Another poll because I am indecisive.
Short summary: for plot reasons, Warriors has a kid, only problem, how does he get this kid? Originally he married Zelda after the adventure, but now I'm second guessing because I like their relationship as best friends a lot too. Does he get with someone else? Or kidnap-adopts a child? Please I need help.
Please, I need help

Always Been You (Dick Grayson x Reader) - Chapter 1
Always Been You (Dick Grayson x Reader)Reader Insert: she/her pronouns Word Count: 3631 Warnings: death, violence, fighting, bloody wounds, angst, infuriatingly oblivious love interest, slowburn Spoilers: Young Justice Seasons 1-3 plot partially, but it ended in 2022 so catch up.
Y/N Prince - miracle daughter of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor - and Dick Grayson - first adoptive son of the Batman himself - have been best friends since day one. They went to school together, trained together, kept each other's alter ego secret from everyone else, and they founded the Young Justice alongside their friends together.
But as time progressed, Y/N and Dick grew up and Y/N found herself wanting more than friendship with Dick. But he never seemed to indicate that he reciprocated her feelings. And when Wally died and Dick abandoned the team, Y/N realised he never would. So she heads to the one place she knows will help her become a stronger warrior so that one day she can take her mother's place: Themyscira.
Two years after his leave, Dick reaches out to his old friends to help him with a mission. But when he finds out Y/N left too, he chases after her in the hopes to bring her back.
However, when the two finally reunite, it isn't as warm as he hopes. Not to mention Themyscira becomes under siege as they go to war against Echidna, the Mother of Monsters in Greek Mythology, and her army of monstrous children.
Will Dick and Y/N be able to put their past behind them and save the Amazonians' homeland? Or will they fall, unable to tell one another their true feelings?
~~~
(21 years old)
'All right, team,' Y/N Prince addressed her small group of young heroes. 'Good work today. Now go hit the showers and enjoy a nice quiet night in. You've earned it.'
'So crash!' Bart cried with an energetic jump. If anyone were to guess how the team's week had been solely based on Bart's energy, they would've said it had been cruisy. Not that Y/N had led a covert task force over the past week into Bialya to take down meta-human trafficking outposts.
Y/N watched with pride as Bart and Jaime bantered on their way out, followed by Stephanie and Cassie chatting excitedly about something, all the while Tim and Cassie held hands quietly. It had surprised the team a little how, out of the blue, the two of them were dating. But if Wally's death had taught them all anything, it was that time was too precious to waste in their line of work. They'd been together ever since.
Two years, Y/N mentally noted, and suddenly the adrenaline she'd been running on for the past week died as the last of the team exited the entrance chamber of the Watchtower. Exhaustion weighed down on her spent body, but an extra weight now sat in heart. Has it really been that long already?
So much had changed in that time. Like how the Young Justice began working out of the Watchtower alongside the Justice League, having both the Hall of Justice and Mount Justice destroyed by the Reach and the Light respectively. M'gann and Connor were back together, having finally gotten over their differences and accepted their mistakes. Also, Kaldur had been offered a position in the Justice League following the retirement of his king, and so Kaldur took his place as the new Aquaman in the Justice League. M'gann was promoted to new team leader, with Connor and Y/N assisting her as senior members of the team.
Some things had remained the same, however. Like the team's energy and slight dysfunction that always made Y/N feel at home. They weren't perfect, but what family ever is?
Dick was still gone. So was Artemis. She'd, understandably, retired as Green Arrow's protégé immediately after Wally's death, assuming her undercover identity Tigress instead and going off on her own. Neither had stayed in touch with anyone on the team.
You're my best friend. Always have been, always will be...
'Yeah right,' Y/N mumbled bitterly as she made her way to the conference room. No doubt that'd be where M'gann and Connor were waiting for her to debrief the mission.
Upon entering the room with the long table, she was immediately embraced by M'gann. 'Welcome back,' she said, squeezing Y/N tighter. 'We're so glad you're okay.'
Y/N smiled softly as she embraced M'gann in return. 'You ever doubted me?'
'No,' Connor answered, 'but you can never be too cautious right?'
Y/N let go of M'gann to hug Connor as well. Since getting back together, Connor wasn't as emotionally suppressed as he'd initially been. It was nice seeing him this way, more happy and free. The same effect had happened to M'gann, who (only around the team and the Justice League) revealed her white martian self proudly instead of pretending to be something she wasn't.
'You're right,' Y/N said as she released him, then the three of them took a seat to discuss the mission.
The debrief didn't take long, there wasn't much to report on as all out-posts had been hit successfully, putting Queen Bee's meta-human trafficking at least a little behind.
'It's not much, but it's the best we could do with the little information we got,' Y/N admitted. 'I dislike Queen Bee and her minions as much as the next person, but I've got to give it to her, she knows how to keep things under wraps.'
M'gann reached across from where she sat and closed her hand over Y/N's. 'Y/N, the mission was a success,' M'gann insisted. 'And what's most important is that you brought everyone home. Alive.'
Y/N heard the underlying fear in her words, the memory she was thinking of as she spoke them. Y/N twisted her hand over to clasp M'gann's in return. 'I know,' she said softly. 'But I just... we haven't so much as put a dent into the underbelly of meta-human trafficking in the two years it's been running. Somedays... Somedays I just feel so useless.'
'I know, Y/N,' Connor reassured. 'But we've just got to trust that our hard work will pay off eventually. I know it doesn't seem like much now, but every mission counts. Don't be so hard on yourself.'
Y/N withdrew her hand at the comment, hastily standing up. 'Don't be hard on myself? My mother is Wonder Woman, is the Champion of Themyscira, a World War II hero, and had already saved the world once by my age now. My father was a fighter pilot in the Iran-Iraq war and died fighting for his country,' she said angrily. 'And what am I doing? Hiding under the protection of darkness, taking out small outposts that will just be rebuilt elsewhere just as quickly? How can I not be hard on myself?'
At M'gann's taken aback expression, Y/N felt slightly guilty for raising her voice. But they just didn't understand. All her life, she'd been training and fighting for her supposed "destiny". Surely this wasn't it.
'I'm sorry,' Y/N said, forcing herself to calm down. 'I just...'
'You don't have to a apologise,' M'gann interrupted, standing and walking over to Y/N to clasp their hands together. 'After all we've done together, I understand that what we do now doesn't seem like enough. But I can tell you were made for more.'
Y/N offered her a grateful smile and M'gann let their hands drop. 'I should go. Mother and I have patrol in Washington DC tonight.'
'Already?' M'gann asked, face dropping with disappointment. 'But you just got back. Surely she knows that.'
'Unfortunately, even in the country's capital, crime never sleeps. I'm just grateful it's nothing like Gotham,' Y/N said.
'I agree,' Connor said. 'Visited there once with-' He paused for a moment, eyes growing wary as he looked between Y/N and M'gann. But Y/N already knew what he was going to say and gave him a slight nod to continue anyway. 'With Dick. We did patrol once there together. To put it simply, they're all nutcases there.'
Y/N managed an amused half-smile. 'You're not wrong there,' she said, then made her way to the door. Before she reached the doorknob, M'gann called out.
'Maybe when you're free next, you can join us for dinner at home,' she offered, her eyes hopeful as she waited Y/N's answer.
'Yeah,' she eventually answered though it wasn't as enthusiastic as she should've been. 'Yeah, that'd be nice. I'll talk to you guys soon. Don't stay up here too late.'
It had to be close to 7pm in Washington DC at least, so there weren't many people still left in the Watchtower. Just those from the League and her team that were rostered for overnight supervision. Y/N made sure to greet each person she walked by on the way to the Zeta-tubes. But just as she was about to dial in her code to leave, a resounding voice made her pause.
'Wonderess,' Kaldur called. 'Not even a hello before you head off for another mission?'
Y/N smirked as she turned back around to face the new hero of Atlantis. 'I'm sorry, Aquaman,' she said in an exaggerated tone. 'Not all of us can sit around having team parties with our Justice League buddies.'
To anyone else, it would've been taken as an insult. But Kaldur saw her humour and smiled. 'Oh is that what this is about? You know the League do more than just chit chat.'
Y/N shook her head. 'I don't know. The mess you guys left behind in the conference room before I left tells another story.'
As Kaldur approached Y/N, the sarcastic banter dropped as they both embraced each other. Kaldur had grown into a fit, muscular man, and now stood a good head taller than Y/N. His uniform was more or less the same as it had always been, except now both his arms were covered from shoulder-to-finger in gold armour. He certainly was no longer just a young lad, but the man his predecessor saw he could become.
'It is good to see you, Y/N,' Kaldur said softly as he pulled away.
'And you, old friend,' Y/N replied, a genuine smile splitting her lips.
'I heard you went into Bialyan territory,' Kaldur continued. 'I am glad to see you and the rest of the team are unharmed.'
'Well, the team are no longer just children' Y/N said, 'but it was a simple enough mission too. Nothing too dangerous.'
Kaldur's brows furrowed together as he looked over Y/N. 'I sense you are not happy with something. Wasn't the mission successful as I have heard?'
Y/N let out a soft sigh. 'It's not that I'm not happy with the mission's success. Of course I'm happy we all got home okay. I just...' She didn't really feel like explaining herself again, but Kaldur nodded in understanding.
'You feel stuck,' he finished, to which Y/N nodded in confirmation. Kaldur turned so he could look to the giant windows of the Watchtower's entrance chamber. They framed Earth in a way that made it seem both ginormous and insignificant at the same time. 'The League is in a similar position, I am afraid to admit. Some days there is progress. Other days, it feels like I wait so much I am afraid I will freeze in one spot.'
'How do you combat that?' Y/N asked.
Kaldur turned back to Y/N, his face softened with a small smile. 'I train.'
'That's it?' Y/N asked, not quite believing her friend.
He shrugged his shoulders. 'Amongst other things, yes. I train, I go home, I see my family, I laugh with my friends. I do all these things to remind myself why I am here. Why I do what I do. It sounds to me like you need to remind yourself why you are here.'
'Because of the team,' she said without hesitation. He hadn't asked a question, but she felt she needed to justify herself. 'Because I can't just desert them, not when they're working so hard.'
'And yet you feel you are not doing enough,' Kaldur countered, his teal eyes gazing hard at her. 'Why?'
Y/N opened her mouth to answer but no answer came.
'Y/N,' Kaldur continued. 'Why do you feel the need to stay when you don't want to be there?'
'I do want to stay-'
'Don't lie to me, Y/N,' Kaldur interrupted.
Y/N swallowed thickly as she looked from Kaldur, to the conference room door where M'gann and Connor still were, and back to Kaldur. Seeing no escape from his fierce questioning, she caved.
'It's not that I don't want to stay,' she admitted quietly. 'I love the kids, I love the team. I'm just... so tired, Kaldur. Of doing the same thing week in and week out and getting nowhere. But if I leave, I don't want the team to think I'm abandoning them. Not like-'
Y/N bit her lip at the thought of him. No, she wouldn't leave. She just wouldn't.
Kaldur pressed his lips into a firm line. 'Dick needed to reforge his own path. He was grieving in his own way.'
'Well I was grieving, too,' Y/N countered, a sudden surge of anger flaring up inside her. How dare Kaldur defend Dick. 'And I had to get on with my life because the team needed me. We needed him, Kaldur. I needed him, and he just left.'
Y/N bowed her head to collect her thoughts and calm down. That's two friends she had yelled at for no reason. Before she could apologise though, Kaldur placed a hand on her shoulder, and she raised her head to find him looking directly into her eyes.
'I cannot say I am not also disappointed in our friend,' Kaldur admitted sadly. 'I did not expect him to become so closed off for so long. But you've helped rebuild this team from the grief and pain it experienced when Wally died. I think you've earned the right to decide where you go from here, Y/N, without feeling guilty or selfish if your wish is not to stay with the team. In my opinion, you were made for more than this.'
'That's funny,' Y/N said in a flat voice. 'You're the second person today to tell me that.'
'Maybe because it is true,' Kaldur said sincerely. 'You know you still have a place in the Justice League whenever you'd like to join us. I would be honoured and happy to fight alongside a warrior such as yourself again. It would be like old times.'
Y/N offered a grateful smile as she patted Kaldur's hand that still rested on her shoulder. 'Thanks Kaldur, but I'm not ready for that just yet. Besides, you don't need two Amazonians running the show. And let's be real, we would so be in charge of you boys.'
The two shared quiet laughter as Kaldur's hand retuned to his side. 'Very well, then. So what will your decision be, Wonderess?'
Y/N looked to the Earth and space beyond it once more. Her heart and head were tearing her in two. She truly loved being a part of the team, but something inside her agreed with M'gann and Kaldur. Surely she was meant for more. But what exactly that was, she had to go find out.
'I think you're right, Kaldur,' she finally said, turning back to face her friend. 'I think I need to remind myself why I am here in the first place. And that comes from knowing who I am to begin with.'
Kaldur's face pinched in slight confusion. 'I'm sorry, but I do not follow.'
Y/N didn't answer straight away. Instead, she turned to dial in her code to exit the Watchtower. 'B-00: Wonderess,' the computer announced as the Zeta-tube activated.
She then finally turned back to Kaldur. 'I need to know where I've been to then know where I will go,' she said. 'I need to go back to where it all started.'
'And where's that?' Kaldur asked.
'With my mother,' she answered, then spared him one last sweet smile. 'Tell M'gann and Connor and the team I'm sorry.'
Kaldur looked as if he wanted to say something, ask more questions. But Kaldur was always more insightful than the rest of their group. He didn't always need an explanation. He just somehow knew, and so Y/N was grateful when he accepted her words with a simple nod of his head.
'Be safe, dear friend,' he said in farewell. 'May destiny be kind to you, wherever it leads you.'
Y/N nodded her appreciation and entered the Zeta-tube. It was always a weird sensation travelling by Zeta-tube, like a million light pricks into every part of the body. Thankfully the trip was quick to the Zeta tube depot in Washington DC, with Y/N walking out of an abandoned janitor's closest in the post office down the road from her apartment.
She smiled and waved down to civilians as she flew over the busy streets, but she flew as fast as she could to the meeting point.
Her mother casually sat atop the Washington Monument as Y/N approached, floating just in front of her. 'I was starting to worry you had gotten caught in Bialya,' Diana joked as she stood to greet her daughter. 'Welcome home, my daughter.'
'Good to see you, Mother,' Y/N said, and the two briefly embraced.
'Now that you're here,' Diana said, prepping to take off for the usual patrol, 'why don't we get going.'
'Actually, Mother, there is something I wanted to talk to you about first,' Y/N interrupted.
Diana raised an eyebrow. 'Really? And what would that be?'
Y/N took a deep breath in before she spoke the words. But when she did, she had never been more sure. 'I want you to take me back to your home. To Themyscira.'
~~~
Since she was a little girl, Y/N had heard hundreds of stories from her mother about the homeland of the Amazons. How beautiful it was with its architecture, its nature, and the women who ruled the island. She'd always dreamed of someday going there, but her mother said it was impossible to find it.
Except she failed to mention that despite leaving the island and forgetting where it was located, Diana had been gifted a compass that would always lead her back home, but only if she used it. It would not work without Amazonian hands.
So after all the storytelling and all the dreaming, nothing came close to actually witnessing Themyscira in the flesh.
Y/N stood speechless on the beach, looking up at the steps that led up to the first level of the city that seemed to climb higher and higher towards the sky. It was something out of the Ancient Greek text books Diana used to make Y/N read as a child, but even more fantastical and wondrous.
It wasn't just the visuals, though. Since the Invisible Jet broke through the barrier that hid Themyscira, Y/N had felt a pull of sorts towards the island. Now that she stood on its soil, she felt a warm energy wash over her, strengthen her, pull her into its embrace as if to say, Welcome home at last.
An entourage of women in red leather slitted skirts, plated tops, and armour while holding spears followed behind a woman dressed in white and purple robes. Ebony hair billowed out behind her golden leaf crown, the grey strands in between looking more silver as they caught the midday sun.
Y/N knew immediately who she was. Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. Her grandmother.
As Hippolyta approached Y/N and Diana, she opened her arms to take her daughter's face into her hands. 'Diana,' she said, bringing her lips to her daughter's forehead in a simple kiss. 'Welcome home.'
'Thank you, Mother,' Diana said, and Y/N could tell by her mother's smile that she was joyous to be home. 'I'm sorry it took me so long.'
'Do not worry about that, child,' Hippolyta reassured. 'You are here now.'
She then looked over to Y/N, and for some reason Y/N straightened up, flattened out her Wonderess uniform, made sure her hair was tucked behind her headband. Y/N was briefly taken back to the time she (consciously) remembered meeting her grandparents on her father's side. All dressed up so as to make a good impression.
Y/N held her breath as Hippolyta walked slowly over to her, grey eyes scanning every inch of Y/N's figure in silence. When she'd done a cursory glance, she then stepped closer and took Y/N's face into her hands. Y/N was unable to look away from Hippolyta as the older woman caressed and poked and prodded at her features.
At last, Hippolyta stopped and her hands dropped to Y/N's shoulders. A kind, joyous smile graced the older woman's features. 'You have my daughter's eyes,' she said quietly, as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing. 'So kind and forthright. What is your name child?'
'Y/N Prince,' Y/N managed to get out once she caught her breath. 'Daughter of Steve Trevor...' Her gaze flickered to her mother, and the two shared a smile. '...and Diana Prince, Princess of Themyscira.'
Y/N looked back to see Hippolyta tearing up as realisation finally hit her. 'I have a granddaughter,' she said as she finally embraced Y/N completely, to which Y/N reciprocated and the entourage of Amazonians cheered and smashed their shields with their spears in celebration.
Hippolyta let go of Y/N to clasp one of her hands as she went to grab her daughter's hand. She then turned the three of them to face the crowd. 'My daughter and your champion, and my granddaughter have come home!'
More cheers erupted.
'Let us prepare a feast in their honour,' Hippolyta continued, and when the crowd began to disperse, she turned to Diana and Y/N to speak more quietly. 'I am sure you have both come here for a reason, and not just to say hello.'
'You are correct, Mother,' Diana said. 'It seems as though I have neglected our origins as Amazonians for too long and can no longer teach Y/N our ways.'
'I wish to learn who I am,' Y/N added. 'I wish to know where I come from, so that I may know where I must go next.'
'And how long do you believe that will take?' Hippolyta asked.
'As long as it takes,' Y/N answered, more certain than ever before. 'I don't care what I must do, Your Majesty. I will follow your guidance, as my mother once did.'
Hippolyta considered Y/N for a moment, then spared Diana an impressed smirk. 'Well, you taught her one thing, Diana.'
'What's that mother?' Diana asked.
'Your steadfast stubbornness.' Hippolyta looked back to Y/N. 'Very well, granddaughter. You will train among the other warriors. I just hope you know it won't be as easy as you might think.'
'Trust me,' Y/N replied, 'I'm hoping it isn't.'
Hippolyta's smile widened and her eyes sparkled with excitement. 'That attitude is already a good start. Come, we will talk of this later. First, let us celebrate this homecoming.'
That night Y/N ate and drank and danced among women like her, some older, some younger, some taller, some stronger. And she had never felt more at home, more recognised and celebrated. She'd had her doubts if she had made the right decision, but now she had no doubt.
She was where she belonged.

