@tony-dreams and I have been planning this trip for months. We've been talking g about it almost since the day we met so obviously, going to Barcelona and chase down all the good spots we see in the show would be our first big trip together!

And obviously, on our first day out, we went on the less touristy spot ever to take a ton of picture in a place nobody was taking pictures - but everyone looked at us weirdly for doing so.

Yes. We are weird. Deal with it. We regret nothing.

So we brought our numerous Screenshots and our nendroids and found the first scene of episode 10: the Convention center, official event hotel and beach!

Obviously, in 8 years, things have changed, and trees have grown...

It is the place! So excited...

at this point I'm not going to believe it's actually over until we get the Diasomnia dorm reruns! those will be the portent I cling to in these times of uncertain anime character drama. 😰

honestly I'd been pretty convinced that 13 would be the end -- or that there might be, like, an epilogue chapter or something, but this would at least be the end of the main plot of 7. but now it looks like the Armor of Dawn Silver card is actually going to be for the second half next week, so...now I'm right back in "WHAT IS HAPPENING" camp! like, I can see a couple of possibilities of how that might still work out, but...well. I guess we'll find out tonight. :')

capo/captain/miss claymore is a figure from captain zero’s past that he desperately tries to forget. as mentioned in the picture, she is quite the imposing figure, and with her line of work, it’s a given that she’s as ruthless and cunning as one may expect. claymore and her men handle jobs that involve racketeering and smuggling, from weapons to booze, and back when she was younger (and still had a leash around captain zero’s neck which made her a source of extreme paranoia for him) she’s extremely adamant on how things should be done in her turf. after captain zero ditched his relations with her and left her to handle the smuggling business he haphazardly left behind, she has her sights on him and promised to give him the welcome back party he deserves, even going so far as wanting to invite his employees as well! how courteous of her.

zayin (in TUGS canon) is the newest addition to the z-stacks. although he’s a generally pleasant fellow and wants to be on at least good terms with everyone, zayin is protective of his self image – he makes sure he’s perceived as someone respectable and has a tendency of viewing others as beneath them (not that he’ll ever admit it, but the way he sometimes talk… shows). being a switcher, zayin takes up various jobs around bigg city port, and boy is he competent at them! they're one of the few z-stacks that zorran somewhat likes because they always get the job done and right and quick. nonetheless, he's often exasperated at how zayin quickly skedaddles to chat up the star tugs and continue his amicable relationship with them, especially top hat (whom he has a strange fixation on). zip and zug likes zayin for his friendliness, though, and he views them as charming yet pitiable beings.

Hey, CampFam, so...a thought just occurred:

Kenji isn't calling his mom this week.

There's gonna be a news story about how Daniel Kon died in a dinosaur attack, and his son was unavailable for comment. Also that Yaz's campus suffered a dinosaur breach and three people were killed or wounded, also there was a van that got rammed off a bridge. A van whose plates will be matched to a Ben Pincus, whose friend was living on the campus, and who was spotted with Sammy Gutierrez a day or so prior at a roadside show disruption. No bodies will have been recovered, but neither will at least one of the bodies from the campus.

Obviously DPW will provide forensics on the Becklespinaxes' waste (assuming the PH level is low enough), and probably find that only two humans were devoured (maybe even positively identify whom), but the fact remains that for at least a week....

All of the Nublar Six's families are going to think their children are dead. Again.

I'm talking on screen kiss or even just verbal confirmation. all things considered it's a bit strange you don't really see them that much when you think about how gay everyone here is. how many times did bilbo almost slip up and call the hobbits by names that were not their own but all bilbo could see was that same mischievous twinkle he saw in those two young dwarves eyes?

how many years would it be before the hobbits realized why gandalf was so hard on them? why bilbo had stopped looking at them with such devastation on his face but could not hide the anguish in his eyes?

bilbo never told any of the young hobbits his full journey, always making everything seem more heroic and thrilling than the profound loss everyone suffered in The Company. It probably wasn’t until Frodo left with his uncle that merry and pippin realized why the old hobbit could never truly meet their eyes when sam let them read the book containing both of their journeys ☹️
