PARANOID.
wednesday addams x fem!reader
summary: wednesday becomes what one would call "jealous" and the only way to get her to stop is through confession.
warnings: none.
word amount: 2300+
a/n: this is a rewrite of my old wednesday fic "jealousy doesn't suit me well" (old version now archived)
Ajax, a gorgon boy, was somebody that you considered your best friend. He was one, if not the most energetic person you’ve met beside Enid. You loved him dearly, seeing as he was the only person willing to even sit next to you in class when you first started at Nevermore, and your friendship with him quickly grew.
In present time, you hung out with a newcomer in the same year as you, a deathly Wednesday Addams, more than you hung out with Ajax. He understood well, seeing as your crush on the monotone girl grew like wildfire and he was distancing himself from you too, finding his time consumed by day-to-day dealing with his own crush.
A nice, peculiar girl by the name of Enid Sinclair, but God, did she have to annoy you that much? You knew she only ever meant well, so you tolerated her for the sake of Wednesday and Ajax.
As the months drew closer to summer, you made a pact with the gorgon that you would hang out with him a lot more for the sake of friendship, homework, and crushes. That put a toll on Enid, constantly being cornered by the girl and swearing to make pinky promises that you weren’t sneakily getting with him, which you mentally gagged at the thought of.
He was a nice guy. Well groomed, kind-hearted, intelligent, and attractive, but he just wasn’t for you. After all, your eyes grew into hearts only for one psychotic goth girl.
On the topic of her, your constant hanging out didn’t only affect Enid, but Wednesday too, the girl seemingly more sullen and dead-eyed when you’d drop by her dorm to say goodnight after spending the entire day with Ajax. She constantly bombared you with questions…
“Where were you?”
“Were you alone with him?”
“Why do you feel the need to constantly be in his presence?”
And every time, you’d give her the same answer.
“I can’t tell you.”
That wasn’t a lie, you genuinely couldn’t for the life of your own sanity and Ajax’s. She’d shut up after your responses, to your surprise, and give you a small goodbye before shutting the door in your face.
You felt bad, and you’d only hope your plan would work out in the end. Your shreds of hope being thin didn’t ever help your nerves as the days passed by like television calendar montages, paper after paper being discarded because you just couldn’t form your emotions right.
In the present timeline, your head was lulled down as you made your way through the halls of Ophelia, walking down the pathway mindlessly with your feet stuttering a bit as if you were a drunkard. Your hand rummaged in your pants, desperately trying to get a grip on the slippery key, and you shut your eyes in contentment when you pulled the metallic object out of your pocket.
“Finally.” A mutter was vocalized from nobody but you, rubbing your eyes with your other hand from your need for rest as you trudged up to your dorm room door, the space empty as your former roommate had recently faced expulsion for a reason that was still classified as unknown. You shoved the key into the lock with might, hand clasping over your mouth as you let out a deep yawn, feet stuttering once more into the room.
You were tired, but even saying that was an understatement. You felt close to death, your classes taking their normal toll on you, and you knew you shouldn’t have agreed to help Eugene get his bees in control at the tiring hour of 5:30 a.m. It had been nineteen hours since you had awakened, and last time you checked, that wasn’t a good thing in your books.
The bright lights lit up the room immediately after flipping the switch, verbally groaning, and shutting your eyes as you walked further into the room. You soon faced your closet, squinting your eyes as you searched for a fresh pair of pajamas, but your eyes flew open, and you let out a small yelp at the voice coming from the other side of the room.
“Back so late?”
“Fuck, Wednesday!” You jumped, your hands flying to your chest in an attempt to calm your breathing. Through your widened eyes, you noticed the girl sitting on your former roommate's bed, hands intertwined and set on her lap, her posture straight, and her eyes bored into your figure. “You are aware it’s midnight, right? What’re you doing here?”
“I could only presume you were aware of the time too.” Wednesday stood up, her posture still straight, and she walked toward your study desk, fixing up the mess that consisted of pencils and papers strewn out. “Curfew was two hours ago.”
You grabbed a plain black shirt from your closet, turning to give her a quick ‘really?’ look. “Yes, because I bet you care so much about curfew. Need I remind you of the times you forced me to break the rules last year?” The gothic girl didn’t reply, shuffling your papers into one thick stack.
“It was for commendatory reasoning. I know nothing about your trips; carry on the fact that you prefer to keep them private, but I can assure myself that what it is that you’re breaking curfew for isn’t an adequate reason.” She spoke calmly, well-paced, and formally; you could only mentally snarl at her quick-wittedness.
You moved to your drawers, pulling out the first pair of shorts that revealed themselves. Wednesday faced you now, her eyes never leaving your figure as she awaited a response from you. Her eyes were filled with their normal sense of death and destruction, but almost had a small glint of… sadness?
“And yet,” you started off, shutting the drawer closed and throwing the clothes on your bed, “here you are, in my dorm instead of yours. If you’re going to berate me for rebelling against a simple curfew, at least don’t be a hypocrite about it.”
