Viserys II: Vermithor - Intellectually he had the potential to be the second coming of Jaehaerys, I think Vermithor would have seen his first rider in Viserys II and formed a bond with him.

Aegon IV: Syrax - Both very lazy and very fertile. I know he would have wanted Sunfyre because he seems superficial as heck but I can NOT see him bonding with Sunfyre. (Say what you will about Egg2, but he loved Sunfyre in a was Egg4 was incapable of loving anyone.)

Aemon: Tessarion - The Daeron the Daring vibes are there! I think Tessarion would have been drawn to him judging by him sharing many traits in common with her first rider.

Naerys: Dreamfyre - Might have not claimed a dragon at all but Papa Viserys might have hoped a dragon would improve her poor health and pushed her to claim one. Plus, Dreamfyre LOVES her miserable tragic Targ Queens and Naerys gave birth to twins once. You know who else had twins? That's right, Queen Rhaena and Queen Helaena.

Daeron I: Vhagar - Boy King would have wanted himself the greatest beast he could get. Nothing more fitting to conquer Dorne than a conqueror's dragon. Would have gotten himself and Vhagar killed in Dorne like Rhaenys & Meraxes.

Baelor I: Silverwing - If he chooses a dragon at all I can't imagine it being anyone other than the gentle Silverwing.

Daena: Meleys - I think Meleys has a type: strong & badass Targ ladies.

Rhaena: NONE - She 100% wouldn't have claimed a dragon.

Elaena: Morning - After aunt Rhaena's death. She stole her other aunt Baela's man (Alyn V), only fitting for her to take Rhaena's dragon.

Daeron II: Sunfyre - While he's not that similar to Aegon II obviously, Sunfyre is a dragon who's characterization is built around love. I love the idea of Sunfyre picking up on a boy feeling rejected by his father and filling that hole like he did for another Targ boy before, only this one ended up being a better person. (Plus daddy undearest Aegon IV would have been so pissed off seeing Daeron claim the prettiest dragon.)

Daenerys: Silverwing - She seemed intelligent and likable and kind, not to mention her descendants followed absolute primogeniture and she shares a name with feminist icon Alysanne's daughter so Silverwing just fits.

Baelor: Tessarion - Listen! I trust my girl Tessarion to have good taste! I can see Baelor claiming her after great-uncle Aemon's death.

Aerys I: NONE - I feel like be wouldn't have one. He's so Archmaester Vaegon coded, he'd just be locked up in his room with his books.

Rhaegel: N/A - Just N/A, we know nothing about him.

Maekar: Sunfyre - He would wait years to claim Sunfyre after his dad's death. Sunfyre would have been very large at this point plus he's a war dragon which would be perfect for Maeker's war-like tendencies.

Bloodraven: Caraxes - An unusual dragon just like Bloodraven himself. I can see Daeron II offering him a dragon but I can't see him having a dragon going into current day so he'd probably get Caraxes killed at some point.

Shiera Seastar: NONE - As lovely as she is, there would be 0 good reason for Daeron II to give her one since she isn't fighting wars for him like Bloodraven.

As someone who ships Turkfra because of how fascinating the history between France and the Ottoman Empire is (Franco-Ottoman alliance) I like to think that they would both really bond over each other’s rich poetry culture. Not to mention their rich cuisines. Maybe they cook together in the evenings, or take turns cooking and surprising each other with elaborate dinners.

NERVE X 141 (PLATONIC HEADCANONS)

some background:

Nerve is a CoD OC i’ve had since 2018. I haven’t gotten very far on their backstory, but this fic takes place during 2016 (MW2). Nerve is Russian/Hispanic but was born in the U.S., circa 1997, even though they spent their childhood in Izhevsk, Udmurtia, Russia. I can elaborate on their backstory in a future fic, if anyone would like me to.

Nerve is fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish. They speak a little Portuguese as well (mainly because of its similarity to Russian). Their accent is a light mix of Russian and Honduran, but it’s not strong.

They were found by the 141 as an abandoned soldier in the middle of bumfuck Russian wilderness. They were in their late teens, and were too afraid and shaken to even consider speaking. Thankfully, they posed no immediate threat, as once they were given medical attention, the first thing they did was insult Soap’s hairstyle.

Yuri laughed. The others didn’t.

Speaking of Yuri, they grew especially close to him even though they aren’t very good at showing it. An extra dinner roll, putting some more care into his wounds, or simply completing a task in the same room as him. He was the only other Russian.