The complete set
The timeline after the hero of time is split into three
And we know for sure that twilight is related to time
But because sheik x link x Malon is a ship that the fandom has quite a bit of content for and people theorized that legend is a part of the royal family
Let’s add him as well as related to time lol (and by extension as related to sky)
Why..
Because it would be very cursed and therefore hilarious (two kids from different timelines that the parents happily share together)
Because that makes any interaction with lullaby and Malon very cursed
Malon was understanding off timeline differences and after finding out about her children / descendants
She was happy to let legend be part of her family(he was absolutely not crying about it at all when she said he was welcome any day)
lullaby was insisting that legend can stay if he wants
Because his life sounds like a crime she has to fix
Because any member of the royal family would be accepted as a heir
Then proceeds to straight up make it official no matter how many laws of nature it breaks (she already broke enough of those so what’s a few more…)
Twilight was also happy to have lots of parental figures
And wind was considered as adoption bait for a while because they wanted the full set of the hero of time successors
And then also dragged along only not officially adopted because he had warriors who very much wanted to stay parent lol
The entire trio is just so casual about their secret kids that apparently came out of nowhere but are actually genuinely real
Like
Lullaby: “yeah this is My son and I was totally hiding him .. but no longer with it now he is officially part of the royal family.. no time travel or anything”
Malon: “and I also have a son he also was totally being hidden as well… they’re both our sons …. No other reason you haven’t seen them like ever””
Talon : “I really don’t know how that happened but I guess I have grandchildren now”
Time was just chilling as it went down and was relishing in the chaos that the public brought
He was born to be cryptic his entire existence was based around it
He is a fairy child at heart lol