“What were you doing today?” She disregarded your words; her body leaned against your study desk, and your head turned to face her, eyes unconsciously raking over her body from her shoulders to her legs. “It’s like you want to hear the same answer every time.”
“I’d rather not.” She pushed herself off your desk, the lingering of your eyes over her body not going unnoticed, a small smirk begging to form against her lips. “I was hoping to get a different answer from you—the truthful one, you could call it.”
“The truthful one?” You questioned. She did a curt nod, her bangs jumping slightly from the movement. “Fine. I went to Séance Society at 1:30, Archery Club at 2:30, and then Ajax and I went into town. We stopped at the Weathervane for coffee and to do homework, then we walked around before we went to a corner store to buy snacks. We waddled all the way back to the school grounds, and here I am.”
At the end of your sentence, you pointed to your shoes, marking your location. Wednesday only sucked her teeth, taking a step forward before crossing her arms. “And?”
Your lips thinned, with dimples popping out at the action, and you tried your hardest not to create an outburst. You questioned how you'd managed to develop a crush on her when she drives you crazy. “That’s it. Why do you care so much?”
Wednesday’s expression didn’t change, but she was having a mental battle with figuring out an excuse to say that would sound like her. “You are my friend, and I care about my friends.” That didn’t sound like her at all. “I must know your whereabouts at all times for your safety.”
“Bullshit.” You stated, your gaze now fixed on her. “You wouldn’t ever admit that, meaning that those words were an on-the-spot lie-”
“Well, we’re not on the topic of me right now.” She interrupted, annoyance lacing her voice at your accusations—your true accusations. “We’re conversing about you and your secrecy. Tell me what you do with him; I’m not asking anymore.”
Your eyebrows furrowed, and you let out an agitated huff at her sternness. Your mind was in a battle, deciding whether today was the day or if you should just tell her half the truth. Would Ajax kill you? Maybe, but your confidence was at an all-time low, and you had no other options.
“Ajax’s been discussing with me a... uhm, sort of... plan about Enid. Ajax has a crush on her, and we’ve been figuring out a way for him to, er, confess his feelings to her so they can date. Yeah…”
God, did you suck at lying, and Wednesday could see right through you. She advanced toward you this time, and from the distance between the two of you, you could see the mixed emotions welling up in her gaze. “What else?”
“Wh-that’s it, Wednesday. I swear-”
“But your swears mean nothing.” Ouch. “You couldn’t hold eye contact with me; your words were faltering; your fingers were itching at your arm; and your voice was half an octave higher. I firmly believe you are truthful in your speech about Ajax and Enid, but you’re lying to me about it being the whole truth.”
You gulped, your brain shredding under her gaze, and you thought hard. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-
“Fine!” You huffed, stomping to the front door and crouching down to pick up the bag that you left. Wednesday would rather die than admit that she mentally flinched at your tone, watching as you ruffled around in the bag before pulling out a journal.
“Now is not the time to ask for my help on your homework, (Y/L/N).” You shook your head at her words, walking back to where you stood before and opening up the journal on a random page. Inside that page was a folded piece of paper, and your fingers twitched as you went to pick it up.
To say your nerves were at their peak would be a trivialization when you looked up and saw Wednesday standing directly in front of you, staring at you with narrowed eyes. You drew your hand out in her direction, silently telling her to take the paper, which she did not. “What is that?”
“Read it and find out. Not today, though! Tomorrow seems like a goo-” Wednesday took the paper, carelessly opening it, and her eyebrows scrunched when she saw how much was written. She looked up at you with curious eyes, not preparing to be outside your dorm room with the door slammed in her face a couple of seconds later.
You sank into the door, hands over your face, and you screamed, the sounds of embarrassment muffled. “Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!” You repeated, bolting away from the door, settling into your chair, and gasping for air. You sat there for about thirty seconds, though it felt like hours, when a knock was placed on the door.
"Y/N, open the door," Your ears pick up Wednesday's voice, which is quieter than you anticipated and infused with a rare warmth. She sounded sincere rather than irritated or sarcastic.
You took a deep breath, getting up from your chair and going to unlock the door while swallowing your anxiety and peering out to see Wednesday's frustrated expression.
"Look, I know this is unexpected," you started in a voice that was shaking. ”However, what I stated in that letter is real. Wednesday, I've liked you for a while.”
It was like a major weight was taken off of your shoulders. You had finally confessed to the girl you’d been chasing for over a year, and you watched a battle happen through her eyes, multiple emotions mixed in her mind and overdosing her brain.
There’s a slight shift in Wednesday's mood, and you can see the turmoil in her eyes. "I do not understand why you would think that about me. I'm not exactly the easiest person to be around," she acknowledged, her tone containing a hint of vulnerability. Your eyes softened at her words, a pang of sympathy coursing through you for the girl.
She had been so despised, so targeted, even if most of it was her fault, that it broke her down — broke her mindset down into believing that she was unlovable, even by her friends.
