Hi everbody! My sister @jeanne-dart and I challenged each other again and each of us painted a portrait of Celebrimbor from 'The Rings of Power'. Now it's up to you to decide which of us did it better :))

I did not expect to love these so much; I feel like both really fits their vibes. A very happy accident lol

Remus is like rough and not very tidy; that under painting shone through lmao

And Sirius is very delicate but bold

Anyways I’ll stop gushing over my own art but I’m rarely actually happy with stuff so cut me some slack here

I was absolutely privileged to be entrusted with this beautiful commission of these two siblings, and so deeply captivated by their sweet affection and in this year last dreamy summer day.

It's funny the things that touch you about a painting. For me, one of the beautiful features of this painting is the reflection with the subtle atmospheric pinks and blues reflected from the girls dresses that seem to not only ground them in the scene but hint at their spirits intermingling playfully. I love the light that moves through them and the colours of their dresses subtly reflect and echo against each other.

Just a quick thank you to the jury members of the @fedofcdnartists for awarding me with the great honour of Active Membership last April.

I'm very excited and hope to work and contribute to the fantastic work you do in Canada and hope to be able to contribute work worthy of the @federationgallery later this year or in the long run.
