Magic Awaits: My Dream Vacation to Hong Kong Disneyland
When talking about a dream vacation, Hong Kong Disneyland is the first place that comes to my mind. As someone who grew up watching Disney and enjoys rides and activities, this theme park immediately caught my attention and soon became one of my dream destinations. The Hong Kong Disneyland, also known as "The Happiest Place On Earth," is not just a place for kids. It is perfect for teens and adults too! This theme park has numerous attractions to offer for everyone, from kids to adults. So, let me now share some of the amazing attractions at Hong Kong Disneyland that I would like to try and would also recommend for those who have the same interest.
Main Street, U.S.A
Let's begin with Main Street, U.S.A. One of the attractions in this area is the Disneyland Railroad, wherein people will have a chance to ride a vintage train that tours them around the park. It also allows passengers to roam around quickly and easily because the train has stops at Main Street, U.S.A. and Fantasyland. Furthermore, this place has some of the awesome souvenir shops, cafes, and authentic Disney-themed meals and pastries to buy. Plus, do not forget and miss the chance to watch the parade and meet some of the Disney characters!
Fantasyland: It's A Small World
Next, let us move to Fantasyland and experience a classical ride, It's A Small World. It is a boat ride that shows different scenes and figures, which represent different cultures from around the world. This ride is included in my list because it is enjoyable and ideal for the whole family.
Adventureland: Jungle River Cruise
Now, let us explore more to the Adventureland for the Jungle River Cruise attraction. This is another enjoyable boat ride that is perfect for family and friends to enjoy. It's like an expedition showing what they might see and encounter in the jungle, such as caves and wild animals. In addition, the tree house of the Disney film "Tarzan" can also be seen in this ride.
Tomorrowland: Hyperspace Mountain
Moving on for a more thrilling experience at Hyperspace Mountain in Tomorrowland. This indoor rollercoaster brings out the galactic theme and exciting scenes of the Star Wars movie. As a fan of rollercoasters and intense rides, this will definitely be on the list. For those who enjoy the same feeling, I will additionally recommend this attraction.
Toy Storyland: Toy Soldier Parachute Drop
Let us now head for another exciting ride. If you are looking for a ride that will give you chills and a bird's-eye view of the park, the Toy Story Soldier Parachute Drop at Toy Storyland will surely not disappoint. This ride will take you up in the air then drop you back down, like a toy soldier of Andy doing a skydiving. It is another fun and must-try ride with your family or friends!
Grizzly Gulch: Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars
Coming up to the Grizzly Gulch ride that excites me the most, the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars! Hang on for your exploration in the gold mining company, as you may encounter bears, dynamites, going up in a steep rocky mountain, and cable snapping that will drop you off back down the mountain. It is a thrilling ride that will surely make you scream and put your heart racing.
Nighttime Spectacular: Momentous
To wrap up the day, the Momentous fireworks show at the Main Street should not be missed. The iconic Disney music will be synchronized with stunning and colorful fireworks to light up the sky. This is the last thing that I would like to experience and suggest for others to have a magical ending for your amazing day at the theme park.

Travel the World of Imagination: Journeys Beyond Border
Kieth Denmark M. Retes | BSIT1A OVERVIEW:
Switzerland originates from the Old Swiss Confederacy established in the Late Middle Ages, following a series of military successes against Austria and Burgundy; the Federal Charter of 1291 is considered the country's founding document. Swiss independence from the Holy Roman Empire was formally recognized in the Peace of Westphalia in 1648. Switzerland has maintained a policy of armed neutrality since the 16th century and has not fought an international war since 1815. It joined the United Nations only in 2002 but pursues an active foreign policy that includes frequent involvement in peace building.
Switzerland is the birthplace of the Red Cross and hosts the headquarters or offices of most major international institutions including the WTO, the WHO, the ILO, FIFA, the WEF, and the UN. It is a founding member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), but not part of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area, or the eurozone; however, it participates in the European single market and the Schengen Area. Switzerland is a federal republic composed of 26 cantons, with federal authorities based in Bern. references: Switzerland - Wikipedia
Switzerland, a small yet influential country nestled in the heart of Europe, stands out in many ways. From its awe-inspiring landscapes to its unique political system, Switzerland offers a blend of natural beauty, cultural diversity, and global diplomacy that few other nations can match. Its distinct character is a product of centuries of neutrality, innovation, and a deep respect for its heritage, all of which contribute to the nation’s unparalleled reputation on the world stage.