You take a step forward, your attention fixed on her. "You may not realize it, Wednesday, but you are incredible. You're powerful and unique, and I respect how you remain loyal to yourself regardless of what people say. Your willingness to go against standards intrigues me."
Her usually stoic face shows a small crack, a glimpse of uncertainty. "I've never been in a situation like this," she confessed quietly. You found that hard to believe; the beauty of the girl was something you drowned in most days, but you knew that it was the truth because people were afraid of her. Never you, though.
With a gentle smile, you say, "Me neither, but that's okay. If you let me, we can figure it out together."
Wednesday keeps silent for a second before taking a cautious step closer to you. "You make me feel... different, too," she confesses, carefully choosing her words. You clench your jaw to fight off the large grin that threatens to form on your face, and your heartbeat remained fast-paced, but for a different reason this time.
You reach out, taking her hand with caution in your movement. You didn’t want to make her uncomfortable in anyway, but she reassured you when she gave your hand a light squeeze. “We don’t have to figure out anything right now. Consider this… confession?” You gave her a small smile, and it grew wider when your eyes fell on the corners of her lips, watching them twitch into the smallest smile.
“Confession.”

— falling asleep (in your arms)
pairing: wednesday addams x fem!oni!reader
warnings: angst, mentions of blood and death (it's mostly fluff tho)
summary: the best rest you could ever get was always by her side
word count: 3.3k
Wednesday tapped her foot against the lacquered floor impatiently as she stood next to the door of the resident oni’s room, waiting for the girl to come out. She didn’t have a phone, nor did she wear a wristwatch – she didn’t like the aesthetic is all – but her gut told her that it had already been past breakfast time.
Fixing the strap of the black backpack on her shoulder, Wednesday turned to finally knock at the door, doing so especially loudly. When she didn’t hear footsteps, she decided to invite herself in, turning the handle with a swift hand and looking around, annoyed.
The windows were half – open, letting the sounds of birds chirping outside in. Books were scattered across the desk that stood against the wall, the leaves of the small bonsai tree moving in tune with the gusts of wind entering the room and gently worrying the curtains.
Wednesday’s gaze landed on a big lump of blankets laying on the bed, quiet snores coming from under the layers.
Wonderful. She was still in bed.
“(Y/n). Wake up.” The ravenette called out sternly.
No answer came.
“You’re going to be late for class if you don’t get up this instant, (Y/n).” Wednesday warned, her voice gaining volume.
Still no answer.
“I’m not letting you copy my notes. You better wake up right now.”
This time a groan came from the lump resting on the bed, and the demon buried under the warm layers turned on her side, a clawed hand coming out to hang over the edge.
“Tell Weems I ate someone and got arrested.” (Y/n) grumbled, her voice heavy with sleepiness.
“She’ll drop everything to go bail you out.” The ravenette objected, crossing her arms as she walked up to stand over the demon, watching her sleepy face emerge from the sea of comforters.
“Fuck, no she won’t…”
Wednesday sighed, looking down at (Y/n) sternly, “Stop being so immature. Get up or I’m leaving without you.”
“Five more minutes, maybe?” The demon girl asked, her signature slitted puppy eyes making Wednesday frown.
“No, (Y/n),” she replied firmly, refusing to let the cute act get ahold of her, “You’re already running late. We need to get to class.”
(Y/n) scoffed, hiding her face in her pillow resentfully, “Is this what Enid has to go through every morning? No wonder her attendance’s been perfect since the day you came.” She grumbled, voice muffled.
Wednesday rolled her eyes. This was so stupid.
“Fine. Five more minutes and not a second more.”
(Y/n) lifted her face up again, and this time her toothy mouth was adorned by a happy grin. Scooching a bit away from the edge of the bed closer to the wall, her clawed palm patted the empty space, wordlessly inviting the smaller girl to join.
Wednesday’s shoulders sagged, and, leaving her backpack by the edge of the bed and taking of her shoes, she got into the bed, instantly getting smothered by the taller girl wrapping her arms around her shoulders and burying her face into her jet – black hair.
The oni’s frame was emitting heat, and the demon was purring up a storm – Wednesday could feel the vibrations resonate in (Y/n)’s chest, and the feeling had a somewhat calming effect on the gloomy girl.
It was always like this. Why was Wednesday always giving in? She supposed it had something to do with the warm feelings she had for the irresponsible oni demon.
With a small huff the ravenette wrapped her arms around the taller girl’s middle, resting her cheek on the purring demon’s chest, the sound like a powerful machine engine this close.
Five more minutes.
Flipping through the yellow pages of the huge book, Wednesday’s eyes trailed over the written words in hopes of finding something that would lead her closer to the truth in her investigation. The bestiary was a thick old book with a brown leather cover, no doubt touched and used by a myriad of people before her, and getting her hands on such a relic was surely worth something.