Nerve was dubbed that because before their squadron abandoned them, they used to literally create nerve gas in a basement. They were incredibly skilled in chemistry and knew how to use it to their advantage, but stopped using it because of the damage it caused. They were also named that because they were constantly nervous, just completely rigid, and it was easy to get on their nerves.

The name was official when they were wounded in battle and their mate had failed to operate on them. A literal exposed nerve hung out of their body. They have permanent nerve damage in that area—their right forearm.

Nerve used to be in the Russian air force. Being drafted in a time of need and at 16 years old, they simply went to where they needed the most soldiers—not that they had a choice in where they went, anyway. They flew a Su-27SKM. They named it ‘Lassie’, much to Soap’s delight.

Laswell convinced Price for Nerve to join. She’d grown quite attached to them, because they immediately attached themselves onto her arm when they were rescued. Nerve prefers not to bring it up.

Actually, the 141 doesn’t even know their gender. They have long hair, a heart shaped face, and slightly feminine features, but their build is curveless and thin, despite muscular. It turned into an entire debate.

“If it was a girl, she would have had her period or cried by now, right? Maybe she’d have a little bit of bust.” Soap hisses.

“If they were male, they’d have more masculine features. They wouldn’t be a staggering 5’7. Also, they’re not an ‘it’, Johnny.” Ghost retorts.

Ghost turns to the soldier fidgeting with a cube in the corner. “Ma’am.” He barks at them, to which they turn their head. He snorts, and Soap responds with pausing until they’ve returned to their cube, and then shouting “Sir.” They turn their head as well. Gaz laughs.

They are AFAB, but they have a condition in which they produce more testosterone and androgen than the usual AFAB person. On the occasion they do have a menstrual cycle, they just play it off like they’ve been shot in the abdomen. Easier to explain.

They’re steady, a force to hold onto when running into a crowd. They’ll keep you by your side, and never takes unexpected turns.

If they were an animal, they’d imagine themselves to be a donkey. Not a mule, though; they’re afraid of horses. And anything with horse blood. That’s why they’re as stubborn as one.

Hates when they’re spoken down to. They don’t give their higher-ups any extra respect than they need. Hates when they have to submit to anything.

for background, the world he lives in is the past version of the world the story mostly takes place in! he belongs to a race we call the ancients. the ancients all did their part to better their society together. everyone had their own place. when you feel you served your place in the world, you die and go back into the magic source of the world, aether. its regarded as a very beautiful process. everyone as well all wear masks and the same robes, individualism isn’t exactly important to them

but going back to my special guy!! his name is hermes, a lot of people in ancient times use names of figures in greek mythology. he works at a research facility called elpis, at the facility they create and research creatures others had made with aether to see if they are fit to live in the world. hermes is a overseer, and loves to make creatures who can fly. apart of his job is killing creatures who have issues, due to his society’s view of all creatures being made to better society. if a creature can’t fly, or is aggressive, they are put down.

hermes feels that it is cruel to kill these creatures instead of taking care of them, seeing them as equals to him and humanity, which makes him incredibly depressed and he begins looking towards answers of what other peoples on other planets and universes live for. he makes meteion with a new magic type he had created, based on flowers that were found before the ancients had come to elpis to set up their research, dynamis. dynamis is based on emotions of others around them. he makes meteia, which is multiple of the blue bird he had made, to explore the universe for the answer to why we live. the little girl he is seen with often is named meteion, she is the first one he made that has free will.

there are 14 ‘rulers’ in ancient society, being the best to handle the aspect they are given to oversee. the person in charge of overseeing life is given the title fandaniel, and the person who had the former title fandaniel had decided to pass on, that their work was done, and that hermes should fill their role as fandaniel. hermes doesn’t really want to. he feels his place is best on elpis, as he is waiting for his report of the meaning of life from the meteia, and he is a bit secretive about it, since he is worried that his negative feelings make him a mistake.

lord it gets complicated. but thats a overview. the meteia comes back to report to him there is nothing out there in the universe, every society destroyed themselves, and killed each other. the meteia wants to destroy everyone to save them from prolonged suffering, since she can feel the emotions of every creature she has ever met. hermes sets up a test to see if humanity should continue, he sends meteia back into the universe to destroy them, that if humanity has enough willpower and hope they will be able to overcome the meteia. he wipes his memories and everyone else’s of that encounter and gets incredibly depressed afterwards thinking that he had killed meteia.

he takes the title fandaniel due to his guilt, never wanting to make the mistake of killing another creature.

Non natives love to defend Erdo which is why us Turks have a whole term for them. Most of it however DOES stem from the second option being true.

