> 60 fps.

photoshop shortcuts and actions: (windows) - ctrl + alt + a: select all layers - ctrl + shift + alt + w: export as image - ctrl + alt + shift + s: save for web (legacy) - this is the gif one!

actions are imported or created, i've shared my sharpening ones before. there are plenty you can find (or make) for a variety of things, such as aligning objects to a fixed position on all docs, doing the screencap reverse and import for you, etc. they are imported using load actions - select the [downloaded] .atn file and it'll pop up.

sharpening: explained here, and has my actions (feel free to use). very important to the quality and clarity of the gif. the better the file, the clearer a gif looks, sharpening can only do so much. play around during this step!

coloring: very much the most personal taste stage of giffing. i explain my process here. in kpop giffing, we tend to focus on unwhitewashing. other giffing tends to be more aesthetic tastes and fun since the source has better colors to work with.

export settings: these are what i use! you need the 256 colors. i do not recommend lossy or interlaced. i think bicubic sharper is the clearest i have tried.

posting on tumblr: use these dimensions FOR GIFS. edits can be different. height is up to you - i would not go over 800, but i think my quality looks weird past 600 range anyways.

example gifs: yeji, from example file #1, imported using vs. uses no. 1 sharpening (altered) from my pack. colored. zhanghao, from example file #2, imported using mpv and the load via stack. uses no. 4 sharpening (altered) from my pack. colored. taeyeon, from example file #3, imported using mpv and the load via dicom. uses no. 1 sharpening from my pack. colored. eunbi, from example file #4, imported using vs. uses no. 2 sharpening from my pack. colored.

if your gifs don't look how you want right away, that's okay! it takes time. my first ones were not great either. i am always improving on and working on my gifs. good luck and have fun hehe ♡

I thought it's an "established knowledge" among most Jikookers that Jimin fell for JK since the very beginning days like in 2013 or 2014, so when did Jimin go through different people? And why, since he was already madly in love with JK?

Linking my MV analysis first for those who want to read:

Like I said..my MV analysis was not to validate any ship. You are right though, most jikookers have a timeline:

"Jimin falling first in 2013, JK crushing back on him by 2015 (by that time Jimin was not that bold), then them getting together in 2017 finally."

But isn't that all speculation at the end of the day?

Read on to find why MUSE album is not about Jimin's 'personal life':

Jimin clearly said that the album is about feeling inspired, feeling excited. 'MUSE' is something/someone that inspires and excites you to make art. The album is centered around finding inspiration. Love comes in all forms- love for art/love for a person. 'Who' in a romantic sense is about finding love, but as clearly mentioned in a few articles about the album, MUSE album is the result of Jimin trying to find inspiration. It translates to Jimin doing the type of music he likes, experimenting- from a marching band like song to slow rnb/pop, afrobeats to 2000s pop main track, the range is huge here.

So in the MV, Jimin going through different people doesn't literally mean he was going through them in real life. It's the "story" of him trying to find inspiration and searching for what his heart wants. But in the end he kinda fails (it still doesn't mean that he 'fails' to find inspiration). Not everything has to have a start and end, or absolute explanation. Things are pretty open ended here.

Even if you relate the MV's story to his personal life, just remember what he said-

And your ask is exactly the type of misinterpretation he is talking about, lol. He clearly told RM that he hasn't felt the feeling of 'excitement' of a 'crush' or 'unrequited love' for a long time and in the album it seems like he's describing feelings of finding someone new that would bring out those feelings. Does this mean he is lying to RM? No. This album is him embodying these feelings. Similar to what JK said for Golden : "the lyrics are not autobiographical". He didn't have to clarify that, but he still did.

Which basically means that Jimin is neither single nor is he in any type of 'new love'. Which leaves one option - he is in a long term relationship.

While FACE was personal- about losing people, betrayal, loneliness, depression, and getting back stronger; MUSE is a conceptual album. A concept should be taken at face value, without relating it to life of the artist. Jimin knows about the interpretations that fans made for FACE and he never commented on them, because he openly had said that the lyrics are to be taken for what they are. It's the most he could reveal without being too detailed. But now that he knows his fans, he expects them to make theories about his personal life like we did with FACE. Only this time, like he said, we are most likely to misunderstand.

Me being a broken record

With everything that went down the past few days, I kind of feel the need to play this on repeat, so I'm going at this from another angle.

JK is not the person people are trying to paint him out to be.