So there she was, in the dead of the night, sitting in the library with one of the only people she could trust at the academy – (Y/n). The demon was reluctant to join at first, but agreed ultimately, not wanting the girl to go down all alone if she was caught sneaking around past curfew. (Y/n) doubted she could be of use to Wednesday in the matter of intelligence and mystery solving, but at least she could keep her company.
Wednesday turned another page, and her eyes widened. There it was, painted with a light hand of a master artist, back slouched and eyes bulging – the hyde.
“(Y/n), look,” she pulled at the sleeve of the demon girl sitting next to her, not tearing her gaze away from the book, “I found it.”
The oni hummed, having been uncharacteristically quiet for the past half an hour, and shuffled by the smaller girl’s side. Wednesday felt weight on her shoulder, but still didn’t look up at her companion.
Focusing on the small amount of information given, she squinted, her finger tracing over the sentences as she read. The language was complicated, but not enough to confuse the great Wednesday Addams.
“He has a master,” she murmured under her breath, slowly digesting the new discovery, “That means, whoever they are, the master has awakened the hyde from his subconsciousness and is giving out orders...” Wednesday raised her head up to look at the taller girl, “Do oni demons also need some kind of an awakening for their true forms, too?”
Wednesday stared at the other girl, unblinking.
She was... asleep.
Leaning against the ravenette’s shoulder snuggly, (Y/n) had her arms folded on her chest, and, breathing evenly, the oni girl snored away. Her eyebrows were furrowed, an evidence of a dream she was most likely seeing, and on her tusked mouth was a small frown.
Wednesday sighed. Her eyes traced over the demon's expression, then she turned back to the book, reaching her hand to tangle her manicured fingers in the demon's (h/c) hair, scratching at her scalp and hoping to ease the girl's worried slumber.
This oni demon could certainly use an awakening. But she'd let it slide for now.
Early morning sunlight shone through the slit between the thick beige curtains right onto (Y/n)’s face. The demon scrunched her nose in irritation as her eyes slowly pried open, squinting immediately. She brought a hand up to cover her face, then slowly sat up, rubbing at her tired lids. The clock on her bedside table read 5:12 – too early to be up. The (h/c) – haired demon yawned, stretching her long limbs over her head, and the oni’s movements were almost enough to wake up the small lump sleeping next to her.
Almost.
(Y/n)’s gaze slid down to where Wednesday laid beside her, the ravenette’s hands that were previously wrapped around the demon’s clawed palm now clutching the bedsheets, and the oni watched her chest rise and fall slowly with every breath she took. (Y/n) was content with watching the gloomy girl sleep soundly, her small body curled up against the demon’s. She’s never seen Wednesday so peaceful and relaxed, the sight a complete adoration, making her heart swell with warmth.
Unable to hold herself back any longer, (Y/n) leaned down to press a gentle smooch to the girl’s freckled cheekbone. She lingered there for a few moments, then her lips trailed lower, aiming at Wednesday’s chin, then up to her nose and the corner of her left eyelid. When she was done peppering her face with kisses, she pulled away, smiling softly. Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t enough to wake the dead - asleep girl up, so (Y/n) made the choice to lay back down on her side, resting her head in her palm to watch Wednesday sleep.
God, she loved mornings like this. Waking up next to Wednesday brought her day a reason.
“I can feel you staring at me.” Came the smaller girl’s deadpan voice suddenly, her mouth moving, but eyes still remaining closed.
“Didn’t mean to wake you up.” (Y/n) grinned, a clawed finger coming to get some stray disheveled hair out of her pretty pale face. Wednesday’s nose scrunched at the tickling feeling, and she opened her eyes to look at the demon.
“What time is it?” She asked.
“Too early to worry. You should sleep a bit more.”
“We’ll miss breakfast.”
“No, we won’t. There’s still some time left,” the oni assured, resting her palm on Wednesday’s cheek, her thumb smoothing over the skin there, “Have I ever told you how pretty you look in the morning? You ought to let sunlight graze your features more often, despite how much you claim to loathe it.”
She watched Wednesday’s face heat up, and the gloomy girl frowned, turning on her side and away from the other, “Goodnight, (Y/n).”
The demon chuckled, moving closer to the embarrassed heap of covers that was her girlfriend, then wrapped a hand over her waist, her lips ghosting over Wednesday’s ear, and, as she spoke, her blunt tusks tickled, making goosebumps rise up the ravenette’s neck, “I wonder if there’s something I could do to set your mood for the day...”
“Goodnight, (Y/n).”
Desperately trying to keep herself upright, (Y/n) walked through the dark forest, her clawed fingers digging into the tree trunks and leaving marks as she stumbled. She was tired – but victorious, and, slowly making her way through the woods and back to the academy, the demon left behind a mauled body of her enemy she had to fight just a few moments ago – the hyde.
(Y/n) didn’t think she’d stumble upon Tyler, but she was glad it was her who did.
“Where is she, Galpin.”