Speedy ultra facts (Revised, with a few more facts):
4 out of the original 6 ultra brothers are actually related to each other.
Taro and Ace are brothers, Seven is their cousin.
Jack is married to one of Mother of Ultra's sisters making him Seven, Taro and Ace's uncle.
Seven has a sister and brother.
Seven was raised by his sister after his mother died.
Seven, Jack and Taro have children.
Seven is Zero's father.
Taro is Taiga's father
And Jack has an unnamed son.
(And I guess Ace counts too? since he's Ultraman Z's godfather.)
Taro and Ace are the sons of Father and Mother of Ultra.
Ace is adopted.
Mother and Father's real names are Ken and Marie.
Ultraman is a university professor.
Leo and Astra are twins and princes.
Zoffy is apparently the grandson of ultraman King.
Zoffy smokes (in the manga he does anyways)
An Ultra-baby appears in it's capsule for a few seconds at the end of Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends in the crowd of ultras who have been unfrozen.
The baby parents are a red(or silver) father and a blue mother.
Jack is one of the few original ultra brother's who stays in regular contact with his human host.
Ultraman Mebius's favorite food is curry.
Zero has a childhood friend named Voice who is a musician.
Ultra's mouths can open and close considering they also need to eat and drink.
Father of Ultra is terrified of angering his wife.
Taro and Ace used to have a pet dog.
Apparently there are cats and dogs in the Land of Light, though they look very different from their Earth counterparts. (Cos Aliens)[though in the comics the pup looks like a normal dog, but in the show it looks like white puffball wit' spider legs.]
Mother of Ultra has at least two sisters, one of whom married jack and the other is Seven's mother.
80 is adopted (at least in the manga adaption he is.)
80's adoptive father's name is Ultraman Red and he's Father's best friend.
Color timers were surgically grafted onto an ultra's chest in early childhood. (Taro has his as a young child in Ultraman Story and Ultraman boy has one...but then there's Geed whose timer really was grafted onto him after birth...Ah, I'm not going down this rabbit hole.)
{(Okay, I went and reviewed the wiki and some other sources on this the Color timer thing has been sort of retconned, They changed the age for Color timers to teen or adult Ultras who have the choice if they want to have a color timer or not (there are lot civvy ultras who don't have a color timer), and that it's mainly for Ultras whose jobs require them to travel off planet or for Ultras who are active warriors in the IGDF. but for the earlier installments (like the original 60s lore) it was at birth.)}
The reason Ultraseven doesn't have a color timer is cos he wasn't meant to be a fighter. His original mission was to scout out and draw a map of the milky way galaxy.
The creator of Pokemon was inspired by Ultraseven, in fact the reason it's called Pokemon is because the name Capsule monsters was already copyrighted by Tsuburaya.
Most Ultras are born through gestation capsules.(However according some of the novels *they might be outdated and thus not considered canon anymore* There are a few that still make babies and give birth the ol'fashion way.)
Fuma, Gai and Jugglus are from the same planet O-50.
The inhabitants on O-50 Aren't born ultras their original forms, As much as it sucks are human-like in appearance, but they do have super abilities to sort of make up for it. The only true way to become an Ultra on O-50 is by being chosen by the Light ring or The voice of light to become one.
The Light Ring/Voice of light is this big blue halo that floats over the planet O-50 that sometimes gives people super powers... ([there's not a lot info on O-50 other then the few snippets from the R/B novel, Orb saga and Fuma's voice drama, so work with me here])
O-50's trial to become an Ultra requires one or more people who must climb to the very top of the planets highest and deadliest mountain: Crusader's peak. Now, they can do this completely on their own or be summoned personally by the Light ring. (According to Fuma a lot of people fail the trial because they either kill each other or die on the climb up.) Anyway when they reach the peak the Ring will pass judgement if they're worthy or not, if they're found worthy then it grants them the power they need to turn into an ultra....If not then, it'll electro yeet them off the mountain like it did with Jugglus.
Though not inhabitants of O-50 themselves, the original R/B/G siblings crashed landed there and got the power to transform into their ultra and Kaiju forms, from the Light ring while to fighting off a monster they'd accidentally woke up while fighting off a gang that had chased them off their home planet.
According to Fuma, Grigio is considered an idol on O-50.
Now on to U-40 Where the inhabitants are called Ultra-people who are all born human in appearance, they're just ultras but human size.
the ancient inhabitants of U-40 through unknown means created the Ultra mind. (It's a core of light that works similarly to the plasma spark.) which helped them achieve a higher state of spiritual evolution that transformed them into ultras.
Unlike their M-78 counter parts the U-40 ultras can't naturally grow into giants; except for this small group of eight warriors who have achieved the ability to grow giant, though much like the creation of the Ultra mind this isn't fully explained on how or why this can happened. (though in Titas's backstory it hints at that it might be connected to resolve and finding balance within one's self.).
Despite that the few inhabitants of U-40 that can turn giant prefer to stay small or in their human forms rather then their giant forms.
Unlike the land of light U-40 still has it's sun and thus has day and night cycles, though one of it's two moons was destroyed by the Heller Army (the bad guys of The⭐Ultraman anime.).
[.....Though, I think I heard somewhere that the Land o light Ultras use technology that's similar to switchable film windows or something to mimic a night-cycle (Well, indoors they do anyways.) but I could be misremembering.]
Titas is a dark giant.
Titas was born in the dark nebula to two soldiers in the Heller Army but his parents didn't want him to follow in their footsteps, so they sent him as an infant to U-40 where he could grow up safely and choose his own path.
Ultraman X possibly dated an alien space cat monster Mu who looks like a cross between a Beholder from DnD and a cat, she also had memory erasing farts.
X doesn't remember dating Mu...
Ultraman thought humans were too primitive to have develop the ability to fly, He was proven wrong moments later by getting hit in the face by a jet being flown by his host Shin Hayata.
Ultras aren't completely made of energy, they actually have skeletons and organs that are sort similar to a human's but also having a few extras that are very alien.
Ultras stop aging at around 10000 years and 1 ultra year is equivalent to 300 human years.

Historically plausible depiction of semi-mythological Wardi founding heroes Erub and Janes, engaging in rites of sworn brotherhood.
Each were princes of separate pre-Wardi tribes (Erub was of the western Ephenni, Janes was of the central-southern Wardinae from which the name 'Wardi' derives). Two men of their general description historically existed, but their cited exploits were likely performed by many people over a larger time scale (conquering lands to the south and east from rival Wardi and Wogan tribes and founding the kingdoms of Wardin and Erubinnos).
They are unclothed (as is necessary for the rite) but wearing recognizable regalia, as their sworn brotherhood was a display of alliance between the ancient Ephenni and Wardinae and performed before their men. Erub wears both gold and bean-bead jewelry, Janes wears gull feathers and a pearl choker (aspects of these have been retained in contemporary east and south Wardi regional adornment). Erub's wearing of tattoos (stylized paired lions across the back with their tails looping around to the chest) is an obsolete practice, and the form of headband Janes wears is now considered women's dress.
This post is not actually about them.
SWORN BROTHERHOOD IN IMPERIAL WARDIN: A POST:
Sworn brotherhood is both a ceremonial rite and a legal institution in contemporary Imperial Wardin. Progenitor variants of this practice occur or are attested to in all historical human inhabitants of the region (Wardi, Wogan, Cholemdinae, and Hill Tribes); where and from whom these traditions originated is unclear. In most cases, its historical function was as a form of allyship between larger groups of people (powerful families, tribes, occasionally entire kingdoms) via two men as a proxy, but its contemporary Imperial Wardi function is much smaller in scale has a heavily diminished role in politics.
The core function of sworn brotherhood is to both spiritually and legally bind unrelated men as kin. Similar rites involving the physical exchange of blood are used in marriage ceremonies and formal adoptions, for much the same purpose of kin-making. A person's blood is regarded as housing their living spirit, and thus to share it binds spirits together that would not already be bound by biological kinship. The contemporary variant of this practice emerged primarily between warriors/soldiers as means of establishing security for their families should one member of the brotherhood die prematurely, and to encourage loyalty and strong partnerships for mutual defense in combat.
It is an oath of exceptional loyalty and friendship, establishing mutual devotion in allyship and accepting the same duties and responsibilities to a compatriot that are otherwise only expected of blood relatives. The physical exchange maintains this bind tightly and ensures its lasting endurance. This bond provides a sense of spiritual security and will persist after death- if one brother dies alone and unburned, the other may be able to find his soul and help guide it away to the afterlife.
This rite establishes kinship in a very practical legal sense. Each brother is sworn into the other’s family, with most of the obligations implied. Each brother is sworn to familial duties towards the other’s parents- providing for them in old age, defending their status and honor and providing retribution for damages, and serving roles in certain familial rites.
Each brother’s wife and children is considered legally under the care of the other- if one brother dies, the other is in charge of filling practical obligations of a husband/father in continuing to provide for them for life, or otherwise arranging a new marriage or (if he is unwed) marrying the widow himself. He remains in control of the wife's assets, inheritance, and children unless or until she is passed into the care of another man. This is considered legally enforceable, and overrides any objections of the wife's father (who will have already lost his legal authority over her in handing her out in marriage). The wife has no direct say in this matter (and does not in general, with women being legally under near-complete authority of their father or husband).
These familial duties are required on part of each brother, but not strictly required to be requited by their family members. A family patriarch can refuse kinship to an unwanted son-in-blood, or accept one the rest of his family does not, and can enforce this decision on his wife, daughters, and any underage sons, having ultimate authority over their formal relationships. When accepted, a son-in-blood will usually receive a formal place in his new extended family's inheritance (usually treated as a youngest son). A son-in-blood is very occasionally adopted as a formal heir, though typically only in cases where a father's biological sons die prematurely (especially given this can cause complicated situations in terms of which family name the son-in-blood is bound to).
The rite of sworn brotherhood is accomplished in stages and with the assistance of a priest (generally those devoted to Ganmache, which presides over most domestic kinship affairs). Both men are blessed and purified by the priest and garbed in simple robes, and will then recite a lengthy, formal oath before God to declare allyship and swear to all expected duties as kin. The second half is done in privacy. Both men will remove their robes, with the metaphysical vulnerability of nudity under a mutual gaze allowing for the transformative effects of the rite. Each slices the palm of their hand deeply enough for blood to run and drains it into a bowl of wine. The oaths are then repeated, with remaining blood being smudged onto prayer parchment and cast into fire as an offering. The wine is then consumed by both, physically imbibing each other's blood/spirit to seal the rites. Most variants also include additional matched scarification in a prominent location (usually the forehead)- the intentional violation of the body via permanent modification, displayed prominently on the body to the public gaze, acts as a constant enforcement of the bond.
This rite is only strictly required to be performed once, though in practice is generally repeated on a yearly basis (as most rites with permanent effects are- the world's movements are cyclical and impermanent, the only permanency is in repetition).
The practice is regarded as an ideal of platonic affection between men. The family as a social unit is of vital importance in this cultural sphere, and inducting an unrelated man as one's kin is an ultimate, idealized display of loyalty and friendship. This practice may be notably attractive to men in romantic partnerships with other men, as it allows for a lifelong commitment to an unrelated man, comparable in many ways to a marriage. Though (like most male relationships) sworn brotherhoods are de-facto expected to be non-sexual, as it is a relationship between equals, a circumstance wholly out of the accepted realm of male homosexual behavior (you should not want to 'shame' your sworn brother). The vast majority of these brotherhoods are platonic.
No comparable rite exists in an official capacity for women, akoshos, or eunuchs (largely due to its place surrounding men’s roles as family patriarchs), though some may undertake similar rites to accomplish the same spiritual kinship results (without the legal benefits).
#Needed to introduce the concept through its standard cultural practice since the main window I've given is two guys who are#REAL weird and not normal with it#Janeys is named after Janes (VERY common name- pronounced slightly differently 'JAY-NEES' vs JAY-NEZ') mostly for#having very light grey eyes.#Janes is recorded as being albino and a lot of attention is paid to his eyes (given light eyes are considered more potent at inflicting#and deflecting curses)- he's routinely described as hitting enemies with a powerful malicious stare#imperial wardin

