oh….. the THINGS i would give for a @forgettable-au movie……..

gang- okay…

The vision of Papyrus and Gaster at Wingdings’ funeral…. was so vivid in my head. And now its going to be there forever. and i have 0 complaints.

Dunno if any of you have played Omori, but SPOILERS!

the context to this is kinda like the Blackspace segment. Papyrus is in his head sorting out the shit he needs to sort out through metaphors n such. But Gaster is also there because he can do that because theyre the same person (IT MAKES SENSE)

I imagine that whole thing happens right after Papyrus regains all his wingdings memories like he gets knocked out or something- IM MAKING A LOT OF ASSUMPTIONS HERE LIKE HE MIGHT NOT EVEN REMEMBER, EVER!!! I REALLY HOPE HE DOES!!! BUT!!!

Just let me have my silly fanfics…

After a lot of fighting and agony over the question of WHO IS PAPYRUS? ESPECIALLY AFTER HE’S LEARNED TOO MUCH?

it ends with a somber scene of putting Wingdings to rest, letting his 2 halves live their own lives.

Papyrus asks “Why did you do this?” as in… Why did you bring me here? and why did you do what you did? throwing yourself into the void?

Gaster has the same answer for both of those questions

Thats my theory, I think a lot of Gaster/Wingdings’ ambition, in game and in comic, is just curiosity

TIME FOR SOME FUN LITTLE EASTER EGGS!!!

In the first frame, theres a raindrop in front of Papyrus’ eye socket, meant to allude to Wingdings’ eye lights.

Also the field is filled with Echo and Golden flowers. Echo represents Wingdings, and Golden represents Papyrus. Gaster is just Gaster, don’t worry about him

I also had fun making the save point star look sorta like a cross from the distance…cause yknow…heaven….TEEHEE

I got emotional putting “dearest brother” on the grave cause I couldnt put any more stuff like “closest friend” or “dear son”….Sans was kinda all he had…

and lastly heres some bonus behind the scenes stuff because I have enough room for it

some sketches, and a speedpaint with the best instrumental song ever made from the best liveaction movie ever made that has absolutely nothing to do with the forgettable au (Little Miss Sunshine - “THE WINNER IS”)

Highly recommend, 100/10, makes me UGLY SOB, think the undertale gang would like it (especially Papyrus and Undyne)

When Superboy Prime accidentally resurrected Jason Todd, it was described something like the universe righting itself. And, from a purely physical point of view, Jason never died. It brought his body back to it's state before his death, his injuries there but with just enough he could still survive

So, now I'm imagining like. What if there was an au where it was more than Jason just physically "never dying," but it affected memories of those around as well

Joker not remembering killing him, Dick not remembering hearing the news, Batman and Gotham not remembering the 6 months between Jason's death and resurrection, but not thinking much if it

Its all as if Jason never died

#the way im personally thinking about going about this is like. mystery #theres a grave for jason todd but its empty. 6 months of your memories are glossing over something. all of Jason's stuff is gone #rambling #this is hard to get to work you have to fuck around with alot #you could go FURTHER. jason has no grave at ALL. he just woke up in Ethiopia one day #maybe wandered around just the same until the league found him? goes from there #but the POINT #is imagine waking up and your son is gone and you cant remember any thought you had about him the past 6 months #imagine waking up and not knowing that no one remembers you died #imagine seeing memorials for every hero but you (i mean thats still canon) (but imagine there was a reason for it)#this would change bruce Alot #oh hey if you go further with it where decisions made in response to jasons death dont happen (funeral. hiding his things. etc)#you can keep in the fanon where all of Jason's stuff is left in the manor untouched. instead of hidden like it actually went #no jason victim blaming from bruce to cope with the death. that changes how everyone sees jay bc bruce controls the narrative on jason 👀!?#jason being the only one who remembers. thatd be so fucked. what if no one tells him that memories of his death were just wiped away #that his death just never happened #but what if they do? how does he deal with that? all very exciting to think about #jason todd #red hood #batman #dc comics #i dont know the EXACT timeline so whats happening to tim. is he just here now with his own robin suit and not sure why #man this would be a fun mystery to force bats to chew on

#SO. I FINALLY FINISHED SEASON 2.#the finale was fun. i liked it a lot more than s1's admittedly #now i'm ruminating on the finer details of kuroba's side of it...#in my head the skit / segment for it would be called kuroba's melancholy so i might start calling it that #i can't decide if they'd still be there when totoko's reading her letter at the funeral tho #like i feel like matsuyo and matsuzou would have invited them to stay but there's a part of me that thinks they'd politely refuse #they'd thank them but feel like they're interloping a bit. after all the rest of them have known the sextuplets for all their lives #they've only known them for around two years at that point so they think it'd be best for them to leave with the rest of the visitors #( they also don't know if they could handle sending them off to cremation. they've had to do that before w/ hibiki and it was rough )#also i kinda like the idea of kuroba running into homura after the wake and becoming acquainted with her #probably stumbles upon her crying in the park and offers her a handkerchief & a person to talk to...#gotta put my head in my hands and sit for a bit #also almost forgot to mention : the earrings they're wearing are kara's white day gift to them #they hadn't gotten the chance to wear them yet...#osmt #osomatsu-san oc #mj ocs #oc : kuroba #mj draws #tw implied death

Exactly - it would be absolutely peak 911 hilarity and totally something they would do!! Especially as there are a lot of people saying that 911 needs to kill of a character now to stop the show becoming stale etc (which I can kind of see their point but I also don’t think it’s necessary to do that and I actually love the show for not killing its mains and having them impossibly survive everything!) and this would both achieve that and troll them at the same time - which would make it funnier 😂

Not gonna lie - I’ve kinda got very attached to the idea and will be sad if that’s not how it plays out on the show now! 🤓

I know that people are rarely their best selves at a funeral, but do you ever just watch your family move through the process of mourning the Patriarch and have a sudden and violent and vivid understanding of Why Everyone Is The Way They Are

#it doesn't really matter if the answer is yes or no #because the thing is i am watching my family disintegrate in the wake and wreckage of disability/chronic illness #and i am feeling a grief and a rage that i cannot quite cope with #i am feeling many things and I am extremely drunk on vodka and tequila and red wine and i spent all day emotionally regulating #the worlds most fucking fucked up audhd genetic pool i've ever seen in my life #i don't quite know how to cope with the things that have happened today and as busy as my brain is given all that i prolly shouldn't have #had quite so many substances #the crossfade is far superior to being sober around my family and apparently despite it all i wasn't too incoherent #i was a blubbering baby the whole funeral tho #and i did spend the whole reception trying to manage a pots episode and the whole after party trying to stabilize my cousins #i don't know where in all this I will really be able to grieve my uncle himself #but honestly part of the issue on that is that i am feeling rather upset with and disappointed in the few people in my family who I had come #to trust over the years #chrissy and jenn are still everything i knew them to he #*be #and everyone else.....well #the people i knew before at least #fucking intergenerational trauma - the musical

Owlie is rehearsing for a show!! It's based around the song "Finnegan's Wake" and involves lots of Irish folk music. Owlie is playing its flute for the music!!! Which is awesome bc this is one of my favorite genres of music, and I actually knew all of the songs already 😂

I'm really excited about this show, and I've worked with the director a couple times already on other projects. He's super cool, and he's actually my brother's professor in uni rn for stage combat. My region is so small for containing the second-largest population center in my state 😵‍💫