“Oh, you didn’t hear? Addams is dead. She was no longer needed,” the young man chuckled, stepping closer into the demon’s face, but barely even intimidating her, “And you’re next.”
“Fuck,” (Y/n) choked, raising her fist to her suddenly wet eyes to wipe the tears away, “You better be a fucking liar above else, you worthless piece of shit. Or I’ll come back and finish you off.” She cursed, talking to herself in the haze of worry clouding her mind.
Decency the last thing on her mind, the oni stepped on the dirty ground, half – naked, covered in blood and exhausted, but her heart ached and the only thing able to soothe it would be seeing Wednesday, alive and well, pressing her closer and letting the weight and the warmth of her body ground (Y/n). Then she’d let her guard down, let her shoulders sag and eyes close.
(Y/n)’s grip turned white on the chipped stone walls when she walked up to the building, looking around the burned school grounds. The wind blew, chilling the oni to the bone, but did nothing to stop her.
She had to find Wednesday. Somewhere deep inside her guts she had a feeling the ravenette was still alive. The hope was small, like a weak flame burning in her chest, but she refused to let it die.
(Y/n) stopped in her tracks, hanging her head to take a few deep breaths. Then she looked up, and her slitted eyes widened.
There, standing in the middle of the yard with a broken blade in her hand, was the small black – haired girl. Her breath heavy, hair disheveled and a small trail of blood was running down her face.
The demon’s naked feet hurt as she stepped onto the stony surface of the quad, burned down and destroyed, but her legs refused to carry her further anymore.
“Wednesday.”
The ravenette turned at the sound of her name, and her eyes widened.
“(Y/n).”
Throwing her sword away, she ran up to the taller girl, just in time to wrap her arms around her middle when the demon felt her knees buckle. Burying her face in the oni’s chest, not caring about the sticky blood smearing across her cheek, she squeezed her eyes closed.
“You’re okay.” (Y/n) mumbled, her arms encircling Wednesday’s waist, her lips pressing against her hair with a shaky sigh, and the lump in her throat was impossible to fight anymore.
“Don’t cry, mio cuore,” Wednesday murmured, looking up and raising a gentle palm to wipe the tears that rolled down the demon’s cheeks freely, mixing with blood and pouring down her dirty chin, “It’s over now.”
Her grey eyes trailed down to the demon’s bloodied frame, worry swirling in the dark pools, “Are you hurt?”
The demon shook her head, a watery grin on her tusked mouth, “It’s not mine,” she assured, pressing her hand against Wednesday’s where it rested on her cheek, “Tyler told me you were...”
“It’s a long story,” the ravenette shushed the demon, not wanting to unnerve her further, “But I’m okay now.”
(Y/n)’s pointed ear flicked when she caught an unfamiliar sound. She lifted her face, turning her head to find the source of the noise, and her eyes widened.
A click of a gun hammer.
The demon’s lip raised threateningly, baring her blunt tusks at the woman stepping into the quad. Holding a revolver in a shaky but firm grip was Thornhill – well, that’s what she was known as to (Y/n), but now she could tell whatever had happened at the academy during her absence was, undoubtedly, her fault. The bloody gash on Wednesday's forehead, too.
“I heard you butchered Tyler, (Y/n),” the teacher raised her eyebrows, smiling in a way that made the demon want to rip her throat out, “To be expected from an animal like you... But here’s the thing – animals are always hunted. While you can defeat a monster weaker than you, you can’t go against a hunter.”
Pressing her palm into Wednesday’s shoulder, (Y/n) pulled the smaller girl behind herself, growling menacingly, slitted (e/c) eyes glistening under the angrily furrowed eyebrows.
“You know... You are the victor after all,” Thornhill shrugged, as if completely unfazed by the intimidating display of demonic wrath in front of her, “That’s how it’s done in the wild, isn’t it? You won, and for that I’ll grant you mercy... If you step away from Addams. What do you say? You’ll get to live the eternity you were always so afraid of instead of exchanging it for a life of a mere outcast girl.”
“It’ll take more than a flimsy gun to take me down, Thornhill,” the angered oni growled, huffing a small cloud of steam out of her flared nostrils, “Your pet wasn’t enough, and you won’t be, either. Leave while you still have legs to walk on.”
“(Y/n), stop it. It’s not you she wants.” Wednesday said worriedly, moving to stand beside (Y/n), but the demon raised her arm up in front of the ravenette, not letting her step away from behind her.
The red – haired woman chuckled, her grip on the gun tightening, “Oh. Well. Too bad then, (Y/n). I always told you – you keep letting your emotions get in the way of right decisions.”
A shot rang through the yard, and Wednesday gasped, but the taller girl in front of her didn’t budge. A pool of dark red seeped through the demon’s haori, and she grinned at the woman in front of her, “Nice try.”
“Don’t worry. This was just a warning shot.” Thornhill tilted her head and pulled the trigger again.