Okay so I have seen the Warprize Au and I would like to say I have a decent understanding of it. But I have a different idea for it! It’s perfectly okay if you don’t like it, you can just delete this.
But what if King Cow!Hob and King Cat!Dream are already married and have a whole union with their Kingdom’s. And everything is actually really good! Except for the fact that they’re different species so they can’t have kids together like they wish. This bothers Hob, but he does not try and let it show.
Until they get War declared on them by another Kingdom. It’s pretty brutal, but of course with the constant supplies and powerful warriors from Hob’s Kingdom and many skilled spies from Dream’s they are able to defeat the other Kingdom.
So the King offers them one of his sons as a Warprize, to which they accept. Mainly to understand more about this royal family and see if they could get any secrets from the Prince.
Dream is the one who the Prince will meet first, and because of how violent the War and the information that had been given from spies. had been Dream is expecting some sort of large man who had been in many battles or perhaps a spoiled brat. So he has the throne room decorated in weapons, spikes and he himself has completely covered himself in his own armor.
Which was a complete mistake when *ten* year old Orpheus enters the room.
Dream: *Surrounded by heavily armed guards and has darkened the throne room to make it appear more intimidating.* 0_0
Orpheus: *Trembling and sobbing.*
While different people are hurrying about to hide all weapons and pulling open the curtains. Orpheus is standing in the middle of the room, unhealthily skinny, filthy, and properly terrified. So the plan of scaring the Prince worked?
Dream doesn’t know what to do, so he does what any normal King would do and calls his husband for help. And the moment Hob sees this child he has decided he is adopting. (“No Dream this is not negotiable.”)
From Orpheus–when he finally calms down–they learn that he does have older brothers, but his father had said they were far too important to give up. Then told Orpheus that if he had to send one of his sons to their death it would be the one that he could care less about. - RB (Ima just leave this here because emojis dont work-- Sorry...)
This is a really good elaboration on the idea of a warprize au, and I absolutely love it! I have a wonderful feeling that Hob and Dream will spend the rest of their lives "collecting" war prizes in the form of other neglected, abused or orphaned children.
Orpheus is also a cat hybrid, just a different breed of cat to Dream - so they have many things in common. After he realises that he's not going to be killed or tortured, Orpheus basically imprints on Dream and follows him around with a very serious expression on his little face. He wants to be just like Dream, to fight and hunt like him and be strong! Dream quickly becomes equally attached to Orpheus, nicknaming him "little shadow", taking him to counsel meetings, showing him the best nap spots and generally tutoring him. But Orpheus also quickly grows to love Hob just as much, despite being scared of his size at first. Hob is warm and smells really good, and he always has milk for Orpheus to enjoy. He's determined for Orpheus to have a proper childhood where he's loved and spoiled (Hob has always hoped to have children with Dream, even though he had no idea how it could be possible. You can bet he takes every opportunity to enjoy fatherhood.) Every night Hob falls asleep with two cats sprawled on top of him, soaking up all of his warmth, and he has really never loved his life more.
A few years later, King Hob and King Dream happen to meet Orpheus's birth father at some kind of diplomatic gathering, and they have a proper argument about who gets to bite the horrible, awful asshole first. The rival King never even bothered to ask for Orpheus back after the war, just abandoned him in another kingdom! But Orpheus calms his beloved adopted parents down. He's a strong, healthy cat prince with glossy brown fur and a talent for music, and he's not interested in raking up the past. In fact he's much more interested in one of Hob’s distant relatives, a bovine princess named Eurydice...
Hob and Dream are truly the proudest parents. And although wars are to be avoided, they will never regret the conflict that brought sweet Orpheus into their home <3

Mand’alor Kenobi (Duke Kryze)
Obi-Wan leaves the Jedi, marries Satine, gets widowed and ends up as Duke Kryze.
Two alternative endings:
1) Jango Fett resurfaces and returns to Mandalore; or
2) After the war, Cody and his brothers receive an offer for repatriation from the Duke.
Obi-Wan leaves the order for Satine—and for Mandalore, ravaged by a civil war that never truly stops.
During his mission to Mandalore, Obi-Wan not only keeps Satine alive but is invaluable in consolidating her power. However, the hostilities never truly cease, the political situation is a powder keg, and at the conclusion of the Jedis’ mission, Satine sees how it’s Obi-Wan who’s holding the tenuous peace together. She asks him to stay and he leaves the order—not only for Satine, but for Mandalore and her people whom he feels the conclusion of their mission leaves hanging.
In the following months, everybody is running ragged trying to keep Mandalore together. Having already proved his worth as a negotiator/mediator, Obi-Wan quickly rises to a lynchpin position in the new government. Despite his background as a Jedi, his actions during the clan wars have earned him the respect of the more traditional warrior clans and he’s seen as a more moderate option to Satine’s extremism. Tl;dr: instead of treating Obi-Wan as arm candy, Satine puts him to work and inadvertently puts a lot of political power in his hands. What can you say? Sizeable and/or politically influential fraction of Mandalore’s population/clans likes Obi-Wan better than Satine—or perhaps, finds Satine more palatable with a warrior partner.
To prevent her fragile and fractious government from splintering further (and to put an end to the talk about republic agents), Satine and Obi-Wan decide to make their relationship official and marry. Half of it is because they truly care for each other, but half of it is to consolidate the political power and marry the separate factions within their government together. They have irreconcilable differences of opinion when it comes to politics, but they both want what’s best for the people and that’s a unified leadership that’s not fighting with itself. So they have screaming matches in private, but pull together in public.
Stuff happens, Death Watch kills Satine (with or without the involvement of the Sith)—and New Mandalorians/Sundari/Mandalore unites behind the widowed Duke Kryze.
SO: That’s either a plot or a setup for the erstwhile Mand’alor Vhett to resurface, with or without an army of clones, a galactic war, the return of the Sith, and perhaps a political marriage that may finally unite Mandalore.
Perhaps:
- Obi-Wan grieves his wife, he truly does. But in the aftermath, he hardly has the time. And in retrospect, he has to wonder if half of the reason why achieving compromise always seemed like an uphill battle wasn’t because he spent half of his time fighting Satine and trying to moderate her extremism to something more palatable to the clans.
- In the aftermath, Obi-Wan may or may not finally succeed in putting down the Kyr’tsad and winning the Darksaber, which may or may not go a long way in convincing the remaining traditionalist and Kyr’tsad clans to get in line.
- Any Sith coming to take a piece of Mandalore or its Duke may find they’ve bitten off more than they can chew.
- Korkie Kryze may or may not be Satine and Obi-Wan’s son. Or maybe he is Satine’s baby nephew—Obi-Wan and Satine may still end up adopting him, depending on who else is left.
- Bo-Katan Kryze may or may not survive Kyr’tsad, but regardless, a Death Watch lieutenant is not going to be accepted by the people. She may get a seat in Obi-Wan’s council to placate Kyr’tsad loyalists, but she has no shot at getting the rule. Tbh, Obi-Wan would absolutely be the type to adopt his late wife’s feral terrorist little sister.
- Obi-Wan ends up adopting a full squad of feral murder children, in a true Mandalorian fashion.
- Jinn may or may not be alive; Anakin may or may not be his apprentice or have taken refuge on Naboo after his death; Obi-Wan may or may not be carrying a grudge towards the Sith for killing the man who raised him. And then killed his wife.
- The idea of marriage is probably actually first put forward by the clans who dislike Satine but find Obi-Wan acceptable. That would be a compromise solution: they’d accept Satine’s rule, but with the moderating influence of Obi-Wan as her husband.
- Actually, wasn’t “Ben” a nickname that Obi-Wan was originally given by Satine? He might then go by “Ben Kryze” after his marriage.
- Mand’alor is the sole ruler → before and during the Clan Wars, Obi-Wan is titled the duke. After he’s unified Mandalore under one sole government, he’s the Mand’alor.
- Timeline fuckery: instead of 15, Obi-Wan and Satine are ~20, early 20s. Young, but not teenagers. Satine may be a few years older.
- Jango may think he’s coming to Mandalore to oust the hu’tuun Duchess’s Jetii widow, only to find said widow to be a) the most mandokarla verd he has ever met, and b) more widely supported than he himself ever was. There’s no ousting the Duke now and if Jango were to kill him, he would only succeed in making him a martyr and uniting Mandalore further in avenging him. Jango… deals with these revelations. Well—he tries.
ALTERNATIVELY: After the war, Marshal Commander Cody and his brothers receive an unexpected offer of repatriation from Duke Kryze of Mandalore, who was tragically widowed during the war.
And perhaps:
- The offer may or may not be unexpected: if the Sith decided to go after Mandalore, there’s no saying what the Mandalorians might have discovered and whether their Mand’alor might have taken a proactive approach to the threat.
- The second dark sabre wielding Jedi Mand’alor might be something of stuff of legends—or nightmares—in the republic space/among the clones.
- Jango Fett might not have wanted the clones, but apparently this Duke Kryze does. If he is to be believed, Fett might have been the vode’s dar’buir, but according to Mandalorian law, there is no such thing as a dar’ad. Whether Jango Fett ever called them his sons or not, the mere fact of consciously partaking in their creation is enough to make them recognised as such in Mandalorian space.
- And so, here in Cody’s hands is an offer of citizenship for all of his vode; colourful pamphlets about various welfare and retraining programs; and apparently, a seat in the Duke’s council for the aliit’alor Vhett.
- Cody is torn between crying from relief (an end to the indeterminate arguments in the senate between citizenship and decommissioning?) and justified suspicion (a no-strings offer of home and sentient rights for all of his brothers? Too good to be true).
- Mandalore’s famous warriors have been decimated first in the clan wars and then in the galaxy wide conflict, which has left Mandalore in a more precarious position than may outwardly seem. The offer is not purely altruistic (Mandalore would be gaining an army of millions), even if Obi-Wan does also see it as justice. To Cody who’s been waiting for the other shoe to drop, this feels like relief. This, he can understand. What’s honestly more confusing is the Duke rushing to explain that acting in defence of Mandalore is something that’s expected from every citizen, not just the vode. Moreover, if someone can not or chooses not to fight, they are not forced to do so, simply expected to do their part in another way.
- And if the clones want to ply their trade as mercenaries? Well, it’s a time honoured profession on Mandalore—of course they may. As it happens, in the aftermath of a galactic war, there’s no end of work for hired guns. This may… upset the struggling republic. Any vode that decide to seek work in republic space keep their buckets tightly on as they may or may not be recognised as sentient, still—and other Mandalorians do so in support. Not all of them may *like* the clones, but treating other mandalorians as lost property? Not cool.
- Culturally, I would absolutely see Mandalorians as the sort of a culture that would not only think that their children are their future, but also that their people are their strength. The republic might see millions of vode as mouths to feed and bodies to house. But Mandalore? They see millions of trained warriors the republic doesn’t seem to want anymore and think “the greatest prize in the galaxy, up for grabs”.
- If Obi-Wan went on the offensive, he could declare that the vode are citizens of Mandalore by birth and the republic better stop treating Mandalorian warriors as expendable slaves or else. He can’t, of course. But it doesn’t stop him from wanting to.
- If Jango Fett dies as in canon, Obi-Wan’s family of adorable murder children might or might not include Boba. If the kids don’t kill each other, Obi-Wan will go down in history as Mand’alor the Unifier. This sort of adopting the offspring of your slain enemies is not ethically unproblematic btw, but on the other hand, I could see how the practice might fit in the Mandalorian culture.
About politics & war:
- Point of contention: Satine wants to exile the traditionalists to Concordia, there to fight each other to extinction in a pointless battle for dominance (canon, what the fuck?). Obi-Wan wants to unite Manda’yaim, not divide it further. This point alone, if he manages it, would win him points over Satine. So: instead of all traditionalists exiled, Obi-Wan manages to wrangle a shaky alliance of New Mandalorians and moderate traditionalists. Not necessarily the same bunch as Haat Mando’ade though there might be overlap.
- Satine, meanwhile, would be happy to import agricultural products from Concordia to the biodomes of Sundari. That’s a mess from an economic and food security standpoint. Again I ask: canon, what the fuck? You exile the unwanted parts of your population and then rely on them for food production? That’s not actually a realistic plot point, maybe scrap it and write something that provides actual political tension that doesn’t make caricatures of any sides/characters.
- Actually, the New Mandalorian policies in the preceding years are probably a large influence in the development of the extremism of Kyr’tsad. (Canon—wtf, I might be tempted to terrorism if my government unilaterally exiled large fractions of the population?)
- During the clone wars, Kyr’tsad still allies with Dooku and the Sith. The civil war, which had been on a slow simmer, boils over again. In the fighting, Satine is assassinated. Obi-Wan is not only the best but practically the only option to succeed her and keep the precarious alliance of New Mandalorians and moderate traditionalists together.
- It’s a long and a bloody fight against enemies both at home and in the shadows; fought with guns, with diplomacy, with fixing the deep divides in their society, and hunting the shadows fuelling the flames. Obi-Wan proves himself the same military genius and negotiator as he did in canon. He’s decisive, ruthless and compassionate.
- And eventually, he manages to defeat the leader of Kyr’tsad in single combat, wrangle the warring clans to the negotiation table, hunt the Sith, and unite Mandalore. And that’s how the Mandalorian civil wars and the Clone Wars tie together at the end there, and how Obi-Wan emerges from those wars: with united but weakened Mandalore, a dead wife, and a couple of orphaned foundlings. Victorious, but grieving. The erin on his armour long since painted over with black and gold (which he has earned many times over now, avenging his wife and his people). While the rest of the galaxy is reeling from the aftermath of the war, the republic shaken to its foundations, the separatists defeated but but still seceding, the weakened republic unable to hold onto CIS territories.
- This is the man Marshal Commander Cody meets. This Mand’alor, who seemed to have emerged from the funeral pyre of his wife in the image of the legends of old, reforging the Mandalorian empire anew. But still: just a man, victorious but grieving; with a core of beskar, but a heart so full of light it makes Cody’s teeth ache. Cody: Himself one expendable clone among millions, defying his fate and rising to lead armies to victory or ruin. And yet, a man fresh out of a war that has decimated his brothers and broken his faith in the galaxy.