Erdogan was in fact a very good leader in his first few years of power, now my family personally never liked him, he technically was in power on the sidelines for 10 years until he became president 10 yrs go. He did many things like make hospitals and healthcare way more accessible, fixed a lot of roads and built bridges etc. Now you may go “jay, isnt that what a normal president is supposed to do ?” Well, yes. But the guy before him didnt do a whole lot, so him doing his literal job was enough to convince people he was good enough to keep around.

As time went on he started to take a way harsher approach. Slowly but surely the price and tax on everything went up. Religion started to be the hottest topic in turkey despite us being a secular country on paper.Slowly festivals became too loud, protests were bothersome, pride parades were sinful, gays werent considered people, music after 12 wasnt allowed, Eurovision was something too embarrassing for our country to take place in, alcohol was a luxury that only the desperate & sinful tried to buy, women were not obedient enough, the legal age to get married was too high, sex before marriage became a big topic, rapists and murderers would walk freely, femicide got to a brand new high and a whole lot more.

This all happened slowly and gradually. By the time we thought to speak up on any of this the i-don’t-even know, 60% yearly inflation rate had worn us down. A dollar was no longer 2.5 TL, it was close to 25. Nothing could be bought with minimum wage. Whatever you bought, you bought a second one for the govt in tax (a phone here costs twice the price of one in america). People who vote for him mostly do so because all media outlets are heavily censored and totally in his favor. He has control of literally everything. Literally!! He hosted a referendum where he legally was given so much power that he can change whatever he wants on a whim. He will confidently lie out of his teeth and tell his supporters that the reason everything is so expensive is because of his opposition (who have virtually no power) + its fine because even if we’re poor we’re closer to god and his supporters eat it up because they have some fucked up parasocial relationship with him.

Right now we’re screwed beyond belief. The election was rigged in his favor but despite everything he either wasnt able to end it on the first round or intentionally didnt so he could win by a higher margin on the next round. The house is fucked, the opposition lost a ton of seats to highly religious islamic fanatics who straight up advocate for sharia law. That and the president literally had an alliance with a terrorist organization who want 15 year olds to get married, theyre also in the house. Its great.

Now we wait for the 28th, but its going to take a miracle for Erdogan to lose. I have virtually 0 hope at this point. One thing is foreigners defending him, but any turk who does so deserve everything they get. I truly hope anyone who voted for him suffer a fate worse than death (at this rate, they will). It may sound harsh, but ive seen no one in power except for this absolute sorry of an excuse, cunt of a man. My teens and childhood was wasted away with terrorist attacks and a staged coup, along with a power hungry man who made every walking day of my life worse than what it could have been.

personally im glad the bugs we get are usually gene errors and simple visual shit and not completely game breaking bugs like your dragon going poof never to be seen again, gene errors are annoying and sometimes the coli crashes on me and sometimes pop ups have the wrong text/images, but... idk. at least they're not game breaking.

there have been games i played where sometimes a bug would just. kill your fucking pet. on the spot. there was this one obscure game i used to play, because i frequently go to that one list of all pet sims and play ones ive never heard of, and you had to feed your pets at least once a week. i would feed daily because i would play daily

and one day out of nowhere a bug made my pet's food meter drop to 0 and he fucking DIED and staff reversed it like a month after i sent in the report (i think. it was one guy running the game tbh. like i said. very obscure. i dont fault them for taking a while to get to my email) but by then i didnt play the game much anymore bc i found a better, more enjoyable game, that had DRAGONS and even better, they DIDNT DIE IF YOU DIDNT FEED THEM

so, im very glad flight rising doesnt have any massive bugs like that. i can live with waiting a few weeks to gene my new dragons, but if one of the dragons i worked forever to breed just disappeared one day out of my control, i'd be really upset

idk. sugar to fr for not having massive game breaking bugs like dragons going fucking poof out of nowhere. the gene errors suck, but there's 177 colors, 85 genes, and 3 poses, there's BOUND to be gene errors. they're very annoying (crimson f Mochlus/riopa you will be missed, i never had a dragon or scry with it but it was very pretty) but... i can certainly live with some genes changing within the first couple weeks of launch, considering much worse bugs could exist

OBVIOUSLY you can be mad at both gene bugs AND game breaking bugs, luckily there aren't any game breaking ones i know of, and it's nice that i only have to worry about gene bugs, and not my dragon going kersplat when i blink

I waited until I had a day off to review and listen to IVE's new album, but first, let me share my thoughts on HEYA and the MV. I've seen it a few times since it came out on Monday, but still can't decide how much I like the song.