Blood trickled down the demon girl’s stomach, and a small sputter of the crimson liquid left her mouth, turning the oni’s tusked grin bloody. Thornhill’s eyes widened, and she fired another bullet at (Y/n), hitting her in the shoulder. Blood spilled and skin broke, but she remained unrelenting, standing in front of Wednesday like a guarding brick wall.
“Why won’t you just die?!”
Suddenly there came a quiet buzzing sound, and a small bee landed on the barrel of the gun in the teacher’s hand. Then, the noise came louder, and a huge swarm of fluffy insects flew into the quad, clouding around the woman, making her shout and fire at the bees with no success. Turning her head, Wednesday saw Eugene walk up to her, holding his hand out and guiding the swarm.
(Y/n) could barely hold herself up anymore – she felt her knees buckle, back slouching, as if an invisible weight was pressing her down, and the oni’s mouth started to fill up with crimson liquid, making her choke and fall to her knees. She felt small hands grasp at her middle, trying to soften her fall, and as her back landed on someone's lap, (Y/n)’s half – lidded eyes met Wednesday’s.
“(Y/n). It’s just a few gunshot wounds. Why aren’t you regenerating.” The ravenette deadpanned, trying her best to keep her voice from wavering. But the demon was silent – she opened her mouth, and no sound came as she tried to greedily catch some air into her aching lungs.
“(Y/n), are you listening? You have one job. Pull yourself together and regenerate. Stop slacking off like you always do!”
Wednesday’s hands shook as she pressed her pale palms into the wound in the demon’s chest, desperately trying to stop the never-ending flow of blood. A clawed hand laid on top of hers, and (Y/n) coughed, furrowing her brows at the awful pain.
“Think I’ve... spent all the energy. Not enough to heal.” She wheezed, squeezing her eyes closed.
“Then make it enough, (Y/n),” Wednesday demanded shakily, hand moving to hold the demon’s face, leaving a scarlet imprint on her cheek, “Don’t you dare close your eyes. Don’t fall asleep, (Y/n). You aren’t done. Please.”
“Hurts so fucking bad,” the oni complained, but opened her lids in obedience, (e/c) orbs finding the face of the smaller girl above her, “This is... my first time feeling like this. I don’t like getting shot.”
“No one likes getting shot, you idiot.”
(Y/n) chuckled, and the sound quickly got overtaken by a violent coughing fit.
“You can’t die, (Y/n). You’re a demon, you’re supposed to live for centuries, damn you!” Wednesday felt her eyes water, a sob stuck in her throat, “I-If you die, I’ll go straight to whatever circle of hell you end up in to drag you out and then kill you myself!”
“Sorry, little raven,” the demon apologized quietly, “I wouldn’t have it any other way... You know you look way better in black than me.”
A single wet drop landed on (Y/n)’s collarbone, then another on her neck. The demon’s eyes widened – the small ravenette above her was crying. Her bottom lip shook, and she closed her eyes, bringing the oni’s bloodied palm to her cheek, leaning her face against the cold limb that was always so warm before.
“You can’t leave me. You promised you won’t.”
(Y/n) grunted. There were black spots dancing in her vision, but her misty (e/c) eyes refused to give up their focus on the girl above her. The picture was blurred and hazy, and she felt like there was a heavy stone plate lying over her chest, but the distraught look on Wednesday’s face hurt more than any wound ever could.
“You should’ve seen Galpin, though,” the demon grinned, delirious from the blood loss, “I almost ripped the guy to shreds. I would’ve done the world a favor by killing him, but I didn’t for... some reason. I think I’m getting soft. Because of you,” she coughed, voice turning raspier, “It’s always been like that for me. Learning to kill. Learning to conquer. But with you I think... I found a different purpose.”
(Y/n) leaned into the touch of Wednesday's palm, soft as a pillow, the most comfortable and tranquil of all places she could ever find herself in.
“I’m so tired, ‘Nes. You think I deserve to rest now?”

Hidden
Pairings: Wednesday Addams x gn!telekinetic reader
Summary: sometimes hidden things shine the brightest
Warnings: blood, Xavier, R just wants to murder somebody, nothing really happens, i wrote this during Chemistry an hour ago, it’s been a while since I’ve written anything.
Word Count: 0.7k
Most people agree that if you have to hide a relationship, you shouldn’t be in it. You thought you’d agree too, but something about hiding was just so appealing to you. Maybe it was the challenge that you like - forcing yourself to keep your hands off of her when around others, sneaking around, lying.
‘thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour’
Then why was it so fun? Why was wait so painful and yet beautiful?
The longer the wait, the sweeter the kiss, you told yourself. The longer you spent away, the better the nights together were. You lived for them. And quite frankly, you weren’t sure if you wanted more than what you had right now. This was enough: wanting, waiting, getting.
The way her cold, slender fingers twitched against your neck when you kissed her. How she would pretend to not want to kiss you, when she wanted it more than you did. Her cocky smirk whenever you’d come pleading to her.
