I know Snape was the only death eater that was able to produce a patrons and I’d just like to beg your pardon.

Snape conjured a patrons based on an obsession. What he had for Lily might have been love once but let be real, we’ve surpassed that phase. Now it feels like it’s just an obsession over her.

Other than Lily, his life was fucking miserable. His father was a prat and his mother was weird. He got bullied at school and he doesn’t really seem to enjoy his teaching life very much.

It’s also portrayed that his patronus is conjured from love and not happiness.

So excuse me if I feel like any other death eater has happier memories than Severus Snape.

Lucius Malfoy, he’s respected at the ministry and has a wife, a son that he at least cares about, a nice ass mansion. He’s wealthy and grew up in a famous, rich family, why can’t he conjure a patronus?

Bellatrix Lestrange, like the only death eater who really enjoys what she’s doing with Voldemort. She straight up laughs when killing Sirius. Why can’t she conjure a patronus?

Regulus Black, whose love for his god damn house elf got himself killed. Why can’t he conjure a patronus?

Narcissa Malfoy, who loves her son more than anything, so much that she straight up lied to Voldemort who can read minds just because there’s a chance her son is still alive. Why can’t she conjure a patronus?

Why can’t any of the death eaters conjure a patronus especially since Harry, at 13 years old, could do it based on a made up memory.

It’s a shit excuse to get people to like Snape more.

fred weasley was notorious at hogwarts, known for his pranks and, more obviously, being a weasley. but also for his effortless charm with the ladies. his reputation as a heartbreaker was well-earned, yet it didn't deter the flocks of girls who giggled and blushed in his presence. he thrived on the attention, relishing the freedom of fleeting flings and casual encounters. but there was one girl who was different, someone who didn’t just blend into the sea of admirers.

you were the epitome of elegance, always carrying yourself with a regal air that commanded respect. your beauty was undeniable, but it was your confidence and poise that set you apart. fred had tried to catch your eye many times, but you always seemed to look right through him, as if you were untouchable. it only made him more determined.

one evening, during a particularly lively gryffindor common room gathering, fred spotted you sitting alone, reading a book. it was the perfect opportunity. he sauntered over, a smirk playing on his lips.

“evening, princess,” he greeted, leaning casually against the arm of your chair.

you looked up, arching an eyebrow. “fred weasley,” you acknowledged, closing your book and giving him your full attention. “to what do i owe the pleasure?” you said with a sarcastic grin.

“i couldn’t help but notice you over here all by yourself. thought you might like some company,” he said smoothly.

you gave a small, knowing smile. “company, is it? and what makes you think I’m interested in your kind of company?”

fred leaned in closer, his eyes twinkling mischievously. “oh, i think you might enjoy it more than you’d care to admit.”

you let out a soft laugh, leaning in so your faces were mere inches apart. “y’know, fred,” you began, your voice low and sultry. “i think you’re hot, in fact, i think you’re very sexy.”

fred’s smirk widened, but before he could respond, you continued, “i just… don’t want to get chlamydia.”

his eyes widened in surprise, and you seized the moment. “and look,” you went on, “i know you’ve never been serious in all of your… weasley little life, but i’m just the kind of girl you take seriously.”

with that, you stood up, brushing past him. “good luck though, you’ll find someone to suck your dick!” you called over your shoulder as you walked away, leaving him standing there, stunned and speechless.

the common room was abuzz with whispers and snickers, all eyes on him as he stood there, his usual confident attitude momentarily shattered. for the first time, he felt a pang of something unfamiliar - a desire to prove himself worthy, to be taken seriously by you.

over the next few weeks, fred found himself seeking you out, but not with his usual playful banter. he was sincere, genuinely interested in getting to know you. he would sit with you in the library, offering to help with your studies, and he’d walk with you to classes, always respectful and considerate.

one afternoon, as you sat by the black lake, fred approached you, his expression earnest. “can i join you?”

you nodded, gesturing to the spot beside you. he sat down, silence stretching between you. finally, he spoke, “i know i haven’t exactly had the best reputation, but i want you to know i’m serious about this. about you.”

you turned to look at him, seeing the sincerity in his eyes. “why me, fred? why now?”

he took a deep breath. “because you’re different. you’re not like anyone else. and i don’t just want a fling with you. i want something real.”

your heart softened at his words, seeing a side of fred weasley that few ever did. “i’ll give you a chance, fred. but you have to earn it.”

he nodded, a determined look on his face. “i will. i promise.”

as the days turned into weeks, fred proved himself, showing you a depth of character that belied his carefree exterior. he treated you like a princess, not just with gifts and grand gestures, but with his unwavering attention and respect. slowly but surely, you found yourself falling for the red-haired prankster who had turned out to be so much more.

in the end, fred proved to himself and to you that he could be serious, and in doing so, he won your heart.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando

Universal Studios Orlando is a popular theme park, it has a variety of attractions and entertainment for both kids and adults. If I were asked what my dream vacation would be then it’s definitely this. More specifically the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. As a big harry potter fan it is a dream of mine to go there and feel like I’m in the wizarding world. So, until that time comes here are the attractions I would most definitely visit.

