#iwtv #iwtv armand #LESSER skill 💅🏽✨#im sincerely so curious to see how their dynamic plays out once he finds out marius is alive #bc it seems like he still thinks hes dead as of s2 #as far as i can tell book!armand doesnt find out marius is alive until he reads lestats book?? which will never not fuck me up #book!lestat is truly aint shit for hearing armands Tale of Woe then kicking it at marius’s mcmansion for a week #writing and publishing a book about it meanwhile never letting his friend armand who he ‘loves’ know that his fucking maker is still alive #but anyway in the show theyre definitely leaning into armand being more embittered towards marius which i loveeee #vs in the books where he seems more ambivalent?#its hard bc u can make a strong reading of book!armand as deeply resentful #but unable to process that relationship enough to understand his feelings about it #but ar is so shit at character development/keeping emotional consistency that it feels like a fluke when something actually tracks #like theres a great moment in qotd where marius is seeing armand again for the first time since his ‘death’ and marius is all hugging him #and armand is just sort of solemn and passively allowing it and not rly engaging with him #but then when marius needs him armand goes to his side and comforts him a few chapters later #and i think theres a lot you can glean from those two interactions but since ar spends no time digging into that at all its like…..#did it even mean anything? or am i imagining a better story than im actually reading #she just has this knack for laying the groundwork of a deeply fascinating character dynamic and then never fully seeing it to fruition #even in armands own book which is largely dedicated to exploring that relationship his feelings on marius stay pretty unresolved #he feels conflicted at the start and conflicted at the end and telling his story doesnt illuminate anything he still just feels the same #i can sit around and make different interpretations forever but the text never Goes There enough to be satisfying for me #and im not fucking reading blood and gold so if the insight i seek lies within someone just tell me. pls

It has been 5 days and I have forgotten how to speak in my normal human voice.

Even from another room in the house!!#Probably just because she is so curious about what's going on everywhere but I'm proud of her anyway #She slept on my neck again last night and woke me up by trying to give me some new ear piercings 😂#Forget getting ur ears pierced at Claires babes!! Get a little puppy with shark teeth to do it for free!!#Not hygienic or accurate but thats hardly different from Claires anyway 😂#I feel so so lucky to get to love such creatures. Baby belle would be trying to teach this one all her sneaky tricks already #I remember forgetting how to human voice properly when we got Big baby Rosie as well. #musings #bandit liveblogs agatha #agatha all along #agatha spoilers #the pacing in the eighth episode and parts of the ninth felt rushed #the nicky stuff was fanTAStic #but the fight with rio and the last trial felt differently paced than the rest of the series up to that point #and billy trying to banish agatha also felt a bit rushed #and sometimes with commercials it felt like it jumped from one place to the next #when i expected it to linger somewhere #putting on the shoes and then commercial and then bam they're somewhere else #it felt...choppy is maybe a better way to put it #the scene changes in these last two episodes felt choppy #and agatha calls rio her love but we have no previous anything in those fifty years as a basis for it #and the idea that maybe agatha can't control her powers felt well established #and then that also was a fake fluke and actually she can now?#i'm...conflicted #the nicky stuff was great #but a lot of the rest of it felt #....#choppy #that's the best word i have for it #it felt choppy #...and kind of how i write endings if i'm honest because #there's a good chunk of #wanda america fic #in part five that probably feels A LOT like this #and when i clearly need to end a scene and just don't transition #that's it - there aren't transitions #that's why it feels choppy

just wanted to thank everyone that's been encouraging me or offering some kind of support the last few times I talked about getting a cane... because I went and got one today and I didn't think it would make that much of a difference. I underestimated how much it would change for me.

#got a prescription from my GP last week and gathered my nerves together to get one today #thankfully we have a health care supply store only ten minutes away on foot #I'd planend on getting an anatomical one as prescribed by my GP and it was comfortable and id probably have chosen it too but #then the lady there told me to try the derby handle instead and honestly that was even better plus i can use it on both sides #its sleek and black for now because i can barely bear the thought of anyone seeing me using a cane in our small town in the first place #but once im comfortable..#anyway we went to a shop across the street afterwards because my besties mum needed to get some things and I didn't wanna go home by myself #and tbh i preferred the thought of going into our small city centre with somebody i trusted and felt comfortable around the first time aroun #long story short im super suprised by the difference it's making 😬 i mean ofc i didn't just get the cane on a fluke #but it was like 'well let's try it out it may help and people keep saying it's for stability and chronic pain too so why not'#yeah so apparently i did need it #i felt so much better #there were several instances where i noticed the cane kept me from stumbling or swaying or missing a step #it felt good #so thank you all