The MV itself is pretty amazing. The visuals (the beautiful colors, patterns, artwork, etc.) and creativity are really strong, the camera work is awesome, the styling in great, and this is by far their best MV and a great MV in general, but, on the other hand it feels rushed and disjointed... They jump from one eclectic frame to another, and my brain doesn't even have time to digest what I'm looking at - too many colors, too many different members appearing on each shot. The MV doesn't really tell a story or allow you to properly take in the visuals, the members, the sets, the choreo, even the song. It's a very pretty MV, but too fast paced.

Gaeul got the raw end of the deal. She actually has, imo, the most beautiful shots in the MV - esp. the close up on her face when she's looking ethereal; imo the best, most iconic shot -, but she has, like, 0 meaningful lines. For some reason, people don't seem to care for Gaeul? I don't think she has the best stage presence (she probably has the worst), and, for a main dancer, her dancing doesn't stand out, but she's the best rapper imo and she has a really sweet and mellow personality that I find charming and refreshing. She often goes viral for her parts too (her verses in After Like are some of my favorites).

Also, at this point you can call me a Rei anti although I don't hate her at all. I'm just honestly sick and tired of her face and voice. She gets literally all the lines, on par with Yujin, but her voice, to me, is super childish and annoying. There are verses of hers I like, especially the their first songs, but overall, she has way too many lines now. People like her because she's cute and acts sexy, right? To me, she's by far the weakest dancer and her personality is the least appealing (again, not to sound like an anti, but I watch all of IVE's videos on their YT channel and can't stand her anymore). Anyway, she objectively has way too many lines in this song. Her opening verse is terrible to me, and none of the others are any better (esp. the bridge...).

The line distribution in this song is pretty surprising. They gave Liz tons of lines (it seems they're starting to appreciate her again...), and she ate them! Her voice sounded amazing, and Liz is also the best live singer and one of the best dancers (after Yujin, she's the only one who imo doesn't look weak or tired when she dances). Her verses in Heya are some of the best parts of the song, and her first scene is one of my favorites in the MV (I love her outfit and that popping move she does with her chest).

Leeseo too got the lines she deserved. Her first verses aren't great, but I like the rest. I think a lot of people dislike her voice, but I think she's a very talented maknae. I really like her tone (it's catchy and versatile, although sometimes she does sound a bit childish), she has amazing facial expressions, and her dancing is on par with most of the other members. I think Leeseo is great with killing parts.

Wonyoung got less lines than usual, but she had enough screentime anyway. I thought Yujin didn't have enough lines, but it's more like she had less screen time than usual. Her lines in the bridge weren't great though. She would've nailed Liz's post-chorus verse. Imo, she could've taken the second post-chorus. Gaeul should've been given half of Rei's verses, at least.

Even after listening to the song on Spotify, I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It's refreshing and they pulled off the concept change, but Baddie might be better. This song is safer, and some parts are great, but it's not the catchiest, and it has too much rap probably.

Idk... Really glad for my girl Liz, though.

Oh, and the choreo... not great at all. I've seen their Studio Choom performance twice and can barely remember anything. IVE are very weak dancers and their choreographers sadly don't know how to make them look good. I thought things were looking up with I AM and Baddie, but...

ANYWAY now that ive gotten my firefly rant off my chest and on a more positive note about the story overall; i Really liked it!!!! and character-wise specifically the biggest surprise for me in a huge W way was actually acheron??

& given i was actually somewhat committed to pulling her anyway (well. initially as kafka replacement to pull my first lightning carry after losing 50-50 but. Well. she had mercy on me at the v last moment thank goodness 😭😭) so actually ending up liking her character this much just cemented that resolve for good too. cant wait for her!!! like i am still meh on her base design not bc its that bad by itself but simply bc seeles existence just cheapens it so much like. Why are they so similar. but its not bad lmao

anyway to her actual characterization. first of all. the VAs delivery omg yall beidous english voice is already one of my all time favorites in genshin and shes doing an amazing job as acheron like. she started talking and im just INSTANTLY warmed up to her just from that KDJSKDKJK i love love love her attitude and energy!!!!!

n personality wise too??? like ive seen others mention a similar sentiment but its just the way how. even after getting the warnings from now Two separate characters that shes up to no good. im just like. "nah id win" abt it SHSKDKSI like throughout the story she comes off as so damn likeable and grounded and realistically friendly (as in not like. too open n aligned w the player from the get-go to feel believable for the character as opposed to a plot contrivance) that i just. even if shes bad news im team acheron truly.

she has genuinely funny one liners too ??? like not necessarily jokes outright but the kinda comments she says are just . very realistic in that dry witty way that comes off as natural and entertaining shes so charming!!! i love her. the more contemplative stuff she says too

but also like. girl whats up w the ominous red text ily but are we cool 😭😭 and the whole shredding us into thin slices on first encounter in the dreamscape like. Ok uhhhhhhhh ik i said nah id win and team acheron forever but this is kinda. worrisome

BUT that just means im so fucking excited to see her go apeshit too lmao like. oh shes an emanator here to do murder and spread death? COOL i hope she has fun!!

