I hit a big milestone this week.

For the first time in almost ten months, I picked up a paintbrush and painted some miniatures.

I’ve had no time or motivation to do any Hobbying for most of this year for a number of reasons but I’m now at a point where I can carve out a few minutes here and there to get painting.

A big part of this was clearing out the hobby room which had been used as a storage room and was piled high with boxes and other stuff, so it was not the kind of place I wanted to be in.

I got the room cleared and reorganised my painting setup so it’s all fresh and ready to go.

I’m hoping to get more time to paint going forward, as I’ve really missed it. Building and painting scale miniatures has always been a primary source of calm for me, helping to take my mind off things and de-stress. So it’s kinda ironic that stress and all of the things that come with it, has been the reason I’ve not been able to paint, and it created a sort of spiral which I was finding it very difficult to escape from.

Hopefully 2025 will be a smoother ride.

Glad to be back and hopefully I’ll have some stuff to share soon!

Some Horsemen, Possible Huscarls WIP for the Steppe Army of Chaos, blending some more AoS Darkoath guys with *Ahem* proper fantasy chaos bits and what not. Holding off on basing these guys as part of me is wanting to do place-holder/scenic unit bases for them. Maybe. I'll probably get lazy and do normal ones, but what the hell.

A dwarf veteran warrior of a Dawi Hold I'm cooking up. They mainly produce and export paints/lacquers, so their gear is very colourful.

Just finished some simple Kit-bashing for my General. That’s a Highland Mini’s model of a royal Pegasus, with a GW duke’s head. The decal’s I got from several Etsy vendors- might have gone a bit overboard on them, but if that ever bothers me more I think I can still add or move them around if I want to.

My Cult of the Possessed warband is ready to face (or cause) the horrors that lurk in the streets of Mordheim. I'm going to keep this post brief-ish because last time I tried to make this post it broke my Tumblr Completely.

Belegar was my first favorite dwarf lord only overtaken by Grombrindal overtime. I now have my 2 favorite dwarf lords in Warhammer.

All I need now is Malakai Makaisson!

First match of today was my Dark Elf army with Ogre mercenaries(great weapons) vs my friend Hayden's Brettonian knights at 1500pts

My lord on the Manticore was harassing the rear of his left lank before he left the board which ultimately lead to a Brettonian victory.