Hey sorry if you already talked abt it so i probably just haven’t seen the post, but could you go more in depth with your AU? I just think it’s really interesting and would love to know more! The designs are AWESOME btw !!
Strange Beginning AU(LMK)
Context: set in the Song Dynasty in China, humanity has never seen demons because they were in hiding to blend into the crowds of humans. However that changes when a certain demon monkey meets the monkey king and his warrior.
MK grew up in a small demon village, living with his adopted father Pigsy and his friend Sandy who supported him during his life. However MK was the only demon monkey in that demon village, that’s when he realized he must have been from The Monkey Kingdom in flower fruit mountain which he wasn’t fully aware of till he discovered the stories from Sandy and Pigsy. MK being quite adventurous attempted to travel all the way to The Monkey Kingdom.
During his travel, he’s met small human villages but knew a couple things of being hidden as he hid his tail and ears from them. It worked successfully and he managed to leave the villages and continue his journey- only to find the wrong location..The Bull Demon Fortress.
MK snuck inside only to meet Mei and Red Son. Who had caused the three to become startled by one another, the two royals were close friends- specifically only friends from being restricted by the outside world. Which makes them astonished to see a demon monkey in person, the two immediately started asking questions and giving MK a tour besides turning him in to their parents. After awhile, they let MK secretly stay for the night and find out MK was searching for The Monkey Kingdom. So the three had agreed to help each other.
The trip wasn’t long as MKs old trips before he met the two royals, and it was a relief for the young simian. As they inch closer to The Monkey Kingdom, they were ambushed by a group of simians who were in the lookout, startling everyone and preparing to fight. However during the fight it was cut off as Macaque had cornered the three down. MK was astonished by seeing many demon monkeys, specifically to Macaque by seeing his ears while Mei and Red Son were too busy trying to escape them.
Macaque had brought them in and informed the king about the three intruders, instead of them being taken to be punished. The king was quite immature than Macaque, laughing and joking towards the children- he was actually excited to see them and introduced himself as Sun Wukong.
Sun Wukong and Macaque had discussed with the three young demons, MKs main purpose was to find where had came from and lead him to travel here. It left the two simians confused as they had never been informed of a missing simian child from their kingdom. Leaving everyone concerned and confused, MK wasn’t originated from this kingdom and it left everyone wanting more answers. During the time, Wukong had decided to give the three children a tour around the kingdom since they never had guests at all. Macaque kept guard of him and Wukong kept teasing about it, MK had noticed their dynamic was strange but he didn’t know what it was.
MK has stayed in the kingdom for quite some time, having permission for Pigsy and Sandy to visit at any time. It was later announced that MK would be trained by Macaque to fight much better, seeing that he was a poor fighter in general. But as the two train more and more, MK learns a lot of things about the royal guard. Revealing that macaque isn’t a regular demon monkey but instead a celestial like wukong. Along with a possession of a strange ability that manipulates shadows. The two had kept it secret till it was the right time to tell the others.
Besides the demons point of view. humans were inching closer into finding out about their kind and beginning a uprising of killing all of them. A couple of demon monkeys were found and tortured as well as being held in captivity. Causing the monkey kingdom to grow worry as they noticed a couple of their friends and families going missing.
During that time, macaque and MK went out of the kingdom to start their routine, but while they head to their spot they found a human village near the kingdom. But what had caught MKs eyes were cages of bloody corpses of familar simians, MK informed macaque immediately and without macaques permission, he had went out to try and help a few escape. It was successful but unfortunately the two were caught and had begun running back to the kingdom, sadly the humans were inching closer to them and Macaque had decided to hold them back to let MK and the other simians to escape easier. Only for the dark furred simian to be struck in the eye by an arrow as he was too distracted fighting with many humans.
MK made it back to the kingdom and informed Sun wukong, seeing the king become pale and shock had startled MK of seeing his cheerful expression disappear.
Sun Wukong went out to save his companion, Macaque, only to see his beloved friend injured and bleeding out on the floor. However he wasn’t dead due to his immortality but he felt regular pain regardless. It had angered the monkey king and left him into a frenzy.
(THATS ALL I HAVE FOR NOW BUT HERES SOME INFORMATION OF THE LOCATIONS)
The Monkey Kingdom
Set in flower fruit mountain, this kingdom is filled with many primates from Large to Small. The main temple/castle is hidden behind the curtains of a waterfall and their emperor is none other than The Monkey king AKA Sun Wukong.
The kingdom is quite far and hidden, but they are known to be a good asset of strength and agility. However, they’ve never interacted with other kingdoms in the last century.
Besides their emperor, they have a second command and also the royal guard who protects Him, The Six Eared macaque.
They celebrate a lot and have many festivals with foods and drinks, known for their tropical fruits.
Sun Wukong wasn’t the original founder of the mountain but instead was the third (and permanent from being immortal)
The Bull Demon Fortress
It’s the second strongest kingdom in China, known for their manipulation of power and flames
The kingdom associates with the dragon kingdom making them close allies (which is why Mei and red son are friends)
Despite their brute force, they have exotic foods as well but mostly meat and spices which they sell and gain more wealth.
The Demon Bull King hates the monkey kingdom because the last time he visit wasn’t a warm welcome (so the relationship of these two kingdoms isn’t good but they keep their distance towards each other)

I already put this on ao3 in a comment but you made me cry so you have to see it twice now. I know this entire story is Zuko-centric but I literally can't stop thinking about what this au means for Sokka.
Ok I just have to say I felt so heartbroken for Sokka here. All I could think about was how all of a sudden there's a boy in the place he's supposed to be. HE should be travelling with the men, HE should've been with them for the last three years, HE should be trusted enough with all this important stuff he should know if he is the next chief/acting chief.
He is being told this new kid has seen and done things the most skilled of warriors couldn't have done, like he is this almost untouchable standard Sokka can't reach. Then to be told he's taken Sokka's place in the tribe as Hakoda's and Batos' adopted child, teaching him how to be a man over the three years Sokka didn't even know his father, never a letter, never knowing when they would come home. Then being told by that same kid that he was only playing war. not to mention the piercings and jewellery he's adorned with.
Sokka has been the leader of the remnants of the Southern Water Tribe for three years, and due to the strict gender divides, had no one to teach him how to lead in the way a chief would. He has been the one hunting, defending, in charge of the future of their civilisation, the education of the children, which is really important in their culture. the memories of his father would be so twisted to the memories Hadoka has of Sokka. Sokka, in the months before he left, lost his mother, protecting his little sister. he then saw his father fall deep into depression, becoming very detached, and from what is described, angry and violent, not towards him, but that his still scary behaviour to witness. Then, his father left, and he was told he couldn't come, and that he was in charge of the village. Even though it was probably to boost his ego at the time more than anything, the impact on Sokka in that moment, combined into quite literally what his job becoming.
Just imagine when he finds out the secrets Zuko's hiding and how his father and Bato knew and didn't tell him. Sokka has struggled with feeling like he isn't important, as a non-bender and his relations with his sister, her being a prodigy + a bender, and his father, always feeling like he wasn't enough for his dad, not good enough, not smart enough, not needed, but the Zuko's good enough, Hakoda loves him.
Zuko, who has had an incredibly traumatic and difficult childhood, the last three years of his life is where he has found and made a spot for himself in a positive community that loves him and supports him, Sokka has become increasingly more and more isolated, and his sense of self has changed even more dramatically in the last few weeks.
Sorry for the long rant, but I could just feel Sokka's fears and insecurities screaming at me throughout the chapter. Love this work though, just cried for Sokka <3
HIII OH YOU SO GET IT!! OH YOU SOOOO GET IT!! The fic is for SURE Zuko-centric, but I have been intentionally layering on the potential for his arc to align with Sokka's in completely the opposing way. Zuko has everything Sokka wants, he has a space with the crew, the warriors. he spent the last three years with his father and Bato, bonding, developing his identity as a person alongside the tribe, welcomed in, he has gotten to be everything that Sokka has always wanted. Meanwhile, Sokka has everything that Zuko wants. Sokka was home, somewhere safe with people who cared for him and looked up to him, with his sister, away from his parents and in a position where he was in charge of his own life. Its such a twisted, complex situation where the two crave, desperately, what the other has without thinking about the context. Without thinking of what got the other to the point of having what they wanted, both in turn. IM SOOO happy to see someone talking about Sokka ohhhughhh im so fucking happy. I think a lot of people have focused on Sokka's initial attitude towards Zuko, without thinking about every single thing you've brought up in this beautifully constructed comment, of which I am really excited to eventually flesh out when I am back from hiatus. Sokka, more than anything, wants to be a warrior alongside his father. For Zuko, he doesn't think Sokka fully understands the gravity of what that would look like, especially after having experienced such a heavy loss as he had recently. (RIP king im sorry) but for Sokka, he see's a replacement. he doesnt know the nuances, not for lack of intelligence but he just literally hasnt been told and although he is owed explanation he isn't owed Zuko's story in its full, of what led Hakoda and Bato to the decision of keeping him on board. I firmly believe if Zuko had have been older, or had have been a child from any other nation, Hakoda and Bato would have not kept him. I actually go over this a lot in the early chapters where they're deciding wtf to do. It genuinely ended up being a problem of "well. No matter where we put him he's gonna get killed. How fucked up is that, safest place for this kid is LITERALLY on a warship of the enemy. great." I also think acknowledging the fact that Zuko HAS had a lot of support and comfort in the last three years whereas Sokka has not is a super important point to be made! Despite the current circumstances, and the ones that led Zuko to being in the position he is/was, Zuko did have support which Sokka lacked. TBH, if I hadve had more wiggle room and decided to fuck with canon more then I already had, I would have left a good amount of the warriors in the SWT, unlike in canon. Or had Hakoda go back to leave soldiers there when he realised they were going to be gone for longer then what I am assuming was initially planned. However I was more then aware that would SIGNIFICANTLY change the circumstances of Sokka's experiences and how it aligns with Zuko's, in canon and in the fic, so i chose against it. This is such a sporadic messy reply I am just so happy to get a comment picking up on all the stone I've been laying for a big discussion on the details of Sokka's own trauma and how its going to clash with Zuko's.
All this to say, Sokka will absolutely be getting his turn to hash out everything you've said here and I can promise you no stone will be left unturned when it comes to his trauma and life experiences!! I think a big thing I am most excited for is having the two hash it out and realise where their lives overlap, where their feelings and experiences align and managing to acknowledge that each others traumas dont cancel each other out. Zuko's experiences do not cancel out Sokka's, and Sokka's do not cancel out Zuko's.
#mushy rambles#no thing defines a man like love fic#I RLLY LOVE THIS COMMENT#THANK U FOR WRITING IT GENUINELY#I care so deeply for Sokka and I will not let his trauma be brushed under the rug!!!!!