This callous macho sex fiend, that at the moment, even though people keep screaming "well, he might be bi", they are actually only talking about him screwing women. And lots of them. In different places, at different times. He's a fuckboy par excellence.

And those that take that one step further also have him cheating on JM, breakup stories, make up stories, full on fanfics in the making.

And did the whole TikTok post and delete thingy.

I get it.

Well, part of it.

3D kind of shook some people.

It was the very obvious meaning of the song, JK singing on repeat girl, and I think the big big thing here was Jack Harlow's lyrics. I think for many the initial knee jerk reaction was to those lyrics. And I will admit, I had that same knee jerk reaction (to JH's lyrics).

I still don't like them. Whichever way you look at them, they are problematic.

But I came to live with the song, cause it's JK, cause when you listen to it on repeat you just can't get rid of it (🤣), cause I like his performance (yes, including the certain very sexual moves. Hey, I'm no prude), and cause I just tend to listen to the alternative version and when I have the clip running on YT phase out from the rap (cause I just don't like it).

But for many, as I got to discover after this whole shitshow blew up, JK singing girl in a song for which he did not even write the lyrics is all it took to throw away everything people saw and knew about Jikook and JK in behaviour and interactions over the past 10 years. For that.

Forget the y/ns. All they needed and were waiting for was that kind of confirmation. They didn't need anything more than JK saying that one word. The choreo being sexual added, of course. It being sexual either way making no difference. Either way meaning every single move that was considered sexual can be applied to either male or female!!!

By the by, big deal. Big deal JK does the thrusts in the choreo. Big deal JK did that flicking of the hand. Even if he did it only not to leave Brian hanging, literally. He is an adult, and do I remind that JM did the same in the recording of their Idol MV? Him doing all of this doesn't make him into what people are trying to paint him to be.

So, we were at this point where people that were supposed to have JK's back, in the sense that even if they had doubt the least they could have done was not to continue to spread it, and with every tweet or post add a little more conjecture and assumption, none of it based in facts, didn't. Have his back in the sense of perhaps stepping back for a second and waiting to see where the stones fall, didn't. See if there is a statement, if JK says something, they didn't. There was a clear intent in the timing of these clips and pics. Posting them just after the release of the song and during Chuseok, so it takes time for whoever it is that needs or wants to take action. So it gives time for it to spread. And it did. Not with Karmy. Cause they had JK's back. Not with Chinese army, cause they were fighting the claims for authenticity of the clips, fighting the claims of harassment that were also raised against him. This was a coordinated targeted attack. And instead of having his back, I-army just went with it. Spreading it. Defending the authenticity of it. Yes, there were cries for breach of privacy. All while continuing to spread the clip over sm.

We don't know these young men fully. We also don't know what they do with their time. We get maybe a 0.01% of it now. Before we got more. The early years we got a shit ton. Not everything. But enough to see who they are as human beings. The good and the bad. And NOTHING that we got over the years, and even more so through the maybe somewhat tainted Jikook glasses indicates JK to be that person that he was painted out to be in the past few days.

The man that talked about being with that one person for life. The man that believes in destiny. The man that arranged and paid for a trip for JM to Japan knowing he was struggling at that time, going on that trip with him, doing what JM wanted to do, even when it wasn't necessarily what he would have chosen to have done (remember RM and Jhope's conversation about JM dragging JK around Malta?). The man that made that HUGE statement at RB. We all focus on the ear sucking, but this was way more than that. JK enveloping JM, whispering something in his ear. Kissing his ear. Then sucking it, kissing it again and then comforting him, helping him up and just being by his side. This is the man that fucking tattooed JM's name on his hand for all to see. That tattooed a moon on his shoulder. That tattooed an eclipse on his arm. This is the man that during a LV concert looking at JM, talking to JM, said "I LOVE YOU", out loud, for all of us to hear. And if, by any chance, he wasn't aware the mic was still on for all of us to hear, wouldn't that have been even WAY louder? No realising we are hearing him saying it to JM, that it was meant for his ears only. This is a man that has dedicated almost full lives to JM. Listening to and singing his songs, watching JM content adoringly.

All that and so so much more.

Enter a grainy clip with faces literally white washed, a couple of more either badly edited clips and pics and all is forgotten. JK is the ultimate playboy. Multiple girlfriends (what name wasn't attached to him?).

And when JK denies having a gf then it's: "but the clip is old" or "doesn't mean he doesn't sleep around".