For some unknown reason, you loved being hidden. You adorned your illicit love affair. It was Wednesday’s idea, keeping it hidden. At first you wanted to scream it from the rooftops, ‘I’m in love with Wednesday Addams!’ But then it wouldn’t be just yours.
This love, if that’s what you could call it anymore, was just yours and you wanted to keep it that way. Wednesday was just yours. And vice versa, of course.
But then there was a problem that came with the secrets.
The wanton from outside parties.
Fucking Tyler and Xavier. You hated them.
How were those brainless beings supposed to shower her in the love that she deserved? They could barely keep themselves together, you saw it. How Tyler would falter whenever you and Wednesday walked into the Weathervane, and how Xavier would show off his powers in the middle of your botany lessons in an attempt to impress her.
“Stop it.” Her voice was harsh, making you pull your glare away from Tyler. It didn’t help that he had kept on coming over to your table to refill Wednesday’s quad over ice. He didn’t even spare a glance at you, Wednesday’s tutee.
Then, much to your look, Xavier walked in.
He waltzed right over like he owned the place, putting his hands onto your shoulders like a condescending parent, “y/n, do you mind if I speak to Wednesday for a second?”
Your jaw clenched and your eyes twitched, “Thorpe, if you don’t remove your hands, you won’t have them anymore,” You would’ve kept to your threat if it wasn’t for Wednesday’s look.
Xavier’s hands were forced up against his will and he punched himself twice, making you smile at Wednesday, who rolled her eyes.
“Xavier, I’m tutoring y/n, you imbecile, I’m busy,” She didn’t bother to motion to the worksheets or notebooks, anyone with eyes could see them.
You thought of the faceless students, and how much more bearable Xavier would be if he was one of them. The school wouldn’t have to hear his incessant ranting of how much he hated his father.
Teenage angst sucks.
Xavier just held his now-bleeding nose with wide eyes, not processing Wednesday’s words, “You bi-“ His words were cut off when he no longer had the ability to open his mouth.
You turned around with a glare, “Do not mess with me, Thorpe. If I really wanted to, I could squeeze the breath out of your lungs,” Xavier began to breathe heavily through his nose in search of more oxygen, sputtering when a large amount of his blood started forming a sphere in front of his eyes, “Or drain you of every last drop of blood in your body.”
“Hey!” A barista yelled out, pointing a finger at you, “No powers.”
You smirked at Xavier, turning to face Wednesday and releasing your hold on him.
Wednesday didn’t look amused in the slightest, so your smirk dropped. But then you felt a tap and saw Thing hand you a piece of paper.
I’m yours, y/n.
It read in swooping, sloping, cursive letters. You looked up and met Wednesday’s stoic eyes with a crooked smile.
And though most would argue that Wednesday’s eyes eyes held no emotion, you would argue that they held all of them. Just because they were hidden, didn’t mean that they weren’t there.
Just because your relationship is hidden, doesn’t mean that it’s not there.
Your relationship was Sirius, hidden by the light pollution that was Nevermore’s ignorance.
You wore Wednesday’s love like an ostentatious piece of jewellery, but it was hidden beneath your shirt. The outline was there, begging people to look at it, but it didn’t shine, so no one cared for it.
But that didn’t matter because after all, Wednesday was just yours.

But I wanted to go with you.
Wednesday Addams x fem!reader
Could be read as gn!reader too
Warnings: making out (?)
☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°★.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°★.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
I was making my way to Wednesday's dorm with a black dahlia flower in my hand, going over to apologize for ever ending our relationship and maybe if I got lucky she would agree to go to The Rave'N with me. We'd been very happy dating for about two months when she started to get very distant not even bothering to answer when I talked half of the time, her excuse was always that she was busy writing in her novel. So I couldn't take any more and broke it off with her, her reaction was honestly very unexpected, when I first pulled her over to tell her after fencing one evening her only response was "ok." Before she wandered off not looking too affected by it. But the next morning when you were leaving your room for class you almost stepped in a heart shaped box - that was obviously suggested by Enid filled with different kinds of chocolates with a note on top saying "I'm sorry my love. - W. A. ".
I was walking a little bit fast, being that is was almost curfew already. I was almost there when I overheard Xavier talking happily to Ajax about how Wednesday had asked him to the dance a few hours earlier by his art shed.
I stopped in my tracks, had I heard wrong? Did Wednesday really ask Xavier out of all people to the dance? I never even knew she liked him like that, I thought they were merely acquaintances who had a few classes together, and I could have sworn Wednesday was still interested in me.
I merely looked down at the beautiful flower I was planning on giving her before dropping it on the ground and stepping on it, then turning back and walking to my dorm again, feeling sad and a tiny bit betrayed. I just walked straight to my bed not even bothering to take off my shoes then falling asleep after crying of self pity a bit.
However what you didn't know that Wednesday really just had to ask Xavier to the dance to not be seen as suspicious to why she was in his art shed in the first place. So when you didn't show up after Thing said he saw you on the way there she almost went to look for you, but chose not to because she thought it would make her seem desperate.