(and ik i said firefly rant over but. what the actual hell is that post firefly merk dialogue option where the games like very heavy handedly implying ur supposed to be blaming ACHERON for "letting it happen" in some emotional frenzy???? bro what 💀💀 0/5 moment i would never. n even if she plausibly did im just. dude her being cold towards firefly is just a plus for me when the narrative has just railroaded the TB into being sooo charmed by her magical presence lmao i Liked that acheron was suspicious n cold)

overall Definitely wasnt expecting acheron to establish herself as such an instant favorite for sure but. shes here now and im v happy abt it im super looking forward to seeing those more dubious goals of her come to the forefront in the future like. im so curious about whats up w her and her memory and that red text and everything

today i watched the first five episodes of cbs ghosts and as an avid enjoyer of bbc ghosts i decided to share my thoughts and comparisons!

so here are my thoughts… (its kinda long so beware)

Things I Liked:

-My favourite characters are Isaac and Thorfinn, because Isaac is a silly gay soldier man (can you tell i love the captain) and thorfinn is THE icon.

-My favourite parts of the episodes are when they move away from the original bbc ghosts plot and create something of their own- it makes it more enjoyable and interesting as someone who has watched each episode of ghosts so many times ive lost count.

-The characters bounce off each other quite well, there were moments, like when pete and trevor hugged each other after pushing over the pot and i was like haha nice. 👍 they feel like a group

-the show is americanised and i like that about it, it feels very different from the rest of the shows i watch (im british) so its kind of a breath of fresh air in that way

-

Things i Didnt Like (sorry :(

-The run time (20 mins) means the story is very compacted and, compared to the original, the plot is the same but feels more rushed.

-They sometimes try to have emotional moments??? but i dont feel anything. in the first episode they have one just after samantha goes to hospital and i was sat there like Ok???? It didnt have an impact bc i had only known them for 15 minutes.

—Trevors character….. i think if i saw him without watching bbc ghosts i would have felt better about him. hes a combination of julian and thomas, and he feels washed out because he has both their major traits (slutty politician + liking alison/sam) but toned down.)

Instead of a poet waxing romance and almost innocently adoring her (like thomas) he is a weird politican guy who kinda hits on her sometimes (calling her hot, wondering if they were flirting). i still think hes entertaining, i like him but when he makes comments sometimes i want to scream like someone please make this man stop. hes like julian if he had 0% slut, looked like thomas, and hit on alison.

—some ghosts i dont really see??? like sasappis and that high girl (idek her name😭) i barely see, and the greaser guy with his head chopped off ive seen twice??? they probably get more screentime later but damn where these ghosts at. i want to know more

—cbs ghosts doesnt leave any suspense to what most died of. they flat out state most of them. it leaves the suspense that came with bbc ghosts completely gone. you cant make theories bc they hand it to you on a silver platter and dont make you wait.

—jay and samathas relationship makes me want to commit a crime (in a bad way!!). jay is the worst. they were arguing in teh first three episodes. Jay didnt want to move into the house. theyre not a united front at all! hes kinda fighting with sam and mentioned multiple times about her “cute butt” which personally made me want to scream again. and they just dont have couple vibes

when they try to have moments, it’s stilted. compared to alison and mike who you can see together and who you are endeared to from the first episode, they DONT compare.

Alison sometimes borrows mikes coat in the show, and i dont get that kind of comfortable loving vibe from sam and jay. its not happening for me.

anyway sam should just divorce jay and run the bnb by herself, send post

— OKAY there was this moment where trevor raises his arms and the rest of the ghosts cringe and look away bc of his crotch. Then theres a shot where trevors crotch isnt covered by a pot or another object, its blurred out in pixels. anyway i hated it so much pls make it disappear from existence im begging

-the colour palettes are kinda jarring, its not really that cohesive

Conclusion:

I do like it and i will keep watching it for Isaac, but mostly i still think bbc ghosts is the better option so far and if you are thinking about which to watch first, you should watch the original bbc ghosts.

im gonna keep watching and I really hope this show comes into its own.

BUT saying that, im probably biased because im super attached to bbc ghosts, so go check it out for yourself! i am a simple person on the internet and you’d probably be better forming your own opinion.

i’ll probably post my complete opinion on it if i ever finish it. so. yeah.