One of the first things that captivates visitors to Switzerland is its breathtaking scenery. The country is dominated by the majestic Alps, with towering snow-capped peaks that attract adventurers and nature lovers from around the globe. Whether it’s skiing in world-class resorts like Zermatt and St. Moritz or hiking through verdant valleys and along crystal-clear lakes, Switzerland offers outdoor experiences that are hard to rival. Beyond the Alps, the country is dotted with picturesque towns, lush meadows, and sparkling lakes, such as Lake Geneva and Lake Lucerne, each offering their own unique charm. The country's commitment to environmental preservation further enhances the beauty of these landscapes, ensuring that they remain pristine for future generations.
Swiss culture is characterized by diversity, which is reflected in diverse traditional customs. A region may be in some ways culturally connected to the neighbouring country that shares its language, all rooted in western European culture. The linguistically isolated Romansh culture in Graubünden in eastern Switzerland constitutes an exception. It survives only in the upper valleys of the Rhine and the Inn and strives to maintain its rare linguistic tradition.
Switzerland is home to notable contributors to literature, art, architecture, music and sciences. In addition, the country attracted creatives during times of unrest or war. Some 1000 museums are found in the country.
Among the most important cultural performances held annually are the Paléo Festival, Lucerne Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Locarno International Film Festival and Art Basel.
Alpine symbolism played an essential role in shaping Swiss history and the Swiss national identity. Many alpine areas and ski resorts attract visitors for winter sports as well as hiking and mountain biking in summer. The quieter seasons are spring and autumn. A traditional pastoral culture predominates in many areas, and small farms are omnipresent in rural areas. Folk art is nurtured in organisations across the country. Switzerland most directly in appears in music, dance, poetry, wood carving, and embroidery. The alphorn, a trumpet-like musical instrument made of wood has joined yodeling and the accordion as epitomes of traditional Swiss music.

FINLAND When going on a vacation, our one and only goal is to relax and enjoy. Therefore, every time I think of having a vacation, Finland always comes to mind. As someone who lives in a country where we experience tropical climate, I really want to experience living in a country that has winter. And that is one of the reasons why I really like to visit Finland. According to Visit Finland, Finland has the lowest crime rate and corruption, which leads to earning trust between the government and public. In addition to that, Kipina's article states that Finland is known for being the Happiest Country in the World; they are also known for having clean air. And these facts make me want to visit Finland more!
Where to go in Finland?
Suomenlinna Fortress
One of the world's largest sea fortresses, the 18th-century fort on Suomenlinna is a 15-minute ferry ride from Helsinki's Market Square (a mini-cruise that has lovely views of the city as a bonus attraction). The main point of interest is the fortress-castle whose construction was begun in 1748 during an era of Swedish rule, originally named Sveaborg. In 1808, troops surrendered the fortress to invading Russians, and its condition deteriorated over the following century.
Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral
Uspensky Orthodox Cathedral rises dramatically above the east side of the harbor, its 13 green-topped spires ending in gold cupolas. This is western Europe's largest Orthodox church, its interior glowing with gold, icons, crosses, altars, and intricately decorated arches. The cathedral serves Helsinki's large Russian population, and visitors are welcome.
Design Museum Helsinki
The epicenter of modern Scandinavian design, Helsinki has an entire district devoted to studios, galleries, and even antique shops dedicated to Finish designers and their work. Whether you're shopping or just looking, a few hours in these neighborhoods is a chance to experience this vibrant facet of Finnish arts and culture. Design District Helsinki brings together creative people in the central neighborhoods.
Turku Castle
The southwestern Finnish town of Turku, the country's oldest town and until 1812 its capital, lies on the Gulf of Bothnia, at the mouth of the Aurajoki River. Turku lies in the area where the successors to the Swedish Vikings landed in the 12th century and set out to conquer what is now Finland.