The next few days I had been avoiding Wednesday like she was the plague, not wanting her to see how much the news about the ball affected me, always avoiding her glaring eyes from across the classroom and being the first to leave when the bell rang.
The only thing I needed now was to find another date to bring to the dance, well it wouldn't really be that difficult considering there was this girl I always caught blushing and making googly eyes at me.
After having to find out what her name was from Enid I tapped the gorgon girl named Aubrey on the shoulder while she was having lunch with her friends, she turned over to look for who it was and immediately a big smile appeared on her face, it looked like she had been waiting for me to talk to her for ages. "Would you consider going to The Rave'N with me Aubrey?" I said with a fake smile on my face "yes! Yes of course" she answered getting up from her seat and giving me a sloppy kiss on the cheek inwardly making me cringe. "okay well see you then!" I called over my shoulder walking away.
Shit I did not think that through.
Looking from the other side of the quad Wednesday was furiously glaring over at you talking to that girl Amanda or whatever her name was, she continued to glare even after you left, stabbing her food repeatedly with her fork really wishing it was your date, even tho she knew she really didn't have the right to be mad because you broke up and she was the one who asked Xavier first.
It was the night of the ball and I was actually a teeny bit excited, it was going to be fun to just dance and hang out with friends without having to worry about school work. I finished putting on my dress before walking over to look at myself in the mirror, smiling at the reflection. I had already texted Aubrey that I would meet her at her dorm so I walked over and knocked on the door, and it swung open the second I did, Aubrey standimg there with a smile in a gorgeous blue dress, but she was still nowhere near as pretty as for a certain short murderess girl. "Sha'll we? " I said putting my hand out for Aubrey to hold "yesss" she squealed grabbing onto my hand. We walked down to the hall, Aubrey talking for the most time while I only responded a few times before reaching our destination. It looked beautiful, most of the people wearing white to match the theme.
Wednesday had just entered the hall in a stunning black dress with Tyler after Thing had unexpectedly invited him after her and Xaviers fight. Her gaze flickering around trying to find you, finally spotting you dancing with your date. Her blood boiled, her want to rip Aubrey's head off was stronger now than ever.
Once I saw Wednesday joining Tyler to dance all I wished for was to go back to my dorm and cry, but that would make me seem weak, so instead I decided to continue dancing with Aubrey, flirting with her quite loudly hoping to get some kind of reaction from Wednesday.
After a while I actually started to enjoy Aubrey's company not thinking she wasn't that bad after all, I twirled her around just as I felt a few drops of liquid run down my forehead, I looked up curiously only to be met with a shower of supposedly blood. Everyone started to panic, bumping into and pushing each other to get out of there, people slipping on the floor and people screaming their heads off. I looked around rolling my eyes as I saw that Aubrey had run off with everyone else.
Wednesday saw this as a perfect opportunity and rushed forward pulling your hand and dragging you all the way to her dorm ignoring all the questions and protests you were throwing her way. She opened the door to her room just to slam you onto the other side of it again feverishly pulling your neck down to kiss you with such desperation you had never experienced before, her teeth biting onto your bottom lip making you moan accidentally. Your hands pulling her hips closer to as she continued traveling her lips down your neck ignoring the paint you were covered in. "You look so devine covered in this red paint cara mia, if only you knew how much I longed for you and missed you this last week, I apologize for getting so caught up in writing and forgetting about your beautiful soul... and if I ever see you with that other useless girl again I won't hesitate to cut her heart out" You only smiled at her rant before taking her hand, pulling her over to her bed where you both undressed and layed down getting comfortable, falling asleep in each other's arms happy that you were finally together again.

Pugsley disappointedly shaking his head and going "This is not how father raised us." every time Wednesday does anything that slightly upsets Enid.
And at first no one understands until parent's day comes back around and Wednesday is doing everything Enid asks of her as always but Gomez is also there doing everything Morticia asks of him as always.
And then it makes sense.
Wednesday is whipped.

OK so big fuss happening on twitter ( btw my account is @WyleradarFay) is he really biting his finger? Because it's pure +18 slut content here, and Hunter deserves any explicit fan fiction on ao3 for this.

OH MY GOD. I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT SEE IT BEFORE. GUYS. OKAY. SO!!!
THE VERY FINAL SCENE OF WEDNESDAY RIGHT,? WELL WHAT IF ITS ENID TEXTING HER “I’m watching you👀” SHE SPOKE TO PUGSLEY ON PARENTS WEEKEND AND ASKED HIM HOW TO GET WEDNESDAY TO BE HER GF AND HE SAID “SEND HER SOMETHING MYSTERIOUS. LIKE A SECRET ADMIRER THING!” And she convinced Xavi-ew to get the phone pretending that he should try harder to get with Wednesday and he is so dumb all the while the only person texting with Wednesday is Enid, courting Wednesday “the Addams” way!
Anyways that’s my thoughts guys. Thanks for coming to my WenClair brainrot Ted talk