Lin Kuei trio x single father headcanons. Bonus Liu Kang.
Tomáš:
He's the least judgemental person.
Being an orphan, he is unfortunately familiar with how families can be torn apart.
He's happy your children have you to rely and that you're present.
However, unless you're already involved in Kombat, he doesn't want to drag anyone into this life, much less children.
He is welcoming and will protect them.
He'll also train them if you so allow and they'll grow to be deadly fighters. He's not master of stealth for nothing.
He'll also teach morals and honor. He has a good heart and doesn't want them to be corrupted.
Honestly, he's the best. Even if you two weren't together he would care for your children.
Bi-Han:
He's judging. Hard.
He won't say anything upfront, but given his troubled relationship with his father, he'll be very judgemental of yours with your children.
It's not even that you have a past and children, his clan isn't entirely strange to outsiders getting into it, it's honestly his own daddy issues.
If you're cold and harsh with them it's an instant deal breaker for him. If you're warm and loving, it It might be too much for him.
This man seriously need to work on his issues.
He'll be distant. He doesn't do or say anything to be mean to them, nor does he have any ill feeling towards them, but he's distant.
It can legit be the reason you two break up.
I don't see him being good with children, at all. Adopted or his own. If he isn't going to train them, then he's at a loss.
If however everything works out well and your children display some magical talent and inclination for combat, he'll be open to train them, if you so allow. He might even be the one to offer it and will be very offended if you refuse.
Like, he loves you and there isn't anyone better than him in combat but you refuse? He'll be pissed.
Kuai Liang:
More children?! Sure.
He has Hanzo, as long you can accept that, he's game.
He probably has a lot of other children under his wing since forming a new clan, so he isn't that phased.
He wants to know about how you ended up as a single dad and what you want for your and your children future's.
He won't be judgemental of your past, but will be of how you treat your children.
He doesn't have as many daddy issues as Bi-Han, if any, so it's much easier to adapt.
He's a warm person, so he'll be welcoming to your children.
He lets them come to him in their own time.
You can leave your children with him and rest assured they'll be safe.
He'll be very happy if they want to learn how to fight and will teach them. They'll grow to be fierce warriors under his wing.
With Kuai building a new clan and the influx of people, days are longer and things can get loud and chaotic rather easy but he would have it no other way.
Bonus Liu Kang:
Single fathers unite.
As creator of the whole timeline, he is also a father in a way. He even sounds like one tbh.
You don't have to tell him anything. He knows it already.
Adores that you're loving with your children, he wouldn't want to be with someone who isn't.
At times he's more like a grandfather. He'll spoil your little ones every once in a while.
He would do more but he's busy.
Dad jokes. All of them. You two bond over them. Good thing embarrassment doesn't kill.
He's old, let him be silly.
'Go ask your dad' loop.
All silliness aside, he loves your little ones with all his heart and will teach them to be good people.

Storyspin Undyne
In my imagination of this universe, Undyne is an old warrior Queen. One that helped lead the fight between humans and monsters. Rescuing whoever she could until they lost. Once sealed underground Undyne ruled alongside Queen Alphys. The two of them did what they could to keep monsters happy. As time went on Undyne’s anger and hatred towards humans slowly mellowed out. She still hated humans for starting the war and sealing monsters away, but she isn’t angry enough to rekindle war.
Eventually, she and Alphys adopted two skeleton children, Sans and his younger brother Papyrus. Every night Undyne would tell the skeletons stories from the surface, and when she was a warrior. Everything was going fine until Sans started to get sick. Where they learned that the older skeleton child's soul was weak and prone to sickness. Undyne became worried about this and tried to be positive for the two kids. Sans worried about his brother but also continued to get sicker and sicker. Needing to walk around the castle with a magic IV drip connected to his soul.
Soon Sans lost his ability to walk with how sick he got. Undyne helped him get around. At night she would take the sick skeleton to the barrier. Telling him stories of the surface. The beauty there was, along with the stars. Singing him to sleep each night. On the night Sans passed away she was holding Sans close, telling him that he’ll be okay and will soon not be in pain, turning to dust in her arms.
The family then shrunk to three. Papyrus is confused about why Sans had to leave and Undyne doing what she could to keep Papyrus happy. One day while she and Papyrus were playing in the courtyard a human that had been wandering around, doing a neutral run, had walked into the courtyard. The human then killed Papyrus, while the human was killed by the guards.
From there Alphys declared war against humans while Undyne ran off to the ruins. Her emotions turned her mind into mush as she tried to figure out what to do. She didn’t completely hate Alphys for starting a war with the humans but at the same time, she wasn’t happy. But she didn’t trust herself to talk to Alphys about it. Worried that her emotions would get in the way and make her lash out when she doesn’t want to.
While living in the ruins she managed to mostly calm down but still doesn’t leave the ruins not able to face Alphys after all the time that's passed. She does visit the exit to the ruins and eventually starts to talk to the monster that would sometimes visit the door. The two of them talk to pass the time. She eventually has the other monster promise her that they would protect a human if one were to ever leave the ruins.
While creating Undyne’s design I didn’t want to go with her wearing a dress. I don’t see her as a dress person so I looked through a few different types of clothes. I wanted her to have some clothes that showed off her old battle ready personality, so I gave her a set of black leather combat boots. I did plan on giving her a denim jacket and saving her wearing a leather jacket till she got to the surface but since I took a break from working on the piece I eventually changed my mind and gave her the leather jacket instead. So on the surface she’ll either be wearing a denim jacket or her leather jacket. Along with comfy loose fitting boot cut pants. With a short shirt that has the deltarune symbol. I also played around a little with some fish designs. Like she already had some armor fish design but I was also thinking of maybe adding some betta fish, or some angler fish inspiration or something like that. And I liked the idea of some deep sea fish features to add on so after some point I did add some on. I also gave her a betta fish pet as I didn’t want to completely scrap the betta fish idea.
I tried my best to show off what her personality once was based on her clothes. From her once stubborn brash attitude, only for that to mellow out and calm down once monsters were sealed underground and Sans and Papyrus was adopted. Being alone in the ruins didn’t help with this either.
In the background you can actually see a possible design I might use for Alphys. There were also some features on Undyne that weren’t added till later on in the work like the angler light and vampire fish fangs.