Hogwarts Express

First stop is definitely the Hogwarts Express, sitting there while chatting with my friends will make me feel like a student going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Ollivander's Wand Shop

Next is buying my first wand at Ollivander's Wand Shop. There are a lot of wands to choose form, there's character wands, Hogwarts houses wands, and even personalized wands. There is even a wand ceremony where the staff at Ollivander's brings you into the ceremony room and the wand makers will choose one lucky guest to be selected by a wand.

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Shop

Next stop is Fred and George's Joke Shop where we could buy magical jokes, tricks, and toys. We could also purchase other things here such as shirts, keychains, and candies.

Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment

Next in line we have the Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment, a lot of items can be purchased here such as shirts, keychains, bags, mugs, and many harry potter themed items.

Three Broomsticks

After a long day of strolling around Diagon alley we need to fill our stomachs at the Three Broomsticks restaurant. Which will replenish our energy and of course let's not forget to order the famous Butterbeer.

Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Avdenture

Of course, we shouldn't miss out on Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventures. In this ride we could see Hagrid, Fluffy, Mr. Weasley's car with the giant spider's and many more magical creatures. The seats are designed like a replica of Hagrid's Motorbike.

Hogwarts Castle

For the last stop it will be the Hogwarts Castle. Wherein we can get a tour around the castle and relive the scenes in the movie. We could also the sorting hat, the mandrakes, and the talking paintings with other secrets to unfold. It could truly make one feel like a Hogwarts student.

Hello, what's your opinion on Rita Skeeter and the prees on the wizarding word?

Like, Rita Skeeter as a character — I love her. I think she's lots of fun, and I always found her incredibly entertaining. She's actually one of the smarter characters in the series and isn't given nearly enough credit for how many things she gets shockingly right (when she cares to write the truth and isn't just after a good story, but even then she's hilarious).

Like, I'd buy her books 100% just for the entertainment value. Like, I wish in the set of the Hogwarts library books like Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts we also had the Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore, as in, the whole book.

That being said, like all the press in the Wizarding World, she's crocked as shit.

I mean, The Prophet publishes whatever the minister & Wizengamot tell it to publish. There isn't really freedom of the press since all the large newspapers (yes, even Witch Weekly to a degree) are authorized by the government and push whatever agenda the government wants to push.

Year 5 (and later year 7) are the most glaring examples of that. With Fudge and the ministry going all: "there's no war in Ba-Sung-Se" on Voldemort’s return during Harry's fifth year. Tbh, the moment the official government-founded newspaper started publishing with the intent and purpose of discrediting a 15-year-old more eyebrows should've been raised by literally everyone. Like, no self-respecting would do what they did unless they're lying/hiding something big. (Like, no self-respecting politician with actual power who's secure in their position would do the shit Fudge pulled in year 5. That's like, classic desperation, and grasping to his little remaining power with the skin of his teeth moves. Like, these are moves you do when you know your time's up)

How easy it was for the Death Eaters to take over the press and the ministry is another example of how authoritative the Ministry of Magic, and by extension its press is. They regulate everything from what spells you're allowed to cast, the education, the exams, and travel (portkeys and floo networks can only be set up through a ministry office + apparition license), they regulate the importation and deportation of goods, and almost all of the population works in the ministry or with the ministry in some capacity. They then, of course, control the press completely and the Prophet only publishes what the ministry allows it to publish.

Yes, Rita criticized the ministry after the attack at the Quidditch World Cup (rightfully so, might I add) but that was allowed criticism. You don't see how much control the ministry has over the press when it's business as usual because Fudge knows a story like this would only require a performative slap on some random ministry official's (that isn't him) wrist. It's criticism that affects nothing and doesn't require anything from him, nor does it undermine him personally, so it is allowed. But the moment the ministry needs the Prophet in line, it falls in line. I mean, we see in OotP when Rita doesn't fall in line with the new orders she gets fired:

none other than Rita Skeeter, ex-journalist on the Daily Prophet and one of Hermione’s least favorite people in the world.

Book 1~~First Impressions 🪄

I've been rereading my absolute favourite Harry Potter fic lately, and I was reminded of how much I love Harry having snake friends in fanfiction. Then I began to ponder the idea of Harry having many snake friends, which progressed into Harry being adopted by snakes, which eventually evolved into this little au I have started to call the Caution: May Bite! AU, wherein little itty bitty baby Harry gets locked outside one night, and ends up meeting Nanati, a magically blessed anaconda who is a ward/service animal of an ancient Antipodean Opaleye, who, due to her blindness, could not finish her migration back to New Zealand, and so settled in England.

This Antipodean Opaleye, named Wadjet, has a particular fondness for serpents, and Nanati believes that Harry, who can speak to snakes, will be much better off with her, and so he takes Harry back to the valley where Wadjet and her various snakes live. She becomes a grandmother figure to Harry, who progressively becomes more and more wild, until he only speaks in Parseltongue, and is known more by Atiru, which was the name given to him by Wadjet.

When he is inevitably found because the Hogwarts letters will find you, hidden dragon magic or not, the Hogwarts staff have to find a way to reintegrate Harry into not only the magical world, but the human world in general.
