Been thinking about undertale neutral and how the souls, no matter your choices, disappear. Been thinking about the uty cast learning the news of a new human having fallen and killing the king to leave. Been thinking about uty cast realising they let Clover die and their sacrifice being for nought before they know it. Been thinking about how devastated they would be knowing that in neutral, they have to live knowing they won’t be free anytime soon and they won’t ever see Clover again. Been thinking about how in near geno neutrals, all of monster kind are under the impression of humanity being awful and they can’t do anything to change it, even if they know not all of humanity is terrible if Clover wasn’t. Been thinking about the fact that in near pacifist neutral where Toriel takes over and declares all humans should be welcomed, they have to live knowing if they hid Clover away for however long between them and frisk falling they could have had a normal childhood underground. Been thinking a lot about neutral routes

I can't bring myseld to fully love Curly.

He knew what Jimmy did to Anya but he was so into keeping the bigger picture together he just skipped over all of the details that were right in front of his eyes

He thinks as the captain and Jimmy's firend, but most importantly a the captain ,not as Anya's friend, or any human being with logic. From his point of wiew, he's the one who's supposed to keep the whole bigger picture together even if it means duct taping it back together it just needs to be together

and he ran away from his responsibility as Anya's friend and having morals to take responsibility as the captain who has to end this delivery with least inconveniences as possible

maybe he's also scared of Jimmy outlashing on him or the crew maybe he's trying to be close to him so he won't get hurt if Jimmy snaps or something happenes

anyways Fuck Jimmy and what Curly did is also unacceptable

Splatoon worldbuilding doesn't really piss me off as much as it should tbh. It doesn't really bother me that a lot of stuff is underexplained, and even in my writing I don't really care about going into that much detail about that kinda stuff.

For example, things like this: How does ink go from the tank into the weapon? Is there a tube? Telekinesis?? Huh?? Where tf do the weapons go when they're in squid form?? I don't fuckin know!!

But y'know what, things like that being unexplained doesn't ruin the immersion or break my suspension of disbelief. It's a cartoon world after all. That being said, I still rewrite and change shit and ignore canon so it fits what works for me or whatever works best for what I'm writing.

I dunno man, I'm just rambling, rewriting video game shit to work in a real(ish) world setting is haaard

Don't. Ask about the head shape... trying to make pixel heads is actually a lot harder than you'd think (for me, at least)

Fun fact, I had to extend Clover out by one pixel for their feet so that I could include their leg pattern, so this is the tallest sprite I've made using vanilla Clover as a reference. I think. I haven't actually compared the three I've done so far. BUT I'M PRETTY SURE FOX CLOVER IS THE TALLEST