Instead of listening to him.

You think he doesn't know when this is supposed to be from? The clip. For god's sake, the dog being there was what everyone latched onto. So he knows. And he said I don't have a gf but was talking about THAT clip. You expected him to say "yes I saw the clip, I didn't have a gf then"? No. This is what he could do. And again, instead of listening to him, what he's trying to tell us: NO GF, NO NEED FOR ONE, people are about trying to see why the clip could still be legitimate, authentic, and/or why it doesn't mean he isn't sleeping around.

Perhaps that's why he felt the need to comeback with his ever so loud TikTok post and delete.

Kim YoungJin and his team have worked with the members as a group and as individuals on their concerts and everything in between.

“Seoul-based stylist Youngjin Kim has been obsessed with fashion since he was a child, saving up his pocket money to buy magazines. “It was so special to me,” he remembers. “Styling for albums and projects such as “My Universe” by BTS and Coldplay is receiving tremendous attention on a global scale. Whenever I style an idol group, I think of a designer creating a collection. I mix and match clothes from different Japanese brands such as Comme des Garçons and Yohji Yamamoto, and I express my own aesthetic with styling to fit each concept. I also style various editorials for fashion magazines. Jimin's entanglement with the West wasn't intended at all in my opinion. It just happened. He had had Vibe and I think they just rode on the waves of the publicity from that for Set me free and Later like Crazy.

Thus he made more money spending less on advertising and marketing- comparatively speaking.

Then you have the youngest who had to sacrifice and go last after everyone- bare in mind who ever went first with their Solo had the most organic publicity because it was a new phase and all attention was on BTS since they announced a hiatus and going solo.

The one to go last is relatively disadvantaged because he loses that organic attention and would require a lot of publicity to sell- but if he happens to be Jungkook then they would need to do just a little lifting because again- Golden Maknae. It's easy to say this wasn't treated well or that wasn't treated well when all you focused on is your bias. And I think sometimes equity prevails over equality because in as much as some went ahead of others, some already had kicked started their publicity with other collabs, some had been allotted more of the spending budget, some had high productions or low productions, they all can't get equal treatment.

Jungkook's launch is very much deliberate and well strategized too for the last debut. They took the lessons from the others launch and are trying to cover every base. He went last and so Hybe just had to make sure he went out with a bang. It be like that.

Every has to bag their coins somehow and that's all that matters.

Which, rude. I was already feeling emotional and this punted me fully off the cliff into ugly crying. But it also reminded me of other times I felt this way about a fictional guy and his companions.

And that was a comfort. I've done this before. I felt a little silly getting so emotional - for one thing, I joined the fandom about a month before the movie came out. And I knew what was coming and thought I was okay! But apparently I still had some feelings about it.

Anyway.

On my first watch I was completely overwhelmed just trying to take in all the details. I was focused so much on the structure and sound of the music and lyrics that I wasn't really looking at the people in the video.

And that Papa reveal. It absolutely took my breath away. The flip, the weird ominous chords as the ghouls approach and the scene shifts from 4:3 to 16:9, the drama. The motherfucking costumes. I'd seen a spoiler photo just a little before the actual video dropped but seeing everyone in motion was completely something else. Unholy and astounding.

Then - I panicked a little bit because we're so used to ghouls and ghoulettes having gendered headgear and I thought somehow we only retained at most two ghouls and maybe two ghoulettes. The idea that almost none of the characters I've come to love would be there in July - I wasn't feeling super good about it even though I knew it was always a possibility.

That's when I started seeing chatter about the unmasked musicians being in the video - at which point I put the video on again and laughed my ass off in joy and relief. I was still confused on if all the costumed ghouls were new in addition to the "ensemble" as the mv calls them - I'd been speculating that Tobias might go full stage show on us so a chorus/ensemble wouldn't be totally out of the question but it would be a big change!

Eventually I got straightened out on that and was trying to convince myself that [Cumulus' performer] maybe lost weight or couldn't make the new costume shoot and [Cirrus' performer] just really looks different without her usual makeup - but alas. Cumulus has retired! I was excited to see her again on tour and I'm disappointed, but she's done so much good work with the band and it seems like she's going to be putting out her own stuff later this year.

From a cosplay perspective this is also a huge bummer because it was really nice to have her body type represented up there (I will do a Ghoul outfit if I do anything because no way you're catching me in those bodysuits, damn. I'll leave that for the younger half of the fans, lol). Lots of challenges in cosplaying this era, but I enjoy helping others source fabrics, analyze garment construction, etc so there'll still be stuff for me to do!