A Truly Mythological Christmas
Cisfem!Reader x Marco the Phoenix
Also on Wattpad // Ao3
18+ - this story is going to get steamy in ways not allowed for your holiday Lifetime specials. Swearing, cheating, assassins, intrigue - you know, all that simple small town stuff.
Chapter 3: Boys Be
Unlike most of the residences in town, Dadan’s place was on the edge of town, just before the country roads took over completely and the landscape turned into farmland. This had been a boon for all the children she fostered, sheltered, and adopted. Close enough to town to be around the other children, and far enough away from it that all the mischief they got into happened in the backwoods, and not the shops.
By the time you came into Dadan’s life, there were just a couple other fosters left. She decided to adopt you and effectively retire as the town’s den mother. A wise choice, since you became good friends with most of Pops’ kids and so Dadan’s house and the town woods hardly knew peace during your childhood.
Because of the house’s location, it was always easy to know when company was arriving, so you weren’t surprised to see Dadan come out onto the porch as Makino pulled up. She was just as large and strong as ever, but the years were certainly beginning to show. She didn’t barrel down the steps and scoop you up, but that had less to do with her age and more to do with yours.
And probably the three small forms huddled behind her legs.
You grin and Dadan’s already smiling and rolling no her eyes. “Mountain Bandit Mama!” You shout, waving as Makino pops the trunk. Three sets of eyes go wide and look up at Dadan.
“I play tag with you one time,” she grumbles. “Get your butt up here and hug me.”
“Sure, sure.” You step up the porch steps and hug her. It’s warm and harsh, like getting hugged by a bear, but it feels like its crushing all the stress cracks in your heart until they were all gone. “I missed you mama bear.”
“Missed you too, little warrior.” Her voice rumbles into your chest and you can feel her struggle to keep from crying.
“I’m alright.”
“I know. I know.” Patting your back she leans back, holding onto your shoulders the way all small town moms seem to do. “You shouldn’t have to be, though. Should be getting to just be happy.”
“I’ll get there. And I am happy, with my job at least.”
Dadan grunts. “How’s that going?”
“Good, I hope.” You admit a little sheepishly.
“Alright, I have to get back to the pub.” Makino says, before Dadan can invite her in. She looks down to the boys. “You be nice to (Y/N), like we’ve been practicing, okay?”
You quirk an eyebrow at the idea of practicing, but don’t say anything. The three boys straighten up, stopping short of outright saluting her.
“Yes Miss Makino.” The young blonde one says as the other two nod again.
Stepping down, you give Makino a hug before she leaves. Your bags are on the porch, but you stay down on the path so you’re at more of an eye level with the young boys. Giving them an even smile, you wait until the youngest steps forward.
Wearing a straw hat he has a scar under his eye, but his dark eyes are taking you in with a clarity you rarely see in adults.
“Are you really a warrior?” He asks, reverence in his voice.
Smiling wide, you nod. “I’m retired, but I can still beat all the beasts in the backwoods.”
“All of them?” He gasps and you flex.
“All of them. Even that grumpy old bear with the missing ear.” You assert, watching the other two boys go wide-eyed.
“You fought the bear?!”all three ask, coming out from behind Dadan and swarming you as much as three small children could.
“I did! I took his ear. Mom got really mad at me for that.” You admit, hearing Dadan click her tongue.
“All by yourself?”
“Oh no, I had friends too, just like you three.” You clarify, turning in circles with them as they bounce around you.
“We’re brothers!” They declare, and you crouch down, looking at all three in turn.
“Will you be my brothers?” You ask, and watch them exchange glances. The silence isn’t uncomfortable, but you wait until they decide to answer.
It’s Luffy, and you’re starting to think the other two can’t help but support his decisions, who speaks up. Crossing his arms he plants his feet - goodness he’s only in sandals, that must’ve been an epic battle between him and Dadan - and looks as official as he can muster.
“Yes!” He declares, and the other two nod with him, both showing the gaps of lost baby teeth in their mouths.
“Just like that then?” Dadan says in disbelief. “Weeks, weeks I tell you, before these rascals decided to listen to me, and you’re the big sister in five minutes.”
“You didn’t take the mountain bear’s ear.” You retort, picking up Luffy as you stand up. “You three want to help me get my bags up to my room? You can tell me if the boars are still on the East hills, and do the rabbits still fight by Busshiri’s farm?” You lean down to grab one of the bags, but Sabo and Ace are already moving them.
You pat your mom’s shoulder as you walk by, listening to all three of them tell you things you already knew about the backwoods, and a few new things that were new. The boys were boys, polite in the way children are amongst themselves, and you were just glad they were taking turns while they talked as they dragged you and your things upstairs.
From the disconnected chatter between the boys, you learned they got into trouble a lot, and got out of it just as often. It really did remind you of how much you and your friends got up to as kids. Though the idea of traipsing through the back woods with Marco, Izou and Thatch seemed a bit of overkill at this point.
Ace was, you realized, Roger’s son, and Luffy was related to Garp - a marine admiral who was still searching for his missing son, Dragon. He must’ve found Luffy during that pursuit and brought him here knowing Dadan wouldn’t be able to turn the poor kid away. You knew less about Sabo, but it seemed his family gave him the scar on his face, and Ace saved him.
So here was where he lived.
You filed away all the bits and pieces of information, idly wondering if you’d be able to levy legal action against his family without risking him being forced to return to them. You weren’t a lawyer, but even if you didn’t end up staying with Candy Land, you had a lot of connections.
The boys help you get settled in, mostly by putting your bags in the closet and asking you questions about your room, and then dragging you down the small hallway to their room, and showing you everything. Luffy had a collection of “cool bugs” in an impressive collection of tubs and tanks. Ace had so many more pillows than you expected a young boy of eight to need or want, but when he fell asleep without much warning you started to understand.
Sabo had a small collection of action figures, and you even recognized a few of the older ones as toys you had played with. It was less that they were his specifically, it was obvious all three didn’t really have a sense of ownership between them, but what they liked the most gravitated to their own areas in the room. You could tell a lot about the boys’ personalities by their spaces.
Luffy was, as Makino had said, five, and his space was the most chaotic, but there were signs that Ace and Sabo did what they could to help him maintain some sense of… something. Ace’s organizational skills were a little more developed, but there was a kind of apathy there as well. The sheets and blankets were on the bed, but made wasn’t really the word for it. His clothes were put away, but not folded.
Sabo had all of this down, but something in the back of your mind found that more distressing than not. You couldn’t help but think someone had literally beat childish behaviors out of him.
But all three of them had a tendency to look at you with eyes that felt far too old for boys so young.
You passed most of the afternoon that way, coming downstairs to help Dadan with dinner when she called for you. The boys set to tasks right away; Luffy washed potatoes, Sabo peeled them while keeping Luffy on task, and Ace cut them up. You helped Ace with his work, and gave Dadan a hand as well, filling in what small gaps needed filling.
“How long are you in for then?” She asks once you all get into a groove.
“Until the 4th. About seven weeks at the end of it. Much longer and it would’ve had to been a sabbatical.” You explain, scooping up a potato Ace finished cubing, and dumping it into a pot of cold water. “And that wouldn’t have been a bad thing, necessarily, but it’s a lot more paperwork. Kata is already going above and beyond for me as it is.”
“Can they fire you?”
“I mean, technically, they could if they really wanted to.”
“If they’re gonna be mean, why not quit?” Sabo pipes up.
“I really like the work.” You admit plainly. “If I really want to do it, I shouldn’t give up.”
“But… will they be mean to you if you go back?” Ace questions and you shrug.
“Maybe, and even then it wouldn’t be everyone.” You answer. “There’s only a couple people who would be mean, and I can handle that.”
“You shouldn’t hafta.” Luffy pouts.
“Maybe not, but them being mean is their problem, not mine.” You explain, nudging Ace so he goes back to cutting up potatoes. “I can’t control other people, just myself.”
“Says the girl who pushed Thatch into the lake when he upset her.”
“Hey, I was in control. I did exactly what I meant to do.” Sticking your tongue out you scoop up another potato. “Don’t clean anymore Luffy, we have plenty once Sabo and Ace finish with what they have. Yeah, mama bear? You wanted enough for the pot, I’m assuming?”
“Yeah, that’ll be enough. Should even be able to make a midnight plate.” You tilt your head, but when Luffy cheers you assume it’s something to do with a late night snack.
“Alright, you boys can play upstairs, I’ll holler when it’s done.” Dadan says after the last of the potatoes are processed, and the boys take off, tromping up the steps as though they weight ten times their actual size.
“They’re good kids.” You hum, helping Dadan. “Not a dull moment though, I’m sure.”
“I’d know more peace as an actual mountain bandit.” She grunts, but the smile on her face is wide. “I’m not going to say you could stay here, but I am gonna say that if you need to, you’ll always have space here.”
“Aww, thanks mom.” She leans down so you can give her a kiss on the cheek before you both return to cooking. “I appreciate it. I’m sure I’ll know more from Kata in a couple days.”
“And yer heart?”
“It hurts.” You admit with a shrug. “Maybe not as much as I thought, or maybe not as much as I wanted? I don’t know. I felt something was off for long enough that it feels vindicating, instead of devastating.”
You both set everything to simmer, roast, or boil as needed, and sit down at the nearby dining table. Dadan pops the caps off a couple bottles of cold ale and hands you one. Taking a drink you shrug again.
“Maybe just being back home makes it easier.”
Dadan hums. “Old comforts are always good, even if it’s just for a few weeks.”
“Thank you.”
“For?”
“Not hounding me to move back.” You grin and Dadan laughs.
“Girl, if I thought I could influence you on what you wanted ta’ do I’d have to check myself into a hospital. The calm belt will know a breeze before you follow any will saver yer own, and for that,” she tilts her drink at you a little, giving you a pointed look. “I am infinitely glad.”
Her gaze shifts, looking up at the sounds of the boys playing in their room upstairs. The noise is muffled, and admittedly they sound less loud than they did running up the steps in the first place.
“This world ain’t so hard as to be untameable, but it ain’t so soft as to be forgivin’.” She continues, taking a deep drink before leaning back. “Yer whip smart, fierce, and kind enough. I couldn’t have hoped for better.”
“That ferocity and kindness was your fault.” You declare as her face and ear start to turn pink. “I’m not blaming you for the smarts though.”
She laughs and you both drink deep before sitting together quietly for a few moments.
“I’m… going to try and make sure I come back home more often. I didn’t realize how much I missed this.”
“Well, I’ll appreciate the tryin’, no matter what else life decides.” Dadan replies, a warm smile on her face.

Live-read: Dofus Heroes - Kerubim Tome 1 (part 1)
You can find this comic's physical version on Ankama's site, webtoon version on Allskreen, and Free Scans on various file-hosting websites that shall not be named.
Quick disclaimer: While I will be including french screenshots here, because it is a language that uses the latin alphabet, and everyone has that on their keyboards, all ready to type up in DeepL and Google translators — what I will actually be reading is a new fan translation in my native language, which does not use latin alphabet.
Time to quickly switch between two tabs because nobody has translated this comic into English. Yaay...
This comic has, as my fellow crepinjurgenology studies colleague @dullard put it, "thin god Ecaflip jumpscare"
Ecaflip looks a lot like Ush here, and I think it's way too malevolent. Part of the fun of him to me, is that he is an Evil Fucking Cat that looks like a cute cat. It makes his despicable actions more funny & interesting.
...Anyway, this comic came out during the run of the show, in 2013, and its sheer existence, — including its negative portrayal of ecaflip, its inclusion of blood and Kerubim's 20 mental illnesses, — is a direct confirmation of the show being an unreliable narrator story. (Though, we've been knew.)
This comic's most important function for this blog is that it will provide us with a well-needed glimpse at what Kerubim's adventures are like when he isn't retelling them to a 7-year-old child whose respect and approval he desperately craves.
The second Kerubim is fatally wounded, he gives up. Yet, Ecaflip saves him, without using one of his nine lives, just as he did in the Wheel of Destiny article.
I suppose it's one of his trump cards, isn't it?
But I am more interested in how at peace Kerubim is with death... It does make sense for Kerubim to hide some rather morbid feelings about his life behind his cheery facade, doesn't it?
It must be tiring. Losing your family, being a god's plaything, losing your brother, feeling like you have to constantly play the role of the cool womanizing warrior, and never unpacking your emotions about any of it. Death would feel like a relief from such weight.
Which makes Ecaflip's grip on his life feel more malicious.
I know, chances are, this comic, as well as most of the show, were made well before Kerubim's demigod status was thought of as a plot-point.
But even in terms of him being a demigod... I think that death would seem relaxing, despite its temporary nature, wouldn't it?
One of the main things of this whole comic is that Kerubim gets amnesia.
Harry Du Bois-ass character. Not only is he mentally ill, divorced, and has 20 layers of sad backstory, but also he got amnesia. God bless.
Yeah, this comic is more realistic and gritty than the show, but the cartoon shenanigans are still real. Thank god.
There's a reason why I think that a big part of Kerubim's character is his experiences with loneliness and isolation, and the way it makes him crave being loved and cared for, as well as how it makes him act out to get attention and popularity.
It's telling that while completely amnesiac, he identifies immediately with a small kitten, whom he immediately assumes is a "he" and "an orphan", and wants to take care of it.
It may seem like an innocuous moment at first, but "he is all alone" will become a reoccurring motif for Kerubim's mental state and subconscious in this comic, and it is the comic where we get the Orphan Kerubim reveal.
I already discussed the fact that I think Kerubim kept and adopted Joris due to Atcham-related guilt earlier on the blog, but I will take this moment to voice 2 other reasons:
Kerubim identifies with orphans and children easily. He would never leave Joris alone after looking at him and thinking "You're all alone. Like I was."
The idea of having a child would be very pleasant to someone as lonely as him. He struggles a lot with wanting to act in a way that will make people like him, and children are, by nature, inclined to like their parents even if they're complete losers.
Btw, if you follow my main, @joris-jurgen , you probably know that I headcanon Kerubim as having comorbid HPD and BPD. Because it fits. And because personality disorders are usually the result of insane levels of childhood trauma. And... my experience running this blog has so far not swayed me from this opinion in any way. This little paragraph was your Armchair Fictional Psychology Corner. This man can fit a lot of sadness and wanting to be loved in him.
Ecaflips confirmed to, just like real cats, have very good night vision.
...Aaand now I'm thinking about cute scenarios of Kerubim, Atcham, and Joris travelling at night, or navigating their home in the darkness.
(Because Joris doesn't have human eyes, as we've seen from the movie. And considering the way Grougaloragran's eyes reflect light in the Oropo ova, chances are, dragon eyes glow in the dark, the same way cats do. Which brings me to the point that, Joris's dragon-ish eyes would probably glow in the dark. Like a cat. Yeah, I am very sane, and should not be sedated in any way, readers.)
Crocosec has always wanted to have a butcher's shop and feed people with delicious food...
Ah, I don't know why, but my silly little detail-noticing from the first eps, where I pointed out that he has a meat shop, paying off? It makes me feel fuzzy. It's nice to know that the person who wrote this comic cared enough, and that it's something that was put in here with intent.
Anyway, I am about to be very normal about the next few pages.
*jumpscaring you by including a screenshot from the high-quality scanlation I am reading. Because this moment would be too blurry if I didn't.
He isn't even playing with any other kids... This is going to kill me, and not in a fun way.
The translation I am reading interprets the last line as "I would return to..." but it seems a bit wrong to me, especially considering my own research on language sentence-comparing sites.
What Kerubim pretty much says here, is that, he'd like to become a huppermage, and use magic to bring back his parents, sisters, and brothers.
While one could interpret that as Kerubim being lonely while being raised in an orphanage all his life without a family, I have a couple of counterpoints:
He calls the kitten "orphaned" specifically, which implies that there were parents, and that they aren't there anymore.
If it were just a family he wanted, he wouldn't be as specific as to say "sisters and brothers," besides just "parents," which leads me to assume that Kerubim means specific people he used to know (before they died).
3. Atcham is a Crepin too, as was revealed in the Dofus Movie. Logically speaking, if they were both given to the temple after being born, (and as we know, Atcham was at the temple, because Bashi knew him, according to Wheel of Destiny #8) they probably wouldn't have surnames, especially the same one.
4. Kerubim's unfunny joke about being the last in his family.
5. Wakfu: One More Gate's shopkeep being an ancestor of the Crepin family implies that Crepins are a real family that existed, and that, perhaps, Kerubim's affinity for selling stuff has to do with his early upbringing, before he was orphaned.
6. In the Dofus manga, Atcham says that a sword he owned, which was stolen from him, has been "passed in his family for generations", which yet again, points to them having a family to begin with.
All of this to say... What I think happened was far more devastating.
He had sisters and brothers, and two parents — it doesn't matter if the Crepin family was an adoptive one, or if it was made up of their biological mother, her husband, and half-siblings. Because they're all dead, and that's just... horrible.
A whole family, at the very least 6 people (if we assume that by "sisters and brothers", he means just two sisters and two brothers), wiped out.
...Oh, and one last thing.
7. I think that, as an adult, Kerubim did put some research into dark magic, with a hope of bringing his family back.
Just as he said he would.
....Though, as always, that might just be me reading too much into things. ╮( ̄ ▽ ̄)╭
These aren't the tears of an orphan who wishes he had a family. These are tears of grief of a child who used to have one.
And Ecaflip, his biological father and God, is taunting him about it.
...I would speak on my deeplore conspiracy theory that perhaps Ecaflip himself is to blame for whatever happened to Kerubim and Atcham's family, — to get Kerubim, or both of them, isolated, and under his thumb, — but perhaps it's just me being actually clinically insane.