Things to do in Finland:
Watch or sleep under the Northern Lights.
Visit a public sauna.
Try Finnish Cuisine
See iconic Finnish architecture and design.

Why I Still Play Stardew Valley After a Hundred Hours of Gameplay and Why You Should Too
Stardew Valley is the game that absolutely changed the way I view video games. It has been more than a year of playing and five hundred hours into this masterpiece and now, I want to dive in and share my experience with you all so you can see why playing this game is a hundred percent worthwhile.
Now, if I'm going to be honest with you, I would say that it actually took me a while to appreciate this game. It had already been a huge success in the video game industry and everyone was singing its praises, telling me how good it is, and it was even my family who got me into it. As someone who had no prior experience playing video games of this caliber (I only played your classic mobile games like Subway Surfers, Temple Run, etc.), I was skeptical that I would find it enjoyable in the slightest. In addition to that, it was a paid game and I definitely haven’t spent anything on games, making me wonder if it was going to be worth it. It was only a free Apple Arcade subscription that got me to install it. And looking back now, it was one of the best decisions I had ever made.
Stardew Valley is a cozy open-ended country-life role playing game wherein the player takes the role of a farmer who inherited their grandfather’s farm. Above the surface, it’s really just a simple game. You farm, build relationships with the NPCs, go fishing, mining, and just full-on experience that countryside life. But go beyond that, and you will see the absolute treasure of a game it is. Its gameplay, graphics, and storyline make it the most enjoyable game I have ever played, although I might be a little biased. Its soundtrack is also top-notch, encasing you in a comforting vibe. I get incredibly engrossed playing this and it feels like it takes me to a different world. The variety of gameplay it has to offer can even be overwhelming with its abundance, but that is something I deeply appreciate about it and now after “finishing” the game, I still long for more and find myself starting new playthroughs because it never gets old or boring.
It was the highlight of my summer, and getting my friends hooked into it as well was one of the unadulterated joys I felt. The point is, whether you are a professional or a novice at playing video games, Stardew Valley is for everyone and there is no way of playing it wrong.

Dream Vacation
Ma. Yesha Klarisse O. Opon BSIT 1A
Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando
Universal Studios Orlando is a popular theme park, it has a variety of attractions and entertainment for both kids and adults. If I were asked what my dream vacation would be then it’s definitely this. More specifically the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. As a big harry potter fan it is a dream of mine to go there and feel like I’m in the wizarding world. So, until that time comes here are the attractions I would most definitely visit.
Hogwarts Express
First stop is definitely the Hogwarts Express, sitting there while chatting with my friends will make me feel like a student going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Ollivander's Wand Shop
Next is buying my first wand at Ollivander's Wand Shop. There are a lot of wands to choose form, there's character wands, Hogwarts houses wands, and even personalized wands. There is even a wand ceremony where the staff at Ollivander's brings you into the ceremony room and the wand makers will choose one lucky guest to be selected by a wand.
Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Shop
Next stop is Fred and George's Joke Shop where we could buy magical jokes, tricks, and toys. We could also purchase other things here such as shirts, keychains, and candies.
Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment
Next in line we have the Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment, a lot of items can be purchased here such as shirts, keychains, bags, mugs, and many harry potter themed items.
Three Broomsticks
After a long day of strolling around Diagon alley we need to fill our stomachs at the Three Broomsticks restaurant. Which will replenish our energy and of course let's not forget to order the famous Butterbeer.
Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Avdenture
Of course, we shouldn't miss out on Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventures. In this ride we could see Hagrid, Fluffy, Mr. Weasley's car with the giant spider's and many more magical creatures. The seats are designed like a replica of Hagrid's Motorbike.
Hogwarts Castle
For the last stop it will be the Hogwarts Castle. Wherein we can get a tour around the castle and relive the scenes in the movie. We could also the sorting hat, the mandrakes, and the talking paintings with other secrets to unfold. It could truly make one feel like a Hogwarts student.