And much as I love her I'd be much more upset if it was most of the ghoul/ettes gone like I originally thought - so realizing it was just one new member was a fair outcome in comparison. I don't know if it was intended to reassure us our faves are sticking around by straight up putting them in the video unmasked, but it's a welcome effect regardless, because you can't see shit of who's who in the video or stills once they're in costume!

Sidebar: one of the new interviews, the host asked Tobias if he was bringing back the skeleton ghouls from RHRN and he grinned and said, "not exactly, but you'll see," so yeah I feel confident that was either a trial run of sorts, or the inspiration.

Then I stayed up until 4:30am transcribing the chords so I could play the new song 😅 so you could say I like it! I've had it on repeat fairly often the last couple of days (also an understatement).

I could go on (and likely will if asked, lol) - but this is already quite long!

Like everyone, my jaw dropped when I first heard the explicit version. I was not expecting that at all and for it to be so in your face. Dayum.

Make no mistake, with the explicit version, Jungkook has made a statement about his own idol image... killed it in more ways than one. JK had already chosen the song well before he was folding underwear early April. It was during the underwear folding live that he was humming along with Muni Long's "Hrs & Hrs." The whole playlist he was listening to during that live seemed like it was meant for sexy time...

The next day, April 8 or so, after folding his underwear in front of 12 million people, he left for Los Angeles and spent roughly ten days there, returning on April 17. I'm assuming it was during this trip that he recorded Seven because the pics of he and Watt and Bang PD were posted on April 16.

Incidentally, Han Sohee was seen departing Incheon on April 9 for Los Angeles and arriving back on April 15.

His next live on April 24 was after a hard week of seeing Hobi off to the military and the tragic death of Moonbin. He had been to the premier of Dream with Tae and Tae's friends. It was a while after this day that (I personally) learned that Han Sohee was also seen leaving at the same time as JK's group following the Dream movie premier. She was seen walking out with Choi Wooshik. During this live on April 24 he said he was working on new songs but it was difficult.

JK left for Los Angeles again on June 14 and returned to Korea on June 22. Sohee left for LA the day after he did and came back on the same day but different flight? I don't know how many flights a day there are between Seoul and LA.

There were a lot of special effects in that video so I suspect they filmed the bulk of the video in April and finished up or reshot some scenes in June? I saw yesterday someone involved with the MV shoot said 118 people were on the lighting crew for the MV.

If there was payola, it would be playing everywhere all the time already. The playlist thing: just like "like crazy eng. ver", seven entered the Today's Top Hits playlist. But at #23 place. Seven is doing AWESOME numbers because: its a english catchy song, with a cute mv, sang by THEE Jeon Jungkook. Im not joking, seven is really a gp success.. yesterday i saw 3 people from my daily life and inner circle talking about loving the song. My sister, who is not an army, said that she listened to the song all day while i was not home. Gp is loving it. So they did with butter (which is a eng song too), but Seven has a differential: the clean and explict version r being counted combined. Plus, seven is doing awesome everywhere, even in korean charts.

If there was something shady going on, i dont think they would make more than 1 version for the song, even on youtube (there is a new perfomance video for the explict ver). They would just send to radios and count on the payola and the deals w spotify, tiktok, youtube, for the charts (thats what most western artists does). But since billboard started filtering the songs so much so that made like crazy drop from 1 to 45 in a week and then stopped counting digital versions from usa based artist stores, BTS had to start making available to fans different versions of the same song because they know they cant count on radio, but can count on the sales and streams. Since Like Crazy, i feel like Hybe is experimenting ways of overcoming the sabotage by the industry.

The thing is, i think we can and should talk and raise questions about how jimin was treated badly, in every chart and streaming platform. For example, views from youtube were not being frozen in Yoongi's songs too, just like jk's. So, its not a privilege that jk is receiving, its just that something was really happening with face promotions, who knows what and why. But that was not jk's or any member fault.