Out of all the Star Allies (or the Dream Friends, however you'd call them), which one would your OCs hate or like the most?
It depends on which OC you ask, but I'll make a list of this.
Some will be obvious, but some won't be.
Since this might be long, I'll put this under a cut.
Kurabe
Likes the most: Meta Knight, biased because her adopted son. Second is Kirby because grandson.
Hates the most: Susie for the whole mechanization thing from Planet Robobot, it is kill on sight for her.
Mikuto
Likes the most: Both Meta and Kirby. He has a good relationship with Kirby, and he does like being around Meta even if it is awkward at times. (Mikuto and Kurabe started dating after Meta left the Organization, so he doesn't really comprehend the idea of having a father now)
Hates the most: Susie, for similar reasons for Kurabe.
Mercury
Likes the most: Meta Knight, and then Kirby. She only really met those two, I think.
Hates the most: Susie because I think her mechanization would remind her of the Hivemind.
Akemi
Likes the most: She would ask if she can pick both Meta and Kirby because she likes them both. But I think she and Bandee would be good friends if they met and be sparring partners.
Hates the most: Susie, for reasons similar to Kurabe. (I think you're starting to see a pattern here.)
Erhard
Likes the most: He is socially awkward, so he would probably just say Meta Knight and Kirby because he already knows both of them.
Hates the most: Susie, for reasons similar to Kurabe, but I also think it's because she used technology that could've been used to heal for harm.
Hikaru
Likes the most: She'd put her bias for Meta Knight aside and say Kirby. Which is funny because she is technically Kirby's aunt.
Hates the most: Magolor, I'd say. While she does understand why her mom hates Susie, she would see Magolor as a bigger problem because he's still scamming people out of money.
Gladis
Likes the most: She would answer Meta Knight until she realizes that everyone else did and then quickly say Bandanna in an attempt to be different. She loves brave and honorable warriors.
Hates the most: Dark Meta Knight, but I'd also say Marx and Magolor. Mostly because they are all underhanded and dishonorable.
Hiiro
Likes the most: Kirby, actually. He sees him as the ideal "hero".
Hates the most: Magolor for reasons similar to Hikaru. He hasn't learned his lesson and still scams people.
Fettuccine
Likes the most: Her husband, Meta Knight!
Hates the most: She would say Susie and Dark Meta Knight. Susie is because of the whole mechanization thing like Kurabe. Dark Meta Knight, both because of Amazing Mirror and because he once kidnapped Fetty and Meta's daughter, Freya, to use as a hostage so he can duel Meta Knight.
Pandoro
Likes the most: Meta Knight, she knew him well and enjoys a nice sword duel.
Hates the most: Dark Meta Knight for being a dishonorable swordsman and Susie for mechanizing Meta.
Risotto
Likes the most: He would say both Meta Knight and Kirby. He is good friends with Meta and he has a soft spot for children. Because of that, he might end up getting along with Adeline.
Hates the most: Susie, not only for her mechanization of Meta Knight, but of other Dream Land natives. Risotto can communicate with animals, so yeah.
Reedy
Likes the most: Other than Meta and Kirby, he would be most interested in discussing technology with Susie, I think.
Hates the most: Magolor. "Why is the infamous Halcandrian criminal here?!"
Bio-Gale
Likes the most: Meta Knight, she serves him, of course.
Hates the most: Susie, for reasons similar to Kurabe and Erhard. Especially since she saw how badly Meta Knight was affected by his experiences with her firsthand.
Bebebe and Cecece
Likes the most: With no bias whatsoever, King Dedede.
Hates the most: Funny enough, Magolor, I'd say. Mostly because he doesn't actually regret what he did.

( CIS MALE / HE/HIM ) A TRAVIS FIMMEL lookalike has arrived in Myrkvjord, stepping onto the deck of The Blood Serpent, their reputation either preceding them or waiting to be made. Aegir The Kraken has survived Thirty-Five years, and their name is already whispered in ports, feared by traders, or cursed by the clans. Some call them Bloodthirsty, others say they are Loyal, but one thing is certain—their fate is bound to the sea. With their influence growing, they are set to either rule the waves or sink beneath them. You might know them as a Captain, but soon enough, they will be remembered as more.

BIOGRAPHY
before soren was born to two great warriors of the ironblood clan; a berserker and shieldmaiden in their own rights. from a young age he was seen as a promising young man, destined to be one of the ironblood clans greatest warriors. until it all went wrong. toke was too ambitious, too proud, and he died for his hubris. killed by the jarl whom he sought to overthrow. death would have been a kindness, or at the very least expected. but the jarl allowed gyda, soren, and his sister to live. exiling them from the ironblood clan, given to nature, given to the gods — treacherous nomads. perhaps the gods were keeping them, because they were accepted by the wolfborn clan — proving themselves with soren's skill as a warrior and his sister and mothers devotion to the gods. gyda and her daughter settled.. but soren could not. he did not have his gathers prude, but he had his rage. and rage demands blood. he was with the wolfborn clan for a year before his quest of vengeance became too much for the other members of the clan, and he was exiled again. alone this time. a true outcast. after months alone in the wilderness, after ruminating endlessly on his desire for justice — he made a choice, a change. aegir was born. after at the age of twenty aegir joined the crew of the kraken, a ship under the shadow tide. but it turned out he had a similar type of ambition running through his veins as his father did — after five years as a crew member.. there was mutiny. with aegir at the head of it all. by the end of it the captain, and any of his crew that refused to follow aegir, were dead. a serpent. a snake. a traitor. they called him, but he didn't care. they couldn't call him anything with their throats cut. with a deck slick with blood.. the blood serpent was born. and so was its captain — the kraken. its been ten years since aegir became captain, and he has made a name for himself as the most ruthless and bloodthirsty captain under the shadow tide. in all of the sea if you asked him. but his desire for justice, the desire to avenge his father, has become hazy. his anger is not only for the clan that killed his father and exiled his family, it is for the world, and he will spill blood until his thirst for vengeance is slaked. though it probably never will be.
wanted connections
the krakens daughter — my father is the worst man alive. 21 - 25, she has been with aegir for roughly 10 years. he saved her when she was young and now they have a father faughter relationship. she is a member of his crew, possibly the first mate (depending on age and vibes) but either way has an important role, and is probably one of the very few people he trusts. and i am his favorite daughter.
a love lost — when i first saw you, the end was soon. someone from the wolfborn clan. they would have only known each other for a year at most, but their romance was a whirlwind of passion. to the point that she begged him to give up his desire for vengeance and stay, and he begged her to come with him. neither of them were willing to give up what they cared about so they parted ways when aegir was exiled from the wolfborn clan. they haven't seen each other for 15 years so what she is doing now is completely open, as well as what becomes of them being reunited. she only knew him as soren, so when she hears stories of aegir, the kraken, or the captain of the blood serpent, she doesn't know its him. i'd burn the world to bring some heat to you.
a sisters love — lets be children again. his younger sister. 21 - 34. they had a close relationship for most of their lives together and he was very protective of her, but she didn't share the same desire for his bloody justice after their fathers death. they haven't seen each other since he was exiled from the wolfborn clan 15 years ago. she only knew him as soren, so when she hears stories of aegir, the kraken, or the captain of the blood serpent, she doesn't know its him. i'll chase you, if you chase me.

THIS IS THE THIRD TIME SKYCRACKLE HAS FOUND LOST KITS AND ADOPTED THEM
STOP. FINDING. KITS.
YOU HAVE TOO MANY CHILDREN!!!
okay but actually i love him sm
Skycrackle asked to join the clan bcus he was a loner w/ 3 kits, and he became a healer, then two of his kits died (rip Cliffkit and Palekit) and the other went on to become a warrior named Blizzardswan... and then he had another bio-kit, currently Nightpaw, with a cat from outside the clan so I kinda wonder if he has like an outsider mate who's kind of abusive but he's still in a relationship with?? idk. or just a bad parent so he keeps having to take all their kits...
either way, on the SAME MOON he had Nightkit, he was out looking for herbs when he HEARD A CAT DIE and found her newborn kits (Littlepaw, Streampaw, Tempestpaw), and so ofc he just adopted them right up... only for, ON THE SAME MOON, a warrior patrol found an abandoned newborn kit (Turlepaw; side note, Turtlepaw's mentor is Lightningcry and they also saved a turtle on patrol together lmao), so OF COURSE logic being logic, SKYCRACKLE ADOPTS THEM...
HIS KITS JUST BECAME APPRENTICES (they're 7 moons here) AND HE ALREADY FOUND ANOTHER DEAD CAT AND ADOPTED THEIR KITS
HELLO??? SIR???
if any of them die im rioting... at least not Nightpaw and Turlepaw I love them