Anyway, i'm happy for jk and i know much more is coming his way. And i cant wait for jimin to make a new comeback soon too. I hope it all goes well yk, Jimin deserves the best in his promotions just like jk and the other members. Lets hope. based on tarot. i do not know these idols personally. energies are always changing. what i say is NOT straight fact. pls take it with a grain of salt!

what will the vibe of the album be? kingofc, knofp, temp, 3ofsw

very chill, relaxed and laidback vibe. very mature as well. likely to contain a lot of slower and smooth jams that are easy to listen to, like some r&b tracks or jazz vibes. perhaps some stripped back acoustic ones as well.

visually speaking, all i keep seeing is these warm tones.. like orange, reddish. i think it'll be sexy and kinda fiery. but could also be very dark and.. murky? maybe both. (two mv's for two diff songs, maybe?)

it might contain a more emotional and vulnerable side that we haven't seen from taehyung before. he could be brutally honest and really lay his soul bare, put a lot of his heart into the lyrics. i feel like he's aiming for the album to talk more about kim taehyung the person, rather than the "famous bts member". in a way that'll really make you go wow 😳 and pleasantly surprise you.

i can see the album also discussing some heavy and darker topics, just really hit you emotionally. there'll be a lot of depth to the lyrics, as well as the sound.

he is however, a bit frustrated with the timing of it all. i'm getting some impatience here. the company seems very particular and strict about finding the perfect release date and he feels like things are too slow, it's just taking too long.

still, he's trying to remain optimistic. there's definitely this huge desire for him to put his best and most effort into it, so he's trying to take advantage of time giving him more opportunities to truly perfect it. the ace of cups in the end leads me to believe that once it finally gets out, it'll be a rather emotional release for him.

I look like your worst nightmare. Jk. I've got brown eyes that are constantly surrounded with the shittiest "grunge" eyeshadow you'll ever see, waist length brown hair with a lil bit of blonde highlights and SLUT STRANDS!! (shorter hair in the front). I'm around 5'8 and definitely on the thinner side, but not unhealthy (I eat like a bodybuilder). My style is kinda all over the place. For example, today I'm wearing my favourite tiny black and white pleated skirt with a GIANT band shirt and docs, but tomorrow I could be wearing hippie pants and a teeny tiny crop top. To summarise my fashion, either a new band shirt every day with 2 different tiny skirts, hippie pants and a tiny crop top or low rise pants with a tiny crop top. As for shoes, it's either docs or my beat up converse. I've got my first and second lobes pierced as well as my naval, tan-ish skin depending on the time of year and a lil bit of acne.

Now time for who I am as a person. I'm either gonna be super degrading or sound like a dickhead but ANYWAYS MOVVING ONNNNN. I'm pretty extroverted and sometimes loud but I can also get quiet and distracted very quickly (thanks ADHD and autism!). I love love LOVE parties and drinking and also loud concerts in the pit. I can never like something a normal amount, it has to be my ENTIRE personality lol. I'm somehow both a girls girl and also one of those "name 5 songs" mfs when I someone in a band shirt (I ONLY ASK MEN THO COS IT'S FUNNY). I squeal at my favourite things like a stereotypical fangirl and I talk to my parents like they're my friends. I'm the most CLUMBSY MOTHERFUCKER YOU WILL EVER MEET AND MY LOW ASS IRON DOESN'T HELP WITH THE BRUISING. I don't think I'm dumb considering I'm a writer with the grades to back me up on that but I definitely struggle in school because I miss so much of it (thanks seasonal depression, you go girl!). But I'm optimistic for the future.

HOBBIES TIME MY FAVOURITE!! I'm a HUUUUGE musician. I've been playing piano since I was 2 (started actual lessons when i was like 7 tho), cello since I was 12, guitar since I was 14 and bass since I was 15. I've also been singing for as long as I can remember and as of right now I'm in a metal band with my friends on vocals and bass. I also dance on the side for the fitness (guess who can tap dance!) and I LOVE reading and writing fanfiction. I've also spent over $500 on FUCKING CDS because I'm so normal about my interests! /s

I know this is probably super long already but if you wanna read some random facts abt me then here:

-I either cry never or all the time

He can sober himself up to do that as he knows you are clumsy and a drunk clumsy you... bad idea in his mind, he'll carry you.

He adores that you can tap dance. He can’t do tap but he is an exceptionally good dancer with very good hip movement ;)

He loves reading your writing and he is very supportive of it.

He is impressed at your musical abilities and you often jam together. He normally picks to play saxophone with you.

I don't consider myself sone because I don't know their discography and their stories (yet) but I really have a huge affection for them, I've grown up listening to their most famous songs and when they had their Forever 1 comeback I fell in love with them even more.
